    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 8, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Flesh loves to praise other flesh.  Often when we think of a human, that we admire and of all the things that person has accomplished, we are nearly swept away.   Then the Holy Spirit will say to me, concerning that person who has died, "But where is that person now?"   All that matters is: "Was that person a godly person?   If you want to give something to your children, give your children an example of a godly life in Christ Jesus.   This is the greatest gift you could ever give to your children.   There is a business which can trace your ancestry and often can tell you which country your relatives lived in before coming to America.   But all that matters to me about my ancestors is this:  Were they godly people?  Did they belong to God?  Did they serve God?   This is the important thing for each of us.    *****   Concerning money:   I Timothy 6   5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.   6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.   7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.   8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.   9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.   10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.   11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.   12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.   17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;   18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;   19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.   ***   Romans 2   12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;   13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.   14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:   15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 19, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    When the sun goes completely dark in the middle of the day ... we will know Jesus is on His way   The following will happen on this earth:  The powers of heaven shall be shaken.    Jesus describes it as follows:   Matthew 24    29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   At the end, the powers of heaven shall be shaken:   In the 1980's, I had a dream where the earth slipped on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men were meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done.  A television newscaster was trying to give a report on TV, but he became so frightened that he could not speak so he just got up in the middle of the broadcast and walked off the stage.   Nothing could be done about this event and it affected everyone on this present earth.   A woman in our church group reported to us this dream:  She and her husband were going out to buy a new TV.  She was at the car waiting for her husband.  All of a sudden the sky went totally black.  She was terrified.  She started to run back into the house but instead she just fell down on her knees.   ***   Jesus says:   Matthew 24:35   Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.   While land seems very important, it, too will pass away, as God destroys this present earth with fire.   II Peter 3:10   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   The only thing that will not pass away is the Word of God.   ***   Luke 21   25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.   27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.   33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.   34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.   35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   ***   Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 20, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Are you playing around with temptation?    We must not do that.  It can be deadly.   Proverbs 6   23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:   24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.   25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.   26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.   27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?   32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.   The apostle Paul explains:  At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh, even if you are having sex with a prostitute.    I Corinthians  6:16, 18   16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   *****   Romans 13:14   But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ (The Word), and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.   Keep before you day and night what God says in HIS Word concerning the area of temptation.   I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.   Take God's way of escape.   Proverbs 4   3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:   4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.   5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.   8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:   15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.   16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.   17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.   18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. ***   Proverbs 7   4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:   5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.   6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,   7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,   8 Passing through the street near her corner;   23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.   24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.   25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.   26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.   27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.   ***   I Corinthians 7   1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.   2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.   3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.   4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.   5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. ***   In every kind of temptation, pray, asking God for help to avoid the situation.    Keep scripture, that is brought to your mind by the Holy Spirit, before you day and night.   I Corinthians 6:19-20    Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.   ***   Hebrews 10   26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.   28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:   29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?   II Peter 2   20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.   21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.   22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.   Hebrews 6   4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,   5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,   6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put HIM to an open shame.   I Corinthians 5   1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.   2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.   3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,   4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.   11  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

    The Lord's Supper is the Word of God

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 17, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Each time we hear a word from God, believing that Word, doing that Word, examining ourselves by that Word, we partake of "The Lord's Supper."   The Lord's supper has nothing to do with crackers and grape juice served by man at church.   There is great power in eating and drinking the Word given by God.   There is no power at all in eating and drinking crackers and grape juice at churches.  That is set up by fleshly men and profits nothing.  You are no better if you partake and you are no worse if you do not partake.  It is nothing.   The church is built by that Word given by God.   Matthew 16:   13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, HE asked His disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?   14  And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.   15  HE saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?   16  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.   17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.   No man taught this to Peter but God revealed this to Peter.   18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.   The church is built upon "the rock" of that Word revealed by God.   The Word given by God is The Lord's Supper.   Jesus said:  For the bread of God is he (The Word) which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.  (John 6:33)   John 6:54-56  Jesus said:  Whoso eateth my flesh (The Word), and drinketh my blood (The Word), hath eternal life; and I (The Word) will raise him up at the last day.   55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.   56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I (The Word) in him.   *****   Dream:  September 6, 2020  The people were saved by a book given to them.  (I knew this book was The Word.)   *****   John 1   1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.   2  The same was in the beginning with God.   3  All things were made by HIM (The Word); and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.   4  In HIM (The Word) was life; and the life was the light of men.   *****   John 6   32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.   33 For the bread of God is HE (The Word) which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.   35 And Jesus said unto them, I (The Word) am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.   44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I (The Word) will raise him up at the last day.   45  It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of  (by) God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of (from) the Father, cometh unto me.   48 I (The Word) am that bread of life.   50 This (The Word) is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.   51 I (The Word) am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread (The Word), he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.   53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man (The Word), and drink his blood (The Word), ye have no life in you.   54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.   55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.   56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me (The Word), and I (The Word) in him.   63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.   The Lord's Supper is that Word spoken to us by God.   ***   I Corinthians 11   23  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:   24  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.   25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.   26 For as often as ye eat this bread (The Word), and drink this cup (The Word), ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.   27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread (The Word), and drink this cup of the Lord (The Word), unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.   28 But let a man examine himself (by The Word), and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (examining himself by The Word)   29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.   30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.   31 For if we would judge ourselves (by The Word), we should not be judged.   We judge ourselves by The Word of God.  We examine ourselves by The Word of God.   Romans 12:2   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   We renew our mind by The Word from God.   Before Jesus came to this earth in the form of a man, HE was The Word.  Jesus is The Word now, today.   Psalm 23:1  The Lord (The Word) is my shepherd.  I shall not want.   We see Jesus as "The Word."   The Lord's supper is The Word from God given to us to lead us and guide us and comfort us and save us.   *** I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   I Corinthian 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   ***   2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.  

    Jesus lives in God's children and HE speaks through us today, says Bible

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 15, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   These scriptures in Bible tell us God lives in each person who belongs to HIM.   *  I Corinthians 3:16-17  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.   * I Corinthians 6:19-20   What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.   * II Corinthians 13:5   Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?   It is not that we go to a church.  We are the church.  Jesus lives in us and guides us in the will of God and speaks through us by HIS Spirit who lives in us.   Examples in this Podcast:   *****   Jesus speaks through us:  Jesus says:   Matthew 10:19-20   But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.  For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.   Example:  Radio station manager in Seattle said to me, "Joan, you have many wonderful messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you continue to speak these 'judgment' messages, I don't know what will happen to you.  We may have to put you off the air."   Holy Spirit arose in me to speak the following to the station manager:  "George, if I don't speak the message I believe to be from God then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air." ***   Jesus says:   Luke 21:14-15   Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:  For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.   A Methodist woman was complaining about people who judge others.   The Holy Spirit arose in me to say:  "If you judge they are judging, aren't you judging?"   The woman gasped!  It was as if she were a balloon filled with hot air and someone stuck a pin in her. ***   I have learned not to plan ahead what I will say but rather to depend on God to remind me of that which HE wants me to say.  For I know the Holy Spirit of Jesus dwells in us to do the work of God through us, speaking as HE wills according to HIS purpose.   ***   Isaiah 55:8-13  God says ...  For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the Lord.   9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways, and MY thoughts than your thoughts.   10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:   11 So shall MY word be that goeth forth out of MY mouth: it shall not return unto ME void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.   12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.   13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.   ***    1 Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   *** Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  

    Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the works of the flesh

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 16, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we hear the Spirit of God as HE brings information to our mind, and we do that instruction, walking in the Spirit, we free ourselves from that which the flesh would have us to do.   For we can't go both ways.  If we obey the flesh, we deny the instruction of the Spirit.  And when we walk in the way of the Spirit, we keep the flesh crucified by the word of God.   The flesh is never good.  Flesh never improves.  We can control flesh by doing that shown us by God but our flesh never gets better.   The apostle Paul said:  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:  (Romans 7:18)   Galatians 5:19-21   Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft (superstitions), hatred, variance (to vary), emulations (to try to beat other people), wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   Humans often think man is basically good.   But God's view is:  Genesis 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.   Jesus said:  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.  (John 5:30)   It is when we hear from God and do that which God tells us to do that we do "good" on this earth. This is what we as Christians learn to do, follow the Spirit of Jesus WHO is in us.   Galatians 5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.    **** Romans 8   There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.   3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:   4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.   6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.   7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.   8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.   9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.     Ephesians 3: The "power of God" that works in us

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 24, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Ephesians 3:20  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.   I've often heard people ask, "What is that power that works in us?"   That "power" is the Holy Spirit given to the believer at the time God reveals HIMSELF to that believer.   The Holy Spirit in us is a great power:   * He teaches us all things. * He reminds us of that which Jesus has said to us. * He guides us into all truth. * He shows us things to come.   (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   He usually leads us by bringing thoughts or concepts to our minds.   He searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the specific issues of this life. (I Corinthians 2)   *** Acts 1   Jesus says to the early disciples.   5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.   8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.   ***   I John 2   20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.   27 But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM  

    People want a sure thing ... but our faith in that which God tells us is that sure thing!

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 11, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Pam Padgett, put her car up for sale.  Her neighbor was interested in buying Pam's car.  The neighbor borrowed the car and took it to her mechanic to examine the car.  That seemed so strange to me for she knows Pam well and should know Pam would conceal nothing from her concerning the car.  Further she knew Pam took good care of the car through the years and the car was priced at a low price for the quality of the car, $6,500.  A new car of the same model and equipment would cost $55,000.   The people who bought my house in Texas wanted a sure thing so they hired a man to inspect the house.  They seemed to need a guarantee from another human.  The inspector found a few very minor things wrong at the house.  (He was being paid to find things wrong, so of course he had to find things wrong to justify the amount he was being paid by the buyers.) The buyers could have fixed these things themselves but they wanted me to fix them.    So I just added $7,000 to the price of the house to allow me to fix these things.  I didn't know how much it would cost, so I had to guess at the cost, and I raised the price of the house to cover the cost.   It ended up costing less than $3,000 to fix the items.  The buyers could have saved $4,000 by just fixing these things themselves.   Being wise in your own eyes can cost you money.  But this is the way people of this world live.   Also the people who bought my house wanted a "warranty" which cost $600.  I added this to the cost of the house and these people ended up paying for that warranty themselves.   Recently I had some sound materials added to a car.  They tried to charge me $700 for insurance on the speakers.  I told them I did not want that insurance.  The way I live is this:  If I can afford to replace the item. I don't buy insurance.  If I cannot afford to replace the item, then I will consider insurance, such as on a house or medical supplement.  I had difficulty in getting the store manager to remove the insurance from the cost of the project.  But I insisted and he removed the insurance.   We had exactly the same problem when we purchased the car.  They wanted to add an extended warranty.  We insisted that they remove this.  They really fought us.  But we did get it removed.  The dealer must make a great deal by getting people to buy these "warranties".   Pam's neighbor, Jim, bought warranty on his house but he could never get them to fix anything.  When it broke, they just said, "The warranty does not cover that."   I manage to have money left over after purchasing something and I keep that money in my savings and pay for the item, if something goes wrong.  I find it is less expensive for me to do it that way.   But I find the people of this world usually want this world to protect them.  And often it ends up costing them more than it would have cost if they had just saved money to replace that item after the lifetime of the item.   Also when something goes wrong, the company issuing the "insurance" sometimes files bankruptcy if there are too many claims and they don't cover the warranty anyway.   It is better to trust in God than to put your trust in humans.   I like to be sure God is showing me to make "that" purchase.  That is my peace.  But this world has no peace in God.  Their peace is in their plans.  It is a very hard way of life. ***** Proverbs 3   5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.   6 In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.   7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil   *** Philippians 4:6-7   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. *** James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. ***  II Peter 3:14   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. ***   Does God approve the purchase you are considering?   To me, this is the starting point.  I ask God this question, "Should I buy this? or should I do this?   Examples: * Fireplace:  changing from gas to wood burning * Defective TV:  what God showed me to do James 3   17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.   James 3   14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.   15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.   16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.   If we are trying to impress someone, we are already in trouble.  My cleaning woman once came to me and said, "Don't you ever feel you have to keep up with the Joneses."  I was shocked, and replied, "NO". *** Psalm 51:10    Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.     ***   I do not buy anything unless I have the cash to pay in full for the item, and have cash left over after purchasing that item.   God told me this in 1975, when I was born again:  "Get out of debt ... and stay out of debt."   I did that by 1976 and have never been in debt again since that time, not even for a house.   I believe this is the better way to live. *** II Corinthians 5:10   For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. ***   God showed me incredible things to do which allowed me to accumulate money whereby I could afford to pay for things I never even thought of buying.   Ephesians 3:20   Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,   The power that "worketh" in us is the Holy Spirit who brings ideas to our minds.   * Houses * Sound equipment for car * Home theater equipment   ***   Revelation 18:11  And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:   ***     Ephesians 1:12-14   That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye  heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.  ***   John 14:26  Jesus says ...     (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 12, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Ezekiel 7:19   They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.   *** Luke 21   The powers of the heavens will be shaken ... before Jesus returns ...   11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.   (Hasn't Coronavirus helped us to see how it will be possible for such things to happen to the whole earth and lives to change on this earth?)   25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.   27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.    So how should we live between now and the time the sun turns dark in the middle of the day and the powers of heaven are shaken ... How does money fit in to all these things? *****   If you live in debt, you live in a worldly way.  You will be better off if you downsize as quickly as possible and get out of debt, if possible, before Jesus returns, and if you begin using this world without abusing this world.   ***   I Timothy 6   6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.   7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.   8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.   9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.   10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.   11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.   12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.   17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;   18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;   19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.   ***   Revelation 18  ... The fall of Babylon   Destruction of a great city during the great tribulation, that wrath of God that is coming upon this earth in the last days, before the heaven and earth are destroyed by fire from God.   1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.   2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.   3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.   4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.   5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.   6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.   7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.   8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.   9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,   10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.   11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:   Coronavirus gave us a glimpse of that which is to come.  Coronavirus was not the "fall of the great city" of Revelation 18, but don't we think of that which we saw in various cities around the world in 2020?  NYC closed.  Times Square was vacant!  Stores were closed.  No one bought their merchandise any more.   I think Coronavirus showed us how fast the destruction can happen!   12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,   13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.   14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.   They returned after Coronavirus, but in the great tribulation that is coming upon this earth, "they shall find them no more at all" ... and then the heaven and earth will be destroyed after the great tribulation ... destroyed by fire from God.  II Peter 3:10-14   15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,   16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!   17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,   18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!     Many Christians today suffer greatly because they fail to apply the Word of God to their own lives

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 25, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Christians often deceive themselves for they hear scriptures or read Bible, but they fail to do the Word spoken in the scriptures.  They fail to grow spiritually.  And like a baby, they can only take milk and not the strong meat of the word.   Hebrews 5   12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.   13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.   14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.   ***** My cousin, who is now 97 years old, has been in Church of Christ since she was a baby.  She faithfully attends their meetings.  But she does not apply basic scripture to her life.  And therefore she lives tormented.   Only when we apply scripture to our lives can we live in peace and joy, overcoming through God by the application of the Word to our lives.   Example:   My cousin told me she does well during the day but gets down emotionally in the evenings.  (Her husband died 10 years ago.)   I replied: "When you begin to feel the problem coming on, if you will turn to God and ask HIM for help, God will help you."   I shared the following scripture with her.   Philippians 4   6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   A few days after this, my cousin wrote to me and she said:  "I do well in the daytime but in the evenings, I have trouble."   This cousin will not apply the word of God in her own life.   She seems to trust in her church, but she shows that she does not trust in the Word of God.   When this is the case, the individual will grow weaker and weaker.   James 1:22   But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.   Also, concerning my cousin, I put her away from me, not communicating with her again because she had shown me she would not do that word I gave to her by the Spirit of God.   Titus 3   10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;   11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.   *** Examine yourself:  Which scripture are you trying to live right now?   If your mind is a blank and you are not trying to do any scripture, you are like a person who has fallen asleep ... dead and dying.   For our life is in Jesus, the Word.  In HIM there is life.   But if we are doing no "word", no scripture, where is the life?  It is probably in your church group.  For when you go to church you "feel" like you do good, but you grow weaker and weaker, often telling your problems to other people and burdening people with your troubles, rather than turning to God and growing in God as HE shows you what to do and you do what you feel God has shown you to do.   If you continue in that way of life, taking pleasure in your church rather than in the scriptures, God will turn you over to a strong delusion and will bring destruction upon you because you refused the love of the truth that you might be saved.   II Thessalonians 2   10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.   *** God turns them over to a reprobate mind who refuse to keep HIM (The Word) in their knowledge.   Romans 1:28    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; *** Every time we do a scripture, we are recreated in the image of Jesus, the Word.   During the early months of the Coronavirus in March, 2020, I began watching television news.  In a very few days, I found myself to be troubled, where before I had been living in peace.  The troubling was because of the newscasters, not because of the virus.  I found the newscasters trying to spread hatred against the President.  (I am very non political, but I do not want to hate whichever person is president.)  I knew I had to get myself free from television newscasts.   I saw a scripture which I knew would free me if I could "do" that scripture.   So I began keeping these verses before me day and night and doing the instructions.   Proverbs 1   10   If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.   15  Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:   16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.   I kept Proverbs 1 before me day and night.  I thought about it in the morning and again as I went to bed in the evening.  I began thinking of ways I could apply these instruction to my life.   In approximately two days, I removed all news channels from my TV guide.  So when I was looking for something to see on television, news channels did not appear on the viewing listing on screen.   I began reading Bible in the hours where I had been watching TV news.   In June, 2020,when I wondered what was happening with Coronavirus, what were the numbers in the cases, I had the following thought brought to my mind which I believe was from God.  "In September you'll be able to tell by the number of people who are in the football stadiums."  I knew if the fans were allowed back into the stadium, the situation was lessened.  I knew to control my curiosity and focus on my own life which was not changing at all by the virus.  I still read Bible, prayed, heard from God, wrote on our blog and recorded Podcasts.  Just keep doing your job!   So that is what I did.   Psalm 119:105   Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.   *** I'm still working on Proverbs 1:10;15-16 ... trying to order my life by these instructions.   I look at these 3 verses when I awaken each morning.  I think about what I am doing throughout the day, often structuring my activities by these verses, doing what they say to do.   When I go to bed at night, I look again at these verses ... thinking of, "Did I do these things this day?"   James 1:25   But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.   I just keep judging my life by Proverbs 1:10;15-16 ... doing those things appropriate to the instruction of these verses of scripture.   In time, I know there will be another scripture to do.  For now this is still the scripture for me to do.   I know the following is true:   Joshua 1   8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   I've been living this way for the past 40+ years and have had very good success and have grown in ways of God by living the various scriptures called to my mind by the Holy Spirit according to the needs in my life at that moment.   It is a great joy to me to have a scripture to follow ... or to have a word of instruction.   Also I am following these things:   * A word given to Pam Padgett in January 2020,   "Podcast"   Followed by a dream given to me in early February, 2020.  I opened my front door and kittens were everywhere.  Some were starving to death.  I went into my garage and there were more starving kittens, just waiting for me to feed them.   I prayed, asking God what this meant and I heard ... "The church"   I knew God was leading me to begin Podcasts to exhort the church.  So immediately we found how to do this, bought recording equipment, put these Podcasts on our daily blog, and we continue to present these exhortations for the church as I record, by faith, that which I believe God is showing me to record.   The following scriptures also lead me constantly and have for the past 40 years.   Hebrews 3   12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.   13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.   14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;   Hebrews 10:25    Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.   (exhort means:  to urge earnestly by advice and warning.)   So this is what I do.   What scriptures are you following at this point in time? ***   John 15  Jesus, the Word, says ...  I am the true vine, and MY Father is the husbandman.   2 Every branch in ME that beareth not fruit HE (God) taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, HE purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.   3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.   4 Abide in ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in ME.   5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in ME, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without ME ye can do nothing.   6 If a man abide not in ME, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.   ***   John 8:31-32  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on HIM, If ye continue in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.   ***    Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.    ***    Matthew 24:4-5  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.    *** Romans 7:2-3  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.   3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.   Matthew 5:32  Jesus says ... But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.    1 Timothy 5:22  Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 26, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Jesus said the powers of the heaven would be "shaken" ... And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  Luke 21:25-27   Many years ago, God gave me a dream where the earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  A newscaster was trying to report what happened but he was too frightened to continue his broadcast so he just got up and left ... The government leaders were meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this matter.   Nothing can be done by man to stop that which is coming upon this earth.   The thing the believers can do between now and then is to get their own lives in good spiritual condition ... for it is coming!   *****   Luke 21   Jesus says:   25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;    26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.   27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.   ***   First comes the signs in the heavens.   Peter spoke of this in the following scripture:   Acts 2   17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:   18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:   19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:   20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:   21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.   (The name of the Lord is "The Word of God" ... I believe Jesus is coming to take to Himself those who follow the scriptures and connect with God through prayer daily, settling all concerns with God in prayer.)   *** Joel 1   15 Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.   16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?   17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.   18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.   19 O Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.   20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.   In the first of the plagues that are to come in the great tribulation, we see "fire and hail" ... and we see trees and grass destroyed by that which God sends.   I think the cattle of the fields will suffer, as well as the humans, when the wrath of God comes upon this earth.   Those things coming are not caused by man but by God.  And no one can stop that which is ordained by God to come upon this earth.   ***   The first plague of the great tribulation:   Revelation 8   6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.   7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.   We can see how this could affect the pastures of the field and how Joel could have prophesied about the cattle as follows:   Joel 1   16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?   17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.   18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.   19 O Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.    20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.   ***   Joel 2   1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;   2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.   3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.   10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:   11 And the Lord shall utter His voice before his army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?   30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.   31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.   32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered:   (The name of the Lord is The Word.)   I think this shows us to follow the scripture right now, between this time and the coming of the various events where the heaven is shaken and Jesus returns.  For Jesus returns for the Word's sake and those who follow "The Word" will be gathered up unto Jesus in the air and removed from this earth.   ***   Joel 2:15   15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:   16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation,   I consider that I have been "blowing" one trumpet after another with these Podcasts.  I've even thought of these messages which God is currently giving me as trumpets sounding the alarm so that those who can see and hear can prepare themselves for that which is coming.   None of us know the exact day, month, year when the day of the Lord comes.  But Jesus keeps telling us it is like seeing the leaves on the trees for when these begin to show up don't we know the winter is ending and another season coming?   The increase in sins on this earth show us the wrath of God must not be too far behind for the wrath comes in order to judge the sins.   Joel 2:21  Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.   It reminds me of how the Lord did great things in Egypt and with Pharaoh in the plagues that God sent to judge the land of Egypt and to deliver the children of Israel in the Book of Exodus.   Joel 3    13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.   Revelation 14   6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,   7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.   8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.   9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,   10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:   11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.   12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.    13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.   14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.   15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.   16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.   17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.   18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.   19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.   20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.   ***   Joel 3   14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.   (The individuals who say they are Christians must decide to follow the Word of God, the Holy scriptures, and they must actually do the Word of God in all the days remaining on this earth.)   15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.   16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.   (The "Lord" is "The Word" ... The Word shall be the hope of His people.)   A great many church people today do not put their hope in The Word and they do not follow The Word.  They follow the doctrines of men and people in the church groups.  This will not work.   ***   I seem to recall many of the other of the Old Testament prophets speaking of the day of the Lord.  But I would think these scriptures would get your attention on the matter of  the coming great tribulation and the second coming of Jesus.   Luke 21   Jesus says:   33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.   34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.   35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always  ..... that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   (We need to watch that which we are doing ... and pray always, connecting with God, turning to God now, seeking HIS wisdom through prayer ... taking all our daily concerns to God one problem at a time and allowing God to show us what to do about the issue of this life which causes us concern... and then doing that which God has shown us to do.)   My concern is you, the church.  I am often troubled when individuals send me emails, for they think themselves to be religious, but I see problems because God shows me problems.  So I bring warning to you and ask God to help me concerning my trouble over you.  And each time I pray over the trouble you bring to me, God restores my soul.   Prayer is the way to go!   ***   Philippians 4   6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   *** II Peter 3    10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.    11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.    ***    Matthew 24:5  Jesus says ... For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ (they say "Jesus is Lord"); and shall deceive many.   Matthew 24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.   ***    Titus 3:10-11  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;   11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.   ***    1 Corinthians 15:33  Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.   ***   Here is a graphic illustration of the open vision God gave me on June 21, 2020 of the antichrist people who come to me saying they are Christians but they are really vermin.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 9, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    On January 10, 1980, God spoke to me in the night while I was sleeping, to give me words of instruction as follows:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"   By these words, God put me on radio to exhort the church.   One of the offices given me for the church by Jesus is the office of a prophet.  (Eph. 4:11)   Prophets are sent to the church.  But God says in the Bible the church will not receive the prophets that HE sends to them.  Also the churches kill the prophets by stopping them from speaking to the church.   So God put me on radio to speak to the church.   The church ministers and congregations could not censor my broadcasts although when I spoke judgment messages, after being on radio for approximately 3 years, some of the radio stations, two of which were owned by Jimmy Swaggart, put me off the air. *****   One other thing, I need to mention immediately, is this:    When I was born again in 1975, God led me to get out of debt and to stay out of debt.  If I had been in debt at any point in the next 40 years, I don't see how I would have been able to do the things God showed me to do.   *** Several years after radio,  God showed me in a dream to begin writing a blog.  (Starting in late March, 2012)   No one censors the blog so I write everything I believe to be from God.   Then God showed me to write ministry books on Amazon, beginning in 2015.   No one censors these books.   Then in 2020, God showed me to begin Podcasts, which we added in February, 2020.   No one censors these broadcasts.   These exhortation for the church go all over the world today on blog, by books, and by Podcasts.  They are free to all, and it costs the ministry almost no money to send these out by these methods!   And critical is the point that I am free to speak anything God gives me.     By prophets, God sends corrections and warnings to the church, so we who are prophets must be able to speak without censorship.  *** Through the years, the people who sent offerings decreased greatly.     But we have an abundance of money today, in spite of the small number of people who give us offerings, because God led me in a way whereby we prospered wonderfully! *** * 1984:  God led me to build an apartment on property owned by my dad. (Cost: $45,000, but my dad left me $50,000 so I could pay cash for this building and had no mortgage, no debt.)   * 1987:  Purchased lot on local golf course. (Cost. $13,250 ... paid cash)   * 1990: I sold apartment and built a house on golf course for my mother and myself. (Cost $100,000 ... paid cash)   * 2002: Sold house on golf course for $227,000.   * 2002:  Began construction on another house and moved to Lubbock, Texas.  (Paid cash, no mortgage, no debt ... used money from sale of previous house and I loaned the ministry all my personal money which was left to me by my family ... used this money for construction expense)   * Approximately 2003: Stopped receiving salary from ministry and paid for my personal expenses with money received from monthly USA Social Security.   * 2018:  Accidental fall at my house required me to have surgery.  By that time I was age of 81.  After surgery, moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to live in home of a member of body of Christ.  She didn't want any money for my room/bath at her home but I insisted on paying her $575 per month for this, which included office space for ministry.   * January, 2019: House in Texas put up for sale.    Until Texas house sold, we had to pay utilities and other expenses to keep up the house in Texas.  We also had new expenses in Colorado.  Because of my physical condition after surgery, I could not walk up the steps to get into Pam Padgett's house where I was living.  So we had a ramp installed which I paid for with personal savings.  We added a concrete slab for parking of my car.  I had to purchase a small sized bed for my room. And we had moving expenses for other furniture brought from Texas.   By this time, our offerings were so small that Pam and I had to pay for ministry expenses out of our own savings.  We knew we could repay ourselves after house in Texas sold.   * May 15, 2020:  House in Texas sold for $307,000.  This allow us to reimburse ourselves for expenses which we had paid during the previous 1 1/2 years.  And ministry still had $190,000 cleared from sale of the Texas house which we put into Money Market account at bank.   The various building projects between 1984-2003, started with a cost of  $45,000 and finished with profit of $285,000 after sale of Texas house.  (after title expenses and realtor fees which we paid on Texas house.) *** So through the accumulation of money each time we sold property, we have enough money now to pay for ministry even though we have only a few people giving offerings.   Through the past 40+ years I have never been a salaried minister at any church.  I have been kept free to speak anything God has given me to speak.  I had not had to hold back messages for fear of what they might do to me in those churches if I spoke the messages given to me by God.   God arranged it for me to freely operate in the office of a prophet.   Hebrews 13:5-6   5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.   *** I have endured much grief from people who say they are Christians, who have tried to stop me from speaking to the church as a prophet of God.   But God always provided ways for me to speak to the church through radio, through blog, through books, and now through Podcasts!   Through the years, many who once gave offerings to ministry left me and stopped giving money.   But God always saw that I had money and provided for all needs to be met even when there were less offerings.   The various houses which I built between the years of 1984-2002, ended up providing $190,000 to be used to support the ministry today, so there is no need.   And expenses for the ministry changed dramatically through the years, decreasing!   The exhortations go all over the world today and are available to all persons without charge.   * Blog:  no expenses to ministry * Books on Amazon cost us nothing to publish and we receive a small royalty each month for books that sell on Amazon.     * Podcasts: Cost $100 per year  to send through our podcast host, Podbean *** As you can see, God made a way for me to distribute exhortations and corrections to the church without being censored and even without expense to ministry.   God made a way for us to have money even with a very small number of people giving offerings.   God made a way for all messages to go all over the world without cost to us.   And when I am persecuted by the church people because of the messages I speak, God always restores my soul and sets me back on my feet and renews my joy in HIS Word.    (For it is a way of life for prophets of God to be persecuted by the church people because of the messages from God.  All through the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, we see the prophets persecuted by the churches and by the Jews, to whom God sends the prophets.) *** So God keeps me and leads me and continues to see that good comes to me on this earth.   And I am fully persuaded that God will continue to support me as long as HE chooses to leave me on this present earth.   Also I know all this was planned by God.  None of us could have planned these things.  Only God knows what is in the future.   Only God knew that there was going to be Internet, blogs, podcasts, and e-books.  None of these things existed in 1980 when I began in ministry.   God had every step planned and all I had to do was follow God:  "One step at a time.  One step at a time.  It is enough."  God said to me.   And that is all you have to do.  Follow what God shows you, one step at a time.  Then as you look back, you will rejoice in God, in that which God showed you to do, and not in that which "you" did.   ==   Ezekiel 2:3-7   And HE said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against ME: they and their fathers have transgressed against ME, even unto this very day.   4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God.   5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.   6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.   7 And thou shalt speak MY words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.     2 Timothy 4:14-15 Paul warned of an offender by name ... Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: 15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.     Ephesians 4:8,11-12  Jesus sets ministers in the church ... Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.   11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:     2 Corinthians 6:14   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 7, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    It doesn't matter what we think about homosexuals and lesbians.  We will be judged by what God says about this subject in the Bible.   II Corinthians 5   9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him.   10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.   11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;   So what does God say in the Bible concerning homosexuals & lesbians?   *****   Romans 1   18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;   19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.   20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   *** And when the homosexual or lesbian says, "He was just born that way."   Jesus says:   Mark 10   6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.   *** If God reveals HIMSELF to a homosexual or a lesbian, that person will then repent and conform to the truth of the Bible and will turn from that former sin and walk in a new way, being born again.   II Corinthians 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 6, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Iniquity is abounding today.  That is a main sign of the coming of Jesus and the coming of the wrath of God.  And because of the abounding iniquity, the love of many will wax cold.  He that endures will be saved.  Mt. 24:12-13   What are you doing to endure? ***** Matthew 24  Jesus says:   12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.   22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.    ***   Do you recognize the iniquity that is in our churches today and in the world?   Or are you just trying to see good in everyone?  If that is the case you will destroy yourself.  So you must awaken and "fight" to hold on as the evil around us increases.   *** The tribulation that is coming is even worse than that flood that destroyed this world in the days of Noah.   Genesis 6   5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.    6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.   7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth;   Why is the coming tribulation sent by God even worse than the flood that destroyed the people in the days of Noah?  Read Revelation 8-16 to see the woes and plagues that God is sending before God destroys this present heaven and earth.   *** The coming "great tribulation".   I Thessalonians 5   1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.   2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.   3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.   (In many parts of the world homosexuals live in a type of peace and safety never before seen and the various countries forbid the speaking against them through what Bible says in Romans 1:26-27, and they even marry one another in ceremonies as do men and women.)   Romans 1:26-27   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   Before God destroyed Sodom, homosexuals were in every part of the city of Sodom and they gathered to have sex with the angels who came to destroy Sodom.  (Genesis 19)   *** I Thessalonians 5   4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.   5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.   6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.   7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.   8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.   9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,   Jesus Christ, the Word, saves us from that wrath of God that is coming upon this earth, if we live in the Word and hold onto the Word; otherwise we will go down also with this world.   ***   But the sins shown in the New Testament Bible are rarely mentioned in the churches today.   When was the last time you heard your preacher speak against specific sins?   Yet Paul said:   I Corinthians 6   9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   Revelation 22   14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.    15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.   *** Jesus says:   Luke 21   33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.   34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.   35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   *** So how are we to escape that which is clearly upon this world and the worldly church groups?   "Watch and pray" ...   Allow yourselves to awaken to that which is going on today.  Pray, asking God what you should do to escape that iniquity when you see that iniquity.     No one knows the exact time of the end but we do know how we must be living at the time it starts to come:  Peter tells us.   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.  ***    I John 2:18    Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   ***    Genesis 19:4-5  But before they (the angels sent by God to bring Lot out of Sodom and to destroy Sodom) lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:   5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them (have sex with them).  ***   2 Thessalonians 2:3   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, (churches falling away from scripture) and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (antichrist);

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 5, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    A divorced woman went to a pastor to see if she could remarry.  The pastor said, "My sister is divorced and remarried.  I don't see anything wrong with this."  So this divorced woman remarried.   Later this divorced/remarried woman saw what the Bible says about divorce and remarriage, and she was furious with that pastor who failed to tell her what the Bible says.   What the Bible says: *****   Jesus says to the men:   Matthew 5:32    But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   * The woman who is faithful and marries another man after divorce, commits adultery, but her husband who divorced this faithful wife will be the cause of her adultery.   * The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.   *** Concerning women, Paul says the following is "a commandment of the Lord."   I Corinthians 7   10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   *** Mark 10   1 And HE (Jesus) arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto Him again; and, as HE was wont, HE taught them again.   2 And the Pharisees came to Him, and asked Him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting HIM.   3 And HE answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?   4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.   5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.   6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.   7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;   8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.   9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   10 And in the house His disciples asked Him again of the same matter.   11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.    12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   ***   God hates divorce:   Malachi 2   14 Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.   15 And did not HE make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That HE might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.    16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that HE hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.   ***   Paul warns:  At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one.   I Corinthians 6   15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.   16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit,   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   ***    Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.   

    A battle for our spiritual life

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 4, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   On May 30, 2020, I was dealing with a scripture and I spent several minutes with that scripture, but by evening I wanted to avoid an evil and couldn't recall that scripture.  I was amazed at how fast that scripture had left me.  I couldn't even think of a key word in the 3 verses of that scripture.  So I returned to that scripture that night and got a "key word" into me concerning the subject.   The following morning, I thought about the troubling subject and immediately part of this scripture arose in my mind.  (Proverbs 1  "Their feet run to evil.")   That scripture had begun growing inside my heart!    But there are 3 verses in the concept and I knew I would need to spend more time on all the verses to really have this planted deeply in me so I could actually do these instructions in my life.   I need to alert us to this subject for I know we often deceive ourselves concerning scripture.   Here are specific, detailed examples of getting the word of God deeper in us so we can withstand the temptations and problems that would carry us away from the way of God in the matter at hand and bring destruction to us, to our souls. *****   The subject I was trying to break away from had to do with the evil concepts that were coming to me through watching television news.   The scriptures that would uproot this are as follows:   Proverbs 1   10   If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.   15 Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:   16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. *** First, there is an enticement:  Our flesh is tickled someway by the subject.  Many people love to watch movies which have "spicy" scenes between a man and a woman.    I have a strong sense of "justice" inside me ... where you want to see issues put right.  But often both sides are wrong in these worldly matters and you can bring no real judgment.   To help me with this, God brought to me the following scripture several months ago:   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   We want to see righteousness on this present earth.  But that will never happen.  It is in at the new heavens and the new earth "wherein dwelleth righteousness."     So by this concept, God showed me I must not frustrate myself by the unrighteousness of this world for this world can never be righteous.   (Often both sides are evil though both sides try to justify themselves.)   For example:  In the March 2020 killing of the black man by a police officer in Minneapolis, we witnessed evil done by the police.   And in the protestors we also witnessed evil as some sought vengeance by their own methods, while vengeance belongs to "The Lord".    Also protestors began burning buildings and looting businesses and carrying away merchandise for themselves which was evil from their own hearts.   And the newscasters "ran to the evil", delighting in telling the story and showing the evils of both sides, though they often called the evil of the protestors "grief". (a lie)   The protestors were venting evil in multiple ways.  And the politicians and newscasters were tying to justify the evil of the protestors by calling it "grief".   Malachi 3:17    Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and HE delighteth in them;   If we call evil good, as did these politicians and newscasters over the protestors, it is a grief to the righteous and even more a grief to God.   These protestors all over the USA didn't even know this man who was killed.  It was just an evil in the hearts of the protestors.    (To me all this was a preview of the evils that will come from man when God brings the great torments of the end time great tribulations, the various plagues.  The men of this world did not repent.  Revelation 8-16)   But above all, I have to keep my own heart with all diligence, and as I saw the various evils from both the police and the protestors, I was tormented.  So the viewing of this had the potential of harming me.  It all had to be uprooted from my heart in a spiritual way.   Proverbs 1 had the power to uproot this and settle me and keep my heart in the way of God.  But I must get the scriptures stronger inside of me which requires more times with each line of scripture in the issue.   *  v. 10   If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.   I must be willing to see both sides as "sinners".  I must refrain from my desire for justice, knowing that the righteousness I seek will be in the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  For justice falls very short between both sides in this story and to allow myself to be "enticed" will only trouble me.  So I must turn away from these stories and refuse to be involved in that which I cannot deal with concerning evil in this world.   And I must realize newscastors desire to entice their viewers.   entice:  attract or lure you into the situation, causing you to want more, trapping you   I must avoid the enticement and turn away in order to keep myself in the way of God.  (controlling my own flesh which wants to be involved)   So I must depart from the sinner (the newscaster) who would entice me ... and I must refuse to allow my own flesh to seek more.   All this can be done by turning to God and asking God to help me and by meditating on the specific scripture which deals with the matter, in this case Proverbs 1:10, 15-16, keeping that scripture before me "day and night" until it grows strong in me and leads me in the correct way and causes me to do that which is right in my life.    *** *  v.15 Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:    Don't put yourself in "the way" where you are with them.  Avoid "the path" where they are.   *** * v.16  For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.   Know they run to evil ... we want to flee evil.  They delight in the evil stories.  They delight to show evil and be a part of the evil.  And by their opinions, they shed blood, and make haste to shed blood.   We, who belong to God, should not live this way.   *** Joshua 1   7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law (the scriptures pertaining to the problem), which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.   8 This book of the law (those scriptures that deal with the evil) shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   9 Have not I commanded thee?   Know that it is God who is commanding us by those specific scriptures which deal with the problem.   Keep those scriptures pertaining to the subject at hand day and night.  Focus on them multiple times throughout the day.  Consider what you have to do in order to do these instructions.  And keep these verses in front of you until you are completely established in the issue, whether it be a day, a month, or a year.    ***  Know that Satan comes to steal those scriptures and that way of God from you.  So get those scriptures planted deeply inside of you.   Mark 4  Jesus says:   14 The sower soweth the word.   15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.   16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. (and they turn from the word)   18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.   20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.    So we must consider that which would keep us from fulfilling that word and remove that obstacle from us.  It could be a thing that we are doing that harms us or it could be a person we are allowing to influence us in a direction away from the instruction given by God.  Keep our focus on that Word from God and refuse to allow any thing to steal that word from us and to cause us to go another direction.   It is a war, a battle!  It is a battle for our very soul.  And our weapon that we fight with is the word from God.    Nothing and no person is more important than our own soul.   Doing the word is our life.   *** Romans 1:25-27  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.     God causes us to have an abundant life

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 3, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Humans seek riches but God causes His people to have an abundant life through following HIM. ***** Proverbs 2   6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of HIS mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.   7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: HE is a buckler (shield) to them that walk uprightly.   (The WORD God gives to us shields us from perversions and wrong ways.)   8 HE keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints.   *** Every time we hear a Word from God and think on that Word and do that Word, we are shielded from the way that would harm us and we are taken in a way that blesses us.   As we draw nearer to the return of Jesus, we set our goal to be found by Jesus in peace, without spot, and blameless.  (II Peter 3:14)   As we think on those words God gives us and do them, they take us in the ways of God and keep us from the ways of men.   We fight the concepts of men which are opposite to the way of God.   One of the most important things for us to do is to search out the Word from God and meditate on that Word and do that Word.   If we have caught our foot in a harmful net, God has a way of escape for us.  As we do that shown us by God, we remove ourselves from that "net" that binds us to the evil of man.   I Corinthians 10:13   There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.   First we see that there is no trap that is too strong for us.  God does not allow that.  We are able to get free.   Second, God knows what we need to do to free ourselves.   *** Humans stumble about not knowing what causes them to stumble.  But we have the power through God to see what it is that is causing us to slip.  And when we do see that, God also shows us how to avoid the trap so we can go in a straight way of good and not in evil.   *** John 10:10   Jesus says:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   When we go in the way of the flesh or devils, we are harmed.  When we go in the way of the scriptures and the concepts brought to our minds by the Spirit of God we move into a more abundant life and avoid the traps.   Psalm 1    1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.   (We choose not to place ourselves in their paths.)    2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.    3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.   ***   Proverbs 1   10 If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.   15 Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.   Examples:  (Comments by Joan Boney)   During the Coronavirus of 2020, I became interested in following the happenings on television newscasts on CNN.   But I found the commentators trying to stir me up in political ways to cause me to hate the government leaders in USA.   Also I found them trying to make me think it would be good to "follow the science", which can seem to be perfect.   (I knew this was not true for I know scriptures where Paul warned Timothy not to follow science, so called.)   I Timothy 6:20   O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:   As I heard various doctors and scientists speak, I could tell they really didn't know what to do.  They speculated.  But the thing that was so bad is the newscasters and governors of states felt wise by that which these men of science and medicine were saying.  And the newscasters were condemning others who questioned this way and they were even scorning those who choose to go in another way.  And I could see they considered themselves wise in their own eyes in that which they were promoting.  Also I could see them covering themselves by what the data reported, not risking their own opinion before other people.   (I knew all these ways were against that which I read in Bible.)   * Bible teaches me to seek my wisdom from God who made heaven and earth and knows all things.   * I know how to seek wisdom from God and how to recognize that wisdom that comes to me from God.   Then I began to see these newscasters as hollow, dead men and dead women. (people without souls)   When I realized I needed to stop listening to them daily as I had been doing, my flesh resisted for it was being "tickled" by these newscasts.   I turned to God for help in escaping.    God did two things to get me loose from them.    * I became more deeply involved in Bible and exhortations and the time I was focusing on Bible ran into that news hour which I had been watching on TV.   * On one day when I finished my Bible and exhortations early, I had extra time on my hands where I could have watched the newscast as I had been doing.  So what was I to do with the time?  I asked God.  And the concept came to me:  "Take a shower and wash your hair."  I did that and found it ate up the time and I no longer had interest that day in seeing what the world was doing.   (God knows the way of escape that will work for each of us.)   And after I did what God showed me I realized I had entered into doing the scriptures:   Proverbs 2:10-12   If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.  Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.   (Their feet do run to evil.  They can't wait to tell their enticing stories and shed the blood of other men with their own wisdom.  I had avoided walking in the way with them by doing that which God showed me to do.)   I Timothy 6:20   O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:   Pam Padgett, member of body of Christ, also said to me that she could tell she was being corrupted by seeing newscasts.  She was reminded by this scripture:   I Corinthians 15:33  Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. *** Another example of following God into abundance:   The ministry owned a house in Texas where I had lived for almost 20 years.  When I was shown to move to Colorado in 2019, I put the house in Texas up for sale.  It did not sell and 1 1/2 years passed.    In March, 2020, at the height of the Coronavirus shut down in USA, I turned to God in prayer asking God if there was anything I should do about that house in Texas.   Immediately, the concept was brought to my mind to reduce the price of the house and put it on a "special" sale for one-week.   I took this action and the house sold within 2 days.   But the selling price seemed so low.   However, when the money came to the ministry, it seemed there was so much money even with the low selling price.  I was really shocked when we began working with that money.  I had loaned the ministry almost all the money left to me by my dad.  I was able to repay myself.  I was able to repay Pam Padgett for all the extra ministry expenses incurred in the 1 1/2 years that the house did not sell.  I was able to give gratuities to 5 people who helped with the house: my contractor, my former housekeeper, a real estate advisor, and 2 former realtors who had shown the house several times.  And even after paying all these things, we deposited $190,000 in the ministry bank account from the sale of the house.   The sale price seemed to be so little but it provided so much money when it was divided up.   This is like the story of the loaves and fishes:   (There seemed to be so little but they fed so many and had 12 baskets left over.)   Matthew 14   15 And when it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.   16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.   17 And they say unto Him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.   18 He said, Bring them hither to me.   19 And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.   20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.   21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.   It can seem to be so little, but end up being so much!   ***   I Timothy 2:1-2  Paul said ... I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.   ***  Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.    ***    I Corinthians 5:9-13  Paul said ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.   ***    Deuteronomy 28:13  And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:   ***    Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   ***    James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.   ***    Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 2, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    As I understand it, a humanitarian promotes the thinking that man is fundamentally good, that he just needs to be taught.     I used to think that way before I was born again and read the Bible. The Bible shows us the truth from God's view so we can come to agree with God's thinking on the issues at hand.   So what does God say in the Bible about man? ***** Genesis 6   5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.   6 And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.   (I find it grieves me also when I see the wickedness of man.)   7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.   8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.   ***   Humans want to be "as gods", knowing good and evil:   Genesis 3   1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. This is the true God, and eternal life.   21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.  ***   God judges the world.  We are to judge the church:   I Corinthians 5   1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.   2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.   3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,   4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,   5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.   11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.   12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without?  (We do not judge the world.) do not ye judge them that are within? (We are to judge the evil in the church.)   13 But them that are without God judgeth.   Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.   (We have to judge that "brother" in the church when he is doing evil.)   *** Also we have to walk away from the evil done in this world when we see that evil.   We have often made the mistake of thinking we can change the evil.  (I've done this in past in the church.)   But as we grow closer to the end and the return of Jesus, we must be aware of keeping ourselves  that we not allow ourselves to be swept away by the evil that men do.   Before the Coronavirus, I rarely looked at any TV newscast.  I sometimes checked the written headlines of news on internet without taking into my own heart the evil being done by men in this world.   During Coronavirus, I began watching TV newscasts to see what was happening in this very unusual event.   But I became aware that I was living more in disturbance than I was living in peace.   I am also very aware that I do not have to judge this world.  (I Corinthians 5 tells us that.)   Therefore I do not have to take sides, as the newscasters would try to get us to do.  I can refuse to judge the matter and change the TV to another channel, preferably one showing animals, dogs and cats!  (When I view animals on TV I have peace and joy.)   So I have begun "watching myself" and keeping myself from being pulled into worldly conflicts for these things bring destructions to both sides in the issue, neither side being godly.   For example:  In May, 2020, in Minneapolis a policeman contributed to the death of a black man by putting his knee on the neck of the black man's neck while the black man said he was in pain and couldn't breath.   Then the protesters arose to seek vengeance for the death of the black man.  I was aware of the evil being done also by the protesters, for I know the scriptures:     Hebrews 10   30 For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord.    We can simply refuse to judge the world, walking away, knowing God will judge everyone involved on both sides and God knows the hearts of all in the issue at hand which we do not know.  And we are told not to judge the world, but we are to judge the church.  I Corinthians 5.   Romans 12:19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.   But if there is evil in the church, we must judge that evil, refusing to keep company with that evil doer when he is called a brother and is doing evil, as Paul told us.   I Corinthians 5:11    But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.     *** In the end time, what is important for us?   II Peter 3   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   So keeping ourselves is that which is important.  To do that we  must  judge  the "wicked brother" in the church ... but we must not put ourselves in a position  where we are  "taking sides" in the world.   And we must walk away after we see church people doing evil.   Titus 3:10-11  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;   (If they don't turn at your first and second admonition, just walk away from them, knowing they will not turn.)   11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.   Don't keep trying to correct that church person.  After the first and second admonition to him,  reject him.  Just stay away from him. ***   In the Bible, we are told to pray for "the king" and those in authority ... but we are not told that we have to vote for him.     I Timothy 2   1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;   I had a Baptist friend who was the most political person I've ever met.   She rejoiced that she could register her granddaughter to vote for the worldly elections at her Baptist church.    (I was horrified that a church would do such a thing.)   Later I shared I Timothy 2:1 with her.  I told her I thought this would help her concerning her political angers.   She said it did help.   A few years later, she told me she had come to realize there is no solution in politics.   We, who are born again, are as strangers and pilgrims as we pass through this world.   Hebrews 11   13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.   14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.   15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.   16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.   Work constantly to "live in peace", without spot and blameless in the sight of God.   ***   Matthew 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 29, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Nothing makes me happier than hearing a word from God and following that word and then sharing that word with the church.   Truly it is in God we live and move and have our being!  Acts 17:28   We can look at television and occasionally find something we enjoy.  But most of the time I'm just switching channels.   But the word from God is life.  And by that word I have hope in the various circumstances of this life, and am comforted, and know what to do. *****   Titus 3:9-11   9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.   10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;   (heretic:  a person who refuses the power of truth in the matter at hand; in our case, church goers who will not obey the scriptures)   11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.   When a church goer demonstrates a rejection of the scripture, you will not be able to change him.  He will pull you down.  When he demonstrates to us that he does not regard specific instructions whereby he can be helped, we must walk away, leaving him to his own way of thinking.   ***   Romans 8:14    For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   ***    Matthew 5:32   But I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   ***   Paul said:   II Thessalonians 2    3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;    (Churches would "fall away" from scripture and set up another doctrine.  NASB calls this falling away, "the apostasy".)    4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   When a "brother" in the church is committing specific sins, put him away from you and refuse to keep company with him.   I Corinthians 5    1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.   2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.   3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,   4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,   5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.   6 Your glorying is not good.     Our flesh wants to glorify itself!

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 31, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Jesus made Himself of no reputation and even came to earth in the form of a human.  And because Jesus obeyed God, HE was given a name that is above all names.  (Philippians 2)   Before we are born again we want to have a big reputation and we even work to achieve such.   After we are born again, we begin learning to control ourselves and we learn not to allow our flesh to rule over us.   Every time we do the word of God we are recreated in the image of Christ.   It is a continual process as long as we live on this present earth. *****   Philippians 2   5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:   6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:   (Jesus who was God, took on the form of a human, and didn't think he had to be equal with God.)   7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:   8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.   9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: *** The work of the flesh to glorify itself is called "emulations" in the Bible.   Galatians 5    19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   20 Idolatry, witchcraft (living in superstitions), hatred, variance (arguing), emulations (exalting yourself above others), wrath (wanting to see people punished), strife, seditions, heresies,   21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. ***   Matthew 7    Jesus says   24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:   25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.   26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:   27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. *** Controlling your own flesh by the Word of God and by prayer.   Colossians 3   1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.   2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.   3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.   4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.   5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:   6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:   7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.   8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.   9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;   10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of HIM that created him:   11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.   12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;   ***   When we feel our flesh about to rise up to exalt itself, we can pray, "God, please don't let me say that!"   God will help us to control our flesh.  

    The Word from God is everything to the real Christian

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 28, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    By the Word of God that the Spirit of God gives us, we know the will of God in the issues of this present life.   The Spirit of God searches the heart of God to show us the will of God.  (I Corinthians 2:10-13)   I've had the "Word of God" brought in scripture, in dreams, and in concepts which were brought to my mind by the Spirit of God.  In each case, these were "the Word of God."  And they came to pass.  And I rejoiced in those words and followed those instructions.   It is not the letter of the law that we follow but the Spirit.   God gives each of HIS children HIS Spirit that we can know what God wants us to do as we live on this earth! *****   Pearl of great price:   Matthew 13   44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.   45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:   46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.   To us, that Word of God, brought to our mind by the Spirit of God is everything and really all that matters as we go forward, doing that Word.  ***  We read the Bible so we can see that which is approved by God and know the way of God, but it is the Spirit of God in us who leads us in those scriptures.   But some church people see scriptures by their own natural mind.  And they are always a little off, like a radio station that is not tuned in properly.   II Corinthians 3:6   (God) hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.   *** Fleshly men often take the scriptures and read them by their own fleshly thinking, having not the Spirit, and set up doctrines by their own thinking for the church to follow.   A primary example of this is in setting up crackers and grape juice as being "communion" (or the Lord's supper), while the communion, the Lord's supper is the correct eating and correct drinking of the Word of God.   The apostle Paul says:  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.  I Corinthians 11:28   We examine ourselves as we eat and drink the Holy Bible, doing that word, conforming ourselves to that Word.  This is the Lord's supper.  The Word is power.   *** The Church of Christ group forbids the use of instrumental music in the church because of the following scripture.   Ephesians 5:19   Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;   But you can sing in your heart without making any sound at all with your voice!    I do not believe Ephesians 5:19 forbids instrumental music in the church but rather this verse exhorts us to sing "by our heart" to God, in gratitude to God as we make music.   *** There have been church groups in the past that required women to wear head coverings (a hat or scarf) as they enter the church building.   And some religious groups think men must wear some type of covering on their heads.   Here is what the Bible shows us for the New Testament church:   I Corinthians 11   4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.   5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.   6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.   7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.   8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.   13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?   14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?   15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.   *** The apostle Paul said:   I Corinthians 14   34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.   35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.   The Holy Spirit once said to me:  "Look at what these women were doing in the church."   When I looked, I saw they were asking questions.  (verse 35)    Further the Holy Spirit reminded me of Philip the evangelist who had 4 daughters "who did prophesy."  (Acts 21)  Prophesy is for the church.  To bring prophecy, you would have to speak in the church, said the Spirit of God to me.   I believe it is wrong for a woman to be asking questions in the gathering of the church, but if she has a word from the Lord she is free to present that word in the assembly of the church when the appropriate time presents itself in the gathering.  I do not believe she would interrupt the teaching to present a word.  That would be "out of order".   I Corinthians 14:40    Let all things be done decently and in order.   At one church I attended, our Bible teacher at each meeting would say to us:  "Does anyone have a word from the Lord?"    We were then free to give that word of knowledge or word of wisdom or prophecy. ***   Some things are sins and are never right for the Christian to do:   I Corinthians 6   9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   Before we were born again we did some of these things, but not after God revealed HIMSELF to us.  Before we were born again we served sin.  Now we serve God, not these sins.   Thus Jesus said to the woman taken in adultery, "Go, and sin no more."  John 8   She could not continue in that previous sin after Jesus forgave her.  Neither can we.  Nor do we want to do such sins after we have been given the Holy Spirit to live in us!   ***   People who were committing adultery and fornication used to hide.  But today many seem proud to tell others they are doing such.  They have no shame.   Paul said:  Abstain from all appearance of evil.  I Thessalonians 5:22   This lack of shame over sins shows us we are drawing nearer to the return of Jesus and the wrath of God upon the disobedient.   ***  Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (for the word of God) shall wax cold.   13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   *** I Corinthians 5    It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.   2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.   3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,   4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,   5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.    6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?   7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:   8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.   9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:   10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.   11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.   12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?   13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.   ***   Concerning homosexuals and lesbians:   Romans 1   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 26, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.  (Mt. 12)   When our words line up with New Testament Bible by the Spirit of God, we will be justified.   We must renew our minds to the Word of God and speak those things which warn and edify the church.   *****   II Corinthians 5   9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him.   10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.   11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; ***   Proverbs 4:23   Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.   ***   Matthew 12  Jesus says:   33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.   34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.   35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.   36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.   37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.   *** James 1:26   If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.   ***   Ephesians 4:29     Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.   ***   1 Timothy 2:1-2  Paul said ...  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;   2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.   ***    We will not all die:    I Thessalonians 4:15-17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (are dead).   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.     I Corinthians 15:51-52  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   ***    2 Timothy 4:14-15   Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:   15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.   First, do we go the extra mile in dealing with people? Even when they treat us unfairly, do we treat them with good?   Concerning the doctrine, do we live by the doctrines set forth for us by God in the New Testament?   Paul says if we pay attention to ourselves and the doctrine, "In doing this, we will save ourselves and those that hear us."  (I Timothy 4:16)   *****   * Take heed to yourselves:   Treat other people in a godly way as shown by the Spirit of God.   When we had the house in Texas, our realtor became upset with us, or with the property, and no longer wanted to deal with us.  She sent us a letter saying, "I think the time has comes for us to part ways."   I responded,  "Ok ... thank you."   That same day, I found another realtor who would represent the property and within two days the house was back on the market.  And the house sold in two days after going back on the market.   After the closing, and the money was in the bank for the house, I sent checks of $500 to both the previous realtor and her partner for their work they had done in showing the house.  It wasn't much, but I thought they deserved something, for I knew these previous realtors had several open houses where they displayed the house.   After we sent the gratuities to the previous realtors, we received an email from one of the partners saying how she thought she had learned a lot from us and would be a better realtor in the future.   Regardless, their encounter with us should show God to them by the way we dealt with issues.   For example:  One of their agents, a Catholic, went over to the property and buried a "idol" of some kind in our flower bed in back of the house, for this woman thought this "idol" would allow her to pray over the house and make the house sell.  As soon as we found out this had been done, we said that this is witchcraft and we required that this "idol" be removed from the property.   Make it a point to share God's way and to deal in a way that is right in the sight of God in all things.   ***   * Take heed ... to the doctrines of Christ:   Many doctrines of Christ set forth for the church in the New Testament Bible are set aside in the churches today.  But we need to keep those doctrines in our own minds and function in this life according to those doctrines.   Some of the Bible doctrines which have been changed from the NT Bible today in the church are as follows:   * Divorce & remarriage after divorce:   Mark 10   And HE (Jesus) arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto Him again; and, as HE was wont, HE taught them again.   2 And the Pharisees came to Him, and asked Him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting Him.    3  And HE answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?    4  And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.    5  And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.    6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.    7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;    8  And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.    9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.    11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   ***   Jesus said:   Matthew 5:32   But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   - If a man divorces a faithful wife, and that faithful wife remarries, she will commit adultery upon remarriage after divorce.  But the husband who divorced the faithful wife will be the cause of her adultery.   - The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.   ***   I Corinthians 7   10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:   11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   *****   * Homosexuals & lesbians:   Romans 1   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   ***   I Corinthians 6   9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Paul  did not say to pray for them or counsel them.  If they are called "a brother" they know better and they know these are sins.  Just put such a one away from the church.  Or if you are in a church where these are accepted, you have to depart from them.   ***   Hebrews 10   26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.   28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:   29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?   30 For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. Let all things be done unto edifying.   27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.   28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.   29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.   30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.   31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.   32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.   33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.   34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.   35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.   39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.   40 Let all things be done decently and in order.   *****   *  Ministers of the New Testament church given to the church after Jesus arose:   Ephesians 4   8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.    11 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;   12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:    13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:    14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;   No minister in the New Testament Bible is called "Reverend."   Holy and reverend is God's name.   *****   * Concerning fornication:   I Corinthians 6    15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.   16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   (At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh.)   17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   ***   I Corinthians 7    Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.   2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.   3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.    4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.   *****   * Concerning and elder/bishop in the church.   I Timothy 3   This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.    2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;    3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;    4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;    5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)   6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.    7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.    8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;    9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.    10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.   11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.    12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.    13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.   ***   Titus 1  (Paul  to Titus)   5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:   6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.   7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;   (We see Paul using the words elder & bishop interchangably.)    8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;    9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.   10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:  *****   Matthew 24:12-13  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (for the Word of God) shall wax cold.    13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. *****  We must view these doctrines from the Bible for churches today have changed these rules for the New Testament church.    I would not gather with a church group where these rules have been changed away from scriptures.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 23, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Psalm 105:43;45  And HE brought forth HIS people with joy, and HIS chosen with gladness:   45 That they might observe HIS statutes, and keep HIS laws.   Each time God has moved me from one city to another during my lifetime, it has been with joy and gladness.   (Before HE moves me that city that was once alive to me often goes "dead" and the hope and expectation of good is in the new city.)   Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:   And when I find changes in "assignments" or jobs, the same has occurred.  God leads me with joy and gladness, not with fear and dread. *****   John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   ***   When an idea is from God:   James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.   James 3:14-16    But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.     The current end-time message to the church before Jesus returns

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 20, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    We are living in the time Paul spoke of in II Thessalonians 2:3-4 where Paul said this had to happen before Jesus returns.   A falling away would first happen.  Churches would fall away from scripture to set up other doctrines.   Because of the removal of scripture, antichrist moved into the church groups.  The scripture was the only thing holding antichrist back.   We are witnessing the apostasy in the churches now as Paul said we would do in the last days before Jesus' return. *****   II Thessalonians 2  (KJV)   3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;   (Churches would fall away from scripture and set up opposite doctrines:  The removal of portions of scripture allows antichrist to surface in the church groups.)   4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   Here is one scripture that has been discarded in the churches today:   I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   ***   Serious penalty on these churches that remove scripture or add religious things to their church services which are not prescribed for the gathering of the church in the New Testament Bible.   II Thessalonians 2   10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness   (NASB)   The falling away is called "the apostasy" in the NASB.  II Thessalonians 2:3-4   apostasy: The abandonment or renunciation of a religious belief.  Many doctrines of the New Testament have been discarded in today's churches.   See:   * Romans 1:24-27  / Concerning homosexuals and lesbians   * Titus 1 / Requirements for elders in the churches  (elders are also called bishops)   * I Timothy 4 / Doctrines of devils and seducing spirits would be set up in the end time churches forbidding their ministers to marry and commanding the people to abstain from meats   * Matthew 5:32; Mark 10; I Corinthians 7:10-11 / When remarriage after divorce is adultery   * I Corinthians 14:16 / The gathering of the churches today has been changed from this instruction of the New Testament Bible   * John 14:26; John 16:13; I Corinthians 12; Romans 12 / Many churches today deny the entire body of scripture concerning the working of the Holy Spirit in the church and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.   Their ministers call themselves "Reverend" (in the Bible only God is referred to as Reverend, Psalm 111:9).  And they dress themselves in garments thought to be religious which are not set forth for ministers to wear in New Testament Bible.   Things are added to their meetings which are not in New Testament Bible such as:  wooden and stone crosses and graven images, pictures of men in long robes which represent spiritual symbols not in New Testament Bible; lighting of candles in religious context not in New Testament Bible.   It is before our eyes today and each of us have New Testament Bibles and therefore we will be held accountable for those things added to the churches and those doctrines which are removed today.   This is the end time apostasy in the churches today.   *****   Ephesians 4:8, 11-12   Wherefore HE (Jesus) saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.   11 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  

    When we need help, God provides the help we need

     (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 22, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    When situations of this life arrive, we should first turn to God in prayer to see what we should do.   Then if we need help from another human, God will provide that person to help us.   I've found people are always in place to help when help is needed.  And when I know they are appointed by God for this purpose, I can praise God for the help provided.   Some people turn directly to humans when there is a need, but I like to turn first to God and discuss the matter with God.   This podcast shows God helping in time of need.   *****   Psalm 105    4 Seek the Lord, and HIS strength:   5 Remember HIS marvellous works that HE hath done; HIS wonders, and the judgments of HIS mouth;    Stop and think of some of those things God has done for you.  *** II Corinthians 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. *** Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.    We must hold fast to God's Word knowing it will be fulfilled.   ***    John 4  (Jesus says)    23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.   24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.   *** Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.    On December 6, 2018, I fell in my house in Texas where I lived alone.  (I was 81 years old at that time.)    As the ambulance workers rolled me past the front door of that house, I heard, "You'll never see this house again."    After surgery, I spent 2 1/2 months in rehabilitation hospitals in Texas.  I knew I could no longer live alone.  A member of the body of Christ, Pam Padgett, took me to live in her home in Colorado and I put the Texas house up for sale in December 2018.   In March, 2019, God gave me a vision about the Texas house.  A man drove past the Texas house and looked closely at the house.  He passed by the house and got to the alley behind the house and stopped his car and backed up and sat at the side of the house looking intently at the house.    I felt God was showing me that the man who was going to buy the house would pass up the house but then stop and come back and buy the house.    The house was on the market between December, 2018 and March, 2020, without selling.    I was often reminded of the vision which gave me hope and I often prayed that God would bring the right person to see the house.  I prayed that the person would be in a position to afford to buy the house without it being a financial burden.   But I always held out hope for the house to sell because of that vision and also because I knew I would never see that house again and therefore would have no need for the house.    The house was a burden to me during that time for we had to pay utilities, insurance, lawn upkeep and most months it cost us approximately $500 to pay expenses on the house which was not being used.    During that time, we had 3 offers which fell through and were disappointments.   In March 2020, at the peak of the Coronavirus, I was really troubled over the house and I turned to God in prayer asking HIM if there was anything I should do about the house.  I felt God was showing me to lower the price of the house and put it "on special sale" for one week.  Which I did immediately.  The house sold in 2 days at the special price in late March 2020.   Then a series of events happened:  * The buyers backed out. * The realtors who had represented the property said they thought it was time for us to part company and they left us. * I found another realtor by phone and he had the house back on the market in 2 days. * The buyers who backed out returned and purchased the house again, setting a closing date for May 15, 2020. (Just like the vision God gave me in March 2019.)   There were many fears between April 18, 2020, and the closing date of May 15,2020.   I just prayed every time a fear came.   Philippians 4:5-6   6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.    Two days before the closing date, a news report came that  California colleges had cancelled fall classes at all 23 universities in their system due to Coronavirus.   (The buyers of the house in Texas were coming to work at Texas Tech University, one as a teacher in the art department.  What if the university in Lubbock cancelled their classes?  What if the buyers became fearful and backed out of the property purchase?  What if the buyers got the Coronavirus? What if a projected storm hit the house and damaged the house which would stop the sale?  Many fears along the way.)   With each fear, I prayed.    The house closed on May 15, 2020, as planned.  The mortgage company wired the buyer's loan money to the ministry bank account.    It was over!    It had been a rather long struggle, almost 1-1/2 years.    But all along the way, God had provided all my needs.    * Pam Padgett (member of body of Christ) did so much work in the needed things in sale of house in Texas.   She had to arrange for all the repairs shown by the inspection ... and she had to get paper evidence showing we had arranged and had paid for specific repairs!   I'm totally unequipped to do these things. Pam has the gifts from God to do such.   Pam was also able to read contracts and work out details.   Again I am helpless in such.   Pam coordinated everything by phone and computer and spared me from worrying over anything. It was amazing.   I did basically nothing ... except pray when I was concerned over those potential threats which I heard through newscasts. I'm glad I stayed informed over what is going on in USA and economy for it gave me opportunities to pray over each concern as that concern surfaced.   Up through the moment on Friday, May 15, 2020, when Pam learned the house money was in our ministry bank account, we both prayed over details.   I was especially praying that God would keep the buyers enthusiastic over the house. This is what God did.   The house is a good buy for these people. The wife said she was so happy they now had a place where their art works could be displayed. (As I understand it she will teach art at Texas Tech. I think her husband is also employed at Tech. They are moving to Lubbock from Colorado.)   * Wes Graham, my realtor friend in Clovis, New Mexico (USA), took time to cover many realty needs.    * Tom Mullen, my contractor for the Texas house, covered so many things even though he is currently involved in 3 major building projects in Texas. He saw that every repair deadline was met.   * Oralia, my long time housekeeper in Texas, was always available as needed, though her husband has cancer and she is constantly working with him.   Everyone came through with their respective areas of expertise.   God put everyone in place to do their jobs.   I did nothing but pray.   So after a year and a half on the market, we have no property in Texas! And all this in the midst of the most uncertain time in our lifetimes so far as this virus and the subsequent economy is concerned.   I really love living in Colorado, which God worked out for me. Also I'm glad not to be living alone at this time in life. It has been great for me here with Pam and the 2 dogs and 3 cats ... and my TV and sound system.   I hope to go forward showing God's works in our lives and how great His work and His word is.    As the apostle Paul told us:  "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."  (Philippians 4:19)   Just hold onto those things God has told you while you wait by faith in that which God has said concerning the matter at hand.   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   

    We turn to God from idols that we may be examples of the living Word by our actions

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 19, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    As soon as we recognize the religious idols, we turn to God from those idols to serve the "living and true" God, just as the believers did in the day of the apostle Paul.   Paul wrote of this in I Thessalonians 1:9 "How ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God".   In the Old Testament, they built a golden calf to be their god in the days of Aaron. Moses ground that idol into dust and made the children of Israel drink it.   Jeroboam, king of Israel built 2 golden calves for the people of God to worship.   Today in the churches they set up ministers for the people to worship calling these men "Reverend", "Pope", and such ... and then they set up crosses of wood and stone for the people to bow down before. More idols.   They set up many false doctrines in churches today.   As soon as we see such, we also turn away from these idols of man and turn to God as the followers of Paul did.   *****    I Thessalonians 1  (Paul says)   6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost. 7 So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.   8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.   9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;    10 And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom HE raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.   (We who turn from these religious idols will be saved from the great tribulation by Jesus when HE comes to gather the church who worships God.)   ***   John 4:24   God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.   ***   I Thessalonians 5:21   Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.   ***   Psalm 111:9  HE (God) sent redemption unto HIS people: HE hath commanded HIS covenant for ever: holy and reverend is HIS name.   ***   Entire church groups have fallen away from Bible to worship other doctrines and have set up many things in the churches which were authored by man and not by God.   As they set up golden calf in the Old Testament, also they set up things to make the people feel spiritual without following the Spirit of God.   This is the counterfeit church.   * They call themselves names not in the Bible, such as "Reverend." * They dress their ministers in special garments of clothing, not in New Testament. * They cross themselves thinking to bless themselves, not in New Testament. * They light candles at church gathers for religious purposes, not in New Testament. * They set up water which they call "Holy Water", not in New Testament. * They bow down before graven images to recite words. * They wear around their neck crosses and medallions, not told to do this in Bible. * They discard portions of scripture and teach perverse doctrines to their church groups.   By all this the man of lawlessness, antichrist, reigns in today's church groups.   Paul told us antichrist would be in the church groups before Jesus returns.   II Thessalonians 2   3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (antichrist)   4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   (Churches would fall away from portions of scripture.)    ***   What we are seeing today in church groups is the end time apostasy.   I Timothy 4   1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;   2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;   3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.   The Catholic church are examples of this as they forbid their ministers to marry and as they command their people to abstain from the eating of meat on Fridays.  They follow seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.   ***   II Timothy 3   (the apostle Paul says)   1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,   3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;    (Paul shows by verse 5, this would happen in the church groups of the last days.)   5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.   (They deny the power of certain scripture to rule today in the church as they set up doctrine opposite from the scripture.)   6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,   7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.   13 Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.   ***   Jesus said concerning the sign of the end time:   Matthew 24:4-5    Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.   They come saying they are Christians.  They say "Jesus is Lord".  But they do not show that they follow the Spirit of God.   Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   ***   Jude   3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.   4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.   (While they say "Jesus is Lord", they show that the Word does not rule over themselves, therefore their actions deny Jesus as Lord.)   12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear:  (They show no fear of Bible and they change doctrines from Bible to suit themselves) clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;    They attract other ungodly men to their doctrines as they approve sin in the church itself.   13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.   They copy other persons who seem religious, thus they are mockers, copiers, having not the Spirit.   16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.   17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;   18 How that they told you there should be mockers (copiers) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.   19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.   The ministers of these groups are like well trained performers on a stage and by their own flesh they draw to themselves others who are fleshly ... but they seek their own ways and do things to cause people to admire themselves and speak perverse doctrines.   The apostle Paul  told us this would happen in the church.   Acts 20   (Paul speaking to the elders of the church at Ephesus)   29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.   30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.   ***   Peter also warned us about the false teachers of the end times.   II Peter 2   1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.   2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.   3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:   14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:   15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;   17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.   18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.   They entice men through clever words of their own flesh.  But their words have no real power though they promise power.  Their words entice the flesh of men.  And they draw large crowds to themselves because they do not speak of sin but they speak of approval. Therefore there is no repentance from sin in their churches.   ***   The apostle John said there were many antichrists trying to get into the church groups.   I John 2   18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.   They came among the real church but then they left ... They set up their own churches where they could present their own doctrines after the lives of Paul and the real apostles of Christ.  (Acts 20)   So today we have all these denominations set up by man.   But according to Paul, this had to happen to the churches before Jesus returns ... the apostasy, the falling away from doctrine, before the great tribulation.   ***   Luke 20:46-47   Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;  Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.    Matthew 23:15  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.    27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.    28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.    ***   I Corinthians 14:39   Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.   ***   1 Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   Mark 10:11-12 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   ***   Ephesians 4:11-13   And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:   Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:   ***   I Corinthians 2:1-5  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.   2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and HIM crucified.   3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.   4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:   5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.   

    Getting our guidance from God

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 17, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Recently I saw a documentary concerning Franklin Roosevelt.   They spoke about his famous radio communications with the people called "Fireside chats."   These were very effective.  One of his advisors said to him, "You should do these broadcasts every day."   Roosevelt responded, "No ... if I spoke every day, they would not be as effective.   The people would become less interested.  The broadcasts need to be special."   I speak Podcasts and blog messages daily.  The thought came to me saying maybe I should speak only occasionally.   I turned to God in prayer and asked God what HE wanted me to do.   ***** Immediately I was reminded of the following instructions from the Bible.   Hebrews 3   8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:  9 When your fathers tempted ME, proved ME, and saw MY works forty years.   10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known MY ways.   11 So I sware in MY wrath, They shall not enter into MY rest.)   12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.   13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.   14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;   ***   Hebrews 10   23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;)   24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:   25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.   (As we "see the day of the Lord approaching," we should exhort one another "even more.")    26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   ***   I had my answer from God concerning that which HE wanted me to do.   Paul said that he didn't go in the clever ways of men but in the power of God.   I Corinthians 2   1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.   2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.   3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.   4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:   5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 15, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    I made a trip out of my house on May 5, 2020.  I had not been out since January 15, 2020.  I looked at the mountains in Colorado Springs where I now live and said, "The mountains are still  here!  I'm glad to know that."   Pam Padgett, a member of  the body of Christ who also knows the Bible, laughed.   We both know a scripture telling us there will be a time when the mountains will be gone.  Revelation 16:20   Because of the Bible, we know many things will be removed by God during the last days of this earth.   But because it is God doing this, we who belong to God are not troubled.   Things coming in the last days ... *****   Concerning the mountains being removed:   Revelation 16:20   And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.   During the last days of the great tribulation and the wrath of God upon this earth, many things will happen:   Revelation 8   2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.   6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.   7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.   8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;  9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.   10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.   12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.    13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!   ***   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   ***   Revelation 21   1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   ***   Isaiah 65:17  For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.    ***   I Corinthians 15   42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:   43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:   44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   ***   Matthew 24:7-8      7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.   8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

    God cares for HIS people

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 11, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Day by day God leads us, HIS people, by HIS Spirit.  God brings scripture and ideas to us to show us what to do.  As we focus on these, we put ourselves in exactly the right place at exactly the right time.     ***** Psalm 78   52 (God) made HIS own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.   53 And HE led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.   ***   God does all these things for us today!   God brings scriptures and ideas to our minds to show us what to do today, in this exact period of time.  We do those things and we are placed where we should be.  God leads us through this wilderness of this life and through the various events that happen in this life.   God sees that His people have food and water, the essentials.   And God even provides for us those things which we enjoy as we pass time away on this earth, as we wait to be removed from this earth, and wait to be carried up with Jesus to the new heavens and the new earth.   As we focus on doing those individual scriptures (or instructions) that are brought to our attention by the Holy Spirit, we are in exactly the right place at the right time every day.   The various words from God are as "stepping stones" which show us the path of life and lead us in the way we are to go as we live on this earth.  We go from "word" to "word", doing as God shows us to do in the events of this present time.   Think on those specific things God has shown you recently:   (For me, God has shown me three things:)   * February 2020:  Make Podcasts to exhort the church.  (We did this immediately and still do this.)   * March 2020:  Sell unused sound equipment on Internet.  (We did that and all sound equipment that we listed sold immediately.)   * March 2020:  Lower price of house in Texas and have a special sale price for one week.  (I did that and the house sold in 2 days.)   By doing the things God shows us, our feet are set in an "enlarged" place so we have room and do not slip off the precipice with the worldly people.   What has God shown you to do?    

    Idols set up in today's church for people to worship

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 6, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Is your pastor called "Reverend" by the people at church?  If so, this is one of those idols set up by man in the church today. For it is not in the Bible to call another human "Reverend" and when we do that, we worship the man and make him into a idol in the church.   (The only place "Reverend" is used in the Bible is in Psalm 111:9 ... HE sent redemption unto HIS people: HE hath commanded HIS covenant for ever: holy and reverend is HIS (God's) name.)   We may marvel at pastor's speaking, but we must always remember it was God who caused him to speak these things. So as we see God behind the creation of the heavens and the mountains of the earth, we see God behind those gifts given to humans.   So we worship God and thank God for the gift rather than worshipping that human which God created.   Other idols set up by man in the churches today:    *****    Here are some of the idols set up by men in the churches today:    * graven images of wood, or stone, or glass, or even photos which seem to be religious ... these are set to make people "feel" religious but we are supposed to worship God in Spirit and in truth, not in conjurings of man.   * crossing yourself ... holy water ... bowing down before an altar made by the hands of men.   * The Bible tells us to call our New Testament ministers:  apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers ... these are the ministries given by Jesus to HIS New Testament church after the resurrection.  Ephesians 4:8;11-12   *** Can ministers marry in the church set up by Jesus?   * When they set it up where their ministers are forbidden to marry, they set up "doctrines of devils", says the apostle Paul.   I Timothy 4   Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.   In the New Testament Bible we see that Peter was married.  Paul chose not to marry.  The minister of the New Testament church has a right to marry.  To forbid marriage for the minister is to set up a doctrine of devils in the churches.  And often such sets the stage for both homosexuals and child abusers in the ministry.   *** What God says in the Bible about homosexuals and lesbians:   Romans 1   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   Mark 10:6   But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.   No, homosexuals were not born that way.  They were created male but they turned themselves over to be homosexuals.  If they repent and see this according to these scripture, they will go a normal way as created by God.   *** Requirements for bishops in todays churches:   Titus 1  (The apostle Paul speaking to Titus)   5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:   6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.   7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;   8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; 9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.   (Notice Paul uses the titles "elder and bishop" interchangeably.  These are the same office in the church.)   *** Does it really matter?  some will say.   "Yes," the Word of God matters.   If your church does not go by the word of God, the Holy Scriptures, then your church is antichrist.  (opposite to scripture)   2 Timothy 3:16-17  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.    I Corinthians 14:26  How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation.  Let all things be done unto edifying.   *** Jesus says:   John 4   21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe ME, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.   23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.   24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.   

    The end time "falling away" and the restraint against antichrist

But the apostle John said there were already "many" antichrists in his time. I John 2:18   The apostle Paul told us antichrist would come through "the temple of God".  II Thessalonians 2:4   The majority of Christian type churches were looking for antichrist in the leadership of the governments of men.  (The Russians in the 1800's thought Napoleon was the antichrist.)   Paul said antichrist had to come before Jesus could return. And Paul said there first had to be a "falling away". II Thessalonians 2:3   In this Podcast, I will show what scriptures tell us about antichrist and how antichrist comes through the churches rather than through the governments of men.   I will also show you exactly how antichrist comes into the churches today as shown us by specific scriptures.   ***** The apostle John said in his day there were already "many" antichrists. These persons were just waiting for their chance to spread perverse doctrines into the churches.   I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   The apostle Paul knew antichrist would come into the churches after his death.   Acts 20 (Paul speaking to the elders of the church at Ephesus)   29  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.   30  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.     II Thessalonians 2  (KJV)   3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;   (Churches would "fall away" from scripture and set up other doctrines.)   4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   II Thessalonians 2  (NASB)   3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.   ***   The restraint against antichrist: II Thessalonians 2  (NASB)   6 And you know what restrains him (antichrist) now, so that in his time he will be revealed.   (The scriptures kept antichrist back so long as the church groups kept with scriptures. But as soon as the various scriptures were removed, the restraint was removed and antichrist, the man of lawlessness, moved into the churches setting up his own doctrine against the scriptures.)   7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE (Jesus, the Word) who now restrains will do so until HE is taken out of the way.   (Jesus, the Word, the scriptures were taken out of the way allowing antichrist into the churches to work.)   8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.   Antichrist has been in the churches since the time of the apostle John. (I John 2:18)   But in the end times antichrist in churches would increase. (II Thessalonians2)   *** The real church, those who love and uphold all scripture, will be taken out before the great tribulation:    I Thessalonians 4   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   *** After the great tribulation, this present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God.   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   When the cup of wickedness is full, by the standard of God, then Jesus returns and removes the real Christians who follow Him by His Spirit.     It is God who gives us wisdom in all things. Therefore we should praise God.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 11, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Humans often praise men for their skills when they see them.  And they praise men for their plans that are wise.  But we should remember that all skills and all wisdom are given to man by God and therefore we should praise God.  When we see the great mountains, we should praise God for creating those mountains.   Many praise men ... but we should praise God who gives all things to men. *****   Proverbs 8   12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.   13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.   14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.   15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.   16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.   17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.   18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.   19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.   20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:   21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.   22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old.   23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.   24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.   25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:   26 While as yet HE had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.   27 When HE prepared the heavens, I was there: when HE set a compass upon the face of the depth:   28 When HE established the clouds above: when HE strengthened the fountains of the deep:   29 When HE gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not pass His commandment: when HE appointed the foundations of the earth:   30 Then I was by HIM, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him;   ***   Proverbs 3   6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.   7 HE layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: HE is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.   8 HE keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints.   *** II Corinthians 3:5  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;   ***   Psalm 111:10  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.  

    God goes before us and makes the crooked places straight

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 10, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    When God works in our lives, miracles often happen before our eyes.  We can actually see the working of God as the way before us is prepared. And God even plants HIS own desires into our hearts so we go in HIS way while thinking it is really "our desire."   On this podcast are two examples of this.   ****   God says:  I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:   Isaiah 45:2   ***   When God speaks to us today, HE usually speaks through HIS Spirit by bringing to our minds a thought or idea which leads us in what we should do this at this point in time.   John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.   ***   Psalm 37:4   Delight thyself also in the Lord: and HE shall give thee the desires of thine heart.   God is fully able to put HIS OWN DESIRE into our heart so we have a "desire" to go in the way HE is leading us.   Two examples happening simultaneously:   In 2018:  Pam Padgett, who lives in Colorado (USA), had a desire to remodel her house, changing a downstairs "study" into a bedroom and adding a shower to her downstairs' 1/2 bath.  She prayerfully pursued doing this and finished the project by February 2019.   Around this same time in 2018, I began to realize I could not continue living alone at my house in Texas as I had been doing for the past 18 years.  I could still drive my car and get my food but "somehow" I just knew this wasn't going to continue.   (John 16:13   Jesus says:  when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth ... and He will shew you things to come.)   Then on December 6, 2018, I fell at my house in Texas.  I broke hip and left wrist.  After surgery, I spent 2 1/2 months in rehabilitation hospitals in Texas.  I knew I would not be able to live alone as I had been doing in past years.   God worked it out for me to move directly from the hospital in Texas to Pam Padgett's home in Colorado where a bedroom and bath downstairs had been prepared "for me".  (God went before me and fixed everything for me ... making the unworkable parts of Pam's house to be workable for me just before I needed them!)   The room at Pam's house was just exactly according to the desire that had been put into my heart earlier in 2018.   And it all reminded me of the following scripture.   II Kings 4  (Concerning the prophet, Elisha)   8 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.   9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.   10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.   11 And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.   (In 2020, I started my second year at Pam's house.  Pam is a godly woman, calling on God and following the plans given her by God by HIS Spirit.)   At the time of this recording in 2020, I'm 82 years old.  For more than 40 years, I have tried to follow God and I really had not considered what would happen to me when I was old.  It is obvious to me that God made a provision for me far above that which I could have planned for myself.   Just follow after those scriptures God gives you and HE will get you to the place you need to be!  All we need to do is follow after verses of scripture given by the Holy Spirit.  These scriptures are like stepping stones leading us through the land.

    When Jesus returns, the church will rise to meet Jesus "in the air."

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 8, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    When Jesus returns, we who are still living, will rise to meet Jesus "in the air".   We will not be living on this present earth but we will be taken to a new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  II Peter 3:13 *****   Those who have died and belong to God will be raised first:   I Thessalonians 4   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).   16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   *** Those who are still living on the earth when Jesus returns will be changed into "new bodies" and will rise to meet Jesus in the air.   I Corinthians 15   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. *** After the great tribulation this present heaven and earth will be destroyed  by God:   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   *** God showed the apostle John that new heaven and new earth which HE has prepared for us at the end of this present world.    Revelation 21    And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

A professor from Dallas Theological Seminary said to me, "Just put on the whole armor of God." I replied, fine: "How do you do that." He said, "Just put on Jesus." I said, "How do you do that?"   He couldn't tell me how to do that.   Later God told me.   On this Podcast I share with you that which God showed me about putting on the whole armor of God. ***** The whole armor of God:   Ephesians 6   10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord (be strong in the Word given by the Holy Spirit), and in the power of His might.   11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.   12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.   13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.   14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;   15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;   16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.   17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:   18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;   *** Jesus says:   John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   Thoughts come to our minds. Ideas come to our minds. Desires come to our minds.   The devil sends thoughts to destroy us if we follow those.   Our own flesh often wants things that will not be good for us, though they seem very good.   Proverbs 16:25  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.   God brings thoughts and ideas to our minds. These are the way to go in the specific issues pertaining to this life.   We recognize those ideas from God by the following:   James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.    ==   I John 5:14-15  And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us:   15 And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM.      Philippians 4:6-7   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

    Jesus tells His disciples the sign of the last days

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 5, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The disciples come to Jesus asking HIM, "What is the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the world?"   Jesus tells them the first thing to look for. ***** Matthew 24   1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.   2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.   (All these great buildings that we admire will be destroyed at the end of this world, so Jesus warns HIS disciples not to take great pride in them for they will be destroyed.)   3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?   4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.   They will come saying "Jesus is the Christ ... Jesus is Lord" ... and we will think they are Christians because they say that. And they will deceive many because they say that.   Those who are really Christians follow the Spirit of God:   Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   When we see them display that wisdom that is from God, we know they are the sons of God and the real church.   It is not just a matter of talk.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on May 4, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    What is this rock?  Jesus says, The gates of hell will not prevail against "this rock".    *****   Matthew 16:13-18   When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, HE asked HIS disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?   14 And they said, Some say that THOU art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.   15 HE saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?   16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.   17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but MY Father which is in heaven.   18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.    The "rock" that the church is built upon is "that word" that is revealed to us by God by HIS Spirit.     God gives us the desires of our hearts

    God is the only one I can fully trust for HE knows the future

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on April 27, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Some people will want to help us but they might not be able to do so.  They do not know the future, but God knows the future.  Other people are actually enemies of God, doing fleshly plans, and trying to get us to do what they do.  Some would lead us but they do not know the will of God for us.   When God gives me a word, I know I can do that plan safely.   The devil brings his thoughts to steal, kill, and destroy me.  (John 10:10)   Humans bring their own ideas, but those ideas are risky.   Proverbs 14:12  There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.   It is only God that I can fully trust!   Ephesians 4:21    If so be that ye have heard Him, and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: (the Word)   *****   James 3:16   For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.   *****   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   I can say to a human, "You might be right."   But when God brings me a word by HIS Spirit I can "know" that word is right.   Seek God.  Ask God.   Proverbs 3:6   In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and HE shall direct thy paths.   (When we are trying to hire someone to do something, there could be a "hidden agenda".  Therefore ask God what to do.)   ***   II Timothy 3   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,   3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,   4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;   5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.   13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.   14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of Whom thou hast learned them;   ***   Jesus says:   Matthew 24   3 And as HE (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?   4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.    (They come saying "Jesus is Lord", and because they say that we tend to listen to them, and they deceive many.)    12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (for the Word of God) shall wax cold.   13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   ***   Job 13:15  Though HE slay me, yet will I trust in HIM: but I will maintain mine own ways before HIM.  

    Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life"

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on March 7, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    No man can go to God except through Jesus, The Word.   So if we are tempted to go a way opposite to that which we read in the New Testament Bible, we know we cannot go to God that opposite way.   Galatians 5   19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,   21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.    ==   John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I (the Word) am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME (the Word of God).     Matthew 26:51-54   And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. (We see in John 18:10 it was Peter did this)   52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.   53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to MY Father, and HE shall presently give ME more than twelve legions of angels?   54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?     Matthew 26:42,44  He (Jesus) went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O MY Father, if this cup may not pass away from ME, except I drink it, THY will be done. 44 And HE left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.     Galatians 1:6-8   I marvel that ye are so soon removed from HIM that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:   7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.   8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.     Psalm 78:49   HE (God) cast upon them the fierceness of HIS anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.     John 8:44   Jesus said to the Jews who sought to kill Him:  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.     Revelation 3:5  Jesus says:   He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before HIS angels.     Revelation 22:12-15   Jesus says: And, behold, I come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.   13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.   14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments (God's commandments), that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.   15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.     I Corinthians 6:9-10   Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?     (This podcast was previously recorded and published on April 3, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    As the wickedness of the world and the churches increases, we know we draw nearer to the return of Jesus. If you work at a secular job, you will be exposed to many concepts contrary to Bible. This world loves to be wise in it's own eyes. You have to uproot those spots that come from worldly sayings of men and bring spiritual contamination. We also encounter such on our television programs. We must be alert and cleanse ourselves from these spots of this world.   The apostle Peter told us to do the following as we wait for Jesus.   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.  II Peter 3:14   If we do this, we should be ready for Jesus when HE returns.    ==   Luke 10:38-42   Now it came to pass, as they went, that HE (Jesus) entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received HIM into her house.   39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard HIS word.   40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to HIM, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.   41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:   42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.      Matthew 11:28-30  Jesus says:   Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.   29 Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.   30 For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.      Hebrews 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.      I Timothy 4:7-8   But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.   8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.     1 Thessalonians 5:21   Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.     Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.    7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.     James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.     I Peter 5:8-9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:    9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.    

    Staying on the Highway of God

We drive onto that road when we hear a word from the Holy Spirit of God and do that instruction. And we stay on that road by continuing to do that instruction.   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  Romans 8:14   Examples are given in this podcast.   ==   Hebrews 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.     John 14:26   Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.     John 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.     I Corinthians 2:9-13  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.   10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.   11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.   12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.   13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.     John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I (the Word) am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.     John 6    35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.   45 Jesus says: It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto ME.    51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is MY flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.   53  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you.   54 Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.     Ephesians 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,     James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.   

    Trusting in the living God instead of in uncertain riches

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on April 7, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Things can change very rapidly in this present world. In the Bible, the apostle Paul warns us to put our trust in God rather than in "uncertain riches."  (I Timothy 6)   Can you trust in the unseen, instead of in the seen?   In the end, everything we can see with our natural eyes will be destroyed.   If we trust in any human or in a government of men, we put ourselves in great risk. Some are trusting in their church group and think they are trusting in God. Usually those who are trusting in their church group tell other people about that church group. When we speak with other people are we telling them about the living God and what God has done? Or are we speaking about a minister or a church group?   There is still time to make an adjustment, at least I think so, although unexpected things are happening rather rapidly.    ==   I Timothy 6:17  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;     Romans 8:31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?     Philippians 2:3-8  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.   4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.   5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:   6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:   7 But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:   8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.     2 Peter 3:10-14   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.     John 4:23-24  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.   24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.     Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.     Proverbs 16:25  There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.     James 3:16-17   For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.   17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.     Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.    

    God will make us the head and not the tail if we follow HIM

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on April 19, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we follow God, HE makes us above only and not beneath.  It is by the Holy Spirit leading us in the decisions of this life that we know what to do.  The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth and teaches us all things concerning the issues that are blocking our path as we set out to accomplish goals.  The Holy Spirit even shows us things to come, as needed.  (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   Deuteronomy 28  ...    1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all HIS commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:   2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.   9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto HIMSELF, as HE hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in HIS ways.   13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:   14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.   God began teaching me these things about being led by the Spirit of God as soon as I was born again in 1975.   I know nothing more important than these godly concepts.   ==   John 14:26  Jesus says ...     I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on April 26, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    To me, Jesus is The Word and The Word is Jesus. When I have a word from God on the issue of this life, I have the strength I need to go forward in that word. Also the Word from God, given by the Spirit of God, shows me what to do in the matter at hand. And the Word from God by the Spirit of God comforts me in difficult times.   The Word is everything to me ... I can't imagine living without The Word.   This Podcast contains specific examples of the Word brought to me by the Spirit of God, especially in difficult times.   ==    Philippians 4:13 Paul said: I can do all things through Christ (the Word) which strengtheneth me.     Psalm 16:8  I have set the Lord (the Word) always before me: because HE is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.      John 10:10  Jesus says: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (the Word) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.      Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
