The kraken a legendary sea monster of gigantic size, born in Scandinavian folklore. According to the sailors of yesteryear, the kraken dwells off the coasts of Norway and Greenland and now SEATTLE terrorizing nearby sailors and soon skaters. In 2021 The National Hockey League will enter Washington state for the first time with the birth of the mighty Seattle Kraken. The team is built by legendary player/general manager Ron Francis and begins play this October in the pacific division. They will have a chance to further grow the legend of the mighty kraken with a decent team built off the backs of other NHL teams. The boys talk about some of the struggles that the Flames organization is going through and whether that problem lies with the coaching or players on the ice. One thing Oilers and Flames fans can agree with is how irritating Eric Francis truly is. We wrap up the hockey conversation by discussing our fondest Flames memory. Those Canadian Lads wrap up the podcast talking about Alberta reopening up slowly from Covid and discuss the spin around the hotel program currently being enforced for Canadians returning home via flight.
