Nutritional Biochemist, Jay Foster explains the dangers of high Homocysteine in a blood test, showing increased risk for Stroke, Heart Disease and Depression, among other conditions. Homocysteine is easy to test for on a blood test, but most doctors don't order it because they haven't been trained what to do if it is high. Elevated levels of Homocysteine do not respond to medications, which is why the pharmaceutical industry does not instruct your doctor how to control it. The good news is that high dosages of Folic Acid and B12 found in our Methyl Guard formula, 2 per day, almost always will bring the homocysteine down to normal, reducing the future risk of heart disease , stroke and depression. Jay also reveals information on the important role that Vitamin C (as ascorbate) plays in reducing several different cardiac risk factors, For more information on any of our topics or programs at Body Chemistry Associates, call us toll free at 1-800-CHEMIST, visit us on the web at 1800chemsit.com or call us locally at 305-670-6702 We have been doing local and long distance biochemical and nutritional testing for over 41 years.
