(This podcast was previously published on April 12, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... As the wickedness increases in this present world and in today's apostate churches, we are as those who walked through the Red Sea. We walk on dry ground without being touched by the world or the apostate churches. Live in peace. If something or someone steals our peace, we turn to God with the issues to see what God would have us to do. Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (The Word). Examples are given in this Podcast:

(This podcast was previously published on April 16, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Jesus speaks to us today by HIS Spirit, guiding us, teaching us, reminding us of that which HE has said and even showing us things to come. In the Old Testament, the people had to go to a prophet to hear what God wanted them to do. But in the New Testament all who belong to God have been given HIS Spirit to speak to them. Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds; Each of us who are of God are sealed with the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Spirit of God lives in us to show us the will of God in the issues pertaining to this present life. Ephesians 1:13 In WHOM ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in WHOM also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. Always share that which the Holy Spirit brings to mind when with other people. Resist the fear of offending them but rather submit to that which the Holy Spirit brings to your mind, sharing that. We don't try to witness but we are a witness when we speak that given to us by the Holy Spirit of God.

(This podcast was previously published on January 10, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... If you have a problem and don't know what to do, ask God. His answer might surprise you! James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. I know there are many times God just puts something into my heart and leads me. Psalm 37:4-5 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass. I've always thought this means God will put HIS desires into our hearts to lead us. We think it is our desire but really it is HIS desire for us, when we are praying, asking HIM what we should do.

(This podcast was previously published on July 22, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... It would be terrible to have to seek the counsel of humans. And it would also be dreadful to try to figure out what to do based on our own reasonings. We are blessed above all others for we have access to the wisdom from God. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. And God watches over us and leads us by the Holy Spirit who dwells in each believer. John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. In the Old Testament, the children of Israel are examples for they fought against God and did not prosper. Psalm 81 10 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. 11 But MY people would not hearken to MY voice; and Israel would none of ME. 12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels. 13 Oh that MY people had hearkened unto ME, and Israel had walked in MY ways! 14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned My hand against their adversaries. 15 The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto HIM: but their time should have endured for ever. 16 HE should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

(This podcast was previously published on July 24, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... If they ask us what we think, we should tell them what God thinks! That is what matters. The apostle Paul says: 2 Timothy 4:2-4 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. If they are offended and they don't want to be around us anymore, we should understand the following: I Corinthians 7:13 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. Though Paul is speaking the above scripture to those persons who have unbelieving mates, I also know this applies to unbelievers in general when we are around those unbelievers. God says: II Corinthians 6:14-18 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. It is not that we have to argue with the unbeliever. We just speak the truth from God and let the person make his decision.

(This podcast was previously published on July 29, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. A friend is one who supports you in that which you are doing. *** Recently a woman asked me: "Do you support Gays and Lesbians?" My reply: "No!" And I sent the following scripture and several other scriptures to her. Romans 1:26-28 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (I sent to her scriptures from both Old and New Testaments and told her, "This is God's view of homosexuals and lesbians and I support God's view of homosexuals and lesbians.") This woman has not come to my house to "visit" since I responded to her. If the unbeliever depart, let him depart. This is the best way I know to separate in peace from the unbeliever, speak God's truth on the subject at hand when you are with the unbeliever and the subject surfaces. Also we keep ourselves from being deceived by thinking we can have "fellowship" in the spirit with them when one has the Spirit of God and the other has the spirit of the world and the spirit of the various church denominations. It is the elect of God we are interested in identifying, for they have the Spirit of God as we do. *** Do I support the churches where pastors perform wedding ceremonies between a divorced woman and a man? I do not support these churches for Jesus said: "Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." (Matthew 5:32 Jesus says: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.) *** Do I support churches where they teach the divorced woman that she can remarry? "No." Multiple scriptures show that the divorced woman who remarries while her husband is still living is an adulteress. Romans 7:2-3 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. I Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. Mark. 10:6-12 Jesus says: But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 10 And in the house HIS disciples asked HIM again of the same matter. 11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. *** I am a Christian. I support the elect of God who are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, those who live by the Bible, and those who demonstrate that they pray and follow the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Scriptures. Paul said concerning those who show a form of godliness but deny the power of God, just turn away from such. That is what I do when I encounter such persons. (2 Timothy 3:5) But if I do encounter them, I speak as the door opens in the conversation to speak, I speak the word of God to them. *** Many people love their church buildings and their pastors and their stained glass windows and their choirs but they do not love the Word of God. By their actions we see they are not of God though they love the religious trappings. I do not support these persons. *** I support the elect of God and live in peace and fellowship with the elect of God. ***** I believe we must begin to distinguish between "the elect of God" and church goers, for these are not the same. Many are church goers, putting themselves into the church by their own will. The elect of God are those persons chosen by God to whom God has revealed HIS truth and they have the Holy Spirit living inside of them. Notice these scriptures in the New Testament Bible where the term "elect" is used. 2 John 1:13 The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen. Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Luke 18:7 And shall not God avenge HIS own elect, which cry day and night unto HIM, though HE bear long with them? 2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of th Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 2 John 1:1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom HE hath chosen, HE hath shortened the days. Matthew 24:31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mark 13:27 And then shall HE send HIS angels, and shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. *** The elect of God are those who are chosen by God and God has revealed HIS truth to them, causing them to be born again by HIS Spirit, and they are changed by God into new creatures immediately. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Has this happened to you? Only God can do this. (I suggest you fall down before God asking God to please have mercy on you if you have not had this experience with God.)

(This podcast was previously published on April 25, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... This world today is active and violent in trying to accomplish their purposes, none of which have anything to do with us, the elect of God, as we wait for Jesus to return. The apostate churches are big and powerful looking, but their power is of man and not of God. The elect of God, those individuals to whom God has revealed HIMSELF, do not seem to have any power when it comes to the world or to the apostate churches. But our hope is in God! God is power. The apostle Peter told us what we are to be diligent to do as we wait for the return of Jesus. 2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. Being in peace does not in any way mean we support the apostate churches today, nor do we support the works of the world which go against that which we read in the Bible. If we try to appease either the world or the apostate churches, we will be in danger of going down with them at the judgment of Christ. When they try to come among us as they speak contrary doctrines and tell of their many "good" works, we simply remain steadfast in the upholding of doctrines of the Bible and I have found they no longer want to come "visit" with me and they don't want personal conversations with me so I remain waiting in peace, untroubled by them. Many times I have sent the word of God to various church goers, Catholics, Church of Christ, Baptists, non-denominational ... and they have stayed away from me en-mass. (continuing in their denominations) while I continue in the peace of the word given me by God, continuing to exhort the elect of God through Internet by blog and Podcasts. Recently there was a brief moment of attempted communication between me and a Catholic woman. But a great wall seems to exist keeping us from fleshly "fellowship" that we might have pursued, left to our own devices. God spared me! She said, "I'll call you this weekend." I called on God asking HIM to "help me". There was no phone call that weekend. Our flesh does get stirred up as we desire to renew communications with them, but how can light fellowship with darkness? It is not possible. Only when we are truly one Spirit are we able to fellowship as the elect of God. When we are the elect of God, born again, and they are the church goers, there is a great gulf between us. Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? So we continue our wait for the return of Jesus speaking to the elect of God. It seems important at this point in time for us to differentiate between the elect of God and the church goers. Jesus is coming to gather the elect of God to HIMSELF. Matthew 24:30-31 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. If the church goers become born again by the Spirit of God, then we are one Spirit with them and we are all the elect as we await for Jesus, and in some individual cases this could happen. But I doubt this will happen with entire church groups. The elect will never be able to share with the church goers because we are different spirits, although we will speak as led by the Holy Spirit given the opportunity to speak. (After I speak I see them withdraw.) We cannot pretend to have fellowship with this world or with the church goers who do not have the Spirit of God else we are continually troubled by them. Light and darkness cannot co-exist. But we can be at peace away from them, putting our trust in God. 2 Corinthians 6 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

(This podcast was previously published on April 11, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... II Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming: God will destroy the world, but Jesus will destroy the churches who "fell away" from various scriptures when HE comes. This is justice because it was the antichrist churches who removed portion of scripture eliminating Jesus, the Word, destroying Jesus, in their churches. When they removed scriptures and set up another doctrine other than the doctrine of Christ, they removed the restraint which had been keeping antichrist out of the churches. II Thessalonians 2:3-4 NASB No one is to deceive you in any way! For it (the return of Jesus) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 6 And you know what restrains him now, so that he will be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE (Jesus The Word) who now restrains will do so until He is removed. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; Paul warned the elders in Ephesus: Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. They "killed" Jesus in the churches when they removed scripture and changed the meaning of the scriptures. So it is justice that Jesus would be the one who destroys those church groups, which HE will do, with the brightness of HIS coming. *** The apostate churches removed many scripture such as the following: Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. They sanctioned adultery inside of their own church groups by removal of scripture. And the people in the congregations loved it that way. I Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. They did not hold to the instruction given to the church by the Holy Bible. Thus they killed Jesus and denied HIS shed blood by denying HIS doctrines. Jesus will destroy them with the brightness of HIS coming. *** And in the day of judgment they will be turned away by Jesus. Matthew 7:21-27 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. *** Revelation 16:5-6 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. As the Jews hung Jesus on a cross shedding the blood of Jesus, the churches of the apostasy today killed Jesus, The Word, by removing scriptures and changing the doctrines of those scriptures allowing sin in the churches today and destroying themselves and their congregations, crucifying Jesus afresh. Jesus will destroy them, these church groups of the apostasy, with the brightness of HIS coming in the day of the Lord when Jesus returns to gather HIS elect.

(This podcast was previously published on July 27, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... We know by the Bible, certain things must happen before Jesus returns for the elect of God. * There will be wars and rumors of wars and famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. Matthew 24:6-9 Jesus says: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. WWII was the worst war in the history of civilization according to Winston Churchill in his book The Gathering Storm. (Chapter 1) So far as pestilences, we've never seen anything like Coronavirus of 2020. There have been many pestilences in times past, but never before a pestilence that covered the entire world. *** * According to the apostle Paul, before Jesus returns there has to be a "falling away" where churches depart from some scriptures and antichrist moves into the church groups and the apostasy comes into the churches. 2 Thessalonians 2 3-4 KJV ... Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. In 1982, God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the churches, but the falling away are the church leaving the scriptures." In NASB the "falling away" is called "the apostasy". v3 No one is to deceive you in any way! For it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. The apostasy had to come into the churches before Jesus could return for the elect of God. 6-8 NASB And you know what restrains him now, so that he will be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE who now restrains will do so until HE is removed. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of HIS mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of HIS coming; In 2015, God called to my mind the word "restrains": I found this in the above scripture of NASB. I asked God, "What is it that restrains antichrist?" Instantly I heard, "Jesus, The Word, keeps antichrist out of the churches." And my understanding was opened by God. "When churches remove portions of scriptures or change scriptures, they remove Jesus (The Word) from the church and antichrist enters ... for only the scriptures, The Word which is Jesus, can keep antichrist out of the churches." And I knew this is what I had been seeing in churches for the past 40 years when pastors changed scriptures and were not ashamed of that which they had done when I talked with them about this. Some even admitted to me that the thing they had just taught was not in the Bible and they had just made it up. But there was no shame. In the end, in Revelation, we read even when the plagues were sent by God, they would not repent but they cursed God because of those plagues. Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give HIM glory. And then I understood what I had been seeing pastors do from the time I was born again in 1975, in the first church I went to after being born again. (That pastor was teaching tongues were of the devil ... while in the Bible Paul said, "forbid not to speak with tongues." I Corinthians 14:39) The apostasy was already taking place in the churches in 1975, and even centuries before as denominations broke away from the Holy Bible and set up their own groups, eliminating scriptures as they chose to do and installing religious symbols not prescribed by Bible. This had to happen before Jesus could return for the elect, according to the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. And the breaking away from Bible grew worse and worse as the time continued through the centuries. 2 Timothy 3 Paul says: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come ... 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away ... 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth ... 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. To the end of this earth, church denominations will continue setting up their own doctrines and departing from portions of scripture in the Holy Bible and will grow worse and worse. Jesus will destroy the apostate church groups when HE returns to gather HIS elect. II Thessalonians 2:8-10 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. *** * Another thing that had to happen before Jesus could return for the elect is the gospel had to be taught through all the world. Matthew 24:14 Jesus says: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. I believe we have seen this by Internet as well as by individuals who have spoken the gospel to all nations. *** The great tribulation of God comes: Jesus says: Matthew 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. *** When we are taken into heaven to meet Jesus: 2 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/go before) them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. *** The apostle Peter tells us what we should do as we wait for the return of Jesus: 2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. We keep ourselves in peace, without spot and blameless while we wait for the return of Jesus. We must not allow ourselves to be troubled by the apostate churches nor by the evil of those in this present world. For that will consume us. We must avoid those people and things that steal peace and cause us to depart from peace and joy of the Word of God. And we must not join them in the evil by rejecting the scriptures which would allow antichrist into our own selves. Matthew 24:12-13 Jesus says: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

(This podcast was previously published on July 26, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... We do have control over our mind. We can make ourselves think of God and HIS Word. The apostle Paul tells us: Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. John 17:17 Jesus says, in prayer to God: Sanctify them through THY truth: THY word is truth. John 18:37 Every one that is of the truth heareth MY voice. Ephesians 4:21 If so be that ye have heard HIM, and have been taught by HIM, as the truth is in Jesus: (in The Word) * Think on those things God did for HIS people in the Bible (especially in the Old Testament) and also think on those things God has done for you personally in this life, strengthening your faith in God and going forth in peace and joy from God.

(This podcast was previously published on January 9, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... It is so good to remember those things God has done. Remember what God did for HIS people in Egypt and in the wilderness when God led them out from their enemies. But it is equally important for each of us to remember what God has done in our own lives and to share that with others also. Psalm 126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Think on the things God has done for you! Share these things with others when the Holy Spirit brings them to your mind!

Psalm 147 1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. 2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: HE gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. 3 HE healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. 4 HE telleth the number of the stars; HE calleth them all by their names. 5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: HIS understanding is infinite.

And they stay exactly where God placed them until God tells them to move. The earth stays in place in the solar system until God tells the earth to move. We learn from God's creation, praising HIM by doing that which HE ordains for us as long as we live on this earth! Psalm 145 10 All THY works shall praise THEE, O LORD; and THY saints shall bless THEE. 11 They shall speak of the glory of THY kingdom, and talk of THY power; 12 To make known to the sons of men HIS mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of HIS kingdom. Ephesians 3:20 Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, The power of God that works in us is the power of the Holy Spirit of God who lives in us. I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? The Holy Spirit who lives in us teaches us all things, reminds us of everything Jesus has said to us, guides us into all truth, and shows us things to come. (John 14:26 & John 26:13) And the Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to reveal the will of God to us. I Corinthians 2:9-14 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

(This podcast was previously published on July 28, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Weather is from God, creator of all things. No man can control the weather though he sometimes thinks he can. When I moved to Clovis, NM (USA), there was a man who thought he could make it rain by firing a canon into clouds. We would hear, "boom, boom, boom" ... but no rain came. In the faith movement churches, there was a doctrine called, "The authority of the believer." We were taught that hail and destructive winds were from the devil and we had authority over the devil and could take authority and command the devil that he could not touch our property. (If it didn't work they said we had weak faith.) The truth is God controls the hail and the stormy winds. Psalm 148:8 Psalm 148 4 Praise HIM, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for HE commanded, and they were created. 8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling HIS word: 13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for HIS name alone is excellent; HIS glory is above the earth and heaven. Recently we had a warning on TV telling us that hail and thunderstorms were approaching the area where we live. When I heard this, I just prayed to God asking HIM to protect us. God is in charge of all things.

(This podcast was previously published on May 4, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... When the door opens in the conversation, just speak the truth by the Holy Spirit of God, by that which the Holy Spirit brings to your mind at that time. 2 Timothy 4:2-4 (Paul instructs Timothy) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. When I am with a person and the Holy Spirit reminds me of a scripture or concept, that is what I try to speak. The main thing is be faithful to God to speak what HE brings to you by HIS Spirit for then God will do the works that HE wants done. But I am greatly warned about trying to plan ahead that which I will speak for if I do that, it might be my own work. God will guide us in that which we are to speak at the moment we are with another person. Let God be in charge. If God wants us to speak, HE will bring to our mind that which we are to say. And we simply share "that". A woman in our little church group had made out a list of things she wanted to say to her adult aged son. When I found out what she was doing I urged her to tear up her list and just speak those things brought to her mind by the Holy Spirit of God when she was with her son. Luke 21:14-15 Jesus says: Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. She did tear up her list and spoke what God brought to her mind while she was with her son, and she told me later not one thing on her list was called to her mind. Learn to trust God to do HIS work through you. When we learn to trust God, HE will bring to our mind that which HE wants us to say. We don't have to try to do anything! Just speak as the Holy Spirit leads you. John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. Also it is critical for us to settle all offenses with God, otherwise we might speak wrongly, trying to set someone straight. We must keep ourselves at peace, without spot and blameless through praying when we are offended, and then speak freely that which God brings to our mind. Psalm 51 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

(This podcast was previously published on February 16, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Several years ago, I came across a church woman who turned to God when there was a problem in her life. She heard from God, and did what God said about the issue, and "overcame" the issue through what God told her. Sometimes she would share with me what had happened after the problem was solved. This is the type of church person with whom I want to have as a companion. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

(This podcast was previously published on April 13, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... I've always loved this Psalm: Psalm 107 1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for HE is good: for HIS mercy endureth for ever. 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom HE hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; 3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And HE led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. 8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men! 9 For HE satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. 10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; 11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: 12 Therefore HE brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help. 13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saved them out of their distresses. 14 HE brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. 15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men! 16 For HE hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. 17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. 18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. 19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saveth them out of their distresses. 20 He sent HIS word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Jesus says: Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(This podcast was previously published on June 22, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Each of us have assignments given by God. As long as we continue in that which God has set for us to do, peace and calm continues. But if we are drawn off our job, then comes disruption. Do you know your assignment? Do you know what God has set you here to do? Pam Padgett has been given a spiritual gift of helps. I Corinthians 14:27-28 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church (to care for the church), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Pam has an assignment from God to work in the church "helping" the church. I have two ministry offices ordained by Jesus from heaven: apostle & prophet (Ephesians 4:11) I deal with church doctrine as an apostle, things like divorce/remarriage, doctrines of elders as shown by scriptures, doctrines of Bible concerning homosexuals/lesbians and any other question that surfaces today. Concerning prophets: Hosea 12:13 And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. Prophets are used by God to help HIS people to get out of traps and to help them to stay out of traps. Prophets also prepare the way of the Lord. Today we announce the returning of Jesus and help the church to remain in a position of readiness to be received when Jesus returns. And I have a spiritual gift of exhortation to be able to urge the church by advice and warning concerning holding fast to the way of God shown in the scripture. exhortation: to urge earnestly by advice and warning Hebrews 3:12-13 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. God by HIS Holy Spirit shows us our assignments and teaches us how to do that assignment. We do not copy other humans but rather we do that shown us by the Holy Spirit of God. The work we do must be authored by God.

It is important for each of us to know that assignment which God gives us as we live on this earth so we can go in HIS way set for us. There are people and things that would pull us off that path if we allowed them to do so. Proverbs 4:14-19 14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Who is it that tempts you to evil? Note those individuals and avoid them. Remove yourselves from that temptation. Make it easy on yourself! Just keep away from such. * Humans * TV shows * Surfing Internet (avoid areas where you are drawn away from godliness) James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally, and abraideth not, and it shall be given him.

(This podcast was previously published on June 2, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... I know what I know because I read it in the Bible and I am certain that the Bible is the inspired word of God as the apostle Paul said it is: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Concerning the way to use the Old Testament, Paul says: I Corinthians 10:1-12 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. So both the Old and New Testament Bible show us the will of God for the Christians today.

(This podcast was previously published on June 25, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The word, "froward", in the Bible means: stubbornly unruly If a person is stubbornly unruly, we must put him far from us, staying away from that person, knowing of his evil speaking. We cannot take his evil words into our own heart. For if we do, we will find his evil coming out of our own mouth at some point in time. Words that go into our heart bear fruit, whether good or bad. Jesus says: for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matthew 12:34) II Corinthians 6 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

(This podcast was previously published on June 30, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... There are many church goers who worship various idols today. Some church goers pray to dead people. They think dead people watch over them and protect them. Jesus tells us dead people are asleep. Dead people cannot watch over anyone who is living nor do dead people answer prayers. John 11:1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped HIS feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) 3 Therefore his sisters sent unto HIM, saying, Lord, behold, he whom THOU lovest is sick. 4 When Jesus heard that, HE said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. 6 When HE had heard therefore that he was sick, HE abode two days still in the same place where HE was. 11 Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said HIS disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that HE had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. God answers our prayers when we pray according to the will of God. I John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us: And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM. Many church goers worship their church buildings, and their preachers, and their stained glass windows, and their choirs ... but they do not worship the word of God: 2 Timothy 3:1; 5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come ... 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. The building is not the church. We who are born of the Spirit of God are the church. I Corinthians 3 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? Some church goers make days of the week and other things into idols: Christmas, Easter, lighting of candles, water which they call "holy", mother's day and such. There are church goers who put objects in religion thinking these objects have certain powers: rosaries, medallions by whom they pray to dead people, candles. Check the New Testament Bible, for if the object of worship is not described in the NT Bible, then you are worshiping an idol. Psalm 106:36 They served their idols which were a snare to them.

(This podcast was previously published on July 1, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... When we are born again, God changes us to a new creature. We are not like we once were. We often do not want to do those things we once did. Most of us who have been born again now want to read the Bible. We also want to be with other Christians who are believers and try to do the Word of God. We are very different after we are born again. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. In the Old Testament, God gave the people this instruction: Numbers 33:50-53 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. 55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

(This podcast was previously published on June 29, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Here are several mistakes made by the people in the Old Testament as they went through the wilderness. I Corinthians 10:6-11 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. (murmur means: to complain, especially a continual complaining under your breathe) 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Psalm 106 13 They soon forgat HIS works; they waited not for HIS counsel: 14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. 15 And HE gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. 16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD. 17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. 18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. 19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. 20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. 21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

(This podcast was previously published on July 28, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The apostle Paul tells us not to live as the pagans live. When someone dies, Paul urges us to sorrow not as those persons who have no hope. Instead believe in the resurrection of the dead in Christ. And show that truth. I Thessalonians 4:13-17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go ahead of) them which are asleep. Why do we meet them in the air? This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God. We will meet in the air for we will be taken to that new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. II Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. Those who have been raised from the dead and those who have been raised from off this present earth meet Jesus in the air and are taken to that new heaven and new earth which is created by God for the saints of God, new Jerusalem. Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. *** I Corinthians 15:49-52 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(This podcast was previously published on July 14, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The wrath of God, the great tribulation, is coming upon this world because of the increase of evil in this present world. The evil we see today is a sign showing us the closeness of the coming of Jesus and the wrath of God that will come at the end of this present world. No man knows exactly when the great tribulation will come or when Jesus will return to gather the elect from off this present earth, but we have signs. When we see the leaves appear on the trees don't we know spring is upon us? Jesus explains to us in Luke 21, that it will be the same today. As the wickedness increases around us and men approve wickedness, this signals the pending wrath of God that will come upon this world. One of the signs is increase of homosexuals, as it was in the day of Sodom before God destroyed Sodom. (Genesis 19) What God says in Bible about homosexuals and lesbians: Romans 1:26-27 ... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. So we know this is one of the sins which brings the wrath of God in the destruction at the end of this present world. As we see the increase of this sins, we can know the wrath of God is not far away. ***** Genesis 19 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; (Angels look like natural men. Angels do not have wings. Cherubims have wings, not angels.) 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he (Lot) pressed upon them greatly; (Lot knew the evil of men in Sodom and he was trying to protect these 2 "men" from the evil that he knew could come if they remained in the street of Sodom overnight. Lot did not know these 2 men were actually angels of God.) and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. 4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: (These homosexuals were from every quarter of the city of Sodom. Sodom was filled with homosexuals.) 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. ("know them" ... have sex with them) 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. (Lot knew the wickedness planned against these 2 strangers by the men of Sodom. It is amazing that Lot called the men of Sodom "brethren", and that Lot chose to live among the wickedness of this city for Lot could have lived anywhere. Yet Lot was righteous for we read that in II Peter 2:7-9 And (God) delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) Genesis 19 8 (Lot said) Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. 9 And they (the men of Sodom) said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow (Lot) came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. 10 But the men (the angels) put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. 11 And they (the angels) smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. (Angels have great power of God.) 12 And the men (the angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: 13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it. 14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law. 15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. 16 And while he lingered, the men (the angels) laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. (The 2 angels literally drug Lot and his wife and his 2 daughters out of the city of Sodom.) 17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he (the angel) said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. (Then Lot fights against the word of God that is carried by the angels of God.) 18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: 19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: 20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. 21 And he (the angel) said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken. 22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. 23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. 24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; 25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. 26 But his wife (Lot's wife) looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. *** To us today God says: * Separate yourselves from those people who call themselves Christians but they reject portions of scripture and go in another way. For they are anti-Christ, opposite from the Word. * Follow those scriptures that are brought to you by the Holy Spirit for they are stepping stones leading you to the right place in the sight of God. The wrath of God, the great tribulation, is coming upon this present world before God destroys this heaven and earth. (The plagues of God that are coming: Revelation 8-16) *** That which we must do throughout the day, each day. Philippians 4 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Is there anything that troubles you? any person? any fear? any dread? If so, this means you have not discussed it with God in prayer or you have not yet heard from God about the matter or you have not focused on that which God said to you about the matter. In that case, you need to talk with God again and really get it established by God and focus on that, doing what is right in the sight of God. Then you can live in peace instead of torment.

Matthew 12:33-37 Jesus says: Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

(John 10:27) Jesus speaks to us, HIS elect, HIS children. Jesus guides us as we walk on this earth so we can go in HIS way, following HIM, doing that which HE says. We learn to hear HIM when HE brings information to us. We know HIS voice and a voice of a stranger we will not follow, but we will flee from the voice of a stranger. (John 10:4-5) It is very important for each of us to collect those scriptures which are called to our attention by the Holy Spirit bringing those scriptures to our mind for we must keep those specific scriptures before us to give us the strength to go in the instruction of those scriptures as we walk on this earth. Those scriptures brought by the Holy Spirit to our minds are special messages from God at that point in time to us! They are exactly what we need! Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. We see the same promise in the following scripture: Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Proverbs 4:20-23 God says: 20 My son, attend to MY words; incline thine ear unto MY sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. When we see that Word from God, but do not know how to do that Word in our lives, we can ask God for His wisdom. God promises to give us HIS wisdom when we ask in faith for wisdom. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Let us learn to call on God immediately each time we are frightened or each time we need help. God will show us what to do and give us that which we need to enable us to go forward in peace and in success and in assurance on this present earth as long as God chooses to leave us on this earth.

Three times in the early chapters of Proverbs, king Solomon warns the young men concerning the "strange women" and tells the young men what will happen to them if they choose to go after a "strange woman". Proverbs 5 1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: 2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. 3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. 6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. 7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of MY mouth. 8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: 9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: 10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; 11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, 12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; 13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! 14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly. 15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. 16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. 17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee. 18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. 19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. 20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? 21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and HE pondereth all his goings. 22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. 23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. Death and destruction are the fate of the man who follows after "a strange woman". (Also see: Proverbs 6 & Proverbs 7)

God knows future: Often people go forward and things happen and they say, "If only that hadn't happened it would have worked." Before making decisions, before going forward, ask God for HIS wisdom. We have a promise from God that if we ask God for wisdom, HE will give us wisdom. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. John 5:30 Jesus said: I can of MINE own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and MY judgment is just; because I seek not MINE own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent ME. John 14:26 Jesus said: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. Other scriptures: Proverbs 4:11-13 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are HIS: II Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever. The fear of the Lord is the understanding that God knows what is best for us. So when we read the Word of God or hear a word directly from God, we know that is the way to go and to go any other way is to our detriment and destruction. We would be afraid to go any other way after hearing a word from God. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Proverbs 8:14 (God says) Counsel is MINE, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. One day I was watching the evening news on TV, and I saw that the newscaster just couldn't wait to get to the next sensational story to stir up the flesh of man to evil. Later I saw this scripture and set myself to do this scripture, avoiding the evil of the newscast and of other people who would stir me up to evil. Proverbs 1 10 If sinners entice thee, consent thou not. 15 Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. After that, I kept this scripture before me day and night so I could evaluate those persons who were stirring me up wrongly and could avoid such people. The apostle Paul says: 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. *** This is critical: Pray, asking God for wisdom in that which you are thinking of doing. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. *** I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

(This podcast was previously published on, May 24, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Things to consider as consequences of having an abortion: * You will be destroying a part of your own flesh, your own child. By doing this you destroy not only your child but a part of your own self, and you will never fully recover but will carry this the remainder of your life, for a part of you will have been destroyed. It is a memory you will not likely extinguish. * And another burden: At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh. So you have already committed to being one flesh with that man by having sexual intercourse with him, for as long as either of you live on this earth you will be one flesh by this act of sexual intercourse for this is the way God created this. You will find it is not so easy to eliminate that sexual partner either. I Corinthians 6:15-18 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh. (Even if a man has sex with a prostitute he becomes one flesh with that prostitute.) 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. You fragment yourself each time you have sex with another person. You may try to escape this, but God ordained that the two become one flesh at the time of sexual intercourse and you cannot change this fact for it is as surely set as the sun is set by God in the sky. Abortion will just add to your own torments. But there are even greater things to consider: Sinning against God and upsetting the course of the way God ordained for this earth and for humans who live on this earth. God's plan is as follows: Mark 10 Jesus says: 6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. God joined the two together at the time of sexual intercourse. Casual sex cannot be casual. ***** Other scriptures to consider: Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is HIS reward. YOU sin against God if you destroy your own child. For you destroy the heritage of God. Proverbs 17:6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers. You upset the course of your own world as ordained by God for the people in this world, and this will further destroy you. Not only do you commit murder, but you stop the heritage of the Lord for all your family: You hurt many other people: your parents who would be denied the right to be grandparents and have God's heritage. If you have brothers or sisters, you also deny them their rightful heritage to have a niece or nephew. And if you have other children, you deny their heritage by killing their brother or sister. You end up harming everyone in your path ... and you will destroy a part of your own self also! And your choice will likely carry into all eternity. II Corinthians 5:10-11 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; *** And the apostle Paul shows how terrible it can be for women to be "free" to run about from house to house. I Timothy 5:13-15 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. 14 I will therefore that the younger women (who are widows) marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. 15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.

An agent from the Michael Ellison Advertising Agency told me this in 1980, concerning their former client, Jimmy Swaggart. Swaggart came to the agency because he was unhappy with the small number of people who were coming to his meetings. The agency told Swaggart: "To get bigger crowds, stop preaching so much, and put more singing into your meetings." (Swaggart was a country western type singer.) Swaggart did what the advertising agency said to do and the audiences changed from about 500 to thousands. Present entertainment to the people rather than preaching the Word of God, and your audiences will grow, but both you and your followers will go into damnation for lack of the pure Word of God. This is all antichrist! II Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (They and their followers perish.) Matthew 16:26 Jesus says: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? *** This same advertising agency told me: "We can fill Soldiers and Sailors Auditorium in Pittsburgh for you, all you have to do is don't say anything unpopular on your radio broadcasts." I am a prophet of Jesus. When God showed me to begin to speak judgment messages, warning the church, radio stations began threatening me and some started putting me off the air. The radio station manager at Seattle said to me, "Joan ... you have many wonderful messages. Just speak those messages. If you keep speaking these judgment messages, I don't know what is going to happen to you. We might have to put you off the air." The Holy Spirit spoke through me: "George ... if I don't speak the message that I believe to be from God then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air." *** The apostle Paul said: Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

(This podcast was previously published on, June 4, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever. What is "The fear of the Lord"? When we "fear the Lord", we know that God knows all things, (present, past, and future). We are afraid to go against that which God tells us, for we know we bring destruction upon ourselves if we depart from the law and wisdom of God to go in the way of men or to do that which we prefer doing. Therefore, "the fear of the Lord" keeps us in the path of God. Truly, "the fear of the Lord" is the beginning of wisdom. When a man sees this word which Jesus said, "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." (Matthew 5:32) That man who sees this word of Jesus and has "a fear of the Lord" will not dare to divorce a faithful wife for he knows if he chooses to go against what Jesus says, he will bring destruction upon himself and destroy himself on this earth and he will not prosper in his way. Even when he seems to prosper, he will be destroyed in the time to come. When a man is looking for a wife and sees this word which Jesus spoke, and that man has "a fear of the Lord", that man will not even date the woman who has been divorced for fear that he might end up marrying her and bringing destruction upon himself by choosing to go in a way opposite to that which Jesus said in the Holy Bible. Therefore "the fear of the Lord" keeps us from going in a way of destruction which is opposite to that which God said to us.

(This podcast was previously published on, June 3, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Joseph's brothers were envious of him and they sold him into slavery when he was only 17-years-old! But God caused Joseph to prosper everywhere he went. Genesis 39 1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. 2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. 5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. 6 And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. ***** Genesis 39 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, 14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. 20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. 21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. 23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper. Later Joseph said this to his brothers who had sold him into slavery: Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

(This podcast was previously published on May 31, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... John 14:1-6 Jesus says ... Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in ME. In MY Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto HIM, Lord, we know not whither THOU goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME. The way is "The Word" of God. When we hear from God the Father, we have "The Word" which is the way to God. Jesus is The Word. From the beginning Jesus was "The Word". Jesus was with God as "The Word" even before Jesus came to this world in the form of Jesus a man. Today, Jesus is The Word that was with God from the beginning. John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 10-14 HE (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not. 11 HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not. 12 But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on HIS name (The Word): 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ***** Galatians 5 (works of the flesh vs. works of the Spirit) 19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (following that which the Spirit shows us to do at that specific point in time.)

(This podcast was previously published on November 24, 2020) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Both Peter and Jude warned us there would be false teachers among the churches in the end times. (II Peter 2 & Jude) Jesus also warned us about the people who come to us in the last days, saying, "Jesus is Lord." Because they say HE is Christ, they will deceive many. (Matthew 24:1-4) In November, 2020, a man sent me an email identifying himself to me as being a pastor. He told me how much he liked my book, Preparing Yourself for the Return of Jesus. (Amazon) He asked me to send him more books for his church and for his pastors. I explained that Amazon does not give me books and that he would have to get my books directly from Amazon. I also explained that Amazon allows us to give free e-books which he would need to order from Amazon. In his next letter, he signed his name "Reverend". I responded by telling him no man should call himself "Reverend". Jesus called HIS ministers as follows: Ephesians 4:11-12 And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: There is only one time the word "Reverend" is used in the Bible. Psalm 111:9 HE (God) sent redemption unto HIS people: HE hath commanded HIS covenant for ever: holy and reverend is HIS (God's) name. This man responded immediately saying he agreed and he would remove the name "Reverend" and tell his pastors to remove the name "Reverend" and he was sorry he had done this. But he twisted everything and said we should not use the name "Pastor" either. I told him immediately that it is proper to use the name "Pastor" for Jesus HIMSELF called HIS ministers by the names: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher (Ephesians 4:11) But not "Reverend". ***** The next letter he sent to me he signed his name, "Evangelist". I wrote to him immediately, trying to straighten this out. I tried to help him see the difference between Evangelist and Pastor in the calling of Jesus. Evangelist goes from city to city speaking to the world salvation through Jesus. Pastor usually works with one church group in one city, giving them teachings from the Bible. *** In his next letter, he signed his name, "Brother in Christ". In that letter he asked me to pray that God would provide for him a computer and a projector. He explained that it was very hard to share my teachings with his church group without a projector. I sent him the following letter. Matthew 11 Jesus says: HIS yoke is easy. So if something is difficult you can know you are trying to do something you should not be doing. Therefore if it is hard to share my teachings, just share Bible. Joan Boney *** In his next email, he asked me to send him a computer and a projector. I responded: "If I were you, I would get a part time job or a job at night and work until I had enough money to buy a computer and projector." Joan Boney *** He responded that he could not do secular work because it took all his time to do the ministry work. I thought of the apostle Paul who did secular work as a tent maker and still went from church to church speaking as an apostle and teacher. In this letter, he asked me if I would send him a computer that we are not using. *** I turned to God and asked God: "What do YOU want me to do?" I had the answer rather quickly. I sent email to this man as follows: "I see you as a beggar, thief, and extortioner. And if you choose to go this way, you doom yourself to always being a beggar, thief, and an extortioner." Joan Boney (It was clear that this man did not turn to God over his needs but turned to humans for them to supply his needs.) *** The apostle Paul says: I Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 13 put away from among yourselves that wicked person. This is what I will do with this man. ***** In this man's first letter to me, he placed an attachment showing an outline of subjects and scriptures which he planned to teach to his church group the next Sunday. How could a man this confused in thinking write such a clear, concise outline? I wondered. Then I realized he probably didn't write that outline. It was probably another person's outline which he planned to teach to his church group. ***** This is just one example of how very mixed up preachers are today in church groups. When a man has no understanding, I do not believe "that man" is from God. When we have the Spirit of Truth in us, HE will teach us all things, remind us of all that Jesus has said to us, guide us into all truth, and show us things to come. John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Jesus says: Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

(This podcast was previously published on May 23, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Something happened on 5-19-2021 that was very unexpected! I live in the home of Pam Padgett from our little church group. Pam discovered water coming from her water heater into the basement and she arranged for a plumber to bring her a new water heater and install it that same day. Plumber noticed my old car sitting in driveway and he said, "If you ever wanted to sell it, I would be very interested in buying it." He has a 12 year old son who has CP (cerebral palsy), and he needed a bigger car. At this point he doesn't have a car but they use his plumbing trucks to get around. It is hard for his son to get into those vehicles so he wanted a car that sits lower to the ground. After he changed the water heater, he took the car out for a test drive. The car runs great so I knew there would be no problem. It is a 1994 Lincoln Town Car ... huge trunk which can easily carry his son's wheelchair. The car was no burden to us but it had to sit outside all the time and I really wanted the car to have a place in winter, although it managed 2 winters just fine and we never had any problem at all starting car. While he was test driving the car, I had decided that if he made an offer on the car, I was going to give him the car. I told Pam to bring him in to see me if he made an offer. He told Pam he wanted the car and he said "Why don't you take the water heater and then I'll also give you some cash for the car." Pam said, "You need to see Joan." He presented the water heater plan to me and I said, "No, I want to give you the car." He was very shocked! I said, "We can afford to pay for the water heater. You just take the car." I told him we would pay him for the water heater and for him to just take the car for his son. He just couldn't believe this was happening. He said no one had ever given him anything before. He said he would tell his son I had given him the car. I said, "No ... tell your son God gave him the car. For I had just asked God what HE wanted me to do about the car." He said he knew when he got home his son would be outside polishing the car immediately (he can't walk but he has use of hands) His dad said he thinks the son will be able to drive that car for he has use of his right leg and right hand. So dad will start teaching him to drive, and when he is little older he should be able to get a driver's licenses even though he can't walk. (That's going to be one happy kid!) Dad said they go up in the mountains every week end and he was sure they would take the car up there this week end. I'm glad for the car! We had to take car out about every two weeks for a "walk" just to keep up battery and tires. Last time we went to get food, I noticed the old car which was parked in the driveway and saw how low to ground it had gotten and I told Pam it was time again to take the car for a walk. Pam said we just got car license registration notice a couple of days ago and she hadn't sent in the fee yet. (only $70) The plumber said he noticed in the car a book with my name on it and he asked if he could take that book with the car. (And I had already told Pam to give him "Building your house on the word of God.") Of course he can have both books. I wrote out the name of our blog and also told him of Podcasts. He asked, "Do you do the recordings?" I said, "Yes" and pointed to the microphone which sits by me. I had just asked God a few days ago if there was anything I should do with the car. Insurance is only $100 per year as attached to Pam's insurance. So there was never any pressure to get rid of the car. It's just that I hated to have car just sitting there unused. It's fun for me to think of the car having a good home and getting to go out for rides and even getting to go into mountains. I had him take my Texas license plates off the car and leave them for me. They were expired but we had not changed to Colorado (we had current Colorado plates in the car trunk). It will be fun for me to think of his son with the car. The dad is only 48 but he looks a lot younger. He told me he spent 18 years in the Navy ... broke his neck ... had to retire from Navy ... got a job at Fort Carson Army base ... was making $100,000 a year. But he never got to see his son or daughter because he got home so late. So he quit his job and decided to put in his own plumbing business. He was scared at first but it has worked out well for him. He said his dad had a plumbing business and he had worked as a plumber since he was 8 years old so he decided to give it a try. I told him if he and children were ever in neighborhood, come in. (I could see a few things about the moving of God which I will explain in this Podcast.)

(This podcast was previously published on May 28, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The shepherd of the sheep has a cane with a hook on one end whereby he can grab stray sheep and pull those sheep back to places of safety. Otherwise when that sheep wanders off the path, a lion might feast on that sheep. I Peter 5:7-9 Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. God's rod and staff that keep us on the highway of God are the Holy Scriptures, the Word from God. The scriptures are the highway signs showing us the way to go if we drift off the road.
