Nach ersten Clubbesuchen im Rhein-Neckar-Dreieck, und dem ersten Kontakt mit Techhouse/Techno, war es um ihn geschehen. Anfänglich noch eher dem Hip Hop zugewandt, entwickelte er sehr schnell ein großes Interesse für elektronische Musik. Mit der Zeit wurde sein Musikgeschmack in Richtung treibenden Straight Techno gelenkt. Insbesondere haben es ihm Artists wie zum Beispiel Dax J, Tobias Lüke (O.B.I.) oder Manuel Orf (Viper XXL) angetan. Als ihm das Techno feiern und hören nicht mehr reichte und er durch Freunde mit dem Auflegen in Verbindung kam, war der Kauf von eigenem Equipment eine reine Reformsache. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt arbeitete Deepstahl seinen eigenen Stil aus, mit dem er das Publikum bei seinen Auftritten für sich begeistert. Der Name 'Deepstahl' setzt sich zusammen aus dem Wort ''deep'' - das für das tiefgründige und düstere steht - sowie aus dem Wort ''Stahl'', welches Kälte, Härte und das massive in der Musik repräsentieren soll. Der Name wiederspiegelt somit seinen Stil. Neben Techno spielt Deepstahl auch die härtere Gangart Hardtechno, bei der er stets den Ausgleich zwischen harten, wummernden, sowie melodischen Tracks findet. Bei seinen Auftritten ist Deepstahl die Leidenschaft immer anzusehen und man merkt, dass er Musik und Feiern nicht nur liebt, sondern lebt. He dealt with music more and more and finally wanted to get his "hands dirty" himself and started djing digital with his PC and Native Instruments Traktor. 2011 he bumped into Niklas Beyer, soon his friend and mentor. He bought Niklas' old Technics 1210s and his Pioneer DJM 600 so it turned out he had his own Equipment at home. On a daily basis he stood behind his Dj-Desk and was practicing, practicing and practicing. After only half a year there already was his breakthrough. Niklas Beyer supported him in gaining foothold at the legendary U60311 and made it possible for him to play his first gig - at that time going by the name of "SpeeEcs" - on Wednesday the 04.05.2011 at the U60311. He thoroughly convinced on this gig and as a consequence more gigs at the U60311 followed. Slowly he began to grow more attention and on 02.09.2011 he played his first weekend gig together with Niklas Beyer at the Gambrinus Fürstenbahnhof Bad Homburg. Another Highlight of his career was playing directly after Felix Bernhardt, one of his greatest idols at the U60311 on the 09.09.2011. At the end of August 2011 Björn started to produce his own music with Ableton Live. Just a short time ago he is already succesful doing so and signs a label contract at Mycore Records. His greatest success of his career so far was Torsten Kanzler deciding to let him play on the 16.05.2012 at the New Faces Party at the famous Tresor in Berlin, which is something he will never forget. 2012 he brings his own "Baby" to life - the event series "MIR EGAL ICH HÖR TECHNO (MEIHT) which takes place every second month at the MTW Club in Offenbach am Main. Die Clubszene in ganz Deutschland konnte damals noch nicht ahnen wer ihnen nicht mal ganz 20 Jahre später mächtig einheizen wird. Ziemlich genau Mitte der 90er trugen das erste Equipment, das Palazzo in Bingen und die Faszination des Musikverschmelzens die Hauptschuld daran, dass eine tolle Musiker-Karriere ihren Lauf nahm. Es dauerte 3-4 Jahre, bis die ersten Clubs und Radiosender auf ihn aufmerksam wurden und er zunächst regional eine Gelegenheit nach der anderen wahrnehmen durfte sein Können an den Decks zu präsentieren. Pünktlich zur Jahrtausendwende gab es auch eine große Wende in seinem bevorzugten Genre. Ein begeisterter Anhänger von progressiven Techno und später HardTechno hatte sich aus dem einst vollblut Trancer entwickelt. Gut Ding will Weile haben sagt der Volksmund und behält damit auch in diesem Fall Recht.
