Dillon & Sebastian cover ‘One Angry Lisa', an episode that, despite what the name may lead you to believe, is full of great Marge moments. We also talk about what happened to Dave Lynch after we recorded the last podcast, the show's big renewal, the Frying Game, and introduce our new questions segment, where we answer all your filthy questions, including horrible dump stories. It's a shitty one.
Back with a brand new season, and starting off strong with a killer guest to kick things off! Dillon, Sebastian & stand up comedian Dave Lynch cover Habeas Tortoise, an episode filled with conspiracy theories & tortoises (or is it turtles?). The already iconic trio also talk about meeting Hugh Grant, people who try too hard to pronounce things right, pitch a ‘Simpsons couple counselling' game & engage in a nerdy conversation about Formula 1. With two stand ups on the podcast, there's gotta be big comedy talk. The guys range from discussions on Jerry Seinfeld, constantly challenging your style & Dillon's fondness for roasting Dave onstage. Get those air buds on! The boys are back! We're doing some more classic mixes this season, and had a big plan to start it off right by doing another power hour with our bud Dave Lynch. Unfortunately, a couple of us were ridiculously hungover at the time of recording and were in no shape for such a feat, so the three of us instead recover and listen to the drinking songs we picked. And it's a good thing we didn't do a power hour, because these are not fun-time songs. Most of them are, in fact, about the sadder elements of drinking, from Kendrick Lamar's ominous warnings to Ernest Tubb's old-timey country binge drinking. But we do still find time for some Bad Bunny bangers and ICP favorites, along with a recommended spirit for each track.
It has recently been revealed that NZ Police falsely report cars as stolen in order to access vast networks of CCTV cameras. These false reporting tactics were used to hunt down the women involved in the October 2021 Northland lockdown investigation. Detective Superintendent for NZ Police, Dave Lynch, is here to explain. "We accept that the execution from the start in this case was poor, but ultimately what they did was lawful. And I think we need to put it in context. At the time we were in a lockdown, locating those individuals was one of our number one priorities." LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
