Elliott Wave Analyst Mark Galasiewski foresees Gold leading a multi-decade commodities and miners bull market. Bitcoin and info-tech will decline. The U.S. Dollar will fall; but emerging markets will prosper. Interest rates have now entered a long-term rate rising cycle. We are at a great inflection point in which funds will increasingly flow from intangible assets (bitcoin/tech) and into tangible assets (gold/commodities/miners). Mark Galasiewski (gala-SHEV-ski) began his analytical career in 2001, researching fundamentals of listed stocks at an institutional brokerage in Stamford, Connecticut. Since joining EWI, Mark has presented at several investment conferences in Asia and has been interviewed by and featured in major media outlets such as Bloomberg TV Asia, India's CNBC TV-18 and ET Now, the South China Morning Post, Bloomberg newswire, Dow Jones Asia newswire, Barron's, Forbes, and Press Trust India. Mark has a degree in East Asian Studies and lived for six years during the 1990s in Japan. He is fluent in Japanese and conversant in Mandarin Chinese. Hello and welcome to CNBC-TV's Markerbuzz Podcast. Here are all important cues ahead of the trading session of April 2 -Overnight in the US, all three major indexes ended mixed as the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield climbed to 4.319%. Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.6%, S&P 500 dipped 0.2% while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 0.11%. -Asia-Pacific markets too were mixed this morning, as investors assessed economic data from South Korea and Australia. -Factory activity data from India is due later in the day. Manufacturing activity in China and the U.S. expanded in March for the first time in six months and 1-1/2 years, respectively. Markets viewed this as an indicator of rising oil demand. -Oil prices gained in early Asian trading underpinned by signs of improved demand and escalating Middle East tensions that had sparked a rally in US futures to a five-month high in the previous session. Brent futures for June delivery rose to just under $88 a barrel. -Nifty 50 hit a new high yesterday, negating any bearish views. However, Nifty's struggles above 22,500 and the broader markets convincingly outperforming continue. -Experts say that 22,500 remains a key hurdle for the Nifty and only a decisive close above that can trigger the next leg of the rally. -Foreign investors remained net sellers in the cash market on Monday, while domestic investors continued to remain buyers. -The Indian market is likely to open with minor cuts with an eye on Bank Nifty, which has in the last six sessions gained over 1,200 points. Banking stocks will be in focus through the week as quarterly business updates are reported along with the RBI policy outcome. -The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct auctions for all central government securities through multiple price-based method from this financial year, nearly three years after it changed its methodology. -Stocks to watch: Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel, Reliance, Aditya Birla Fashion, Uno Minda, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor, NMDC, CSB Bank, South Indian Bank, Zomato, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki Tune in to the Marketbuzz Podcast for more cues

My latest guest is controversial. If you google ‘Nathan Latka’, you’ll see headlines that call him inspirational… and others that call him a con-man (or use more colorful language). Most CEOs or software founders would fear that kind of negative press. But not Nathan.  In fact… he encourages it. He wants people to either love him or hate him as long as they aren’t somewhere in between. He wants polarizing opinions because it leads to attention. It’s a bold play, but… it’s paid off. Originally Nathan founded Heyo.com, a social media marketing SaaS that leverages viral giveaways.  After successfully exiting, he then founded GetLatka.com, a SaaS info database.  Now he’s the writer of a book called How To Be a Capitalist Without Any Capital that has sold over 25,000 copies and he is the host of a popular business podcast called The Top with 10 million episode downloads. He’s a master of marketing and has no shortage of opinions on SaaS businesses.  So I sat him down to pick his brain and understand how and why he thinks the way he does, exploring SaaS financing options in the meantime. This is your behind-the-scenes exposé. Check it out. I can’t say I agree with Nathan’s methods… but they are interesting. In our chat, we get talking about: - His airport magazine funnel that converts at 49% - How he convinced top CEOs to get on his podcast from day one - Why it’s cheaper to get people to hate you - How he knew he could sell a book… but could he write one? - Latka’s Million Dollar Roadtrip (his CNBC TV show) - How SaaS financing has been rapidly changing - The 6 types of funding options for founders There is a bit of everything in this episode. From book publishing deals to TV show productions, to SaaS financing options, to funnels… Nathan and I are old friends and I’ve always wanted to ask him these controversial questions… he gave me permission so the gloves came off.  If you’re wondering what his crazy life has to do with your business though, it’s worth listening just to hear his answer to the question: “How would you find the perfect SaaS to invest in?” Get your headphones ready, queue it up right here, and enjoy. -- Dan Martell has advised more startups than his hometown has people and teaches startup founders like you how to scale. He previously created, raised venture funding for and successfully exited two tech startups: Flowtown and Clarity.fm. You should follow him on twitter @danmartell for tweets that are actually awesome. + Instagram (behind the scenes): http://instagram.com/danmartell + Facebook (live trainings + Q&A): http://FB.com/DanMartell + Twitter (what I'm reading): http://twitter.com/danmartell

https://www.youtube.com/user/WrightStateU When she arrived at Wright State University as a freshman, Kristy Epperson was hoping she would be able to graduate with less than $40,000 in student loan debt. She did. In a very big way. When she graduated with her nursing degree in 2017, she was only $14,000 in debt. And in less than a year-and-a-half she had paid it all off along with a $6,000 car loan. And she bought a house, all by the age of 23. “How I did that was pretty much hard work and a little bit of sacrifice,” said Epperson. “I looked at it as such a short period of my life that I could make these sacrifices and use this discipline and that it would set me up for financial freedom in the future.” Epperson’s story has been featured on CNBC-TV, in the Detroit Free Press and in other media outlets. Show Notes Life has a way of doling out lessons and we would do ourselves some good if we listened. When we think about the army, we may wonder, what lessons can it actually teach us. As it turns out, lots. This episode of The Entrepreneurial You podcast examines some of the lessons being in the army can teach us. You won't always have all information. You never have all the information you need to make a decision. Nevertheless, you must think on your feet quickly and make the decisions that you take. You must be able to live with the consequences of the decision that you take. Leadership Being a veteran requires that you are able to lead effectively. Similarly, being an entrepreneur requires that you lead a team well if you want to have success. You are 100% responsible for those who are aiding in carrying the vision forward. The focus has to be outward on the people you lead and not inward on self. Team Player You need to have empathy, understanding the concerns of those whom you lead. Once your team understands why, the how becomes pretty simple. They must know the mission and fall into place. Trust is also important. It is like the glue keeping the team together. Debriefing This is a process of doing a post-mortem is important. What was done well and lessons learned for future. The leader should give the team an opportunity to have their say.   TOP TIP: For everything that is negative, find something positive. Find solutions from challenges. ---- Connect with Brig. This week we tackle another listener question from our ASKPB queue: Hey guys! The question I have is if I should stay in a job that I don't like until I pay off all my debt. I'm in my late 20's, and I'll make 70k this year and I have 28k in credit card debt. The credit cards have been cut, dipped in lighter fluid, and thrown into a fire pit. I've been using only cash and started budgeting. The job that I currently work at pays well, but I don't enjoy the work or people. I've been with this company for a couple years, and only stayed with them because I was told there would be future opportunities in my field. As of right now, I don't see that happening in the near future, and feel the longer I stay, the further away I'll get from doing the work I actually want to do. I don't know if I should go ahead and leave or stay until I'm debt free. Another thing is that my job provides housing and transportation, additional cost that I would have if I switch jobs. Either way I'm going to leave, just don't know if I should leave sooner rather than later. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
