The History of Top 40 Radio is an audio documentary produced by radio legend Richard Ward Fatherly. The cassette of the audition copy was given to me (Dick Wilson) by Richard while I was working at KCMO-FM years ago. If you have anything to do with radio this is a must listen. It's the origination of the Top 40 radio format by Todd Storz at KOWH in Omaha and led to success across the nation at stations like WHB in Kansas City, KXOK St. Louis, WQAM Miami and many others. I was always in awe of Richard's production talents and he was very proud of this History of Top 40 radio production.
