Yes, it's a wrestling reference given that the only two on here for this show have names that start with A. And yes, this show is late, once again due to a more-than-hectic week. Apologies for the not-great scheduling, but we're working in the background to get things more stable. Also, there's a thing happening on November 5, so maybe do it either on that date or before - you all know what the thing is, it doesn't need to be said. Anyway, we've got an abbreviated recap of the summer season, thoughts on Look Back and MHA: You're Next, a major shift for GKIDS, and the biggest change to the One Piece anime yet - that's all in the first hour, and there's plenty from NYCC to dive into, both good and not-as-good. Convention season is wrapping up and we've got some bangs to go out on, for sure. We'll be back with the fall dub cast rundown next time, after... you know, the thing happens. Please make sure the good thing happens, folks. intro - schedule's still screwy 10:13 - best and worst of summer (from AniChart) 27:55 - main stories 1:17:06 - New York Comic-Con 2:15:18 - and the rest 2:26:08 - home video releases 27:55 - Look Back is incredible (and on Prime Video on November 7) 34:42 - MHA: You're Next is more of the same 39:01 - TOHO International acquires full equity stake in GKIDS 48:48 - My Hero Academia's “final season” slated for 2025 51:24 - the One Piece anime is changing in a big way 57:27 - The Colors Within film coming to theaters in January 59:23 - Hideaki Anno and Khara making a Space Battleship Yamato film project 1:01:10 - Viz announces several big book pickups (Steel Ball Run) 1:17:06 - Lazarus previewed at NYCC 1:20:10 - Toonami has things in November (Invincible Fight Girl, Mashle, Blue Exorcist) 1:29:02 - new Kodansha book pickups 1:41:35 - new Square Enix book pickups 1:47:40 - new Yen Press book pickups 2:01:50 - The Beginning After the End anime announced 2:03:23 - Viz has the YAIBA anime and some more book pickups 2:06:04 - GO FOR IT, NAKAMURA! anime announced, all is good 2:08:48 - other Crunchyroll announcements 2:11:29 - what's up with the new Zenshu PV? 2:15:18 - Yen Press simul-publishing the new Haruhi Suzumiya light novel digitally 2:15:58 - Glitter Force and Voltron LD leaving Netflix? 2:17:48 - SK8 the OVA finally coming in the winter 2:19:17 - HiDive locks in Otaku NEET Kunoichi 2:19:51 - the next Gintama spinoff is coming next October 2:20:49 - a pair of Doga Kobo BL anime are coming 2:22:58 - the new Aquarion anime starts in January 2:23:44 - AnimEigo gets a niche film license 2:26:08 - Naruto full series Blu-ray box coming in January 2:26:55 - Aniplex December releases (Rascal, Blue Exorcist) 2:28:10 - Crunchyroll January releases (a lot of isekai, Horimiya, Apothecary Diaries) Apple Podcasts – https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/podcastona/id1348141210?mt=2 Spotify – https://open.spotify.com/show/2JZLO3LfoeHepomejTw4TP iHeartRadio – https://www.iheart.com/podcast/256-podcastona-43099114/ TuneIn – https://tunein.com/podcasts/Podcasts/PodcastONA-p1249922/ Where to find us: Alex – @Xander_Thoughts Andrew – @MangaMan9000, youtube.com/DubTalk As always, check out surrealresolution.com for more content, and follow @SurrealReso for more updates on the show, our continued news posts, reviews, and our fellow podcasts.

Also, Alice summons a giant Lance (much cuter in the original japanese audio than in the Glitter Force version), the girls get VORED, Mana does a super cool slow-motion ballerina kick, Rikka performs a FRIGGEN CHIAOTZU (don't worry, she's fine), and Bel gets shrunk to the size of a mouse. Delicious Party We also get the final battle of Delicious Party. In which we get some incredible fight choreography for Mari & Finale versus Godatz, the miraculous power of the lucky cats, and Godatz turns into a... well, some kind of animal. Secretoru seems to have hit it off with Kokone's mom, and Narcistoru actually helps the PreCure team. He can learn!

Also Gula and Leva are now married and we wish them all the best. Delicious PartyYui and a princess from a nearby nation decide to reenact Barbie's Princess and the Pauper. Yui is super adorable, Takumi is once again left out of the hijinx, and Cure Precious thwarts a kidnapping attempt?!?

Giant Sized Violence is back with our most exciting episode yet! We're taking a look at the next major toku-inspired book from Image Comics, Dead Lucky! Joining us to discuss the book is none other than the author herself, Melissa Flores! We talk at length not only about her upcoming comic, but also her 10 years as a producer on Power Rangers, as well as her work on other shows like Glitter Force and The Unleashed. Dead Lucky tells the story of Bibi, a queer, mixed race, veteran struggling with PTSD who uses her super powers and a giant robot to fight tech-bros and criminals in a dystopian San Francisco. The book takes place in the Massive-Verse alongside other Image favorites like Radiant Black and Rogue Sun, and features yet another one-of-a-kind hero and incredible stylized art! Dead Lucky will be hitting shelves August 3rd, the cut-off for pre-orders is July 11th. Trust us when we say this is a book you won't want to miss!
