Known to millions for his signature style, Savage gives his raw take on the news of the day. Then, switching to the spiritual, he asks, "Where is God?" Why Biden has commenced chaos on America and the world; funding war as Ukrainians suffer and die. Biden supports the puppet Zelensky who is controlled by the Nazi Azov Battalion. Why is Hollywood behind inept Biden? The media is complicit in our demise as they perpetuate lies. George Soros is the Rasputin of America. People are tuning out the news. Is God judging America? How can we survive? Savage turns to the Bible for healing and strength. Without God we would be in worse shape. He explains that despite his sins, God led the life of King David to establish his eternal dynasty. Despite our own sins, God can lead us to establish his eternal order. He shares the words of Jeremiah The Prophet and an incredible story about a rabbi who was spared by a God-fearing Bolshevik. Like the prophets of old, Savage delivers a stirring rebuke of the wicked rulers of our day. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

église AB Lausanne ; KJV Jeremiah 50 The word that the LORD spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet. Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast. In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers. Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks. For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain. And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the LORD. ...

église AB Lausanne ; KJV Jeremiah 47 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl. At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands; Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor. Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself? O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still. How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it. ...

église AB Lausanne ; KJV Jeremiah 46 The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles; Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaoh-necho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah. Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle. Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines. Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD. Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates. Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers? Egypt riseth up like a flood, and his waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof. Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow. For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates. ...

Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. église AB Lausanne ; KJV Jeremiah 29 Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon; (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;) By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. Jeremiah is not a book we usually turn to for our Bible reading even though one of the verses we quote and hear quoted often is Jer. 29.11. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” However, not only is Jeremiah filled with beautiful verse and amazing metaphors, but there is also much that we can learn from Jeremiah's painful life and his hard message to the people of Judah. We will explore these two themes on Sunday.
In this podcast you will hear about the last king of Judah, Zedekiah. Jeremiah constantly warns him to surrender to Babylon and live as God directs. Listen to see what the king decides to do about it

Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Jeremiah the prophet lived during the time of kings Josiah, Jehoiakim, and Zedekiah ... unto the carrying away of the children of Judah unto captivity in Babylon. Jeremiah 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. Jeremiah saw some very terrible things happen to the nation of Judah. Jeremiah was ordained as a prophet of God and carried warnings to the people of God both before and after the captivity of Judah.

Jeremiah issues warning to King Zedekiah
Jeremiah's prophecy concerning the new covenant is perhaps one of the most important in all of Scripture. We look at Jeremiah's prophecy in its historical and literary context and then briefly trace its fulfillment in Jesus and his followers as explained in the New Testament. God doesn't always ask us to do easy things. Sometimes he asks us to do things that threaten our comfort, security, or approval of others. The call of Jeremiah is unique, but it also gives us a pattern of responding to the costly call of following God.

This is an episode from the life Jeremiah the Prophet and some of the adversities he had to overcome. One of the challenges he received concerns all people who consider themselves 'spiritual' - how do we know if we are hearing from God.
Ezekiel the young prophet was deeply influenced by Jeremiah The Prophet. It was Jeremiah who had foretold that rebellious Jerusalem would be exiled to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar, and it was Ezekiel who witnessed the fulfilment of this firsthand.
The story of an Ethiopian soldier caught in battle by his enemies, who is then castrated, becomes the hero and a model of manliness in the story of Jeremiah The Prophet. There were many men during this time who had all their masculine faculties (unlike the Ethiopian, Ebed-Melech), yet they did not possess the same level of manhood courage that this eunuch, Ebed-Melech had. Manliness is thus more than the sum of your testosterone levels! Listen to this presentation to discover the attributes of a real man.
During the days of Jeremiah The Prophet, just as in our present day, there were false prophets who pretended to be in God's will, who told people what they wanted to hear. This is from the Jeremiah Series (Part 106) - Do Not Deceive Yourselves - REVIVAL MIGHT NOT BE COMING! The lessons from this section of Jeremiah are remarkably applicable for today.
This is a recap of the second section of the Book of Jeremiah up to chapter 28. The Book and Prophet Jeremiah are still uncannily relevant for today some two and a half millennia later!
What is freedom? For some it's about rebellion. Jeremiah the Prophet had something very profound to say to Israel about their concept of 'freedom'. This was recorded before a live audience on April 24th 2010.
There was something about Jeremiah that was reflected in Jesus Christ. When Jesus asked "Who do people say that I am?" His audience responded, "Jeremiah." Let's explore why. This audio was recorded 18th April 2010 before a live audience.
Jeremiah delivers the Word of the Lord to Israel and reminds them that God had called them to be holy. To be holy is to be different, but a special kind of different. This was recorded before a live audience April 11th 2010
