Dr Michael Lange and Dr Susan Summerton host the longest running medical talk show called "Ask the Dr" today form Salem Media in Tampa Bay Florida. "Ask the Dr" is a doctor hosted talk show that has been running nonstop since April of 1993. Both doctors discuss glaucoma "the sneak thief of your site" with a caller and make specific recommendations. They discuss advanced technology used to diagnose and follow glaucoma used at the Lange Eye Institute in The Villages Fl. Dr Lange also discusses some natural ways to support healthy intra ocular pressure and aid in neuro protection of the optic nerve. Motocross is a physically demanding sport, and Dr Lange discusses the importance of carbohydrates after riding or exercise. Both doctors talk to a motocross racer about ways to enhance recovery after racing motocross or after any form of exercise. Thye also discuss the importance of creatine and how is it beneficial for cognitive and mental well-being not just for muscles. The doctors do a discussion on the powers of pomegranate and the potential benefits when it comes to post recovery. Lumenis Opti Light is the only FDA approved IPL for dry eye treatment and DR Lange talks about how great he feels this technology is and how his patients are responding very well to their IPL treatments. Dr Summerton dives into the science behind the Lumenis Opti light for dry eye treatment secondarily to meibomian gland dysfunction. Ime tedna je Matija Solce, režiser, ki so ga nagradili za dve različni predstavi. Na 33. Dnevih komedije je prejel naziv žlahtnega režiserja, njegova predstava 3JA! pa je po oceni občinstva postala žlahtna komedija. Z režijo lutkovne predstave Seansa Bulgakov Lutkovnega gledališča Ljubljana, v kateri spretno združuje animacije predmetov, senc in luči je osvojil tudi nagrado za najboljšo predstavo na mednarodnem festivalu v Veszpremu.Kandidata sta bila še: Matija Strlič, vodilni avtor prve sistematične raziskave vonjav mumificiranih teles, pri kateri so uporabili različne instrumentalne in senzorične tehnike, vključno z elektronskim "nosom" in izurjenimi človeškimi vohalci. Z raziskovalci ljubljanske Fakultete za kemijo in kemijsko tehnologijo ter kolegi z univerzitetnega kolidža v Londonu so odkrili, da imajo  staroegipčanske mumije vonj po lesu, sladkem in začimbah. Marija Strojnik, znanstvenica in inovatorka, zaslužna profesorica na Optičnem raziskovalnem inštitutu v Leónu v Mehiki, ki se ukvarja predvsem z uporabo optične tehnike pri astronavtiki in raziskovanju vesolja. Za razvoj temeljnih optičnih testnih tehnik ter za akademsko vodstvo na področju optičnega inženirstva so ji pri ameriškem strokovnem združenju za optiko in fotoniko Optica, podelili medaljo Davida Richardsona za leto 2025.

Se împlinesc 166 de ani de la Unirea Principatelor Române. Elita care a făcut posibilă unirea, recunoașterea ei pe plan internațional și apoi a participat la consolidarea tînărului stat român a fost, în mare măsură, formată din scriitori. Alexandru Ioan Cuza este ales domnitor în 24 ianuarie 1859, la București, după ce fusese ales domnitor și la Iași, în 5 ianuarie. Dar acest moment este precedat şi urmat de eforturi diplomatice în cancelariile europene. Și este posibil într-un context internațional favorabil. Despre rolul scriitorilor pașoptiști la realizarea unirii, la recunoașterea ei pe plan internațional și, apoi, la consolidarea tînărului stat român am vorbit cu Alina Pavelescu, istoric, director adjunct al Arhivelor Naționale ale României și scriitoare.Alina Pavelescu: „Acei intelectuali despre care vorbiți și care erau într-adevăr scriitori, dar încă nu erau politicieni – ei au fost mai întîi niște oameni de litere și abia după aceea au devenit politicieni – încep să pledeze cauza României în timpul studenției lor în principal la Paris. Și găsesc un teren favorabil în Franța lui Napoleon III, care a fost unul dintre sprijinitorii principali, dacă nu cumva cel mai important actor politic extern care a sprijinit ideea de unire a Principatelor Române. (...) Oamenii care fac credibilă în străinătate ideea de unitate națională a românilor sînt oameni care s-au format în străinătate, care au aderat la lojile masonice din Franța și care în felul acesta au reușit să se integreze într-o ambianță culturală a unei mari puteri și să creeze imaginea unei națiuni frecventabile, a unei națiuni care putea să trăiască la înălțimea idealurilor Europei occidentale din acea vreme, putea să le înțeleagă, putea să aspire la ele și la rigoare putea să le și realizeze. (...) Acești intelectuali care au adus spiritul și ideile occidentale în Principatele Române la acea vreme au avut rolul cheie în ceea ce s-a întîmplat.”Tinerii din generația de la 1848, pașoptiștii, cum aveau să fie numiți, sînt, în egală măsură, spirite europene, deschise către nou, și mari patrioți. De fapt, sînt mari patrioți pentru că sînt spirite europene. Ei sînt artizanii Unirii. Mulți dintre ei sînt scriitori: Vasile Alecsandri, Ion Heliade Rădulescu, Ion Ghica (în scrisorile lui către Alecsandri Mircea Cărtărescu găsește adevărate perle narative și romane in nuce). Cum de pasiunea pentru literatură se leagă în cazul lor de pasiunea pentru ideile revoluționare, între care se remarcă ideea politică de stat națiune, cea mai modernă idee a acelor vremuri?Alina Pavelescu: „Lucrurile erau foarte legate în modelul de intelectual al epocii. Acești oameni reprezentau acel model, pe care l-am numi astăzi polimat, al unor intelectuali care aveau o formație mai degrabă enciclopedistă, pentru care cultura era foarte importantă, pentru care educația maselor era foarte importantă. Propria lor educație era importantă, mai ales atunci cînd se făcea într-un spirit care le permitea să-și modernizeze și să-și înnoiască țara. Ei legau ideea de cultură națională de ideea de datorie față de țară. I've pretty much lived a holistic lifestyle and was a nerd when it came to learning. Whether it was about law, finance, relationships, health and wellness. I have always been enamored with the human psyche and the way we all interact with one another especially to our own self. All my life, people would come to me for advice and guidance, and I have always enjoyed helping them. My journey of self-discovery started when my father passed. Losing him paused everything for me. You see, I was a teen mom and with that began my journey of parenthood. In my culture and being the oldest in the family meant I had a lot to uphold. I was the one who took care of everyone's needs, tending to my kids, parents, and career. Although, my life was great, I didn't realize that I was living on auto pilot and had lost sight of who I was, my passions and dreams. In the midst of life, I had lost myself and when it stopped, I knew I had to find who I was and so I began my journey of self-discovery. I have always felt that I was meant for more, but I didn't know what that was. My journey wasn't always easy but looking back I see that everything happened exactly the way it needed to. With deep self-work, reflection, and connection with my inner self, I realized that the more I was in alignment and in tuned with myself through the healing of my mind, body, and spirit, I started to see things miraculously unfold. Through this clarity, I had an awakening, and the answer came to me of what I was meant for and that was to help empower moms in their own journey of self-discovery, so that they can find their way back to their own spiritual home and begin to live their soul's highest purpose.
