00:00 Introductie

Disney fans rejoice! On this episode, my friend Robert joins me to talk about his first visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. Like all Disney fans, we have preconceived notions of what our experiences will be when visiting a Disney park for the first time. Listen to hear how it lived up to Robert's expectations as we discuss how to get to the resort, the later than expected opening time, how characters seem to be more popular than rides based on wait times, the shopping & food, why Hong Kong's Jungle Cruise is his favorite, the wow-factor of Mystic Manor, and what Robert thought of the park's newest land, World of Frozen. Whether you're thinking about visiting Hong Kong Disneyland yourself or simply living vicariously through Robert's journey, enjoy our conversation all about Hong Kong Disneyland. ------ GIVEAWAYS, BONUSES AND SUPPORT: Gain early access to episodes, take part in Ask Me Anything live streams, and gain more bonuses by joining the DCTC Patreon. In this episode, I chat with Brandon Beachum - an entrepreneur, thought leader, author, and host of The Positive Head Podcast, as well as the late-night style talk show, Optimystic. We're diving into a cosmic discussion about the power of mindset, the necessity of life's contrasts, and the beautiful struggle of self-realization. Brandon will walk us through his transformative journey from a conservative Christian upbringing to embracing a spiritual path filled with synchronicity and growth. Together, we'll explore the idea that challenges are not here to hinder us but rather to serve as the canvases on which we paint our experiences of love and personal evolution. Brandon will share insights into how loving oneself as the universe does can shift our stories and encourage us to falter, learn, and ultimately thrive. Brandon's going to tell us about the mystical experiences happening at the Mystic Manor, his vision for the Positive Head podcast, and his book "The Golden Key," which comes with a little something special for our listeners. And, as we peel back the layers of our psychology and societal norms, we question the labels we often thoughtlessly assign to our states of being. From the power of the words we speak to the vibrations that connect us all, this episode promises to be a shift in perspective that could very well change the way you navigate your journey through the cosmos. Joe Lanzisero began working at Disney as a Feature Animator just a few days after graduating from CalArts in 1979, working on movies like the Fox & and the Hound and The Great Mouse Detective. Less than a decade later, Joe made the jump to Walt Disney Imagineering, where he eventually rose to the rank of a Creative Senior Vice President. Perhaps what's most amazing about Joe is that his projects literally span the globe. He developed attractions at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. Some of Joe's most notable attractions include Toontown, Mystic Manor, Tower of Terror at Tokyo DisneySea, Grizzly Gulch, Toy Story Land (Hong Kong Disneyland), and more. After nearly three decades at Imagineering, Joe retired from Disney in 2015, but his work continues today through his own company, Lanzisero Creative. In this podcast episode, I chat with Joe about his early years growing up near Disneyland, his time at Disney Animation, and his many years at Imagineering, plus his work since retiring from Disney. Be sure to also follow Joe on Instagram for some inspiring and educational content about Disney and beyond. Which of Joe's attractions is your favorite? Happy Halloween Everyone! We wanted to stick with a spooky topic, so we picked the interesting and slightly spooky history of the cult classic ride, the Haunted Mansion. The conception and designing of this ride has a very compelling past and a shocking outcome. So definitely tune in! If you'd also like to know the comparisons of the overseas "Haunted Mansion" rides, we go over that, as well. Disneyland also increased their pricing, which is also a scary nightmare! Have a very safe and wonderful Halloween everyone. Happy Hauntings!
