We're talking about Nightcry, the irredeemably awful "spiritual successor" to Clock Tower that fails on every level. James mounts a small yet sturdy defense of the game as we both dissect its merits as a MST3K-style experience. Questions abound. like "is it so bad it's funny?" and - more importantly - "Why did we subject ourselves to this?"

Our stay in the Spookchamber gets even spookier as we attempt to survive the terror of NIGHTCRY! This spiritual successor to Clock Tower follows the story of a group of students on a luxurious cruise in the Caribbean. But the party is quickly interrupted when a supernatural monster armed with massive scissors appears! And the monster isn't alone. This game also has a cult, multiple ghosts, sorcery, and yes, even a killer vending machine. Sadly, it does not feature a coherent narrative, but c'mon. MULTIPLE GHOSTS!
