Why Did I Get Cancer?

I had some HUGE takeaways in June. The good news? Both of these tips are easy to implement. The two areas where I gained the most insights were: Supporting someone going through a tough time. The peace that I feel when I continue to walk in forgiveness. How do you support someone who is going through a difficult time? Ask two simple questions: How are you doing right now? How are you doing with that news you heard today? Try to keep it simple and let them know that you can do specific things for them. So instead of saying, "Call me if you need me," say instead, "Can I drive you to your appointment on Thursday?" Walking in forgiveness. Doesn't it seem like almost every day, you can get offended and angry? One of my podcast guests told me how she moved through forgiveness after her daughter was diagnosed with an illness. She told me she'd go outside to the woods and scream. I thought that seemed like a good idea, but going out to the woods and screaming didn't resonate with me. What resonated with me was going to an exercise class and lifting weights. The loud environment allowed me to forgive someone who hurt me without worrying about being heard. I would say, "I forgive [name] and release you to the Holy Spirit." I realized that making my forgiveness more physical didn't mean I went after someone and smacked them upside the head (as fun as that sounds! ). Instead, the movement helped release stress from my body. By the end of one of my "forgiveness" workouts, I felt lighter and calmer. ______ Body Deli Why I love the Phoenix Lift Oil from Body Deli: Botanical Powerhouses for Deep Nourishment In addition to its scientifically advanced components, Phoenix Lift Face & Neck Oil features a curated blend of nutrient-dense, natural oils: Sea Buckthorn Oil: Rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants, it promotes skin regeneration and combats free radical damage. But At Least You Got A Free Boob Job. Are you surprised that people said this to me during my cancer journey? I was so surprised and, quite honestly, saddened. My first reaction was, 'We can't be friends anymore,' but what about the family members who said that to me?! I had to learn to have GRACE for people. People say dumb things in an attempt to make you laugh or because of their anxiety. Grace is challenging, but it also helps you manage your expectations of others, which can lead to deeper, more meaningful relationships. I was moved by today's episode with Michelle Patidar, nutrition and recovery coach and cancer survivor. She lost half her body weight and all her hair during chemo and radiation. She said she was a shell of her former self, and yet, she ended up trying to make her loved ones "feel better during HER journey" by encouraging them. That's a burden none of us were meant to bear. We also discussed our daily habits. Michelle believes that cancer prevention or recovery is a daily choice made BY YOU. We need to ask ourselves throughout the day, how does this habit serve me? Bonus Tip: Consider how you feel about spending time with the people in your life. After spending time with them, do they make you feel encouraged or discouraged? ______ Body Deli Why I love the Phoenix Lift Oil from Body Deli: Botanical Powerhouses for Deep Nourishment In addition to its scientifically advanced components, Phoenix Lift Face & Neck Oil features a curated blend of nutrient-dense, natural oils: Sea Buckthorn Oil: Rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants, it promotes skin regeneration and combats free radical damage. Today, we're talking about a topic that might make you squirm in your seat—parasites and worms! These creepy crawlies can hitch into our bodies through contaminated water, food, and less-than-sanitary conditions and wreak havoc. Now, I'll be the first to admit that when my guest Kim Rogers, also known as “The Worm Queen” of TikTok, reached out to me, I hesitated. Who wants to know about the creatures lurking inside us, right? But knowledge is power and if understanding more about parasites and worms could help me stay healthy, it's time for an uncomfortable conversation. We talked about the not-so-glamorous aspects of bodily functions—yes, that means we went into the topic of pooping quite a bit. But beyond the initial discomfort, Kim shares some invaluable insights into detox pathways and what she calls the three P's: peeing, perspiration, and, you guessed it, pooping. So, buckle up, folks. Let's learn all about these little buggers - and how to protect ourselves from them!  About Dr. Kim Rogers Kim Rogers AKA “The Worm Queen” journey reads like the tale of a true pioneer in holistic healing. With nearly two decades of experience in the allopathic medical field, Kim honed her skills and expertise, becoming a powerhouse in healthcare management, radiography, and medical specialties. Her academic prowess, including a Bachelor of Science with a focus on Health Services Management & HR, and an Associate of Occupational Studies with a major in Radiography and a minor in Psychology, marked her as a standout achiever. However, despite her extensive background and immersion in traditional medicine, Kim found herself at a crossroads when her health began to deteriorate despite the conventional approaches she knew so well. Her pivotal moment came with her first experience using Paraguard for a parasite cleanse, an event she openly documented on TikTok. The viral sensation that followed showcased her remarkable results and ignited a global movement of individuals seeking alternatives to the cyclical frustrations of mainstream medicine. Two years of rigorous research, experimentation, and personal cleansing experiences culminated in the creation of Parafy—a comprehensive protocol designed to offer individuals the most effective, supportive, and successful path to parasite cleansing. Kim's tireless dedication to uncovering holistic solutions and her unwavering commitment to educating and uplifting others have solidified her status as a trailblazer in the natural health and wellness community.  Connect With Kim Rogers Website  Instagram Facebook TikTok YouTube Disclaimer: Cleansing Exclusion While cleansing may offer benefits for many individuals, it's important to recognize that it's not suitable for everyone. Here's who should refrain from cleansing: Pregnant or Breastfeeding Individuals Children Under the Age of 3 Individuals Undergoing Chemotherapy Those Taking the Medication Coumadin (Warfarin) Before starting any cleansing regimen or making significant dietary changes, it's essential to consult with a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you fall into one of the above categories or have any underlying health conditions. Your healthcare provider can offer personalized guidance based on your individual health needs and circumstances. Kim Rogers' Method for Cleaning Produce: Ingredients: - 2 cups of vinegar - 2 tablespoons of sea salt - 1/2 lime - 1 gallon of distilled or filtered water Instructions: Combine 2 cups of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of sea salt. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime into the mixture. Add 1 gallon of distilled or filtered water to the container. Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure the salt is dissolved and the ingredients are well combined. Submerge the produce in the solution and let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Optionally, use a Therasage bubbler to agitate the water gently and enhance the cleaning process. After soaking, rinse the produce thoroughly with fresh water before use. Parafy worm kit You're not alone if you've ever wondered what's lurking in your body! Kim Rogers struggled with parasites and worms for years, and now she's created the Parafy Kit—a powerful cleanse designed to help you take control of your health. There's a strong chance you, or someone you know, has enjoyed a beer that has been made possible by the hand of Nikola Marjanovic. Following a degree in food technology, specialising in microbiological processes, at Serbia's University of Novi Sad, he became a quality engineer before then taking the position of brewing supervisor at Apatin Brewery. Three years later Nikola swapped Serbia for Scotland, becoming brewery manager at BrewDog. In more than six years, he oversaw a period of significant growth at the business. Upon leaving the Ellon brewery, he would head south to take the job of head of brewery operations and expansion at Beavertown before then moving to operations director last November. During that time, Beavertown was acquired by Heineken and also opened its new brewery in Enfield. Opening in August 2020, the new facility was armed with the ability to produce up to 500,000hl and to brew in 150hl batches. Thanks to the popularity of beers such as Neck Oil, Beavertown has only grown further since. And similar to his time in Ellon, Nikola has been integral in overseeing the commission and addition of equipment that brews and packs these beers.  In this episode we speak to Nikola about his role in specifying, building and expanding some of Britain's biggest breweries, the main hurdles and challenges he's encountered along the way, and his passion for learning, self-improvement and training, especially when it comes to his team.

Tom Rainsford is Marketing Director of Beavertown Brewery, the fast-growing London-based brewery, that was set up just ten years ago, with such recognizable beers as Neck Oil, Bones and Gamma Ray. With a mission to "encourage everyone to unleash their creative potential," Beavertown is not your ordinary company.
