Diskutovale su o pravosuđu u Srbiji - dugotrajnim sudskim procesima, neuspehu pravosudnih reformi, političkim uticajima na sudstvo – ali i o rudarenju litijuma, odnosno njegovim pravnim i ekonomskim implikacijama. Govoreći o političkim uplivima u pravosuđe, Rakić Vodinelić je naglasila da se mora razdvojiti politički od stranačkog stava. „Normalno je da sudija, kao i svaki čovek, ima svoje političko mišljenje. Ako se donosi ili menja neki zakon na osnovu koga on sudi, sudovi moraju da imaju pravo da kažu šta o toj promeni misle. Ali ono što je ovde teško razdvojiti, zato što je takva atmosfera napravljena, jeste politički ili pravno-politički stav sudije od stranačkog stava. Jer vi ako ne razmišljate onako kako razmišlja Ministarstvo pravde, vi ste odmah opozicija i gotovo, ti si sudija i ti izražavaš svoj politički stav i sram te bilo. Zabrane koje kod nas postoje su dovoljne – sudija ne sme biti član političke stranke i ono što je vrlo bitno, sudija ne samo da mora da bude suštinski nezavisan, već mora tako i da izgleda, da ostavlja takav utisak. To dvoje kod nas je vrlo teško ispunjivo jer ako niste ulizica ovoj vlasti onda niste nezavisni“, kaže profesorka Rakić Vodinelić. Poredeći situaciju sa eksploatacijom litijuma u Finskoj, na šta se sam predsednik neretko poziva, Rakić Vodinelić je, sa pravnog aspekta, podvukla da je situacija neuporediva. „U Finskoj eksproprijacija nije tako jednostavna kao kod nas, zato što kod nas eksproprijacija za posebne potrebe ide na osnovu specijalnih zakona kao što je bio Zakon o Beogradu na vodi. Dakle, ne obavlja se po opštim zakonima nego po skraćenom postupku koji odgovara onome ko daje dozvolu za određeni objekat, a to je država, a država zna se ko je. I ta garancija u našoj zemlju, s obzirom na iskustva sa leks specijalisima, ne postoji. Drugo, naši propisi o zaštiti životne sredine nisu jednaki propisima EU i bilo čija garancija, pa makar dolazila i od nemačkog kancelara, da će se poštovati pravila EU, pada u vodu kada se zna da su nadležni za zaštitu životne sredine lokalni inspektori. I onda je ostalo da mi verujemo predsedniku republike, koji je diplomirani pravnik, na reč, da će on otići na svako od tih kopova i da će sam vršiti kontrolu“, zaključuje gošća Danice Popović. Proponents say it works through the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner's palms to the client. What happens in a Reiki session? Practitioners will typically give Reiki treatment in a peaceful, private setting. However, the treatment can take place anywhere. During a session, the client will sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a table, fully clothed. A Finnish startup has developed a nutrient catcher that is installed in wastewater management systems. The wastewater treatment equipment is able to separate and collect all excess nutrients from concentrated wastewaters, which can then be recycled and sold back to the fertilizer industry, making businesses more profitable, mitigating eutrophication, and enhancing local food security. NPHarvest, a spin-off from Aalto University, has raised €2.2M to take its proprietary nutrient catcher machine to the market. The round was led by Nordic Foodtech VC, with participation from Stephen Industries and Maa- ja vesitekniikan tuki ry. The round consists of a €1.3M equity investment and a €900.000 grant from the Finnish Ministry of the Environment and their RAKI program. NPHarvest to tackle wastewater NPHarvest has developed a novel and soon patented hardware solution for collection and recycling of nutrients from wastewater. With the new funding, NPHarvest is going to build the first commercially ready Nutrient Catcher, ready to be installed in their clients' facilities. Thanks to the process' modular design, the Nutrient Catcher can scale to different use cases and fit different facilities while keeping the production costs as low as possible. "Our process is much more energy and cost-efficient and easier to operate than the current solutions. Our end product is ammonia salt, which is commonly used in the fertilizer industry. We are very excited about bringing this technology to the market after years of research and development, bringing sustainable and affordable recycled nutrients and fertilizers to the market," says Juho Uzkurt Kaljunen, CEO and founder of NPHarvest. Nutrient fertilizers are vital for securing food production. However, excessive amounts of fertilizers, such as nitrogen and phosphorus, end up in the environment via wastewater or through nutrient leaching from agricultural areas. Both cause pollution of the ground and eutrophication in seas and lakes, which in turn causes overgrowth of algae and weeds, especially toxic blue-green algae, depleting oxygen and killing animal life. Wastewater is also responsible for around five percent of all greenhouse gas emissions. Losing valuable nutrients in wastewater is a missed opportunity for the whole agricultural ecosystem. Fertilizer prices are volatile and they need to be imported from abroad, decreasing self-sufficiency. The inability to remove excess nutrients from the ecosystem will also gradually lead to soil contamination, as farmers prefer using fossil-based mineral fertilizers or nutrient-rich manure. However, too much nutrients might actually result in nutrient deficiencies in plants. NPHarvest's hardware can catch up to 90 percent of the excess but valuable nutrients from wastewater. Once the technology has separated the nutrients, they can be taken back to the fertilizer companies. NPHarvest's process also uses very little energy, as it doesn't require heating or pressure increase, reducing the costs of the process even further. "No one has done nutrient catching on a real commercial level, which made us as foodtech investors impressed with NPHarvest and its unique technology. Ensuring food security while protecting the environment is one of the top priorities in the food system. NPHarvests technology has what it takes to combine these aspects in a very interesting business model," says Mika Kukkurainen, Partner at Nordic Foodtech VC. NPHarvest has two patents pending and is gearing up towards building its first products, ready to be installed at wastewater management facilities. Their main customers are wastewater management plants, biogas plants, and livestock farms that are trying to cut their costs, reduce their carbon footprint, or earn extra income from recycled fertilizer sales. Gorske bukve. Najbrž bi marsikdo pomislil, da bomo govorili o kakšni redki drevesni vrsti, ki si zasluži posebno pozornost. Vendar pa to ne bo tako. Leta 1582 je župnijski vikar Andrej Recelj na Raki pri Krškem prevedel štajerski vinogradniški ali gorski zakon iz leta 1543. Recljev prevod pa je znan pod imenom Gorske bukve. To je najstarejše ohranjeno slovensko zakonsko besedilo in najobsežnejše ohranjeno slovensko besedilo kakega katoliškega avtorja iz obdobja, ko so slovenski protestanti vzpostavili slovenski knjižni jezik. Prinaša pa tudi bogato besedišče, ki ga je prevajalec črpal iz ljudskih izrazov v zvezi z vinogradništvom ter iz tradicije ustnega sodstva, zlasti gorskega prava, v okviru katerega se je izoblikovalo slovensko pravno izrazje. Tako so med drugim zapisali ob izidu kritičnih prepisov in jezikovnih posodobitev Gorskih bukev leta 2022. In o Gorskih bukvah bomo govorili tudi v oddaji Sledi časa, avtor je Milan Trobič.
