In November of 2023, Nintendo announced that they would be putting on a live action movie rendition of The Legend of Zelda. Potential Zelda casting started to circulate and many believed it would be Hunter Shafer, a trans-woman. However, Wednesday, Nintendo announced that Bo Bergason would be playing Zelda. Many cheered because it's such an accurate cast, but there were many who were stuck in delusion that believed a man could play a woman's roll better and said that Hunter Shafer deserved it. Adam's Apple and all. However, from the same crowd who cancelled actors over blackface and sought to ruin lives over past comments, the left is now saying that Bo Bergason deserves hatred and the executives at Nintendo deserve to die. All because a woman was cast for a woman's role in a movie.
