Live from the Heart of America—I'm Steve Gruber—ready to deliver an inclusive and diverse discussion on the most important topics of the day—giving you better analysis and insight that anyone else—shining a spotlight on the cockroaches of the swamp—and delivering truth and justice just when hope was starting to fade— Here are the 3 Big Things you need to know to start today— Number One— President Joe Biden is stumbling around Northern Ireland—and where he is going to be—could have been found by anyone—in the latest security breach— Number Two— American and British Special Forces are on the ground in Ukraine—to nobodys surprise—BUT they are only there to deal with inventory we are told—Yeah, right! Number Three— The attack on your way of life is continuing—and in fact it is picking up speed every day whether you realize it or not— I used to think that America would never support the Green New Deal and abortion up to the moment of birth—I still believe that—but the problem is—given just a very small opening—the Democrats don't care what most Americans think or want—they want what they want and are willing to do everything they can to secure it— We had American energy independence just 3 years ago—that was something I never thought we would achieve in this country—yet after years of hard work—American ingenuity and companies willing to invest what it would take we crossed into a net exporter of energy— But as soon as the Democrats got just a tiny majority in the House and Senate and a near vegetative simpleton in the White House—they went for it—all of it— Trust me when I tell you, once you hear something about some crazy leftist idea that makes no sense and you laugh it off—the Democrats and the financiers of such lunacy are already well down the road to making these things a reality— Take for example this whole idea of turning America—one of the largest pieces of real estate in the world into a place where only Electric Vehicles are driven— It is a totally ridiculous idea—that mathematically makes no sense at all—do you really think you are driving from Boston to St. Louis in an EV without stopping several times? How about Flagstaff to Minneapolis? No, of course not—BUT the Green New Dealers they see an opening—and they are vicious about the political agenda they have— Republicans are far too soft to do much good when it comes to guarding the fort of America—they are far too quick to fold— Do you ever remember Barack Obama folding? How about Nancy Pelosi? No, because the Democrats always act in concert—they work together to consolidate money and power and they always have— What you are seeing now—is decades of dedicated work coming together—because even though America is a center-right nation—and for a few more years we will be—the push, pull and drag mentality of the left is on the move— And the craziest part right now—is taking America's energy independence—and trading it in for a few Yuan—and selling us all down the road— America is not ready for EV's to dominate—our electric grid as we have seen a few times in recent years like in Texas during a bad winter storm cannot take it—or in California during a heat wave when Governor Green Bomb Newsome—told people—DO NOT charge your electric cars during the day— But none of that matters—they are on the Green New Deal super highway to nowhere—and they are more than happy to drive all of us over the cliff— and they are doing it while hilding the hand of the Chinese Communist Party— AND the really crazy part about all of it—is some of the zombies on the left that will blindly follow the agenda right into the depths of hell—know that these policies are stone cold losers—even ones that are living as one percenters—they are getting crushed financially—

Meet yourself. You are you're own hottest date ever. Discover who you really are. Ask questions about their goals, what they want in life, what they fear, what they regret, what they hope for. Ask them WHY. Dig in deep. Learn to appreciate that person. Respect him or her. Give time to understand his/her feelings without harshly criticizing or blaming them for their faults and mistakes. Encourage and compliment them. Tell them words of affirmation. Take them out to activities they enjoy and create lasting memories. That's how you love a person. That's how you love yourself. Look, I don't care if you are single, in a relationship, or in multiple relationships, whatever your situation is... ...the fact of the matter is you can't find love in someone else until you find love within yourself. Otherwise, what you're doing is called "worship", not love, and you are putting them above you. A healthy relationship is NOT about "two halves becoming a whole", it's about two wholes coming together. No person should ever "complete" you. You complete yourself. Whether you've been together with someone for 5 years or have been single for 10, mastering the art of self love is something you must do. For one thing, it makes life a lot more fulfilling and a heck of a lot easier. Instead of seeking to satisfy another person, you seek to satisfy yourself, meaning all your effort goes into your own happiness rather than someone else's. Save time and effort in relationships by loving yourself first. It is through achieving your own happiness that you'll attract someone that has managed to do the same (or encourage them to do so) and the relationship becomes a mutual project to grow together, rather than a source to "get high" on validation and shirking responsibility for your own emotions. Own your emotions and respond to them calmly. Validate yourself and don't seek it externally. The best relationship you can have is one with yourself. That's the one person who will always be there for you. Never forget that. Take it easy. This episode talks about the importance of giving out compliments more often than society does due to our own insecurities. It’s time to loosen up, if you acknowledge something about someone, compliment them and it’s that simple.

Conversation with Jan Johnson Amazing Snippets from Jan: Meditate on these Guest Snippets to see the useful wisdom that might come from God's voice and resonate with your heart and be implemented today on your journey. I wonder why the guy next door, who is pretty wicked, why does he have a great life and great kids and why is not my life any better? It's not about being partners with God and walking in his kingdom. It's like, okay I'm doing this, and okay, where's the payoff? People are just reading (the Bible) to get to the bottom of the page and playing games that they don't even know they're playing. So I do all the right things and then God is supposed to give me all this cool abundant life and I don't even know I'm playing it until my will life falls apart. I have this conversation with God in the morning and then we began throughout the day and then God does just the wildest things and I say, “I saw that, I saw that!” When you grow up in a lot of chaos you just try to control the world and it hurts the people you love. My job is to do whatever it looks like to connect with God today which may be to go on a walk and may be to just cry out to God all the things that are making me crazy. Where we get into trouble is we try to be good and we strain and struggle and everybody around us knows we are trying to be good and they wish we would just be ourselves. I like the phrase that God likes partners not puppets. So we are partnering with God and advancing the kingdom of God. We are partnering with God and what it is like to love people around us. The first one is about believing that God really loves me because I find that this is the central issue behind every problem we have. Tips for grieving through Mother’s Day Whether you want to acknowledge the day or want to ignore it, know that the lead up, for many people, is the worst part. It can help to make a plan for the days leading up to Mother’s Day. If you are supporting a grieving child, talk with them and their teacher ahead of time about possible activities at school. Work with the teacher and the child to come up with alternatives and options. Let children know they can still celebrate Mother’s Day - and that it’s okay if they don’t want to. Don’t force children to pick another adult to honor, unless it’s something they want to do. Know that there will be an inundation of advertisements in many places. If needed, come up with some strategies to navigate shopping and social media. Consider a social media fast for the day - or - plan what you want to post. Maybe choose a favorite picture and think ahead about what you want to write. Identify other women in your life you would like to celebrate- and - it’s okay if you don’t want to. Don’t pressure yourself to put someone in that role if it feels inconsiderate, impossible, or dishonoring of your mom. Plan something for yourself - massage, hike, brunch with friends, etc. Decide what environment you want to be in, knowing that you are likely to run into moms and families. Get together with or reach out to others who are grieving the loss of their mom. Focus on a category - say food, movies, activities, color, or music - choose a few from one or all the categories that your mom loved. Plan part or all of the day to do something with those elements. Maybe it’s eating a favorite meal while watching a loved movie and wearing their favorite color. This is a great one to include children. Volunteer - doing for others can often take us out of our own experience and create a sense of contribution, belonging, and connection.
