Además el petróleo ha vuelto a subir y eso, precisamente, penaliza a las bolsas. Este cambio radical en la dinámica de los mercados es el resultado de las renovadas tensiones en Oriente Medio y el nuevo cruce de ataques entre Estados Unidos e Irán. En este sentido hay que sumar también las más recientes declaraciones de Donald Trump en las que amenaza con imponer un nuevo arancel a los buques que transiten en el estrecho, además de restablecer el bloqueo a los puertos iraníes. Ignacio Marrón señala que “Los últimos acontecimientos en Oriente Medio no apoyan una tendencia alcista”. El IBEX 35 sufre una caída de un 0.25% El principal índice bursátil de referencia de la bolsa española, es uno de los afectados por el entorno geopolítico cada vez más convulso y enfrentado. Sin embargo el invitado expone a modo tranquilizador que “las últimas caídas que hemos visto no suponen un cambio en la tendencia alcista de corto plazo, y tendría que caerse por debajo de los 17.832 para realmente poner en riesgo la continuación de esa tendencia alcista, por lo tanto, de momento caída sin mayor importancia”. Así mismo también señala que “nos encontramos atravesando un periodo estival, en donde la liquidez es más baja y donde probablemente también los movimientos pueden ser más gruesos y un momento verdaderamente inestable”. Además puntualiza que “hay demasiados elementos ahora mismo que tenemos que vigilar, que tenemos que tener en cuenta porque el equilibrio es muy inestable que puede hacer que vuelvan a los platillos de la balanza hacia el lado que no nos interese, y por lo tanto nos dé un hueco en mercado que sea difícil de gestionar”.

Según Marrón, el valor mantiene una sólida tendencia alcista y resulta coherente plantear su incorporación, ya que se encuentra lejos de perder sus soportes en el corto plazo. Sobre Grifols, apunta que es una compañía interesante desde el punto de vista corporativo, aunque atraviesa una etapa convulsa, por lo que puede representar una inversión arriesgada, pero con potencial. En el sector financiero, menciona a Banco Sabadell, que muestra un comportamiento positivo en líneas generales, aunque actualmente se mueve en un rango más lateral y sin capacidad de marcar nuevos máximos. En el corto plazo, señala que la mayoría de los valores caen, a excepción de utilities y materiales básicos, y advierte que, mientras no supere el nivel de 3,18 euros, no lo mantendría en cartera.

Tomaso Poggio is the Eugene McDermott professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, an investigator at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research, a member of the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and director of both the Center for Biological and Computational Learning at MIT and the Center for Brains, Minds, and Machines. Tomaso believes we are in-between building and understanding useful AI That is, we are in between engineering and theory. He likens this stage to the period after Volta invented the battery and Maxwell developed the equations of electromagnetism. Tomaso has worked for decades on the theory and principles behind intelligence and learning in brains and machines. I first learned of him via his work with David Marr, in which they developed "Marr's levels" of analysis that frame explanation in terms of computation/function, algorithms, and implementation. Since then Tomaso has added "learning" as a crucial fourth level. I will refer to you his autobiography to learn more about the many influential people and projects he has worked with and on, the theorems he and others have proved to discover principles of intelligence, and his broader thoughts and reflections. Right now, he is focused on the principles of compositional sparsity and genericity to explain how deep learning networks can (computationally) efficiently learn useful representations to solve tasks.
