El quinto álbum de U2, ʻThe Joshua Treeʼ, alcanzó el #1 en el mes de abril de 1987. El disco, uno de los más vendidos de la banda irlandesa, se gestó en una época en la que la banda comandada por el cantante Bono buscaba sus raíces y su sitio en el mundo musical.
