The Taylor-Made gang is back to break down season two. In lieu of a two-minute drill, here's everything you need to know to get you up to speed on what we'll discuss: Season 2, Ep. 1 “Last Days of Summer” Matt and Julie’s relationship is crumbling thanks to this mysterious guy that suddenly shows up named The Swede, Tami has her baby and is struggling hard with Eric not around to help out, Tim Riggins is back to his old self and is pursuing Lyla hard. Lyla though is focused on her newfound faith. The Panthers have a new coach who Buddy Garrity hate. And none of this really matters because Landry killed a dude to save Tyra. Season 2, Ep. 2 “Bad Ideas” Distance is taking its toll on Eric and Tami, as is the new Dillon head coach on Buddy Garrity’s favorite thing on earth. Carlotta has arrived at the Saracen household to be Grandma Saracen’s new in-home caretaker and Julie breaks up with Matt. But again, none of this stuff compares to the fact Landry killed someone to save Tyra. Season 2, Episode 3 “Are you ready for Friday” Billy is with Jackie, who slept with Tim Riggins last season. Now that Matt doesn’t have Julie, the writers decided to give him a weird beef with Smash. Julie is with The Swede now, I guess. And Jason quits coaching to go see if an experimental surgery in Mexico will help him walk again. And one last time, none of this really even measures up to Landry KILLING someone to save Tyra.
Kelli and Hannah talk about some books they read, their thoughts on Aladdin, and then they go in to recommendations for reading for your summer vacation. Kelli finally read some more War and Peace and Hannah tries to sneak in Bachelorette stuff, but Kelli is too smart to fall for that. Join us!

Friday Night Lights 104 and 105 - We watched episodes 104 and 105 of Friday Night Lights and we have so many questions! Why is Ray "Voodoo" Tatum portrayed so unsympathetically? Is Tyra's heartbreak the catalyst for her journey into a strong woman? Are Buddy Garrity and Guy Fieri biological brothers? PLUS, we are joined by Patrick Dunn, one of the masterminds behind the Connie Britton's Hair Twitter account and general hilarious human! Starring Mary Johnsen & Katie Elliott, produced by Michael Johnsen.
Deep Space Nine's fourth season runs aground on some pretty mediocre episodes this week. Oh, "Hard Time" is fantastic, sure, but then "Shattered Mirror" tries (and fails) to make us care about the mirror universe again, again; and then "The Muse" can't figure out which really boring episode it wants to be: the dull one about Jake's battle with the mind vampire, or the dull one about Lwaxana Troi and Odo getting married. Before that, though, we talk about Dan Harmon's return to Community and Community's return to our televisions, plus a pretty good episode of Elementary that brings Moriarty back into the mix. Afterwards, we talk about Friday Night Lights and feel no sympathy for Buddy Garrity.Next week: LOST, with "The Little Prince," "This Place Is Death," and "316." Remember to make sure no one's taken the firing pin out of your rifle before you point at someone!
We're celebrating the holidays on the Podcastulacra this week, first with regular business: Deep Space Nine sees the formalization of labor relations in "Bar Association," the arrival of a savior (fitting) in "Accession," and an awesome non-warrior Klingon in "Rules of Engagement." Then, Friday Night Lights gets busy with "I Think We Should Have Sex," and we learn why Buddy Garrity has no friends. After that, we honor the season by gifting each other great Christmas episodes: J. makes Robby watch The X-Files again to discover exactly "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas," while Robby brings the Tony Clifton Taxi episode that wasn't, "A Full House for Christmas." Next week, we kick off the fifth season of LOST! with "Because You Left," "The Lie," and "Jughead." Watch out for flaming arrows!
For our first “post series” podcast we decided to take a stab our some of the Best & Worst of the entire series. And we decided to call them The Buddies in honor of (maybe) our favorite character, Buddy Garrity. We are sure that we probably left out a few things we should have included. […]
In this episode of Clear Eyes – Full Hearts we see Matt and Juile get caught in a compromising situation, Coach Taylor's lock at head coach seem to slip just a little bit, Buddy Garrity lose his money, his cool, and his daughter, and Landry Clarke stand up big time to Tyra. Listen and and […]
