Elektronische Tanzmusik entdeckte er im Alter von 17 Jahren. Durch langjährigen Geigenunterricht ab einem Alter von sechs Jahren, wurde sein Ohr musikalisch früh geschult, weshalb es ihm nicht schwerfiel, dem gängigen 4/4 Takt elektronischer Musik zu folgen. Artists wie Torsten Kanzler, Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte und Klaudia Gawlas, prägten seine Inspiration, bis sich Wiese 2013 dazu entschloss, auch mit dem Handwerk des DJing zu beginnen. Dies sollte er jedoch erst 2017 professionalisieren und sich in der Zwischenzeit, ausgiebig mit Hifi-Stereo und Audioelektronik im Allgemeinen auseinandersetzen. Seit 2018 ist Wiese fester Bestandteil von TnF-Podcast und trägt durch seinen Artist-Support und seine Netzwerkarbeit, zu einer subkulturellen Basis bei. Seit Beginn seiner DJ Laufbahn folgten immer regelmäßiger Bookings in Clubs und auf verschiedenen Veranstaltungen. So spielte Wiese bereits in Lokalitäten wie der Musik- und Kulturfabrik „dieGrube“, dem Club Z in Köln, im Frau Tanz in Kassel, oder im Kuba in Warburg. Seit 2022 ist Wiese stolzer Resident DJ bei feet to the beat und für seinen Veranstalter, Stefan Rempe, auf den meisten Veranstaltungen gebucht. Während die Anfangszeiten seiner Karriere von hartem Techno geprägt waren, steht Torsten Kanzler längst für einen zukunftsweisenden und internationalen Sound im Technogenre. Seine Releases auf Labels wie Filth on Acid, 100% Pure oder seinem eigenen mit Herz geführten Imprint TKR, finden sich in den Plattentaschen von Acts wie Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini oder auch Adam Beyer wieder. Auch mit seinem Label TKR setzt er weiter Maßstäbe. Nachdem es ein wenig ruhiger um das Label wurde, startete er im vergangenen Jahr mit zahlreichen Releases wieder voll durch.

Harter, deeper Techno mit einer großen Portion Druck ist sein neustes Spezialgebiet. Sein erster Besuch einer Techno Party weckte seine Liebe zur elektronischen Musik. Kurzerhand wurde sich 2012 der erste Controller besorgt und kurze Zeit später mit seinem Kollegen das Duo „Aktiv&Anregend“ gegründet, welches sich in der Marburger Szene unter anderem auch mit der Veranstaltungsreihe „Marbylon“ an die Spitze mauserte. Bald verließen die beiden mit Ihrer Kunst Marburg und bespielten Club‘s in Frankfurt, Gießen, Köln und Kassel. Nichts währt für immer, die Wege der beiden trennten sich und Jan gründete 2017 die Podcastreihe Brgfst und 2018 mit seinem Kollegen Alex das Duo „Dichter&Henker“. Die beiden spielten in den nächsten beiden Jahren vor Shdw&Obscure Shape, Klangkünstler, Torsten Kanzler, Anna Reusch, Bebetta, und Dapayk (Solo) und auf mehreren Festivals. Jan spielte alleine in den letzten beiden Jahren vor Größen wie Cannibal Cooking Club, Spartaque und Tinush. Seit Anfang des Jahres ist er beim Label Experiece Kassel am Start. An experience of goosebumps when listening to electronic music inspired Ron to play out to the crowds and create his own sound. In 2009 he bought his first set of decks and started his collection of music, quickly he was playing out in the clubs. In 2010, he showed how fast he had progressed when entering a DJ contest and secured himself a gig on the Airbeat One Festival. In the following years he played in many clubs and open air festivals with a sound reminiscent of the artists ‘llusionize, Kolombo & LouLouPlayers’. The recognisable sound quickly gained a strong following within the heart of the German Mecklenburg techno scene, supporting some of the biggest artists in the scene such as ‘Pan Pot’ and ’Stephan Bodzin’. In 2013, Ron played for the first time at the legendary Berlin club ‘Katerkiosk/Katerholzig’, demonstrating his progression through the scene. The overriding passion to start producing his own music meant long hours in the studio to develop his sound, this was followed by some early releases from 2014 on smaller labels. The scene was changing and Ron wasn’t satisfied with his sound, so in 2017 he decided to take a short break and worked tirelessly to produce the hard techno sound like ‘Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, T78 and Kobosil’. The time away has proved a great success, his latest tracks have been signed to the German top labels ’Ragnarok Berlin" & "Black Square Records’. Starting off as a DJ, she’s made the transition as a producer and kicked off own label Kuukou, a home for techno forward productions, where she calls all the shots. In this time she’s also transplanted to Berlin, a place she now calls home and the major source of her creative inspiration, a source as diverse as her influences. Simina’s musical roots stem deep in her childhood when she studied classical violin and keyboard. Coupled with her parents’ musical legacy and her passion for Hip Hop freestyling as a teen, it encapsulates the foundation of her style, an avenue she continues to explore to this day. Garnering on the exposure of Toronto’s clubs, where growing up, the likes of Jeff Mills, Josh Wink and Juan Atkins struck a chord, Simina’s style grew and developed constantly into the straightforward and uplifting techno she fronts today. Her first productions came to light on the Berlin label Sonat Records, followed by releases with Phrase Insane Records in Spain, Italy’s Intelectro Vibe, Urban Sound and Frequenza Records. A debut album was sure to follow, as Exit City became one of Susumu Records’ highest chart toppers. After a year long break, where she focused her efforts on motherhood while keeping an active studio schedule, Simina christens Kuukou Records in July 2016 with her inaugural EP “Techno Monkey’. Shortly after, she doles out “Matching Numbers” on Popof’s FORM, an immediate hit EP complete with a smashing remix by Julian Jeweil. She continues to release both on Kuukou as well as FORM while working on remixes and collaborations for numerous techno labels in parallel. An active globetrotter, Simina’s constantly touring, having wowed crowds at festivals and venues all over the world so it’s no surprise the Techno chief named her label Kuukou (Japanese for airport). She has been pushing a steady row of releases from the likes of Torsten Kanzler, Alfred Heinrichs, Martin Books, Daniel Boon with premium artists as remix support. Most recently 2017 has seen Simina embark on her yearly Asia tour, with highlights at Strawberry Festival and G-Festival, Elevator Shanghai and Beijing’s ultimate underground techno club “Lantern” - otherwise known as the Berghain of Beijing. Hallo liebe Liebenden, ein neues Mixtape wartet diesen Freitag auf euch, an den Decks, Alexander Weinstein. Alex ist ein Urgestein der Berliner Techno Szene, aufgewachsen neben den Bassboxen im Tresor Club an der Leipziger Str., fand er schnell selbst den Weg an die Decks. Er machte sich einen Namen in der Hardtechnoszene, mit vielen eigenen Releases und legendären Sets im Tresor, neben seinem Mentor, Torsten Kanzler. Doch dieses Hardtechnoimage hat er, genau wie Torsten erfolgreich abgelegt, erfand sich und seinen Sound neu und spielte sich in die Herzen der Technofans und der Berliner Clublandschaft. Doch dabei blieb es nicht. Nach eigenen Veranstaltungsreihen gelang ihm sein bisher größter Wurf und wohl schönstes HerzensProjekt überhaupt, er kreiert das Festival "Die Letzte Wiese", wo es in diesem Jahr die Vierte Auflage gibt. Wir drücken ihm und seinen Projekten alle Daumen die wir zur Verfügung haben und hören bis dahin seinen Beitrag für unsere Zug der Liebe Mixtape Reihe. Emanuele Millozzi was born in Rome in 1985. He started attending the Techno and Progressive parties in his hometown when he was just a teenager, ending up very often spending his Sundays in the raves and remaining fascinated by them... Over the years he understands that electronic music is more than a passion for him and begins to approach the first sequencer, at the same time he bought his first console and begins to externalize all these feelings that music had always resulted in him...so begins a journey that takes him across several musical styles, his mind lives and feeds from the atmosphere breathe in the clubs that are continuously part of his life and elaborates by proposing personal ideas of the sounds that hit him. Meanwhile, time passes and his dj-sets are beginning to be appreciated so much that led him to perform in the period 2008-2011 in some of the best parties in Italy in spaces dedicated to emerging Djs as the "darkroom" of the famous and "Diabolika @ Nrg Superclub" and the "Bar "of "Traintek @ Rashomon Club",established techno party in which he performed in sets of 4 hands with his friend Claudio Petroni with whom he often collaborate in the studio at that time. At the same time his technique in music production grows and its products are now published by high-profile labels and collect even 2 vinyl releases that are soon sold out so his sound gets strength and confidence. In a short time his works are published on the label which, in time order : AFULAB, Land Of Voodoo Nutempo, Miniaturesrec,Elektrax,!Organism, Illegal Alien and his promos receive positive feedback and are played by DJs such as Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Speedy J, Len Faki, Phil Kieran,Dubfire, Jesper Dahlback, Dj Emerson, Markantonio, Slam, Xpansul, Thomas P Heckmann, Claude Von Stroke, Ramon Tapia, Alexi Delano, Lars Klein, Paco Osuna, Mateo Murphy, Stephan Bodzin, and many more. In 2012 he moved to London where he founded Silent Storm Records on which he works four hands with his partner in crimes Luke Di Lullo. In short time they managed to bring their brand inside the Techno scene and make it well known releasing music from artists such as Brendon Moeller, D. A great leap in the career he made as a floor host in the successful CLR party series called Sound of butane in Wuppertal cult club butane. There he proved himself every month among countless newcomers as absolute dancefloor machine as if there were no tomorrow. It was time for larger projects, he played alongside Torsten Kanzler in Berlin club Tresor, won under a pseudonym Electro tool to remix contest with Dubfire on his label SCI + TEC Digital Audio and secured a contract with the agency Black Circus, the Mike Maass & Intense Pressure was founded. A.Paul (POR) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 73 pt.5 3RD ANNIVERSARY! Bio: A.Paul was born in Lisbon, Portugal in November 1971, and his career started in 1986, although his first contact with music was made at a very early stage, mainly through the hands of his older sister that would regularly listen to disco, funk, and electro sounds in the 70′s. From a music passionate mind, to a national celebrity, A.Paul is today one of the key players of the electronic music scene on a worldwide scale, both as a DJ and as a Producer. His taste, technique and originality made him earn the respect from his peers and most of all the love and devotion from his fans. After the first years of musical discovery, his talent start to blossom when he was 13, despite living in a country where only a small percentage of people would listen to dance music, he always knew that these infectious rhythms would be on his path. After buying his first decks and mixer, including a couple of years of bedroom practice, he organized a few parties himself and later acquired his first residencies in clubs, through the hand of J.Daniel, who was one of the most respected Portuguese DJs in the 90′s. He was the owner of Question of Time Records, a vanguard record shop and record label, where A.Paul would later release his first record “Juice” a remarkable masterpiece that was played by many top DJs worldwide and licensed to various labels and compilations. He was also invited to be part of the Climacz project, the first after-hours club in Portugal, which was one of the first milestones of his career. The amazing spirit this venue brought to the Portuguese scene is still remembered with great joy and nostalgia by A.Paul himself. At some point he felt the need to move on and search for new challenges. In 1996, he became part of the Illegal Records project as a techno import manager, was invited to be resident of the best club at that time Kremlin, and later founded his first labels, Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet, which were two relevant projects that helped define and polish his sound. By then he was also already playing quite a lot as freelancer, in a growing market. Portugal was at its peak, in terms of electronic music popularity and A.Paul was playing at one point every weekend on different parts of the country. It was inevitable that he would decide to stick to this option for his career, as opposed to be resident in a club, where he would be more limited in terms of music taste. In 1997 he joins the X-Club, the most important DJ Agency and party organizer in Portugal. All the top cats were signed to X-Club, and so was A.Paul, first as a supporting artist, and later part of the agency’s top artists too. This period was very important for A.Paul, and his growth was remarkable, because he had the chance to meet and play with all the major techno and house artists in the world. Other projects developed by A.Paul at that time include sound engineering, journalism and also graphic and web design, activities that would become also important on his next projects. A.Paul was voted best Portuguese techno DJ in 2000, 2001, and 2002 by the readers of Dance Club, the main electronic music media vehicle in Portugal. A.Paul has never stopped investing and supporting the electronic music community particularly in techno. This is when A.Paul decides to start exploring the international market, due to the changes in the Portuguese scene.1994 to 2000 was monumental time after suffering from the huge decline in quality and quantity of events and musical culture. From the “Paradise Called Portugal” coined years before by international media, Portugal was now a place with a stagnated scene, and techno was probably the first genre to suffer. It was time for change, this crisis lead him to invest his time in a music production career, that was quiet for a few years due to the higher demand for DJ previously. In 2001 he opened Genesis record shop. Later in 2007 A.Paul was co-owner of MPC Vinyl Distribution, with his long-time friends Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and Michaelangelo, where he also released on his other sub -labels The Light, Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, LK and Xtractz. In In 2012 A.Paul’s most renowned & most successful project to date is Naked Lunch Records which was created back in 2005 really began to really take mold into one of the driving forces in the techno scene. Naked Lunch Podcast, a weekly podcast, which is a careful balance of top quality underground DJs and the game changers in the techno scene. Fast forward to 2013, this marked a new monumental moment in A.Paul’s career as a promoter, by the end of the year he had 5 success events under his belt! With the success of the highly acclaimed Naked Lunch Nights in Portugal, its natural step would be to take his events international for 2014, alongside the grand opening of the much anticipated Naked Lunch Agency, the missing puzzle piece to complete his techno vision & one day his legacy. A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records, several mixed CD compilations released in amazing labels like; Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhyhtm, Italo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, Impact Mechanics, and has remixed artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, Dj Preach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz and many more. It is a recording from a gig that Subsolid did at Kanzlernacht, Tresor 14. June this year! Q: You have musical roots in various genres of music, how did you discover techno? A: My musical roots?? Haha, that's right... My first love was old school Hip Hop. I came in touch with Techno in the mid-2000s. Visiting the old Tresor in Leipziger Strasse changed everything, no joke. The ultra dark basement floor, red lights, mad strobes and a hard pumping bass that I've never heard before... This experience was incredible for me!!! I'm infected till this day. Q: Do you have any plans to venture into music production as well? A: Yes, I have planned my debut release on Nachtstrom Schallplatten with remixes from Torsten Kanzler & Pierre Deutschmann (aka Elematic) and Kevin Witt. Furthermore I'll do a Remix for XLR1507 and a solo EP for favor.! There's a lot to do. Q: Coming from Berlin, what influence would you say that this city has on techno music? A: Berlin is the hometown of Techno and it wouldn't even be possible without the crazy party people, every weekend, every day. Everything's moving. 24/7!!! The city never sleeps. Two of the world's most famous Techno clubs (Berghain/Tresor) you can find. Countless producers and DJs are living in the city, which makes Berlin to a Mecca for Techno lovers worldwide… Q: Some Djs have a "go to" record or artist that they always play. Do you have one? A: Two of my favorite producers are Jonas Kopp & Markus Suckut. Both have such a powerful style that becomes part of my sets again and again. Q: What is the best club in Berlin right now? He bought Niklas' old Technics 1210s and his Pioneer DJM 600 so it turned out he had his own Equipment at home. On a daily basis he stood behind his Dj-Desk and was practicing, practicing and practicing. After only half a year there already was his breakthrough. Niklas Beyer supported him in gaining foothold at the legendary U60311 and made it possible for him to play his first gig - at that time going by the name of "SpeeEcs" - on Wednesday the 04.05.2011 at the U60311. Hackler & Kuch, real names Bo Andrée and Ernst vd Berg, started their career in 2009 as Dj’s. They played small minimal parties in and around the city of Leiden. In 2010 they started their ‘Hackler & Kuch’ project in which they moved their focus towards more deeper and peaktime focused techno. By the end of 2010 they had their first works ready and In 2011 they released on platforms such as Ireland/Germany based Gobsmacked Records and UK based Transmissions. Their first full album ‘Beethoven was deaf too!’ was released at US based Machine Box Records. A.Paul (POR) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 34 Pt. 2 Bio: A.Paul was born in Lisbon, Portugal in November 1971, and his career started in 1986, although his first contact with music was made at a very early stage, mainly through the hands of his older sister that would regularly listen to disco, funk, and electro sounds in the 70's. From a music passionate mind, to a national celebrity, A.Paul is today one of the key players of the electronic music scene on a worldwide scale, both as a DJ and as a Producer. His taste, technique and originality made him earn the respect from his peers and most of all the love and devotion from his fans.After the first years of musical discovery, his talent start to blossom when he was 13, despite living in a country where only a small percentage of people would listen to dance music, he always knew that these infectious rhythms would be on his path. After buying his first decks and mixer, including a couple of years of bedroom practice, he organized a few parties himself and later acquired his first residencies in clubs, through the hand of J.Daniel, who was one of the most respected Portuguese DJs in the 90's. He was the owner of Question of Time Records, a vanguard record shop and record label, where A.Paul would later release his first record "Juice" a remarkable masterpiece that was played by many top DJs worldwide and licensed to various labels and compilations. He was also invited to be part of the Climacz project, the first after-hours club in Portugal, which was one of the first milestones of his career. The amazing spirit this venue brought to the Portuguese scene is still remembered with great joy and nostalgia by A.Paul himself.At some point he felt the need to move on and search for new challenges. In 1996, he became part of the Illegal Records project as a techno import manager, was invited to be resident of the best club at that time Kremlin, and later founded his first labels, Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet, which were two relevant projects that helped define and polish his sound. By then he was also already playing quite a lot as free lancer, in a growing market. Portugal was at its peak, in terms of electronic music popularity and A.Paul was playing at one point every weekend on different parts of the country.
