The Yas and Amen Podcast provides a space, community, and tools for Holy Spirit-filled people to grow in their faith and biblical understanding. We do this through real-life testimonies, honest conversations on biblical truths and how they relate to our everyday lives, and scripture-based meditations that bring you to a place of intimacy with God and His Word. We are here to grow together and give God glory through what we do, say, and think. Amen? AMEN! Follow on IG at @we.are.full and our host on IG at @pricelispd
The Yas and Amen Podcast is truly a gift from God. It provides a relatable and familiar voice that we all need in our lives, serving as a safe place that cultivates community, wholeness, and renewal of the mind through scripture, the word of God. Hosted by Pricelis, this podcast is being used by God to bring timely topics that are necessary in our lives. The discussions covered here are not often spoken about in churches, so hearing them addressed on this podcast is a true blessing. The meditation episodes are particularly powerful, offering a calming and anxiety-relieving experience. Listening to these episodes has brought immense peace and calmness into my life. I am incredibly grateful for Pri's commitment to keeping God's word on her lips and creating a space for intentional meditation on it.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how spirit-led the topics are. Pricelis does an exceptional job of creating space for authentic conversations that touch upon relevant issues in our lives. The episodes feel genuine, encouraging, and thought-provoking. The Selah meditations are truly gems within this podcast, providing moments of stillness and immersion in the presence of God. They are perfectly timed and offer an easy way to take 10 minutes out of the day to be still with Him.
However, one possible drawback of this podcast might be its focus on scripture and biblical teachings. While this may be appealing to believers in Christ, it may not resonate as much with those who do not share the same faith background. However, I would still encourage everyone to give it a listen regardless because these conversations hold valuable insights that can benefit anyone.
In conclusion, the Yas and Amen Podcast is an amazing resource for anyone seeking spiritual nourishment and a sense of community. Pricelis's gift with words shines through her prayers and meditations, making them incredibly powerful experiences. This podcast has become an integral part of my self-care regimen, providing a space for honesty, stillness, and genuine conversations. I am excited to continue listening and eagerly anticipate more episodes from this beautiful gift.

We live in a world full of tragedy, pain, tensions, disagreements, and so many other things that can cause us to have hardened hearts. But the things about being 'hard' is that it doesn't benefit anyone involved and it surely doesn't glorify God. It takes something God intended and changes its original state. God made us to be tender-hearted, soft, gentle, compassionate, and open. In this episode, we get to talk with and learn from our sister Charaia about this topic! We talked about what does it mean to be 'soft' in a 'hard' world, what that looks like for women and particularly Black women, what scripture says about it, and how we can get to a place to truly being tender-hearted. We live in a time where there is so much division and conflict. Division is not of God but conflict isn't necessarily a bad thing - yet both things get to have a response from us with LOVE. We get to use the tool and power of love towards those we disagree with. All human beings are image bearers and it seems like as a body of Christ and society, we are struggling with the scripture in Luke where it says to 'love your enemy'. In this episode, we get to talk with and learn from Ashley on this topic - about practical ways to live in love, setting boundaries with those we disagree with that are toxic or abusive, and growing to be more and more like Christ by loving our enemies.
