Welcome to the first installment of our new addition to the #DLSS Podcast; THIS SEGMENT: RULES! A part of the show where we take a deep dive into some sort of Rule, Regulation, or otherwise influential part of the combat sport scene that doesn’t have to do directly with the “punches and the kicks” as Chael Sonnen would say. This portion of the full-length podcast will be set aside as a stand alone episode for those who aren’t always able to knock out the full show as fast as they might like due to its long form format & length! This week we take a look at the 10Pt Must System of scoring fights adapted from Boxing. We discuss the inherent flaws “baked” into that system and the issues it can cause with judging in MMA.
