Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer and publisher based in Irvine, California. That black hole imaging that made the news this week could be another charade based on human preconceptions and less on scientific data...Frank and Mike explore the details...Julian Assange of Wikileaks infamy was removed from the Ecuadorian embassy to be charged with crimes. Was this event spontaneous as reported or was there a long-term plan that came together to catch Assange in a net of conspiracy? And how is Wikileaks linked to a destroyed base on the moon?If that's not enough, there are reports of China altering genes in Monkeys to be more human-like and growing human organs in Pigs for transplant...And to top off this ride on the crazy train, Frank and Mike have a look at reports of human screams, machine sounds, and other whacky noises originating from under regular run-of-the-mill homes. http://www.troubledminds.org Support The Show! https://rokfin.com/creator/troubledminds https://patreon.com/troubledmindshttps://www.buymeacoffee.com/troubledminds https://troubledfans.comShow Schedule Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs 7-9pst iTunes - https://apple.co/2zZ4hx6Spotify - https://spoti.fi/2UgyzqMStitcher - https://bit.ly/2UfAiMXTuneIn - https://bit.ly/2FZOErSTwitter - https://bit.ly/2CYB71U----------------------------------https://youtu.be/BIvezCVcsYshttps://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/320/cpsprodpb/F8C9/production/_106398636_mediaitem106398635.jpghttps://www.theverge.com/2019/4/13/18308652/katie-bouman-black-hole-science-internet----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6915023/How-Britain-Ecuador-U-S-plotted-six-months-Julian-Assange-arrested.htmlhttps://www.enca.com/business/imf-approves-42bn-loan-ecuadorhttps://old.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/bczow4/how_to_open_aes256_files_wikileaks_insurance_files/https://www.vox.com/2019/4/12/18307626/julian-assange-wikileaks-ecuador-cat-poophttps://neonnettle.com/news/7133-dead-man-s-switch-assange-arrest-triggers-speculation-of-wikileaks-data-dumpshttps://wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/P790005-1028_e.htmlhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_Treatyhttps://youtu.be/uEBetiMWDCYhttps://youtu.be/mfQXssakBlwhttps://youtu.be/cV6XXsI9Zio----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------https://bgr.com/2019/04/12/monkey-brain-experiments-human-genes/https://www.express.co.uk/news/science/848980/Human-pig-organ-HYBRID-organ-transplanthttps://phys.org/news/2018-02-successful-human-animal-hybrid-sheep-embryo.html----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------https://imgur.com/a/Ig1BfP6https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/couple-living-above-illegal-drug-14304280http://noisesinmylane.co.uk/https://www.change.org/p/the-commissioner-of-the-metropolitan-police-crime-underneath-my-basement-floorhttps://www.intellihub.com/i-was-shot-in-my-own-home-from-the-groundclaims-texas-homeowner-after-discovering-underground-tunnel/https://youtu.be/SxkfgbEbdMwhttps://youtu.be/ziKYqEL5u0whttps://youtu.be/kBV5la289X8https://wtop.com/montgomery-county/2018/05/court-docs-reveal-new-details-inside-bethesda-tunnel-house/
Sometimes, you need a little time travel in your life. This is an actual time travel situation because this show was recorded in January of 2019! The subject matter should be fine, but I can't vouch for Michael Strange of the past, that guy is super sketchy! I hope you enjoy this blast from the past...http://www.troubledminds.org Support The Show! https://rokfin.com/creator/troubledminds https://patreon.com/troubledmindshttps://www.buymeacoffee.com/troubledminds https://troubledfans.comRadio Schedule Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs 7-9pst - https://fringe.fm/iTunes - https://apple.co/2zZ4hx6Spotify - https://spoti.fi/2UgyzqMStitcher - https://bit.ly/2UfAiMXTuneIn - https://bit.ly/2FZOErSTwitter - https://bit.ly/2CYB71UFollow Algo Rhythm -- https://bit.ly/3uq7yRYFollow Apoc -- https://bit.ly/3DRCUEjFollow Ash -- https://bit.ly/3CUTe4ZFollow Daryl -- https://bit.ly/3GHyIaNFollow James -- https://bit.ly/3kSiTEYFollow Jennifer -- https://bit.ly/3BVLyCMFollow Joseph -- https://bit.ly/3pNjbzb Matt's Book -- https://amzn.to/3fqmRWgFollow MysticWook -- http://bit.ly/3J1uFdhFollow Nightstocker -- https://bit.ly/3mFGGtxRobert's Book -- https://amzn.to/3GEsFUKFollow TamBam -- https://bit.ly/3LIQkFw--------------------------------------------------
Seers and mystics have been around for as long as time. Most are full of it. What if some seers can actually tickle the Akashic record? Is this even possible? This is an oldie that we recorded back in 2019 and featuring the original co-host Frank. How to be an encourager.
We have an important chat at the top of the show about recent events. Then we dive deep into why Frank Pearce is leaving and what he might do now that he's gone. Big expansion leaks happened, maybe, and we nitpick around with a few of the details we think might hold water. The story of the next exp is full of old gods and tentacles. Sigma seems cool, Qhira is awesome, and we talk about why no ads for classic yet.
Medros, Toasty, and Ali are back to talk about Frank Pearce leaving Blizzard, the current state of the World First Race, and more
Our main topic this week is time manipulation in games! What games have done this the best? What could devs improve upon in the future? Trending news includes Alinity and her cat, the Google Stadia AMA, and Frank Pearce is leaving Blizzard. Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/arcadianmedia)
**Recorded on July 20th, 2019** Welcome to another episode of the Spectator Podcast, the Outerhaven's weekly podcast where we talk the latest news, topics and everything else that's video games. It's been quiet since in the video game news department ever since E3 2019 ended. So we figured we'd enjoy some of this downtime and talk about our favorite game of 2019. That's right, we put Josh, Karl and Diego in the hot seat and listen as they tell us what they favorite game of 2019. Everyone's interested in both the new Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, so we break that down. We also touch on the collapse of Blizzard and then depart of co-founder Frank Pearce, who had been with Blizzard for 28 years. Then we end it off with listening to Karl talk about all and those lovely toys that were on display during the 2019 San Diego Comic-con. That and more on this episode of Spectator Mode Podcast. In George Orwell’s 1984, the Ministry of Truth was a department of the government responsible for propaganda, lies, and deception. It was involved with news media, entertainment, the fine arts, and educational books. Its purpose was to rewrite history and change facts to fit government doctrine. The book describes the Ministry of Truth doctoring historical records and changing the news to present a government approved version of events. On this episode, Frank Pearce and Michael Strange delve into the workings of the ministry of truth… in today’s society! It appears that modern day governments and corporations have taken the fictional concept of the Ministry of Truth and, using 1984 as an instruction manual, have started to implement its principles in politics and business.
Join the Acquired Limited Partner program! https://kimberlite.fm/acquired/ (works best on mobile) Ben & David cover the creation of the gaming world’s equivalent of the 70’s rock supergroup: the 2008 merger of Blizzard and Activision. We tell the story from the Blizzard perspective, tracing the history of one of the most innovative companies in the business from humble beginnings at the hands of UCLA undergrads, to surviving multiple acquisition rollups (including at one point being owned by the French national water company), to joining ultimately with Activision to form the largest gaming company in the world, all while inventing multiple game genres that define the industry as we know it today. Click here to take the 2017 Acquired Survey. It takes 5-10 minutes, and you may win a pair of AirPods (woo!) Topics covered include: Blizzard’s founding in 1991 as "Silicon & Synapse” by recent UCLA grads Allen Adham, Frank Pearce, and Mike Morhaime The team’s first projects making ports for other games, including Battle Chess on the Commodore 64 Early success on the Super Nintendo with Rock & Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings Origin of the Real-Time Strategy game genre (“RTS”) and Blizzard’s fist mega-hit, Warcraft Blizzard’s crazy corporate ownership changes over the years Development of further legendary game franchises like Diablo and Starcraft, along with sequels to Warcraft and the rise of the rise of player modding Emergence of the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena genre (“MOBA”) from the Warcraft III modding community, and its growth into one of the biggest sectors in the games and esports industries today Blizzard’s role in developing the concept of online gaming, from early hacks to play against friends to World of Warcraft and Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (“MMORPG’s”) The 2008 merger with storied gaming company Activision Growth and success since the merger, including the launch of new game franchises Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch The Carve Out: Ben: Dick Costolo on Vanity Fair’s Inside the Hive podcast David: Nellie and Joe's 100% Natural Key Lime Juice (tip: buy in bulk from Walmart/Jet) Sponsor: Thanks to Silicon Valley Bank for sponsoring this episode.
