In this sizzling hot takes episode, we dive into a wild mix of questions and opinions guaranteed to spark debate (and maybe a few laughs). What would you do if the guy who bullied you in high school showed up to open mat? Is No-Gi really easier—or just more practical for a street fight? Plus, we tackle the IBJJF scoring system, Masters divisions, and the ultimate mystery: Do aliens exist? Oh, and let's not forget a quick detour into Kangaroo Jack and why that movie might've broken trust forever. It's Episode #297, and nothing is off-limits! Would you believe me if I told you that the director of “Coyote Ugly” and the screenwriter of “Swordfish” made a movie about a kangaroo that accidentally steals $50,000? Would you believe me if I told you that this film was originally shot as an R-rated style comedy that included full frontal male nudity? I hope you do because the St. Johns are going down under to discuss the 2003 FAMILY FILM “Kangaroo Jack” and they brought along their kids with them to discuss farts, dingoes, and just what constitutes family entertainment. Two hundred episodes all about movies. That deserves somethings kind of special. Or, as they say in the land of surfing and wanna-be actors, special. So we decided to sit down and do what is considered one of the top films of all time. Kangaroo Jack. OK, no, we did The Godfather(1972). It's got a laundry list of actors you know, some before they were big enough to become parodies of themselves. Brando putting in a legendary performance that looms over everyone. A stray cat, just being a stray cat in the hands of the titular Godfather. A horses head in the bed of a Hollywood producer. Something that should … Continue reading "Popcorn Pulse 200: Godfatha"

Witness us go hopping mad as we endure the cinematic queef that is Kangaroo Jack (2003). Don't tell Estella Warren we said that, her Rapsheetipedia page is longer than the list of the world's deadliest snakes indigenous to Australia. And much like the senseless reversal of those snakes waking hours in the Kangaroo Jack Universe (KJU), this film is the inverse of the comedy adventure it claims to be. So, join us on the long ramble across the Aussie Outback where we might discover why a film quintessentially exclusive of a character named Kangaroo Jack is titled as such.Music created by Jack Parsons.Follow us on Twitter and check out our YouTube channel.
