Well what a surprise! An R rated comedy from the 2000s that doesn't involve sticking your genitals into a pie. Too bad it involves unsavory jokes about cross dressing. Join the boys as they dive headfirst into an unsavory r rated comedy that has 100% aged like warm milk.
On today's episode, we're putting on our best parkas, looking for guys on Goth4Goth, and heading over to Pendleton University while we revisit the absolute 90s horror classic, Urban Legend (1998). This movie was directed by Jamie Blanks and written by Silvio Horta. This movie stars Alicia Witt (Cecil B. Demented, Twin Peaks, Mr. Holland's Opus), Rebecca Gayheart (Scream 2, Dead Like Me, Jawbreaker), Jared Leto (My So-Called Life, The Dallas Buyer's Club, Suicide Squad), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville, Sorority Boys, Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil), and Tara Reid (The Big Lebowski, American Pie, Sharknado). We also have some fabulous cameos from Robert Englund (Freddy Kreuger), Brad Dourif (Chucky from Child's Play), and Danielle Harris (Jamie Lloyd from Halloween 4 and 5).This is an absolute staple of late 90s slashers, and really brought the idea of urban legends into the popular culture. The story of how the film's director (Jamie Blanks) and writer (Silvio Horta) got to make this film is also a great story, too! Pull up on this movie as soon as you can. The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are rolling into March with a new Batman movie to talk plenty about, re-examining the many, many issues and discomforts of the 2002 sex comedy "Sorority Boys," as well as living out the harrowing 2016 thriller "Green Room" with Patrick Stewart as a skinhead Nazi leader. Fortunately, the guys have no shortage of things to say to make up for the lack of March episodes thus far. Enjoy. Episode 339 includes: -Ryan Coogler mistaken for robbing a bank? What? -"Marry Me" is a rom-com that suffers from the total lack of chemistry from both of its leads. -A whole lot to say about Matt Reeves' whole lot of Batman. -Switch the Pitch -- "Sorority Boys" / "Green Room" -The guys discuss the nervy 2016 siege thriller by writer/director Jeremy Sauliner and the abhorrent 2002 men-in-drag sex comedy that we are all better forgetting about, and then they combine both movies into a brand-new creative project on the spot.
“Look at me! I'm ugly! I would never f*ck me!"For Harmony's ACTUAL birthday choice, we're talking about a movie that is absolutely monumental to her "teen girl" experience, the 2002 raunchy cross-dressing comedy, SORORITY BOYS (2002). BJ has an eye-opening experience reanalyzing a film she disregarded in her youth, because Harmony makes a compelling argument for SORORITY BOYS as one of the best examples of a trans read. On this episode of DID YOU EVEN WATCH IT? we discuss 'SORORITY BOYS' DID YOU EVEN WATCH IT? is a PODCAST by three brothers and a best Mate, where we talk about one of our biggest passions, movies. In particular, movies that are seen by critics and/or fans as flops/failures/average that we enjoyed or simply movies that we don't think have gotten the notoriety or praise that they deserve. Each week we will pick a different movie to discuss and talk about things we love about the movie, the actors, favourite scenes, quotes, behind the scenes trivia and even parts of the movies that didn't make sense or could have been done better. Maybe we find listeners that agree with us and maybe even change people's minds on some movies or think we are crazy for loving these movies.

This week I'm joined by famous podcast guest & essentially unknown comedian, Nick Carr. Recognisable as the whipping boy on The Little Dum Dum Club with Tommy Dassalo and Karl Chandler, Nick joins me on my real podcast to have a real discussion about real issues (his words), those being the teen sex comedies of the late 90s and early 2000s, specifically Sorority Boys, American Pie, and Road Trip. We blame basically all of our personality flaws on these films and basically, we're perfect humans now. I think this is a good episode but who can ever be sure?
This week’s conversation is with Michael Rosenbaum, actor, producer, and comedian. The diverse actor has worked in over twenty films, such as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, Hit and Run, Urban Legend, Sweet November, Bringing Down The House, Pool Hall Junkies and Sorority Boys.Michael has worked with everyone from Bradley Cooper and Sylvester Stallone to Christopher Walken and Clint Eastwood. He portrayed Lex Luthor on the smash hit Smallville for seven years and voiced The Flash on the hit animated series The Justice League Unlimited. In this conversation Michael shares the highs and lows of being an actor in Hollywood – how he’s had to work on caring less what others think and focus on getting to the center of who he truly is and what matters most to him.I appreciated Michael willingness to show vulnerability. This episode is brought to you by:Athletic Greens: Receive a free 20-count travel pack of Athletic Greens (valued at $99) with any purchase!Claim here: athleticgreens.com/findingmasteryWHOOP: Starting today you can join WHOOP for $30 a month, six month minimum to begin.
