It was a wild start to the week for the Seattle Kraken and their fanbase, as the team announced on Monday that it had fired head coach Dan Bylsma after just one season at the helm. It was also announced that Ron Francis would become president of hockey operations, and Jason Botterill would become general manager. In this episode, the guys spend most of the hour reacting to that news and unpacking the Tuesday's press conference. No, Draft Day is NOT a great, must-see movie! There were big shakeups at the Kraken headquarters yesterday with Ron Francis promoted into a Presidential role, Jason Boterill promoted to GM and Dan Bylsma ousted as head coach. :30- It's time for Draftmas Stocking Stuffers: - All of the rumors yesterday were suggesting that all the QBs are flying up the board and this morning their now apparently falling again. - Jaxson Dart described as a project, Cam Ward would be the 7th QB in last year's draft and there's mixed rumors about the Saints as well. - Mason Graham has been wearing Jags gear which sparked speculation that he was headed to Jacksonville, but that doesn't seem to be the case. - A lot of the final mocks are coming out and based on Chuck's research, the large consensus shows that the Seahawks will take Tyler Booker at 18. :45- Rowdy Tellez turned things around in Toronto- can he keep on hitting? Tellez struggled to start the season, despite some solid knocks that just couldn't land.

Darnold struggled a bit towards the end of the season and has only had one good season in the NFL- which one was the anomaly? :30- It's Day 2 of Tamperfest and the Seahawks need to address some key O-line issues, but it won't be easy… especially since Will Fries just signed with the Vikings and we aren't sure that Schneider has even woken up yet! Is John Schneider going to change his philosophy and step up to pay free agents? Jeff and Joey give their individual grades for the moves which sparks Joey to go off on a Seattle sports fan fueled rant on the history of convincing players to come to the Emerald City. Ron Francis, Kraken GM sits down with Ian as we look over the team's rookie camp on the ice from the Kraken Ice Plex. He discusses the draft picks as well as the team's decision to sign Brandon Montour and Chandler Stephenson. In addition, Ron gives us some insight on what might happen with the current roster, considering salary cap implications.   BREAKING: The Kraken have made a move and traded Brian Dumoulin to Anaheim for a 2026 draft pick. The US Men's National Team was disappointing last night and it brings us to a conversation about youth sports and the future we're looking at right now.   The Mariners have a big week ahead of them - is going 3-3 enough for fans to be satisfied over the next few series?   Joe Sheehan joins Ian to discuss the latest downturn the Mariners have seen and the buzzsaw they're facing as Baltimore comes to town. He sees them as the best team in the American League right now. He also gives his thoughts on Julio Rodriguez's slow start this season. The Mariners have exceeded expectations this season so far, and Joe gives us some perspective on what they actually are.   What happened to the US Men's National Team last night?   The Daily Power Play! Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13 joins us to give observations from KCI today as we get a first-time glimpse of the new draft picks and younger players on the ice. Ian is thrilled with the Kraken's first two draft picks, and we review what they've done in free agency today. We discuss the Mariners' fourth series loss in a row and how much criticism Julio Rodriguez actually deserves right now. On today's Daily Puck Drop, we cover the incident involving Yankees manager Aaron Boone and home plate umpire Hunter Wendelstedt. if you didn't see it or hear it, Wendelstedt ejected Boone for something he thought he heard from the dugout but video footage showed it was actually a fan in the stands sitting behind the dugout. Wendelstedt doubled down after the game with a pool reporter and claimed it came from the Yankees dugout.  MLB needs to do somthing about their umpire problem. it continues to erode the integrity of the game. NFL draft coming up on Thursday, we have Danny Kelly from The Ringer on the show later today.  Kelly's episode drops at 1pm on all platforms. What should the Seahawks do at 16?  Agree with Kelly, if Troy Fautanu is there, you run to the podium and make him the selection, even if Michael Penix is available, still take Fautanu!  There is no doubt that one, two or three of these quarterbacks taken in the first round will not work.
