Building your house on the word from God

(This podcast was previously published on June 18, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Proverbs 3   19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath HE established the heavens.   20 By HIS knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.   21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:   22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.   23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.   24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.   We have access to God's wisdom at all times and in all things.  All we need to do is ask God for wisdom in the issues of this life.   James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  

(This podcast was previously published on June 16, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   So many people want to be wise of themselves and have other people praise them for their wisdom.  Not only is this way very dangerous, but it can be deadly to us.   God knows the future.   If we try to plan out things without asking God, we can easily destroy ourselves with the unexpected.   Proverbs 14:12  There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.   Concerning wisdom:   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   God knows the future!   So often a person who plans without consulting God will later say, "If only that hadn't happened."  

(This podcast was previously published on June 14, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   Everything depends on this:  "Was it God telling me to do this thing?"   How do you know it was God?   If it was God telling you to do this, you can go forward in confidence.   Joshua 1:9  God says:  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.   If God confirms to you that "this" is what HE wants you to do, then you can go forward with assurance knowing the following.   Proverbs 21:30-31  There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.  

(This podcast was previously published on June 13, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   If we have the Word of God on the subject, that is all we need!  We can go forward securely when we have heard from God.   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   Proverbs 21:30-31   There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.  The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.   If God has told us something, there is no counsel against that Word.   Example:  A word from God to me concerning a court trial:  "Don't testify"  and how everyone around me fought against that word given to me by God.  

(This podcast was previously published on, June 8, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Sometimes we are bringing problems upon ourselves.   I did this as a new Christian.  And I suffered more than I had to suffer until I recognized that I was causing the problem to come upon me.   (On this Podcast I will tell of this situation and how I got free.)   Psalm 107   4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.   5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.   6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE delivered them out of their distresses.   7 And HE led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.   8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men!   9 For HE satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.   10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;   11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:   17  Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.   19-20  Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saveth them out of their distresses.   HE sent HIS word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.   Remember to pray, asking God to give you wisdom before you do anything.   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

(This podcast was previously published on June 19, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.   Psalms 34:19  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.   Isaiah 45:7  God says:  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.   God will not allow more to come upon us than we are able to handle through HIM.   I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.   Proverbs 3:25-26  Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.   Psalm 148:8  Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling HIS word:   James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  

(This podcast was previously published on June 17, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   As born again Christians, we have access to wisdom from God.  This makes all the difference for those of us who understand this and call on God for HIS wisdom in the issues of this present life.   Proverbs 3   13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.   14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.   15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.   16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.   17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.   18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.   Nothing equals wisdom that comes to us from God by HIS Spirit!   James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   Psalm 111:10   The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.

(This podcast was previously published on, June 6, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   One day I was watching the evening news on TV, and I saw that the newscaster just couldn't wait to get to the next sensational story to stir up the flesh of man to evil.   Later I saw this scripture and set myself to do this scripture, avoiding the evil of the newscast and of other people who would stir me up to evil.   Proverbs 1   10   If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.   15 Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:   16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.   After that, I kept this scripture before me day and night so I could evaluate those persons who were stirring me up wrongly and could avoid such people.   The apostle Paul says:   2 Timothy 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.   7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.   ***   This is critical:  Pray, asking God for wisdom in that which you are thinking of doing.   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   ***   I Corinthians 10:13   There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.  

(This podcast was previously published on, May 24, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Things to consider as consequences of having an abortion:   * You will be destroying a part of your own flesh, your own child.  By doing this you destroy not only your child but a part of your own self, and you will never fully recover but will carry this the remainder of your life, for a part of you will have been destroyed.  It is a memory you will not likely extinguish.   * And another burden:  At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh.  So you have already committed to being one flesh with that man by having sexual intercourse with him, for as long as either of you live on this earth you will be one flesh by this act of sexual intercourse for this is the way God created this.  You will find it is not so easy to eliminate that sexual partner either.   I Corinthians 6:15-18   Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   (Even if a man has sex with a prostitute he becomes one flesh with that prostitute.)   18  Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   You fragment yourself each time you have sex with another person.  You may try to escape this, but God ordained that the two become one flesh at the time of sexual intercourse and you cannot change this fact for it is as surely set as the sun is set by God in the sky.   Abortion will just add to your own torments.   But there are even greater things to consider:  Sinning against God and upsetting the course of the way God ordained for this earth and for humans who live on this earth.   God's plan is as follows:   Mark 10  Jesus says:   6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.   7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;   8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.   9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   God joined the two together at the time of sexual intercourse.  Casual sex cannot be casual.   *****   Other scriptures to consider:   Psalm 127:3  Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is HIS reward.   YOU sin against God if you destroy your own child.  For you destroy the heritage of God.   Proverbs 17:6  Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.   You upset the course of your own world as ordained by God for the people in this world, and this will further destroy you.  Not only do you commit murder, but you stop the heritage of the Lord for all your family: You hurt many other people: your parents who would be denied the right to be grandparents and have God's heritage.  If you have brothers or sisters, you also deny them their rightful heritage to have a niece or nephew.  And if you have other children, you deny their heritage by killing their brother or sister.   You end up harming everyone in your path ... and you will destroy a part of your own self also!   And your choice will likely carry into all eternity.   II Corinthians 5:10-11   For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.   11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;   ***   And the apostle Paul shows how terrible it can be for women to be "free" to run about from house to house.   I Timothy 5:13-15   And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.   14 I will therefore that the younger women  (who are widows) marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.   15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.  

(This podcast was previously published on February 23, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   An agent from the Michael Ellison Advertising Agency told me this in 1980, concerning their former client, Jimmy Swaggart.   Swaggart came to the agency because he was unhappy with the small number of people who were coming to his meetings.   The agency told Swaggart:  "To get bigger crowds, stop preaching so much, and put more singing into your meetings."   (Swaggart was a country western type singer.)   Swaggart did what the advertising agency said to do and the audiences changed from about 500 to thousands.   Present entertainment to the people rather than preaching the Word of God, and your audiences will grow, but both you and your followers will go into damnation for lack of the pure Word of God.   This is all antichrist!   II Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.   (They and their followers perish.)   Matthew 16:26   Jesus says:  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?   ***   This same advertising agency told me:  "We can fill Soldiers and Sailors Auditorium in Pittsburgh for you, all you have to do is don't say anything unpopular on your radio broadcasts."   I am a prophet of Jesus.   When God showed me to begin to speak judgment messages, warning the church, radio stations began threatening me and some started putting me off the air.   The radio station manager at Seattle said to me, "Joan ... you have many wonderful messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you keep speaking these judgment messages, I don't know what is going to happen to you.  We might have to put you off the air."   The Holy Spirit spoke through me:  "George ... if I don't speak the message that I believe to be from God then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air."   ***   The apostle Paul said:   Galatians 1:10   For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.  

(This podcast was previously published on, June 4, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Psalm 111:10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.   What is "The fear of the Lord"?   When we "fear the Lord", we know that God knows all things, (present, past, and future).  We are afraid to go against that which God tells us,  for we know we bring destruction upon ourselves if we depart from the law and wisdom of God to go in the way of men or to do that which we prefer doing.   Therefore, "the fear of the Lord"  keeps us in the path of God.   Truly, "the fear of the Lord" is the beginning of wisdom.   When a man sees this word which Jesus said,   "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."  (Matthew 5:32)   That man who sees this word of Jesus and has "a fear of the Lord" will not dare to divorce a faithful wife for he knows if he chooses to go against what Jesus says, he will bring destruction upon himself and destroy himself on this earth and he will not prosper in his way.  Even when he seems to prosper, he will be destroyed in the time to come.   When a man is looking for a wife and sees this word which Jesus spoke, and that man has "a fear of the Lord", that man will not even date the woman who has been divorced for fear that he might end up marrying her and bringing destruction upon himself by choosing to go in a way opposite to that which Jesus said in the Holy Bible.   Therefore "the fear of the Lord" keeps us from going in a way of destruction which is opposite to that which God said to us.  

(This podcast was previously published on, June 3, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Joseph's brothers were envious of him and they sold him into slavery when he was only 17-years-old!   But God caused Joseph to prosper everywhere he went.   Genesis 39   1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.   2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.   3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.   4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.   5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.   6 And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.   *****   Genesis 39   7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.   8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;   9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?   10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.   11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.   12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.   13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,   14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:   15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.   16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home.   17 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:   18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.   19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.   20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.   21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.   22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.   23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.   Later Joseph said this to his brothers who had sold him into slavery:   Genesis 50:20  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 31, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   John 14:1-6  Jesus says ...  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in ME.  In MY Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.   4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.   5 Thomas saith unto HIM, Lord, we know not whither THOU goest; and how can we know the way?   6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.   The way is "The Word" of God.  When we hear from God the Father, we have "The Word" which is the way to God.   Jesus is The Word.  From the beginning Jesus was "The Word".  Jesus was with God as "The Word" even before Jesus came to this world in the form of Jesus a man.   Today, Jesus is The Word that was with God from the beginning.   John 1:1-5   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.  In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.   5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.   10-14  HE  (Jesus)  was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not.   11 HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not.   12 But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on HIS name (The Word):   13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.   *****   Galatians 5  (works of the flesh vs. works of the Spirit)   19-21   Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.   24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.   25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  (following that which the Spirit shows us to do at that specific point in time.)  

(This podcast was previously published on November 24, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Both Peter and Jude warned us there would be false teachers among the churches in the end times.  (II Peter 2 & Jude)   Jesus also warned us about the people who come to us in the last days, saying,  "Jesus is Lord."  Because they say HE is Christ, they will deceive many.  (Matthew 24:1-4)   In November, 2020, a man sent me an email identifying himself to me as being a pastor.   He told me how much he liked my book, Preparing Yourself for the Return of Jesus.  (Amazon)   He asked me to send him more books for his church and for his pastors.   I explained that Amazon does not give me books and that he would have to get my books directly from Amazon.   I also explained that Amazon allows us to give free e-books which he would need to order from Amazon.   In his next letter, he signed his name "Reverend".   I responded by telling him no man should call himself "Reverend".   Jesus called HIS ministers as follows:   Ephesians 4:11-12  And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;   For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:   There is only one time the word "Reverend" is used in the Bible.   Psalm 111:9 HE (God) sent redemption unto HIS people: HE hath commanded HIS covenant for ever: holy and reverend is HIS (God's) name.   This man responded immediately saying he agreed and he would remove the name "Reverend" and tell his pastors to remove the name "Reverend" and he was sorry he had done this.   But he twisted everything and said we should not use the name "Pastor" either.   I told him immediately that it is proper to use the name "Pastor" for Jesus HIMSELF called HIS ministers by the names:  apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher  (Ephesians 4:11)   But not "Reverend".   *****   The next letter he sent to me he signed his name, "Evangelist".   I wrote to him immediately, trying to straighten this out.   I tried to help him see the difference between Evangelist and Pastor in the calling of Jesus.   Evangelist goes from city to city speaking to the world salvation through Jesus.   Pastor usually works with one church group in one city, giving them teachings from the Bible.   ***   In his next letter, he signed his name, "Brother in Christ".   In that letter he asked me to pray that God would provide for him a computer and a projector.   He explained that it was very hard to share my teachings with his church group without a projector.   I sent him the following letter.   Matthew 11 Jesus says:  HIS yoke is easy.  So if something is difficult you can know you are trying to do something you should not be doing.   Therefore if it is hard to share my teachings, just share Bible.   Joan Boney   ***   In his next email, he asked me to send him a computer and a projector.   I responded:  "If I were you, I would get a part time job or a job at night and work until I had enough money to buy a computer and projector."  Joan Boney   ***   He responded that he could not do secular work because it took all his time to do the ministry work.   I thought of the apostle Paul who did secular work as a tent maker and still went from church to church speaking as an apostle and teacher.   In this letter, he asked me if I would send him a computer that we are not using.   ***   I turned to God and asked God:  "What do YOU want me to do?"   I had the answer rather quickly.   I sent email to this man as follows:   "I see you as a beggar, thief, and extortioner.  And if you choose to go this way, you doom yourself to always being a beggar, thief, and an extortioner."  Joan Boney   (It was clear that this man did not turn to God over his needs but turned to humans for them to supply his needs.)   ***   The apostle Paul says:   I Corinthians 5:11  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.   13  put away from among yourselves that wicked person.   This is what I will do with this man.   *****   In this man's first letter to me, he placed an attachment showing an outline of subjects and scriptures which he planned to teach to his church group the next Sunday.   How could a man this confused in thinking write such a clear, concise outline?  I wondered.   Then I realized he probably didn't write that outline.  It was probably another person's outline which he planned to teach to his church group.   *****   This is just one example of how very mixed up preachers are today in church groups.   When a man has no understanding, I do not believe "that man" is from God.   When we have the Spirit of Truth in us, HE will teach us all things, remind us of all that Jesus has said to us, guide us into all truth, and show us things to come.   John 14:26  Jesus says:   But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY  name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Jesus says:  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 23, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Something happened on 5-19-2021 that was very unexpected!   I live in the home of Pam Padgett from our little church group.   Pam discovered water coming from her water heater into the basement and she arranged for a plumber to bring her a new water heater and install it that same day.   Plumber noticed my old car sitting in driveway and he said,  "If you ever wanted to sell it, I would be  very interested in buying it."  He has a 12 year old son who has CP (cerebral palsy),  and he needed a bigger car.  At this point he doesn't have a car but they use his plumbing trucks to get around.  It is hard for his son to get into those vehicles so he wanted a car that sits lower to the ground.   After he changed the water heater, he took the car out for a test drive.  The car runs great so I knew there would be no problem.  It is a 1994 Lincoln Town Car ... huge trunk which can easily carry his son's wheelchair.   The car was no burden to us but it had to sit outside all the time and I really wanted the car to have a place in winter, although it managed 2 winters just fine and we never had any problem at all starting car.   While he was test driving the car, I had decided that if he made an offer on the car, I was going to give him the car.   I told Pam to bring him in to see me if he made an offer.   He told Pam he wanted the car and he said "Why don't you take the water heater and then I'll also give you some cash for the car."   Pam said, "You need to see Joan."   He presented the water heater plan to me and I said, "No, I want to give you the car."   He was very shocked!   I said, "We can afford to pay for the water heater.  You just take the car."   I told him we would pay him for the water heater and for him to just take the car for his son.   He just couldn't believe this was happening.  He said no one had ever given him anything before.   He said he would tell his son I had given him the car.   I said, "No ... tell your son God gave him the car.  For I had just asked God what HE wanted me to do about the car."   He said he knew when he got home his son would be outside polishing the car immediately (he can't walk but he has use of hands)   His dad said he thinks the son will be able to drive that car for he has use of his right leg and right hand.  So dad will start teaching him to drive, and when he is little older he should be able to get a driver's licenses even though he can't walk.   (That's going to be one happy kid!)   Dad said they go up in the mountains every week end and he was sure they would take the car up there this week end.   I'm glad for the car!  We had to take car out about every two weeks for a "walk" just to keep up battery and tires.   Last time we went to get food, I noticed the old car which was parked in the driveway and saw  how low to ground it had gotten and I told Pam it was time again to take the car for a walk.   Pam said we just got car license registration notice a couple of days ago and she hadn't sent in the fee yet.  (only $70)   The plumber said he noticed in the car a book with my name on it and he asked if he could take that book with the car.  (And I had already told Pam to give him "Building your house on the word of God.")  Of course he can have both books.   I wrote out the name of our blog and also told him of Podcasts.   He asked, "Do you do the recordings?"   I said, "Yes" and pointed to the microphone which sits by me.   I had just asked God a few days ago if there was anything I should do with the car.  Insurance is only $100 per year as attached to Pam's insurance.  So there was never any pressure to get rid of the car.   It's just that I hated to have car just sitting there unused.   It's fun for me to think of the car having a good home and getting to go out for rides and even getting to go into mountains.   I had him take my Texas license plates off the car and leave them for me.  They were expired but we had not changed to Colorado (we had current Colorado plates in the car trunk).   It will be fun for me to think of his son with the car.   The dad is only 48 but he looks a lot younger.   He told me he spent 18 years in the Navy ... broke his neck ... had to retire from Navy ... got a job at Fort Carson Army base ... was making $100,000 a year.  But he never got to see his son or daughter because he got home so late.  So he quit his job and decided to put in his own plumbing business.  He was scared at first but it has worked out well for him.  He said his dad had a plumbing business and he had worked as a plumber since he was 8 years old so he decided to give it a try.   I told him if he and children were ever in neighborhood, come in.   (I could see a few things about the moving of God which I will explain in this Podcast.)  

(This podcast was previously published on May 28, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The shepherd of the sheep has a cane with a hook on one end whereby he can grab stray sheep and pull those sheep back to places of safety.  Otherwise when that sheep wanders off the path, a lion might feast on that sheep.   I Peter 5:7-9  Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.   God's rod and staff that keep us on the highway of God are the Holy Scriptures, the Word from God.  The scriptures are the highway signs showing us the way to go if we drift off the road.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 16, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Who is antichrist?  Is antichrist one man as churches have taught for centuries?  Does antichrist come through governments of men?   The New Testament Bible answers each of these questions.   The apostle John spoke of antichrist and explained the following to the church of his time.   I John 2:18-19  John said:  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.   The apostle John has just explained that the last days began immediately after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.  The antichrists were many in the churches.   When they could not take over the churches, they departed, showing themselves to be antichrist.   Many antichrists set up their own church denominations, departing from many scriptures.   The apostle Paul told the elders of the church at Ephesus the following:   Acts 20:29-30   For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.   Though there were already antichrists in the early church, Paul told them things would get worse before Jesus returned.   2 Timothy 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. ... 13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.   2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   Paul shows us that antichrist comes through the churches as they fall away from scripture and set up other doctrines which are contrary to the doctrines of Christ which are shown us in the Holy Bible.   In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the church groups.  The falling away are the church groups leaving the scriptures"   This "falling away" by church groups from scriptures has gotten worse and worse through the centuries.   The churches today sing songs, and say "Jesus is Lord", and omit portions of NT scripture, and explain away portions of scripture.   This is the apostasy, antichrist in the churches in the various denominations of today.   This apostasy in the churches had to happen before Jesus could return for the elect of God to take them off this present earth before God destroys this heaven and earth.   2 Timothy 4:2-4  Paul speaking to Timothy:  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.   3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;   4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.   The apostasy has already happened in the churches all over this world.  Portions of scripture are removed from their doctrines.   *****   Consider the following scriptures, cited on this Podcast, which are often omitted or even explained away from today's church whereby they set up doctrine contrary to NT Bible.   ***   Concerning divorce and remarriage:   Matthew 5:32  Jesus said:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   * The faithful wife who has been divorced by her husband will commit adultery if she remarries after divorce. * But that husband who divorced the faithful wife will be the cause of her adultery. * The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.   I Corinthians 7:10-11  A commandment of the Lord for the NT church ... And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   I Corinthians 7:39   The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.   Romans 7:2-3   For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.   So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.   I Corinthians 6:15-16  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   Mark 10   Jesus said:   6-9   But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;  And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.  What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   11  And HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   ***    Concerning homosexuals and lesbians:   Romans 1:26-28   For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   In February 2021, a Baptist pastor of a church in Georgia, USA, announced on CNN and on USA Today that homosexuals and lesbians are welcomed at his church.  The Southern Baptist Convention put that church out of their association.   In May, 2021, a group of Catholic priests in Germany "blessed" one sex unions against the current ruling of the Vatican. (reported on CNN)   The wickedness of man on this earth increases in the last days, according to the apostle Paul.   2 Timothy 3   1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,   3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,   4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;   5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.   (They love their church buildings but they do not love the Word of God.)   7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.   13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.   14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of WHOM thou hast learned them;   15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.   ***   Concerning the qualifications for elders/bishops in the churches:   Titus 1:4-11  (Paul speaking to Titus)   4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.   5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:   6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.   7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;   8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;   9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.   10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:   11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.   (We see by above scripture that elder and bishop are the same office and these titles are used interchangeably.)   I Timothy 3   1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.   2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;   3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;   4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;   5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)   6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.   7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.   8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;   9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.   10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.   11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.   12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.   ***   Concerning what we are to do when we gather as the church:   I Corinthians 14:26   How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.   ***   The poison gas dream of 1979:   God gave me the following dream:   Destruction was everywhere.   In this dream, a man was speaking to a group of people.  I sat down and began to listen.   Another man rushed into the room and said:  "Stop ... wait ... can't you see ... it's too late ... it's already begun."   That man disappeared and the first man resumed speaking to the people.   No one in the room paid any attention at all to the man who said it had already begun nor did they seem to care what it was that had already begun.   But I wanted to know what it was that had already begun.   So I looked out of the windows to see.   There was a tall pole and on top of this pole was a yellow civil defense type warning speaker.  Out of the speaker was coming a gas and I knew this gas was poisonous and I knew it would kill the people.  It was coming directly toward that room where we were gathered.   The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there to warn the people was the instrument that was being used to gas the people to death.   I looked at the man who was sitting next to me.  He had a big smile on his face and was looking attentively at the man who was speaking.   Then I realized this man was dead.  He was already a corpse.   I looked at the other people in the congregation and saw they were already dead.   And as I sat there among them, listening to the speaker, I felt drowsy and I knew the gas was killing me too.   ***   It was ordained by God that all these things happen before Jesus returns to gather the elect of God and before God destroys this present heaven and earth by fire.   * Jesus raises the dead in Christ and then Jesus sends HIS angels to gather the elect of God who are still living on this earth and they meet Jesus "in the air" and are taken to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.   I Thessalonians 4:13-18  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/go before) them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive (on the earth) and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.   ***   I Corinthians 15:50-52  (Changed into new spiritual bodies)   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed (into new spiritual bodies),   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   (Blink.  That is how fast we will leave these fleshly bodies and receive our new spiritual bodies and be taken off this present earth to meet Jesus and the ones who have been raised from the dead, in the air.)   ***   We will be taken to the new heavens and new earth which have been created by God for the elect of God, as described by the apostle John in the following scripture.   Revelation 21:1-5   1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   ***    Matthew 24:29-31   Jesus said   29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   The powers of the heavens are shaken by God.  Jesus returns in the clouds and gathers HIS elect.   ***   At the end of this present world.   * The heavens rolled up like a scroll and passed away with a great noise.   Revelation 6:12-14  And I beheld when HE had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;   13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.   14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.   Isaiah 34:4  And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.   * The earth was moved by God out of it's place in the solar system and then it was destroyed by God by fire.   Isaiah 13:13   God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.   2 Peter 3:10-14   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   ***   Revelation 16:17  And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,   It is done.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 27, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Experience with God and teaching from God has given me a solid anchor for my soul, for from the time I was born again by God by HIS Spirit in 1975, God has shown me things the Holy Spirit does for the elect of God and by the Holy Spirit.  And by that which God reveals to me by HIS Spirit, I know God will help me in each situation of this present life.   When we are born again, we are sealed by God with the Spirit of God.   Ephesians 1:13-14  In WHOM ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in WHOM also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of HIS glory.   The Holy Spirit helps us in these ways:   John 14:26   Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.   Examples are given on this Podcast.

but she could not:   20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.   21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;   22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.   23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.   24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.   25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.   26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.   27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,   28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.   In this Podcast, I record examples of that which they do when we speak godly things to them in church groups.   *****   Pam Padgett rented a room from a woman who was twice divorced and attended the single's class at the church Pam attended.   When this woman began seeking another husband, Pam warned her that, according to the Bible, the divorced woman who remarries commits adultery.   This woman said to Pam, "I don't care what the Bible says."   Pam was so shocked that a woman who calls herself a Christian and attends a church didn't care what the Bible says.   This woman found a man in the singles class at church and planned to marry him.   Pam went to this man and told him it would be adultery if he married this divorced woman.   Matthew 5:32   Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   - The divorced woman who remarries commits adultery.   - The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.   Also Jesus said:   Mark 10:   11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   This man said he would think about it.  (But he went ahead with the planned wedding.)   Pam knew the maid of honor, so she went to this woman and told her that if these people married, they would commit adultery, according to the Bible.   This woman said to Pam, "I know it will be adultery, but they will marry anyway, so I'm going to go ahead and be the maid of honor."   (I Timothy 5:22   neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.)   At that same time, Pam moved to housing that was farther away from that church group so she stopped going to the singles class but continued going to the main service on Sunday mornings.   The singles always sat together at the 11:00 service.  Pam went to the place where they always sat and sat there but no one from the singles class came to sit in that area.  Pam saw them sitting farther back in the auditorium.   Then the next Sunday, Pam went to the new area in the auditorium where the singles sat, but the singles were now sitting in the old area.   The next week, the singles were already sitting in the auditorium when Pam arrived at the church building.  Pam went to that area and sat down with the singles class.  Without saying a word, they got up and moved away from Pam.   Pam cried out to God, "What have I done wrong?"   A few weeks later, a woman from that church came to Pam and said.  "I have a word from God for you.  God knows how the people in the singles class are treating you and that it is because you have warned about the marriage between the man and divorced woman, that it will result in adultery.  God wants you to know you told them what HE wanted you to tell them."   Pam was so grateful to God for sending her this information.   ***   The apostle Peter says:   I Peter 4:12-14   Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when HIS glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.   If ye be reproached for the name of Christ (The Word), happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part HE (The Word) is evil spoken of, but on your part HE (The Word) is glorified.   ***   2 Timothy 4:2-4   Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.   ***   Paul spoke to Timothy:   2 Timothy 1:6-14   6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.   7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.   8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me HIS prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;   9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to HIS own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,   10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:   11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.   12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know WHOM I have believed, and am persuaded that HE is able to keep that which I have committed unto HIM against that day.   13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.   14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.   ***   Jesus says:   John 16:2-3  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.  And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor ME.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 26, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   This world approves many things that are not right in the sight of God.   We who are servants of God want to go in the way that is approved by God.   Therefore the apostle Paul says to us:  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  (Romans 12:2)   We renew our minds to the New Testament Bible.   2 Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.   One day I was reading the following scripture:   Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.   Our righteousness is of God because that which we are thinking of doing was authored by God so our righteousness is of God for what we are about to do was God's plan and not our own idea!   God says:  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.  (Joshua 1:9)   Matthew 7:21-23  Jesus says:  Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.   22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?   23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.   Their religious works were not authored by God.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 10, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   As we live on this earth, God often uses events of this life to make significant changes in us.   On television, they were showing a very "great" house which belonged to a famous person.  As I looked at that house on TV, I found I was so glad that I didn't have that house.  How different I am now!  What happened?   God changed my heart!   And I realized that God used an interesting event to change me.   In February, 2019, I moved from Texas to Colorado. I put my house in Texas on the real estate market.  It did not sell, though I often asked God to bring a buyer to that house.   For 1 1/2 years it remained on the market.   When it did sell, I was so grateful to God that it was "finally" over, for it burdened me when I thought of it before it sold!  Now I was free!   Ever since that time, I have had no desire to have the responsibility again of dealing with property.   I suspect the delay in the sale of the house was used by God for my benefit to show me how wonderful it is to be free from physical property!   God arranged for me to live in the home of one of our church group.  She is truly born again and has the Spirit of God and follows God.  This has been better for me than any previous time of my 83 years of this life!   Sometimes when we have gone through a trial, we can look back and see how it helped us to have that trial.   Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.   *****   The first big change comes when we are born again by God, by HIS Holy Spirit who now lives in us.   First, we were born of our parents, of the flesh, by the will of humans.   We walked in the flesh, doing the things of the flesh.   Galatians 5:19-21   Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,   21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.    ***   When we are born again by God by HIS Spirit, we then are changed by God, and the Spirit of God lives in us, and we walk in the Spirit of God, doing as the Spirit shows us to do on this earth.   Galatians 5:22-26   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,   23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.   24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.   25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.   26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.   The flesh tries to rise up in us to get us to do the will of our flesh.   But now the Holy Spirit of God lives in us and the Spirit rises up to show us the will of God and we keep our flesh crucified by choosing to go in the way of the Spirit, causing our own flesh to "suffer" because it no longer gets to run wild in us doing it's own will as it once did.   If we follow the Spirit, doing as the Spirit instructs, it is life.  To follow our flesh is death to us.   Romans 8   1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.   3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending HIS own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:   4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.   (Our flesh brings thoughts and ideas trying to lead us to go in the ways of the flesh.  But the Spirit brings opposite ideas showing us another way to go, which is the way of God.)   6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.   7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.   8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.   9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.   10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.   11 But if the Spirit of HIM that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.   12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.   13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.   14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   (The flesh tries to lead us, but the Spirit brings to our minds another way to do and we choose the way shown us by the Spirit, for that way is the way of God.)  

(This podcast was previously published on May 25, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Through the years since I have been born again, God has "restored my soul" many times as I have been troubled.   He sent HIS Word and healed me and delivered me!  Instantly!   Example:   I was 83-years-old when this happened.   All of a sudden thoughts began to bombard my mind.  "What if this happens?  What if that happens."   I cried out to God, "Help me!"   Instantly I heard this from the Holy Spirit:  "God will supply all your needs."   "That's right."  I exclaimed!   The Holy Spirit reminds us of all that Jesus has said.   The Holy Spirit is "The Comforter."   John 14:26  Jesus said:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   Matthew 11:28-30  Jesus says:  Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.   Another example of God restoring my soul:  (Birthday card / recorded on this Podcast)    

(This podcast was previously published on May 20, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Jesus gives one reason people divorce.  Their heart becomes hardened toward their mate.   Mark 10   2 And the Pharisees came to HIM (to Jesus), and asked HIM, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting HIM.   3 And HE answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?   4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.   5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.   6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.   7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;   8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. (also please see 1 Corinthians 6:15-19)   9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   10 And in the house HIS disciples asked HIM again of the same matter.   11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   God hates divorce.   Malachi 2:16   For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that HE hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.   Please listen to the following Podcast for extensive information and all New Testament scriptures on subject of divorce and remarriage.   "Divorce/remarriage:  What the Bible says.  (click here)   *****   At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh.  Even if you have sex with a prostitute you become one flesh, says the Bible.   I Corinthians 6   15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.   16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   ***   The only scriptural reason for a man to divorce his wife:   Matthew 5:32  Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   * If the divorced woman, who has been a faithful wife, remarries, she commits adultery. * Her husband who divorced a faithful wife is the cause of her adultery. * The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.   ***   I Corinthians 7:10-11  (A commandment of the Lord for the New Testament church)   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   ***   I Corinthians 7:39   The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.   ***   Romans 7:2-3   For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.   3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 9, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   As we read the New Testament Bible, we see the Word of God which shows us how we, who belong to God, are to live on this present earth.   I John 3:24   And he that keepeth HIS commandments dwelleth in HIM, and HE in him. And hereby we know that HE abideth in us, by the Spirit which HE hath given us.   When we belong to God, HE gives us HIS Holy Spirit to live in us and to teach us and to guide us.   We follow the Spirit of God, walking in HIM as we do HIS instructions.   We no longer follow the will of our own flesh as we once did.  Now we follow that which the Spirit of God shows us, walking in the Word of God and walking in the will of God.   We keep our flesh crucified with Christ, the Word, as we do the Word, refusing to obey that which our flesh desires.   2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   Now we are born again by God by HIS Spirit and HIS Spirit lives in us.   1 Corinthians 3:16   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   It is not that we go to church.  Now we are the church, for God is in us by HIS Spirit and we now follow HIM.   Therefore Jesus says to us:   John 10:27-30   MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand. MY Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand. I and MY Father are one.   After we are born again by God and have HIS Spirit, we want to read the Bible.  We want to hear things of God.  We are new creations, created by God by HIS Spirit who speaks God's word to us.   I Corinthians 6:9-11  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.   We no longer live the way we once lived.  We no longer desire to do and to say those things we once did and said.  We are now new creatures, created by God by HIS Spirit Who now lives in us.   Now we serve God instead of serving ourselves as we once did.   We abide in God's Word and we walk in HIS Word, obeying HIM.   God changed us.  It is not that we changed ourselves.  God changed us!  Now we are born again by God by HIS Spirit.   *****   After we are born again and have God's Spirit living in us, we do the works of the Spirit of God.   Galatians 5   16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.   17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.   18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.   (For the Spirit fulfills the law, for the Spirit does not hate as does the flesh.)   19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   20 Idolatry, witchcraft (superstitions), hatred, variance (arguing: to vary against), emulations (trying to outdo others), wrath (desiring vengeance against others), strife, seditions, heresies,   21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,   23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.   24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.   25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.   26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.   Instead of beating people as we once did, now, because of the Spirit that is in us, we want to help other people.  The Holy Spirit would never seek adultery or fornication for that would hurt other people.  Now because of the Spirit that is in us, we walk in love toward others.   It is not that we try to love.  We love them because of that Spirit Who loves and lives in us.  Now love and all the fruits of the Spirit are inside of us because the Holy Spirit lives inside of us.   It is not that we try to do the works of the Spirit.  We do godliness because that Spirit in us is godly.  And we walk in that Holy Spirit as we follow that which HE shows us to do.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 22, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The shepherd watches over the flock of sheep.  He sees the sheep eating away at the grass of the pasture and the shepherd knows they will consume the pasture in a short time and the shepherd begins to look for new grasslands where there will be plenty of food and water for the sheep.   God watches over us this way and makes provision for us.   God provided for Elisha the prophet.   2 Kings 4:8-11 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.   9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.   10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.   11 And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.   Everything was provided for him.   In 2018, my heart changed on several things.  I had a big house in Texas and I no longer wanted a big house.  I wanted one room with all my stuff around me.   (God was preparing me for a change that was coming very soon.)   Also I realized I was not going to be able to live alone as I had done before.  (I was 81.)   On December 6, 2018, I fell at my house in Texas.  As the ambulance workers rolled me past my front door to take me to hospital, I heard from God:  "You'll never see this house again."   God had prepared everything for me to move to another pasture where I would be cared for.   All I had to do is to go through each door as it opened for me!   God cares for us as that good shepherd cares for his own sheep.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 13, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we are born through our parents, we are born in the flesh of man.   When we are born again by God by HIS Spirit, we are born in the Spirit of God.   The flesh produces the works of the flesh which are these:    Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of HIS.   10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.   11 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.   12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.   13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.   14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

(This podcast was previously published on May 12, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   In April, 2021, a report appeared on CNN which said the earth has shifted on its axis.  The scientists went on to say this was caused by the changing climate which they said people have caused.   Most scientists show they do not know the Bible.   Genesis 1:1   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.   At one point in time, God brought a flood and destroyed all life on this earth except for Noah and his family and the creatures which were in the ark.   After the destruction, God said to Noah.   Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.   And the apostle Peter said this concerning the last days:   II Peter 3:1-7   This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:   2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:   3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,   4 And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.   5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:   6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:   7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.   At the end of the world, God HIMSELF, will shake the heaven and earth.   Isaiah 13:13  (God says)  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.   Matthew 24:29-31   Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   These things will be done by God, not by man.   *****   God keeps the heavens and the earth in place until the time HE destroys the heaven and earth by fire in the last days.   II Peter 3:10-14   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   The powers of heaven will be shaken by God.  God ordered the solar system and God keeps everything in place for a time by HIS Word.  At the end, God destroys the heavens and earth by HIS Word.   Isaiah 34:4  And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.   Revelation 6:14   And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.   Only God the creator can cause these things to happen.   ***   Before God destroys the present heaven and earth, God removes HIS elect from this earth.   I Thessalonians 4:13-17   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/ go ahead of) them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   ***   We will be taken to the new heaven and new earth which has been prepared by God for HIS people, for the elect of God.   Revelation 21:1-5   And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 4, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Matthew 16:5-7  And when HIS disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.  Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.  And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.   11  Jesus says:  How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?   12 Then understood they how that HE bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.   Jesus says this is a sign of the end times:   Matthew 24:3-5   And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?   4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.   (These deceivers will come into the church saying, "Jesus is Lord", and because they say that, the church will accept them.  Then they will deceive many in the church.)   Paul instructs Timothy:   2 Timothy 4:2-4  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.   The apostle Paul says:  The churches will fall away from scripture and the man of sin, antichrist, will come into the churches and set up his own doctrine, casting aside the doctrine of Christ of the New Testament Bible.   2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scripture."   Antichrist is in today's church groups as they have omitted certain scriptures and set up doctrines of men for their congregations to follow.  This has been going on since Paul and John lived on the earth, but it is much worse now and will continue to get worse and worse, until Jesus comes to deal with antichrist.   *****   In the end time Jesus will destroy antichrist and the apostate churches:   II Thessalonians 2:8-12  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:   9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,   10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.   ***   Many antichrist were already in the churches of the apostle John's time on this earth.   I John 2:18-19   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.   ***   The apostle Paul spoke to the elders of the church at Ephesus and warned them that men were even there among the elders just waiting for an opportunity to bring forth to the church "perverse things".   Acts 20:28-30  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.   29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.   30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.   ***   Divisions, denominations, sprung up even in Paul's day on this earth.  It was to get worse and worse toward the end, says Paul.   I Corinthians 3:1-4  And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.   2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.   3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?   4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?   (Carnal:  One says, "I'm Baptist."  Another, "I'm Catholic."  Another, "I'm Church of Christ  ... or Methodist ... or Presbyterian."  Carnal, dividing the body of Christ with denominations.)   ***   Ephesians 4:1-6   I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,  With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;   3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.   4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;   5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,   6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.   ***   As soon as you speak of your denomination, you divide the body of Christ and bring division to the church.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 8, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we allow ourselves to be led by money we often go in the wrong direction and even bring harm upon ourselves and our families.   Paul teaches us and warns us:   I Timothy 6:5-19  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, (who are) supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.   6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.   7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.   8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.   9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.   10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.   11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.   12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.   17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;   18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;   19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.   *****   1 John 2:15-17  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.   16 For all that is in the world, the lustof the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.   17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.   ***   Jesus shows HIS disciples that the time comes that all those things they admire will be destroyed.   Matthew 24:1-2   And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and HIS disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.  (Luke 21:5  And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts)   2 And Jesus said unto them,  See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.   All those things which we can see with our natural eyes and admire will be destroyed in the end times.   ***   Seek wisdom from God:   Proverbs 2:6-8  For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of HIS mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.   7 HE layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: HE is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.   8 HE keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of HIS saints.

(This podcast was previously published on May 6, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   I Corinthians 15:51-52   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   When Jesus returns, some of the elect of God will still be alive on this present earth.   First, Jesus raises the dead in Christ.   Then those who are still alive on this earth will be changed instantly out of these current fleshly type bodies and will be given new spiritual bodies.  It will happen very fast, in the blink of an eye.   Blink. That is how fast it will happen.   Matthew 24:31   And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   In their new spiritual bodies, the elect of God will then be raised off this earth and will meet Jesus and the resurrected dead in Christ in the air and we will be taken to the new heavens and the new earth, the new Jerusalem, which is prepared for the elect of God by God.   Here are the scriptures telling us about this:   I Thessalonians 4:13-17   13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/go before) them which are asleep (dead).   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain (on this earth) shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.   We will then be taken by Jesus to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness, that "new" Jerusalem which is prepared by God for us.   Revelation 21:1-5   1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   *****   Then God will destroy with fire this present heaven and earth after we have been taken into heaven to that new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.   II Peter 3:10-14   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.     ***   So if we are born again and endure to the end, following the Holy Spirit as HE shows us something to do, we should be fine.   Jesus does warn us of the following:   Matthew 24  Jesus says:   12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   I believe we have to work daily, keeping our mind renewed and reinforced by scripture and by godly exhortations, such as the blog and Podcasts.   I have currently recorded over 400 Podcasts to exhort us in things of God.   ***   Hebrews 10:24-26   And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:   25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;   (This does not mean to attend one of the apostate churches, but rather it is the assembling "of ourselves together" ... and to me this would mean to gather with one or two persons who really have the Spirit of God and follows the Spirit of God ... and immerse yourselves in spiritual writings and Podcasts daily for things going on in this world and in the apostate church world will be very bad, worse and worse as time goes on.)   but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.   26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.   28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:   29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?   30 For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.   31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.   I believe we must work at our salvation, keeping ourselves, in ways that remind us of the ways of God upon this earth.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 15, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Acts 17:26  (NIV Original Translation)  HE (God) determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.   I am persuaded that we are born to the parents that God chooses for us, and I know by the scriptures we live in the exact period of time where God wants us, and we also live in the exact places selected by God.   It is not accidental, nor is it our choice but God's choice for us, that we would fulfill our purpose on this present earth.   The following scriptural examples show us God's working in the lives of HIS chosen.   Concerning Joseph:  His brothers sold him into slavery when he was 17 years old, and he was taken down into Egypt and became a slave to a captain of Pharaoh's guard.  He put Joseph in charge of all that he had because he saw the Lord was with Joseph and God made everything Joseph touched to prosper.   Genesis 39:1-8  And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.   2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.   3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.   4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.   5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.   (Abraham was a blessing to all nations because he heard the voice of God and obeyed God.  We, too, are a blessing to all who come in contact with us because we belong to God and hear God and obey God.)   6 And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.   7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.   8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;   9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?   (Then this woman lied concerning Joseph and that caused his master to put him into Pharaoh's prison.)   20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.   21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.   22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.   23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.   Wherever we are and whatever we do, God gives us favor and causes us to prosper in the place HE has put us at that specific time.   And God moves us from place to place as HE wills.   *****   Consider Job:  Job started out a prosperous man but lost everything for a season.  But at the end, God caused Job's life to be even better than it had been at the beginning.   Job 42:12-13   So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.   13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.   ***   I am currently 83-years of age.  I've found God has blessed my latter end more than my beginning, although there have been many blessings of God throughout the past years.   No period of time compares with the past two years after God moved me from Texas to Colorado to live in the home of another of the elect of God.   ***   Hebrews 6:10   For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward HIS name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.   ***   I Peter 4:12-14    Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:   13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when HIS glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.   14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part HE is evil spoken of, but on your part HE is glorified.   ***   We, who are chosen by God, the elect of God, are set on this earth for the purpose of fulfilling the will of God.   Romans 8:   1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.   3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending HIS own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:   4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.   6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.   7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.   8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.   9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of HIS.   10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.   11 But if the Spirit of HIM that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.   12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.   13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.   14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.   16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:   17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with HIM, that we may be also glorified together.   18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.   19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.   20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of HIM who hath subjected the same in hope,   21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.   22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.   23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.   24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?   25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.   26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.   27 And HE that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because HE maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.   28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.   29 For whom HE did foreknow, HE also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of HIS Son, that HE might be the firstborn among many brethren.   30 Moreover whom HE did predestinate, them HE also called: and whom HE called, them HE also justified: and whom HE justified, them HE also glorified.   31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?   32 HE that spared not HIS own Son, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall he not with HIM also freely give us all things?   33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.   34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.   35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?   36 As it is written, For THY sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.   37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM that loved us.   38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,   39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 5, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we are born again by the Spirit of God, we then have the Holy Spirit living in us to lead us and guide us and to show us the way we are to go in the specific issues of this present life, that we may go in the will of God for us in this life.  (John 14:26;  John 16:13;  I Corinthians 2)   God leads us by HIS Spirit.  God gives us information as we need help.  God shows us what to do.   "How?"  you might ask.   God simply brings thoughts to our mind, ideas, scriptures, concepts to show us what to do.   "I am the way," says Jesus.   The Word is the way.   As those thoughts from God come to our mind, that is "The Word" to us at that point in time.  As we follow that Word that is from God, we are blessed by God.   March 2020, the Coronavirus raged in the USA.  Businesses closed.  All sporting events were cancelled.  Everything shut down.  Never before had we witnessed anything like this!  And it was all over this world.   I had a special problem.  My house in Texas had been on the real estate market for the past 1-1/2 years.  How can I expect it to sell when people all around are terrified over the Coronavirus?   I turned to God asking God this question:  "Is there any thing I should do about that house in Texas."   Instantly the Holy Spirit of God brought the following to my mind:  "Put the house on a special sale for 1 week and lower the price."   I called my realtor immediately and told her to do this.   The house sold in 2 days.   Deuteronomy 28:1-2  And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all HIS commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:  And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.   Today God speaks to us, HIS children, by HIS Holy Spirit who lives in us.  The Holy Spirit brings ideas from God to our mind.  When we do those things, the blessings of God come upon us and "overtake" us.   It is that simple:  Hearing the voice of God as brought to us by the Holy Spirit in the form of those thoughts that come to our mind.   And we know the voice of God because it is "pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."   Do you hear the voice of God?  Do you follow the ideas sent to you by God?   If you are born again, changed by God into a new creation, you can follow the Spirit of God for HE is in you.   God's yoke is easy.  HIS burden is light.  (Matthew 11:30)   If the idea is difficult, complex, overly expensive, I always know I have not heard from God.   *****   James 3:14-16   But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.   ***   Jesus says:   John 10:27  MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:   4-5 And when HE putteth forth HIS own sheep, HE goeth before them, and the sheep follow HIM: for they know HIS voice.  And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.   ***   John 10:26   But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep ...   Some strays got into the pasture and pretended to be part of the flock and they tried to look like sheep, but they were really goats!   Matthew 25   31 When the Son of man shall come in HIS glory, and all the holy angels with HIM, then shall HE sit upon the throne of HIS glory:   32 And before HIM shall be gathered all nations: and HE shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:   33 And HE shall set the sheep on HIS right hand, but the goats on the left.   34 Then shall the King say unto them on HIS right hand, Come, ye blessed of MY Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:   35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave ME meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave ME drink: I was a stranger, and ye took ME in:   36 Naked, and ye clothed ME: I was sick, and ye visited ME: I was in prison, and ye came unto ME.   37 Then shall the righteous answer HIM, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?   38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?   39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?   40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these MY brethren, ye have done it unto ME.   41 Then shall HE say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from ME, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:   42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:   43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.   44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?   45 Then shall HE answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to ME.   46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.   ***   But many church going people have never had that personal experience with God where God changes them instantly from the person they once were.  They are often trying to change themselves by "learning", and sometimes they even work very hard to change themselves, but they fail to come to God for HIM to do HIS work in them.   They sign up for many good works at their church groups:  visiting the sick, cleaning the church building, bringing flowers to the Sunday service   But unless God authors that work, you can be turned away by Jesus at the day of judgment.   Jesus warns:   Matthew 7:21-23  Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY Father which is in heaven.   22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?   23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.   We must follow the Spirit of God to do the will of God in our works on this earth.   Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   ***** John 3:3   Jesus says: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.   6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.   31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.   So in the Bible, we are instructed to "exhort" one another even more as we see the day of the Lord approaching.   (Exhort means:  to urge earnestly by advice and warning)   It is not that we speak too much, as devils would tell us.  But rather we need to speak even more godly things to edify the church in the last days.   (Paul once spoke till midnight to that church group.  Acts 20:7)   So we speak and don't hold back!   2 Timothy 4:2-4  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.   *****   Hebrews 6   4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,   5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,   6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.   7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:   8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.   ***   2 Peter 2   18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.   19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.   20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.   21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.   22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.  

(This podcast was previously published on April 30, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    God is our teacher.  By HIS Spirit we are taught all things of God.   II Timothy 1:12-14   For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that HE is able to keep that which I have committed unto HIM against that day.   13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.   14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.   It is God who chose us to salvation to be the elect of God.  It is God who changed us into a new creature after we were born again, and God who gave us His Holy Spirit to live in us and created us in HIS own image.  God causes us to live in peace, love, joy, and in all the fruits of that Holy Spirit of God.   Galatians 5:22-23   The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.   As we follow the Holy Spirit of God, these fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in us and we end up fulfilling the law of God as we walk on this earth.   *****   Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:   4 According as HE hath chosen us in HIM before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before HIM in love:   5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of HIS will,   6 To the praise of the glory of HIS grace, wherein HE hath made us accepted in the beloved.   7 In WHOM we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS grace;   8 Wherein HE hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;   9 Having made known unto us the mystery of HIS will, according to HIS good pleasure which HE hath purposed in Himself:   10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times HE might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in HIM:   11 In WHOM also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of HIM who worketh all things after the counsel of HIS own will:   12 That we should be to the praise of HIS glory, who first trusted in Christ.   13 In WHOM ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in WHOM also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,   14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of HIS glory.   ***   Acts 1:8  Jesus says:  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME ...   ***   God is our teacher, revealing spiritual things to us by HIS Holy Spirit who dwells in us.   I John 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM.   28 And now, little children, abide in HIM; that, when HE shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before HIM at HIS coming.   29 If ye know that HE is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of HIM.   ***   II Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   ***   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   I Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   ***   The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to reveal the will of God to us.   I Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.   10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.   11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.   12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.   13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.   ***   Jesus says:   John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.   The Holy Spirit brings ideas, concepts, scriptures to our minds to show us the will of God in the specific issues of this present life with which we are dealing.   And we follow HIM.   And when we follow Him, doing as God shows us through HIS Spirit, we shall never perish, for when we follow HIM we are HIS sheep.   Jesus says:   John 10:27  My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:   28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand.   29 My Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand.   30  I and MY Father are one.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 1, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Unless you are born of God's Spirit, changed by God into a new creature, you cannot see things of God.   I Corinthians 2:14  The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   Jesus says:  John 3:3   Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.   5-6  Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.   When we enter this world as little babies, we are born of the flesh of man with a fleshly resemblance to our parents and relatives.   When we are born of the Spirit of God, we are then like the Spirit of God, and we can understand things of God by HIS Spirit who dwells in us.   And as we follow that which the Spirit of God brings to our mind, we produce the fruits of the Spirit of God.   Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.   It is not that we learn to do the fruits of the Spirit.  We do the fruits of the Spirit because the Spirit of God who now lives in us is showing us what to do and we follow HIM, doing that which HE shows us to do.   John 3:4  Nicodemus saith unto HIM, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?   5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.   6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.   When we are born again by God by HIS Spirit, we are instantly changed into another person, born again.   II Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   God reveals Himself to us and we are instantly changed.   We are no longer like we once were.  Now we have the Spirit of God in us to lead us in things of God.  Now we want to read Bible, and now we want to go to church and hear things of God.  And we want to be with people of God instead of being with those people of the world where we were before.   I Corinthians 6  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,   10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.   Most people in church groups are not born again.  They went to church and joined the church, but they were not changed by God instantly into another person.  They just tried to be godly.  They learned by their own flesh at church.  They tried to copy other people at church. They are imitations of people of God.  They are not of God for to be of God you must be born of the Spirit of God.   Many ministers do not have the Spirit of God.  They just put themselves into the ministry by their own will by going to Bible school or seminary.  They are not really called by Jesus and set into the ministry.   Those who are born of the Spirit of God, are taught by God.   *****   After we are born of God having HIS Spirit, we do not try to be godly.  We are godly, for God lives in us after we are born again!   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   I Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   ***   Paul explains this to us in the following scripture:   Romans 9   6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:   7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.   8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.   9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.   10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;   11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of HIM that calleth;)   12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.   13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.   14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.   15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.   16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.   17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew MY power in thee, and that MY name might be declared throughout all the earth.   18 Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will he hardeneth.  

(This podcast was previously published on April 29, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   2 Timothy 4:2-4  The apostle Paul says:  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.   3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;   4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.   A few years ago, on a national TV newscast, they showed the man who was Catholic pope at that time, and they were asking him about homosexuals, and he said, "I don't see anything wrong about being homosexual."   I screamed out!  "What about the Bible?"   Romans 1:26-28   For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   Another example:  A church woman, who was divorced and wanted to remarry, went to a pastor to ask him if she, as a divorced woman, could remarry.  The pastor said:  "I don't see anything wrong with a divorced woman remarrying.  My sister is divorced and she remarried."   What about the Bible?  What does the Bible say about this?   I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   39  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.   Romans 7:2-3   For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.   3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.   When you want to know what God thinks about something, go to the New Testament Bible and look up that subject.   *****   Mark 7   1 Then came together unto HIM (to Jesus) the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.   2 And when they saw some of HIS disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.   3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.   4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.   5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked HIM, Why walk not Thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?   6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth ME with their lips, but their heart is far from ME.   7 Howbeit in vain do they worship ME, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.   8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.   9 And HE said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.   ***   In many churches today, they have set aside the doctrines of Christ of the New Testament Bible and have set up another doctrine to please men of this generation.   When they do this, falling away from scripture, they open the door for antichrist to move into the church.   II Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away is not man leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures."   When churches do this they bring damnation upon themselves.   8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:   9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,   10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  

(This podcast was previously published on May 3, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Romans 12:1-2   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.   2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   We who believe in God, must be diligent to cling to truth of the Bible.   Therefore when we hear someone on TV speak that which is contrary to Bible, it is important for us to renew our mind to the truth from the Bible.  For that which is false could go down into our heart and at some point deceive us.   Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.   2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.   3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.   4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.   5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness HE called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.   God created the solar system to remain in place until HE commanded otherwise.   God said:  Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.   God keeps everything in place until the end of the world when God brings forth a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  God will remove us from this present earth before God  destroys this current heaven and earth by fire.   We know these things because the Bible tells us this, and it is the Word of God, the truth. Therefore we have an anchor for our soul whereby we can live in peace regardless of that which the people of this world say.   This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God in the last days.  But God has made a provision for us, a new heaven and a new earth, and we will be removed from this earth and taken to the new heaven and new earth before this earth is destroyed by God.   2 Peter 3:10   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   We live on this earth in peace.  Then at some point, God will move us off this earth and take us to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.   Because of that which is written in the Bible, The Word from God, we know these things.   *****   The apostle John says:   Revelation 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   ***   God created for us all that we need.  And when it is time, God will move us to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.   Men of this present earth try to disturb us.  But we who know the Bible and trust God, do not allow ourselves to be swept away by them and their imaginations.  We have a solid anchor and that is the Bible which is truth.   So we renew our minds to the Bible and keep ourselves in peace by God's word to us.   ***   This earth is currently kept in place in the solar system by God.  But it is reserved there unto "fire" for the day comes when God will destroy this earth.   2 Peter 3:7  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.   By that word of God these heavens and earth are kept in place in the solar system until the time of the end of this world when God, by HIS Word, will move the heavens and earth and destroy by fire that which we now know.   But God will remove us and take us to that new heaven and new earth which God has prepared for HIS people.   I Thessalonians 4:13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/go before) them which are asleep (dead).   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain (on this earth) shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   These things we know because of that which is recorded for us in the Bible.   Matthew 24:29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   We will meet Jesus "in the air".  With Jesus will be those who were dead and are now raised by Jesus.  And we will all be taken to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness, to new Jerusalem, which has been created by God for HIS people.   Keep your mind fixed on that which Bible says and do not fear that which man predicts, for man is not God, though man often thinks himself to be God.   Romans 12:2  Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,   And live in peace as we wait for the return of Jesus.   Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (The Word).  

(This podcast was previously published on April 27, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    After we are born again, the Holy Spirit will remind us of things of God, and as we speak those things we are witnesses to Jesus.   Many times, throughout the years of our lives, the Holy Spirit reminds us of things and that is when the power of God is there.   Jesus says:   Acts 1:8   But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME.   Years ago, I was at a copy store.  An elderly man came up to me and said, "Little lady.  You didn't happen to park behind that green and gold car did you?"   "No sir," I replied.   Then he said, "That's a Baylor car."  (Green & gold are the colors of Baylor University, a Baptist college in Texas.)   "OK."  I replied.   Then he said, "You don't happen to be a Christian do you?"   I excitedly replied, "OH YES, I am!"   He said, "Oh, heck.  I just joined the witnessing class at First Baptist Church and you are the first person I have chosen to witness to."   The power to be a witness is very different from trying to witness.   This will be discussed on this Podcast.   *****   Examples of the Holy Spirit coming upon me through the past years:   * The Holy Spirit says to me, "Be baptized."   * Court trial:  Holy Spirit says to me, "Don't testify."   * I saw man I was dating walking up sidewalk toward my business.  I heard this from the Holy Spirit:  "You can have all the money you want, but you're not going to have this."  I thought Holy Spirit was showing me I would not marry Bob.  But Holy Spirit was showing me I would not marry.   * Decision to go to court without human legal counsel because of Isaiah 54:17.  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of ME, saith the LORD.   * Angel of God speaks 3 words to me, "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS", and I say to God, "Are YOU telling me to go on radio?  I wouldn't know how to do that."  Holy Spirit says, "Call the radio station manager.   *  When I am searching for a quarter & nickel in my coin purse, the Holy Spirit says to me, "Three dimes will work."   * Methodist woman speaking about people who were judging.  Holy Spirit said, "If you're judging that people are judging, aren't you judging?"   * When radio station manager in Seattle said they might have to put me off the air if I continued to speak judgment messages, God said through me to him, "If I don't speak the message that I believe to be from God, then I don't have a message, and I may as well be off the air."   * Deuteronomy 18:9-12 spoken to my mother. My mother said, "Well ... I guess we'd better not do that anymore."  When she agreed with those scriptures, she was born again.   * Seeing a truck loaded with firewood.  Holy Spirit says:  "You can have that."   * When woman at grocery store check-out line was rebuking cashier for working on a Sunday, Holy Spirit said through me: "If you want to live by the letter of the Old Testament law, then what are you doing shopping on a Sunday?  By the Old Testament law, you just rest all day in your tent."   * While trying to tune a defective TV by using my remote control, Holy Spirit says:  "You don't have to put up with that."   * After fall at my house, trying to crawl to phone with broken hip and wrist.  Holy Spirit says:  "You can do this."   * Ambulance workers rolling me past my front door after accident.  Holy Spirit says:  "You'll never see this house again."   *  House in Texas for sale in the midst of Coronavirus pandemic.  Holy Spirit says:  "Put the house on a special sale for one week with price lowered."  (House sold in 2 days.)   * As I considered putting new upholstery on my 25-year-old car, the Holy Spirit says to me, "Or you could just buy a new car."   (The above examples happened from 1975 through 2020.)   We receive power after the Holy Spirit speaks to us by bringing a thought from God to our mind and when we speak that word or do that instruction, we are witnesses to God and Jesus.  

(This podcast was previously published on April 25, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Many churches today are teaching doctrines that are traditions of men instead of the commandments of God from the New Testament Bible.   This is antichrist in the end time church.  This is the apostasy that Paul said had to come before Jesus returns.   II Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;   4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   "The falling away" are churches falling away from scripture.  When this happens the door is open for antichrist to come into the church and set up doctrines of men, departing from scripture which is the doctrine of Christ for the church.   For example:  The Catholic church teaches their followers to pray to Mary.  This is their "tradition" set up by men and not by God.   Jesus says:  John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.   In the New Testament Bible, we are taught to pray directly to God through Jesus Christ.   Philippians 4:6   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   Mary is dead.  She is sleeping.  She cannot hear you or watch over you.  No dead person can do these things.  Dead people are asleep.   Jesus shows us that dead people are "asleep".   John 11:11-14  These things said HE (Jesus): and after that HE saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.   12 Then said His disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.   13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that HE had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.   14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.   Some church people in both Catholic and Protestant churches think dead people watch over them.   The Bible shows us that dead people are asleep.   I Thessalonians 4:13-17  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep (dead).   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   God watches over us.  Dead people are sleeping until Jesus returns.   In churches today, there are many traditions of men which are opposite to the doctrines of Christ in the Holy Bible.   *****   The protestant churches usually call crackers and grape juice, "The Lord's Supper."    But we commune with God through prayer and through the Bible which is the Word of God.   As we partake of scripture correctly and apply scripture to our lives, we "eat and drink" the flesh of Jesus and the blood of Jesus.  This is "The Lord's Supper."   Therefore those who wrongly apply scripture, "eat and drink" damnation to themselves.   I Corinthians 11   27  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.   28 But let a man examine himself (as he reads Bible), and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.   29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.   30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.   31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.   ***   Matthew 15   1-2 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,  Why do Thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.   3 But HE answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?   4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.   5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;   6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free.   Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.   7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,   8 This people draweth nigh unto ME with their mouth, and honoureth ME with their lips; but their heart is far from ME.   9 But in vain they do worship ME, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.   ***   In February, 2021, a pastor of a Baptist church in Georgia (USA), announced to the world news media that homosexuals and lesbians were welcome to come to their church.   This is shockingly against the Bible.   Romans 1:26-28  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   When I read this on CNN International, I thought of how close we must be getting to the return of Jesus and the great tribulation and the end of this world!   For when the churches fall away from scripture this way, we draw much closer to the end.   The Southern Baptist Convention removed that Baptist church in Georgia from their association of approved churches.  They said they were removed because they went against the "tradition" of the Baptist church.  (They did not mention any scripture at all, just "tradition.")   Even the Southern Baptist Convention pulled away from citing scripture.  (antichrist and the end times)   In The Bible, we read the following concerning homosexuals and lesbians:   Romans 1:26-28   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   When we, who are of God, give a reason for doing something, it should be because of a scripture in the Bible and we should present that scripture for all to see.   ***   But to be approved by man, many omit Bible.   The Bible, the scriptures, are the only thing keeping antichrist back.   2 Thessalonians 2:7-8  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only HE who now letteth will let, until HE be taken out of the way.   When Jesus, THE WORD, the Holy Scriptures, are removed, then antichrist moves into the church.   8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:   The apostle Paul said antichrist was already there in the churches, among the elders even, just waiting until Paul was out of the way so he could move in and speak perverse things to the church.   Acts 20:29-30  Paul says to the elders of the church at Ephesus:  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.   The apostle John also told us there were "many" antichrists in his day coming into their church.  They came into their church, in John's time, and stayed there until they saw they could not take over and speak their perverse doctrines, and then they left.   I John 2:18-19  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.   Many denominations came as a result of those who did not want to follow sound doctrines in the church groups.   These denominations set up their own doctrines and left the doctrines of Christ.  They set up their own churches by their own fleshly preferences.   Some churches even use some scripture for a time, only to "fall away" from that instruction and set up other teachings by their own thinking to please men.   It seems unreasonable to say:   *  whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.  (The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery)   Words spoken by Jesus in Matthew 5:32   *  Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.  (I Corinthians 7:10-11 ... a commandment of the Lord says Paul)   *  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.  (Romans 7:2-3)   If the divorced woman remarries, she commits adultery.   *  Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.  (Words of Jesus in Mark 10:11-12)   *  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.  (I Corinthians 7:39)   *  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. (Word of Jesus in Matthew 32:5)      - Man who divorces "a faithful wife" will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries.    - Faithful wife who has been divorced by her husband commits adultery if she remarries after divorce.    - Man who marries divorced woman commits adultery.   When churches change the doctrines of Christ away from the New Testament Bible, they fall away from the Word of God and this allows antichrist to come into that church group and reign over the church group.   ***   The Catholic church once taught their followers that if a woman was divorced and she remarried it was a sin. Also they taught that a man could not marry a divorced woman.  But they taught no scripture to back up their rules.   (Also the Catholics taught their followers that they could not read the Bible for they would not understand the Bible and they might get it wrong.)   And more than once, I have heard Catholic individuals say their church told them they did not need to read the Bible, for the Catholic priest would tell them what they needed to know.)   ***   The current Southern Baptist Convention is now stating that they do not welcome to their churches homosexuals or lesbians because it is against their "tradition", but they present no scripture.   As time goes by, they change their rules in their churches, falling away from the doctrines of the scripture of the New Testament Bible, and this is antichrist in the churches.   Their followers often do not know what God says in the Holy Bible about these subjects.   When we say what we believe, we must also tell the scripture upon which our belief is based, otherwise the doctrine is weakened and we get to the point we don't know if this is really what God says or not.   ***   Satan came to Eve to cause Eve to doubt that which God said:   Genesis 3:1  Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?   The devil is the father of lies.  Even in his statement to Eve, he presented perversion of the word from God, for devil said, "every" tree?  No, God didn't say "every" tree.  The devil twists scripture.   (When I recall a scripture, I like to go to that exact scripture in the Bible, for the devil has a way of adding things which are not in the scripture.  So I like to read that section of scripture from the Bible and check exactly what the Bible says to us.)   Genesis 2:9  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.   15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.   16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:   17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.   (See how the devil twisted this scripture when he spoke with Eve.)   Jesus said this concerning the devil.   John 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.   And when we fail to quote exact scripture, we are beginning the falling away from scripture.   Soon it becomes tradition and something other than the exact word from God.   Then we, too, fall away from scripture.   We must deal very carefully with the Word of God and quote that word correctly to others even when they will not understand.   The scripture is all that stands between us and antichrist.   Do not try to lure people to yourself.  Speak the pure Word of God and let them depart if they wish to do so.   I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   I Timothy 4:2-3   Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;   ***   Other scriptures in this Podcast:   II Corinthians 6   14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?   15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?   16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.   17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,   18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.   ***   When we speak the exact scriptures to them, they will often depart from us when they are unbelievers.   If the unbeliever depart, let him depart.   They will be as thorns in our sides and pricks in our eyes if they are unbelievers and we try to be with them.   Numbers 33:55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.   By speaking the scriptures, we drive the unbelievers away from us.   If they agree with scripture, when we speak, then they will be saved and given the Spirit of God.   I Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   But as long as an unbeliever chooses to come around you, speak the Word of God as the Spirit brings that word to your mind.

(This podcast was previously published on April 28, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When a problem comes, those persons who ask God what to do will overcome on this earth.   Those people who try to ignore the problem, or who run to other people, telling others their problems, will not overcome on this earth.   When we have a problem or a concern, what are we as Christians supposed to do?   Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (The Word).   Acts 2:19-21   God says:   19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:   20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:   21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.   ***   When these things happen, some will run into their house to be safe.  Others will run to friends.  Some will try to forget that which is happening by watching TV or reading a book.   Those who stop and fall down before God, doing nothing but depending totally on God, will be saved.   It is the same with the problems we encounter daily.   We can try to forget that problem by soaking ourselves in TV.  But those who cease all their efforts and fall down before God in prayer, committing their fears and concerns to God, and waiting on God, will be saved from the problem.   A woman told me of the following dream:  She and her husband were going out to buy a TV.  She was at the car waiting for him when all of a sudden the sun turned totally dark!  She started to run back into their house.  But then she realized that wouldn't do any good. She just fell down on her knees.   In the mid-80's, I had the following dream: The earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  The government was meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done.  (Nothing can be done by men for this was of God.)  A TV newscaster was trying to give a report about the event, but he was so frightened that he just stopped talking and walked out of the studio in the middle of the broadcast.   Isaiah 13:13  God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger.   *****   Recently thoughts began coming to me telling me I would not be saved.   But I remembered two scriptures to the contrary.   Mark 10   28 Then Peter began to say unto HIM (Jesus), Lo, we have left all, and have followed Thee.   29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for MY sake, and the gospel's,   30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.   John 10  Jesus said:   27 MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:   28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand.   29 MY Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand.   I said to Jesus:  "You told me I would inherit eternal life."  Mark 10  That is what will happen.  And You told me "I would never perish."  John 10  That is what will happen.   And as I was asking God to help me, I heard:  "You're being attacked by a devil."   I did not talk to devil.  I did not even address that devil.  I just kept talking to Jesus and stating what HE had told me in Mark 10 and John 10 and kept asking God to help me.   And I believed those words of Jesus.   ***   Those persons who run to other people with their problems or try to forget their problems through TV and such, will not overcome.   Those who turn to God for help and cling to HIS Word and to HIM will be helped and saved and will overcome on this earth.  

(This podcast was previously published on April 23, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When the sins of this world and the sins of the churches around us increase, it signals the coming of Jesus and the great tribulation and the end of this present world.   As the sins in the days of Noah brought the destruction of this world by God, and the open sins of the men of Sodom in the days of Lot signaled the destruction of Sodom, the rampant and blatant sins of today show us how close we are coming to the end of this world.   Jesus says:   Matthew 24   35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.   36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but MY Father only.   37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.   38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,   39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.   ***   Luke 21   7 And they asked HIM, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?   8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.   9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.   10 Then said HE unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:   11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.   (pestilences:  Have we ever seen anything before like Coronavirus?)   25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.   27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.   ***   According to Matthew 24, the following will happen:      * The great tribulation    * The powers of heaven will be shaken    * Jesus comes through the clouds and send HIS angels to gather the elect.   Matthew 24  Jesus says:   29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   *****   Jesus said:   Luke 21   29 And HE spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;  When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.   When we see signs such as:  volcanoes erupting, earthquakes, stars or meteors fall from the heavens ...  God is likely speaking to HIS people.  I always notice when these things happen today.  And I consider that the great tribulation is likely coming soon.  And the shaking of the powers of heaven by the sun failing to give it's light.  The moving of the earth slightly in the solar system. And then the sign of Jesus in the sky.   And we will see open wickedness in both the world and in the apostate churches.   31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.   ***   Matthew 24:44   Jesus says:   Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.   2 Peter 3:14   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   ***   Great wickedness of men came before the destruction from God:   Luke 21  Jesus said:   26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.   27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.   28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;   29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.   Days of Noah:  Genesis 6 Days of Lot:  Genesis 19 (Read of these)   30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.   ***   Pestilences:   Coronavirus covered the entire earth.  I think this makes this virus as a "trumpet".   To me this is just one of the many things that come to tell man, "You are not in charge."   It is just glimpse of the fall of Babylon of Revelation 18 in the end times, where great cities fell.   ***   And unspeakable sins begin to surface, especially in the churches.   February, 2021:  A Southern Baptist Church pastor in Georgia makes announcement to the world that homosexuals and lesbians are welcome to their church.  Apostasy in the churches.   The Southern Baptist Convention put this church group out of the Baptist group of churches because they said they did not conform to the "tradition" of the Baptist church.  No report at all was given to USA Today concerning the fact that because of the Holy Bible, this church group was expelled.  They just said they didn't fit the "tradition" of the Baptist church groups.   This is even a bigger sin to me, for the leadership of the Baptist church did not cite scripture in their reason for their action when they reported to the news media.   In everything scripture must be the reason for our action as Christians.  And we must cite the specific scripture upon which we base that which we are doing.   Romans 1:26-28  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   Before Jesus could return, there would be "a falling away" where churches fell away from scriptures, and the man of sin (antichrist) moved into the churches.   II Thessalonians 2   3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;   4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:   9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,   10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.   ***   And through all these things that come upon this earth, we keep ourselves in peace, without spot, and blameless through constant prayer, connecting us to God in every trouble.   And we cling to the scriptures of the Bible until the end.   II Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.    

(This podcast was previously published on April 26, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   After we are born again by the Spirit of God, God puts HIS laws for the New Testament church directly into our hearts and minds.   Hebrews 8:10-11 God says: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put MY laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to ME a people:   11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know ME, from the least to the greatest.   Often God will put HIS own desire into our hearts so that we desire to do that thing even before the situation arises.   But if we are about to go in a way that would not be of God, HE can cause our heart to change to go even in a way opposite from that which we thought we wanted to go.   God just puts in our heart another desire and leads us that new way.   God shields us from those things that would not be beneficial for us, and keeps us from that which would hurt us and destroy us.  And HE leads us into a more abundant life than we could have had otherwise.   God even puts HIS own laws into our hearts and minds.   Hebrews 10:16   God says:  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put MY laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;   I John 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM.   (Abide in that which God has told you.)   28 And now, little children, abide in HIM; that, when HE shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before HIM at HIS coming.   29 If ye know that HE is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of HIM.   *****   John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.   I Corinthians 2   9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.   10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.   11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.   12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.   13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.   ***   If we are of God, we are righteous, because of that which God has shown us, and the Spirit of God dwells in us to remind us of all things that we have heard from God.   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   We pray continually for the will of God to be done in our lives on this present earth.  

(This podcast was previously published on April 22, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Concerning compromise, never do we who are of God compromise scripture.   Romans 1:26-28 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   In the Bible, we have the example of the men of Sodom who went after strange flesh.   Genesis 13:13  But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.   In every "quarter" of the city were homosexuals.   God sent 2 angels to Sodom to deliver Lot (Abraham's nephew) before God destroyed Sodom.   Angels look like natural men.  Angels do not have wings.   So when these homosexuals in Sodom realized the 2 men had come into Lot's home, they came demanding that Lot turn these 2 men over to them so they could have sex with these 2 men who were really 2 angels sent by God to destroy Sodom.   Genesis 19:4-7  But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:   And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.  (Have sex with them.)   6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,  And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.   In this Podcast, I will present the scriptures showing God's view of Sodomites and the way the nation of Israel dealt with Sodomites.   God's view of the subject is all that matters.   What does God think?   The examples in the Bible show us the thinking of God on the various issues of this present life.   *****   On April 12, 2021, on CNN International (Internet), there was a story about a pastor in the Southern Baptist church group, who announced that homosexuals and lesbians and other sexual deviates were welcome at his church.   Before Jesus returns the churches will fall away from scriptures and antichrist moves into the church groups.   II Thessalonians 2:3-4   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;   4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures."   In the end times, churches will set up other doctrines, contrary to scripture, and go by these doctrines of man in their churches, casting aside scriptures.   This is antichrist.   The apostle John tells us there are "many antichrists", not just one antichrist.   I John 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   John explains that those people who were antichrist came into their church group and then left them when they did not like the pure doctrine of Christ.   Many of these antichrist people set up their own churches, denominations, where they could control the teaching and omit the doctrines of Christ as they preferred.   In speaking with the elders of the church at Ephesus, the apostle Paul said:   Acts 20:29-30   For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.   Paul said to Timothy:   II Timothy 4:2-4  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.   This is what we are seeing today in many churches.   These are the antichrists of the end times in the churches.   *****   Concerning the Sodomites of the Old Testament:   I Kings 14:24   And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.   I Kings 15:12   And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.   I Kings 22:46  And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.   II Kings 23:7  And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.   Deuteronomy 23:17  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.   Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.   Jeremiah 23:14  I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto ME as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.   Jeremiahs 50:40  As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.   ***   As homosexuals and lesbians and other sins of this world increase, we know the coming of Jesus and the great tribulation and the destruction of this present heaven and earth draws closer.   II Peter 3:13  Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   There will never be righteousness on this present earth.  It will just get worse and worse.   II Timothy 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.   But God will remove the righteous from this earth and take the righteous to that new heaven and new earth which is created by God for HIS people who follow HIM.   Revelation 21   1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:  for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.    

(This podcast was previously published on April 18, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    When we are watching television, often we will hear someone say something that we know to be opposite to the Word of God as stated by God in the Holy Bible.   It is very important for us to renew our mind to the Bible.   Recently I heard a very famous man say, "All die.  No one escapes death."   Because of the Bible, I know that statement is not true.   Immediately after I heard this man say this, I took my Bible and made a screen print of the page of scripture where Paul says, "We shall not all sleep (die),"   I Corinthians 15:51-52   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   When Jesus returns, first the dead in Christ will be raised, then those who are still alive will be changed from this earthly physical body, and be raised from off this present earth and taken into the air to meet Jesus and those who are raised from the dead.   I Thessalonians 4:13-17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.   *****   Romans 12:1-2   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.   2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   We who believe in God, must be diligent to cling to truth of the Bible.   Therefore when we hear someone on TV speak that which is contrary to Bible, it is important for us to renew our mind to the truth from the Bible.  For that which is false could go down into our heart and at some point deceive us.   Some will think this unnecessary.   But I know it is critical to do the scriptures and not just hear the scriptures.   And I know it is important to collect scriptures which are brought before us in situations such as this and put those scriptures into some form of collected file and meditate upon those scriptures as we live daily on this present earth, keeping ourselves by the Word of God.   Joshua 1:8  God says:   This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   I use my Kindle tablet photo section and make screen prints of such scriptures which I usually read daily.   The man who said the lie of the world was Ernest Hemingway.   A three part series of his life appeared on PBS and I recorded it.  I watched some of Episode 1, but felt it best to stop watching when he divorced his first wife and married a second wife, and later a third wife, all of which is adultery according to the Bible.   Matthew 5:32  Jesus said:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   I only watched part of Episode 1, but as they praised Hemingway, I found myself saying, "But Hemingway committed suicide."   Several times I said this.   I deleted Episode 2, but I watched some of Episode 3, wanting to hear their report of Hemingway suicide.  Toward the end of his life, he became crazy, thinking men in restaurants were government agents who were out to get him.  At the Mayo clinic they were giving him electric shock treatments but he continued in his imagined fears.  He was a very heavy drinker, a drunk.   I just kept thinking of how you can have all that fame and glory of men, and destroy yourself and lose everything.   Matthew 16:26 Jesus says: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?   It is important for us to guard our own hearts with all diligence, uprooting the saying of this world and wisdom of this world, and clinging to the truth of the Word of God in the Bible.   Also I was reminded of the following:   God says:  I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.  (Joshua 1:5 & Hebrews 13:5)   And God gives us a "sound mind", when we follow HIM.   II Timothy 1:7   For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.   ***   Other scriptures in this recording:   Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.   ***   II Peter 3:10-14   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   ***   Philippians 4:6-7   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   ***   James 1:21-22 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.   22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.   25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.   James 2:24  by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.   26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ***   Luke 21   Jesus says:   33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.   34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.   35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   ***   Matthew 18  Jesus says:   3  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.   4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.   ***   Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.   ***   Revelation 12   9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.   10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.   11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.   12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. (This podcast was previously published on April 19, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Being born again means, we are changed instantly by God.   A young man told me he walked out on his back porch and "something happened."   A woman, who was a long time drunk, said one day "something happened" and she had a great desire to read the Bible after that happened.  She told her husband she was going to quit drinking.  He didn't believe her because he'd heard her say that before.  But this time the power of God was in her to enable her to do those things she could not do before.   In my case, the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me:  "Joan ... you know those mistakes you've been making all these years?  Those weren't mistakes. Those were sins."   After I heard the word of God, by the Spirit of God, I believed and was instantly changed by God.   I read a portion of Bible (Deuteronomy 18:9-12) to my mother one day and she thought about that which I read to her and she said, "Well ... I guess we'd better not do that anymore."  And instantly she was changed by God.   My uncle wrote to me and said:  "Your mother is changed.  She is really changed."   My dad was born again instantly by God when he was in his 70's.  All of a sudden he wanted to go to church.   Jesus said to Peter: Matthew16:17   Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.   It is not that we learn things and change.   We are instantly changed by God and are given the Holy Spirit to live in us.   II Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   No man can do this for himself.  He can go forward at church and be baptized and do what they tell him to do to be a member of their church group, but he cannot change inwardly as those who are born of the Spirit of God change.   Being born again is an act of God, not an act of the will of man.   Countless numbers are members of a church group, but few are born of the Spirit of God and changed instantly into completely new creatures by God HIMSELF.   Being born again is instant change caused by God and not by mental learning of man. And it is having the Spirit of God living inside of you now to lead you and guide you.   These statements will make no sense to the vast number of church goers who have not been born again by the Spirit of God.   They think we learn everything by acts of our own will, by reading the Bible.   But we cannot understand things of God by reading the Bible until we have been born again by God.   I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   Jesus said:  Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  John 3:3   Paul says they are:  "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."  (II Timothy 3:7)   But we cannot understand things of God by reading the Bible until we have been born again by God and have the Spirit of God in us to guide us and teach us.  It is HIS Spirit causing us to change and to be recreated in the image of God.   The Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)   We cannot obtain these "gifts" by copying others who have these gifts.  These gifts of the Holy Spirit are given by God and are not a learned thing but, rather, a part of the new creation which God causes us to be when HE lives in us.   I Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   When we were born as babies from our natural parents, we did nothing to cause ourselves to be born.  Neither can we cause ourselves to be born again.  We are children of God by the will of God, and born of HIS Spirit, and recreated by God in HIS image.   As Jesus was born of the Holy Ghost, we also are now born of the Holy Ghost when we are born again.   And as Jesus could hear from God the Father, now we also can hear from God the Father by HIS Spirit who now lives in us.   As we inherit traits from our natural parents, now we inherit God's characteristics by being born of HIS Spirit.   We are changed by God and we are no longer like that person we once were.   Have you experienced that instant change from God?  If you have, you know it.  And others see that change in you also.   That is what being born again is.  We now have living in us God's Spirit.   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   It is not that we try to be godly.  We are godly, for God lives in us now, for we are born of God our Father and have HIS Spirit in us. *****   Comments by Pam Padgett    My great-aunt, Aunt Eunice, had gone to the Baptist church, I think all of her life.  As an adult she was very active in the Baptist church, even cleaning the church each week.  I'm sure everyone in our family had no doubt that Aunt Eunice was a Christian.   When she was in her 80's, there was a large family reunion.  At one point during the gathering, Aunt Eunice got up and announced with great joy and excitement that she was now born again!  She said she had always thought she was born again, but she now knew that she hadn't been born again until recently.   I was sitting next to Aunt Eunice's oldest daughter.  She leaned over to me and said "I don't know why Mother is saying this.  She just recently started talking like this.  But she has always been a Christian.  Everyone knows how she has worked at the church and done whatever needed to be done for years."    This daughter obviously didn't understand being born again, but it caused me to rejoice to hear what Aunt Eunice said.   Matthew 7:21-23  Jesus said:  Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.   22 Many will say to ME in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?   23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.   ***   Comments by Joan Boney:   My aunt was Church of Christ all her adult life.  She was different from all the other relatives.  We got along great.  They were afraid of her but I was never afraid of Aunt Ardath.  They would say, "What would Ardath say?"  She was their gold standard concerning what was right and wrong.  But she wasn't that way with me.   After I was born again, I was at her house and the Holy Spirit said to me, "Tell her about being taken into heaven."  I didn't want to do that!  She was Church of Christ!  You don't tell supernatural religious things to Church of Christ.   But I knew it was the Holy Spirit telling me to do this, so I yielded myself to that which the Holy Spirit said for me to do.   I began telling my aunt this story:  After I was born again, I was transported into heaven in the night while I was sleeping.  I was with God and Christ and the Holy Spirit.  (I saw no physical images.  It was in the spirit.)  At that time I was merged into the body of Jesus, made one with the Word of God, God and the Holy Spirit witnessing.   As I told her this story, I noticed that a type of dreamy look came upon her face.   After I finished speaking, she said to me:  "Something like that happened to me once and it was all golden."   Then I knew why we always got along so well.   She once said to me, "I always knew you would never do anything wrong."   I did everything wrong!  But she must have seen me by faith.  For after I was born again I was completely changed instantly.   ***   When we are born again, we know we didn't do anything to cause us to be born again or to justify our being born again, it was all by the will of God.   I think this causes us to be more merciful toward those who are not born again.   Romans 9    6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:   7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall Thy seed be called.   8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.   9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.   10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;   11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of HIM that calleth;)   12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.   13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.   14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.   15 For HE saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.   16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.   17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew MY power in thee, and that MY name might be declared throughout all the earth.   18 Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will HE hardeneth.   (If you have never experienced these changes from God, I suggest you fall down before God and beg God to have mercy on you.)
