    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 11, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    We cannot pursue fame, money and reputation among men and serve God. The only way we can be a servant of God is to do that which God tells us to do which is opposite to the way of this world.   But our flesh wants fame, money and reputation.   So there is a battle.   How do we overcome our own flesh?   This is the story of this Podcast.   ==   I John 5:14-15  And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us:   15 And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM.     Matthew 4:8-11  Again, the devil taketh HIM (Jesus) up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth HIM all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;   9 And saith unto HIM, All these things will I give THEE, if THOU wilt fall down and worship me.   10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and HIM only shalt thou serve.   11 Then the devil leaveth HIM, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto HIM.     2 Thessalonians 2:3-4   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.     1 John 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.     2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 (NASB)   And you know what restrains him now, so that he will be revealed in his time.    7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE (Jesus, the Word) who now restrains will do so until HE (Jesus, the Word) is removed.    8 Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of HIS mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;     Titus 3:10-11   A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;   11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.     Philippians 4:13   I can do all things through Christ (the Word) which strengtheneth me.    

    In this time of the last days, we should go forward with much more confidence, knowing the Holy Spirit dwells in us

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 18, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    The Holy Spirit of God, who dwells in each believer, teaches us all things, reminds us of all Jesus has said to us, guides us into all truth, shows us that which is to come.  (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   These are incredibly powerful weapons which this world does not have.   We, who have the Holy Spirit of God in us, should not go down with this world nor with those religious people who have not God.   Do you understand that the Holy Spirit of Jesus lives in each believer?   By this Spirit, we know the will of God for us in the specific issues of this present life. (I Corinthians 2)   James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and HE shows us truth in each question of this present life.   ==    John 14:26  Jesus says ...  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13 Jesus says ... Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.     1 Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?    1 Corinthians 6:19-20   What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.    2 Corinthians 3:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.     They say they are Christians but they do not believe that Jesus (The Word) comes to us today into our flesh to lead and guide us

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 15, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   All people know there was a man who walked on this earth and his name was Jesus.   But few know that Jesus lives inside the believer today by HIS Spirit ... and the Spirit of Jesus brings scripture and concepts to the mind of the believer to teach him, to guide him, to show him things to come.   Few people, even those people in churches, believe that Jesus has come into the body of the believer to live in that believer by His Spirit.   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   I Corinthians 6:19-20  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.   II Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?    Romans 8   7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.   9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.   10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.   11 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.   Jesus lives in each believer today by that Spirit which God gives us after we believe the Word.   Ephesians 1:12-13  That we should be to the praise of HIS glory, who first trusted in Christ.   13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,     Matthew 24:4-5  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  (They come saying "Jesus is Lord" and deceive many)     1 Corinthians 2:9-10  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.   10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.      1 Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.     John 6:29   Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on HIM (the Word) whom HE (God) hath sent.      Colossians 3:3  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.   4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.     John 14:26  Jesus says ...  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.     John 16:13  Jesus says ...  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 30, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   One of the most important things for each of us is to live in peace continually.  For when Jesus returns for the church it is very important that we be found by Him at that time living in peace, without spot, and blameless.     II Peter 3:12-14    Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM (of Jesus) in peace, without spot, and blameless.   It would be impossible for us to live in peace unless we do the following continually.   Philippians 4:6   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   Is there anything troubling you today?  Are you concerned about anything that is coming tomorrow?  Is there a fear of any kind concerning tomorrow?   If so, you are not living in peace.  You are failing to connect with God through prayer.   As we pray about each of our cares daily, we show that we trust in God and not in ourselves.   We connect with God by prayer.  And that makes us worthy to escape those things that are coming upon this earth says Jesus.   James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.     1 Peter 5:7  Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.     Luke 21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.     Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;     Matthew 24:12-13  Jesus says ... And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.     Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.     Romans 8:1, 13-14  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.   14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.     Revelation 3:5  Jesus says ...  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before HIS angels.     Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.    

    Be thankful. Turn your life around.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 29, 2020)     Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Each of us have thoughts where we could feel sorrowful or complain. We also have things for which we can be thankful.  If we learn to deliberately choose to think on those things for which we are thankful, we can turn our lives around.   Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   There are times when your husband or wife or friend does trifle things which annoy you. As you think on the grievances, you puff up and sometimes strike out.   If you will pray, asking God for help, and also deliberately think of things whereby your husband or wife or friend did things that caused you to rejoice, the grievances often fly away, disappearing.   Devils often attack by bringing negative thoughts to our minds. Our flesh sometimes wallows in those thoughts and things get much worse. And there is no good thing in our flesh, says Paul.  (Romans 7)   We, who have the power of the Holy Spirit of Jesus living in us, have in HIM a great power for good toward ourselves and toward others also if we will live in HIS power.   Galatians 5:15-16  But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit (that which God brings to your mind), and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.   It is not that we act in a phony way. But there are real things that other person has done for us which we can think on, blessings from God by that other person.   Learn to think on those things, especially when you want to strike out.   And above all, pray, asking God to help you in the midst of the attacks, for God will help you when you desire help.     James 1:26   If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.     John 4:23   But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.      I Timothy 2:1-4   I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.      Galatians 5:19-23  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,   21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,   23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.      Galatians 5:17   For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.      2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things (the return of Jesus), be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.     Luke 21:36   Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.      2 John vv. 8-11   Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.   9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.   10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:   11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.     

    Using the great power of God that is in us to do the will of God on this earth

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 26, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   God has placed each of HIS people in a role on this present earth with an "assignment" to do.   How do we know our assignment?  It is simple.  Our assignment is where we are right now.   * A husband and father ... a wife and mother ... a businessman ... a teacher... a mechanic ... a waitress.   We begin where we are.   Our goal in our assignment:  To serve God in all things and to reflect God in our actions.   Each of us have been equipped by God to succeed.   Pray, asking God what you are to do today.  Ask God how you are to fulfill today's assignment.  Ask God to give you wisdom to do that which you need to do, for understanding and wisdom are from God.   Follow the concepts and scriptures given you by the Holy Spirit who dwells in you.  Keep them before you throughout the day.   There is a great Holy Spirit in us to enable us to do all the will of God in the matters set before us.  Follow that Holy Spirit doing what HE brings to your mind.  Asking God to fill your day.  Depending on God rather than on yourself.   The starting point for us as we live today is presented in this Podcast.   Acts 17:26  (NASB 1995)   and He (God) made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation,     John 5:30  Jesus says ...  I can of MINE own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and MY judgment is just; because I seek not MINE own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent ME.     James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.     Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.      1 Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.     Ephesians 3:20-21  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,   21 Unto HIM be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.     The way of the ungodly will perish

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 25, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    They call themselves Christians, but they do that which is right in their own eyes, in their own way of thinking.  They do not call on God for HIS wisdom in the specific issues at hand.   They are like a leaf blowing in the wind.  They go one way then the opposite way without any thought at all.   They do not seem to have faith that God will communicate HIS will to themselves, therefore they don't think to ask God.   The ones who hear from God are like a rock which will never fall.   But the way of the ungodly, those who fail to consider that which God wants them to do, their way of doing things, will perish.    Psalm 1   1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.   2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord (the Word of God); and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night.   3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.   4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.   5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.   6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.      Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 24, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    John 5:30  Jesus says:  I can of MINE own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and MY judgment is just; because I seek not MINE own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent ME.   We should be exactly the same as Jesus.  We should understand that of our own selves we can do nothing.  We hear from God the Father through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and we learn to follow THAT Word.   John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.   We recognize the thoughts that are from God by the following:   James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.   But if we are in envy and strife there is confusion and every evil work.  James 3   We must give up the envy and strife through repentance and prayer.   Psalm 51:10  David prayed:  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.   Antichrist in the churches thinks he can do the works of God by his own wisdom and he does not call on God for wisdom concerning his plans, for he is opposite to God and thinks of himself to be able to do spiritual things.   Matthew 7:21-23  Jesus says:  Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY Father which is in heaven.   22 Many will say to ME in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in THY name? and in THY name have cast out devils? and in THY name done many wonderful works?   23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.     John 6:63  Jesus says:  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.     Romans 8:1-2  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.   Romans 8:5-14  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.    6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.    7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.    8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.   9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.     (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 22, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   As we keep a scripture before us day and night, we find eventually we have a power in us which enables us to follow that scripture.    In the Bible is it described as follows:   Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   God leads the New Testament church today by HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, who lives in the believer.   When God speaks to us to reveal The Word to us, the Holy Spirit is also given to those of us who believe that Word.  We are sealed by God with the Holy Spirit.  (Eph. 1)   One of the things done by the Holy Spirit is to remind us of the Word God has given us.  That shows us what we are to think upon and to do at this point in our lives.   Thus we are given various scriptures to lead us and guide us and comfort us and help us.  God does this by the Holy Spirit bringing these scriptures to our mind.   We then think on these scriptures and apply them to our lives.  Often we need to keep that scripture before us day and night, morning and evening, until it really becomes a part of us.    I am currently working on the following scripture:   Romans 12:18   If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.   I look at this scripture each morning and think on the instruction given me by this scripture.   At night, when I go to bed, I look again at this scripture to check myself and see if I have done what this scripture tells me to do as I have lived that day.   In a few days, as I do this scripture, it will become a part of my daily life and it will overcome my flesh which wants to quarrel with other people.   I believe we are recreated in the image of Christ (The Word) each time we do a scripture.   In this podcast, I will speak with you about ways to set up scriptures on your Kindle tablet in your Photos (or Ipad), so you can keep scripture before you easily and think upon those scriptures given you by the Holy Spirit of God.   I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.     John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.     John 16:13  Jesus says: Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.     John 6:63   Jesus says:  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.       1 Corinthians 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.     Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 21, 2020)     Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   In 1980, I was in France.  As I listened to the people walking past me, it was so lovely and peaceful.  Then I realized:  "It is peaceful to me because I can't understand what they are saying!"   One day, we come to this understanding:   II Peter 3:13  Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   We can't make this present earth righteous.   It is the "new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness."   But as Christians we do live in peace by learning to take every concern to God in prayer and by settling the matter with God by the Spirit of God and by living in the truth given to us by God concerning the issue at hand.   We, like Abraham, set our goal and mind as follows:   Genesis 14:21-23   And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.  And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,  That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:   We, as children born of the Spirit of God, do not look to governments of men for our "riches" or well being on this earth.  We determine that which we have will be given to us by God.  We do not seek the lottery money.  We seek God's plan for our well being.   We do not protest in the streets when people do unrighteous acts.  For we know humans will be unrighteous on this earth.   We seek our well being from God and live in peace through prayer by trusting in God.   Romans 12:19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is MINE; I will repay, saith the Lord.      2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.     Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.    7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.      James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 20, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   If we are born of the Spirit of God, we are taught by God.  Most people in churches today are not taught by God.  They put themselves into the churches by going forward and being baptized without having the Spirit of God ... or they joined the church by the will of man.   John 6    Jesus said:   44  No man can come to ME (The Word), except the Father which hath sent ME draw him: and I (The Word) will raise him up at the last day.   45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of (by) God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of (from) the Father, cometh unto ME (The Word).   Man loves to "glory in the flesh" of man.  Therefore the Jews in the New Testament church in the day of Paul said the believers from the Gentiles had to be circumcised.  (Galatians 3-5) They wanted to glory in the flesh of that which man did.   Today they want to glory in our flesh by telling people things we did.  But I've found when I tell then that God had me do that thing over which they glory, most flee from me.  They don't want to glory in things God has done.  They want to glory in my flesh, in things I have done.   That person who is really of God glories in that which God has done.   Jesus said:  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.  (John 5:30)   Like Jesus, we can do nothing except that which we hear from God by HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit.   And by HIS Spirit we are taught by God concerning the will of God and that which God wants us to do as we live on this present earth.   I John 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM.     Hebrews 8:10-11  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put MY laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to ME a people:    11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know ME, from the least to the greatest.     I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?      2 Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.   10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:   11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.  

    We can't follow this world and it's ways. Follow the Spirit of God.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on August 14, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    People today speak of "The Lord" and "Jesus"  but both are "THE WORD."  When we say, "The Lord is my shepherd," we are really saying "THE WORD is my shepherd."  For everything is THE WORD.   THE WORD was with God in the beginning.  At the appointed time, THE WORD came to earth in the form of the flesh of a man named Jesus, and dwelt for an appointed time.  Then THE WORD returned to heaven and became our intercessor and the Holy Spirit of Jesus, THE WORD, came to dwell in each believer.   Now THE WORD speaks to us by HIS Spirit.  THE WORD teaches us, speaking to us in the form of a thought.  THE WORD guides us into all truth.  THE WORD lives in us and is with us constantly.   All things were made by The Word and without The Word nothing was made.  If it exists at all it is by The Word.   All scriptures were inspired by God.  II Timothy 3:16   God brought THE WORD down to men and they put THE WORD into the Bible, thus the scripture themselves are THE WORD.   The scriptures are not an history book telling about things of God.  The scriptures are God, The Word.   It is a mystery to most who say they are Christians today.   But The Word is God.   John 1:1-4  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.    2 The same was in the beginning with God.   3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.   4 In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.     Proverbs 21:30  There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord (the Word).      Psalm 16:5 The Lord (the Word) is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: THOU maintainest my lot.     2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:   17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.     Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.      John 6:28-58     I Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

    II Thessalonians 2: Antichrist comes into the church before the return of Jesus

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 30, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    In 1982, God called my attention to the writing of the apostle Paul concerning antichrist, and where Paul spoke of the "falling away" that must come before Jesus returns, God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the churches but the falling away are churches departing from portions of scripture."   Then in 2016, God expanded this concept by telling me, "The restraint against antichrist was the scriptures. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE (God) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.   God will not fail us ... call on God when you are concerned or fearful.   We have a power the world does not have.  We have the great power of God.  And with God, nothing is impossible.   We have access at all times to the wisdom that is from God.   This is a promise of God to HIS children:   James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.   By HIS Spirit, God brings thoughts to our mind to show us what to do in the issues of this present life.   As we do those things shown us by God, the problems begin to unravel and vanish.   God knows exactly what will work for us.  And God knows the future and how to set us up for those things ahead.   All we have to do is turn to God, asking HIM for help ... and then follow those ideas which God sends to our mind by HIS Spirit.   The knowledge of how God works does help us also.   John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.     I Corinthians 2:9-13  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.   10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.   11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.   12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.   13 Which things also we speak, ...      Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 27, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   By meditating in the Word of God, we gain the power needed to do the specific scriptures.   We must keep those scriptures before us day and night, checking ourselves to see if we are really doing those scriptures.  Every night, I look at those portions of scripture whereby God is reconstructing my life at this current time.   I examine myself by those scriptures to see if I did those scriptures that day.

    Ephesians 3: The "power of God" that works in us

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 24, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Ephesians 3:20  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.   I've often heard people ask, "What is that power that works in us?"     That "power" is the Holy Spirit given to the believer at the time God reveals HIMSELF to that believer.     The Holy Spirit in us is a great power:    * He teaches us all things.   * He reminds us of that which Jesus has said to us.     * He guides us into all truth.    * He shows us things to come.     (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   He usually leads us by bringing thoughts or concepts to our minds.    He searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the specific issues of this life.    (I Corinthians 2)

We don't learn to be a minister of God by hearing from other men. We don't learn to be a minister of God by going to a seminary.     Psalm 7: Calling on God to judge us, showing us HIS view

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 21, 2020)     Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Psalm 7:8  The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.   ***   Our righteousness is according to that which God told us to do or led us to do.  When we do that, then our righteousness is of God for it was God who authored that which we have done or have said.   Isaiah 54:17 ... Their righteousness is of ME, saith the Lord.   Was it God who told me to say that thing?   Was it God who told me to do that thing?   Sometimes we are absolutely certain it was God who authored that which we said or that which we did.  Other times we might not know for sure.  Then we can pray, asking God to judge us and asking God to make it clear to us.   I Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time:   ***   Matthew 7  Jesus says:   16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.     Proverb 3: The WORD frees us from fear

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 20, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Proverbs 3:25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.   26 For the Lord (the Word) shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.   ***   Jesus says:   John 10:10   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   Jesus is The Word.   The Word comes to our mind by the Holy Spirit to show us what to do in each issue of this present life so we can go in the will of God in the matter at hand.   Fear strikes.  We cry out to God for help.  God uses the Holy Spirit who is in us to bring to our mind scriptures or concepts to fight that fear and to give us faith in God.   And also God uses the Holy Spirit to show us what to do to handle the situation where there is fear.   Therefore in all things we have the mighty Spirit of God to guide us in each issue of this present life.  

    Two things had to happen before the coming of Jesus. They have both already happened. We must be near.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 14, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    The wrath of God, the great tribulation, is coming upon this world because of the increase of evil in this present world.  The evil we see today is a sign showing us the closeness of the coming of Jesus and the wrath of God that will come at the end of this present world.    No man knows exactly when the great tribulation will come or when Jesus will return to gather the elect from off this present earth, but we have signs.   When we see the leaves appear on the trees don't we know spring is upon us?   Jesus explains to us in Luke 21, that it will be the same today.   As the wickedness increases around us and men approve wickedness, this signals the pending wrath of God that will come upon this world.   One of the signs is increase of homosexuals, as it was in the day of Sodom before God destroyed Sodom.  (Genesis 19)   What God says in Bible about homosexuals and lesbians:   Romans 1:26-27 ... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   So we know this is one of the sins which brings the wrath of God in the destruction at the end of this present world.  As we see the increase of this sins, we can know the wrath of God is not far away.

Antichrist doesn't come through humans."    God reminded me of following scripture:     I John 2:18-19  John said:  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.   19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.   ***   The Bible shows us antichrist coming through people in the church even in the days of the apostle John.   The objective of antichrist is to cause us to depart from the Word of God and to set up doctrine contrary to the Word of God.    The objective of the devil is to destroy the people of God, if we allow ourselves to be destroyed, following destructive thoughts of devils and our own flesh.    Therefore the apostle Paul instructs:    II Corinthians 10:3-5  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:    4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)    5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.    (Making every thought obedient to Christ, THE WORD.)    As long as we live on this earth, we must deal with every thought to make that which "we think" conform to the Word of God, casting all thoughts contrary to the scriptures from us, establishing the truth and what we believe by the scriptures by the Holy Spirit of God.    Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.     1 Peter 3:6-7   Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time:   7 Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.       John 8:31-32  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on HIM, If ye continue in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed;   32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.     James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.   But God looked on Noah and had respect toward Noah and saved Noah and his wife and his sons and his sons' wives and many animals.   Violence is often cloaked under the guise of "good".  But God sees the truth.   Today we see great violence in the heart of humans as policemen wrongly kill other men, and as protesters fail to allow God to judge the evil actions of men, and as men with violence in their hearts take to the streets in various cities and some loot businesses and do many additional evils.   It turns out that all are evil for even the ones who think they are doing good by protesting, fail to trust God ...   Romans 12:18-19 ... If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.   Therefore the police who kill wrongly show they are "antichrist" ... and the protesters who go forth with wrath show they are "antichrist" as they fail to follow scripture.    These happenings warn us today that we are racing toward the great tribulation which God will bring at the end, on all people on this earth who do wickedness.

    I could not live in peace, if I were in debt

This has been critical in keeping me from purchasing wrong things and keeping me from being involved in wrong works. I only buy that which I can pay for immediately.   I Corinthians 7:31  And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.   Also, one thing we must do, between now and the return of Jesus, is to be in peace constantly for the apostle Peter said to be diligent that when Jesus returns HE would find us in peace, without spot, and blameless.     When our righteousness is of God

Also our faith is in God when that is the situation.   Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of ME, saith the Lord.      Matthew 7:22-23  Many will say to ME in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in THY name? and in THY name have cast out devils? and in THY name done many wonderful works?   23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.     Matthew 24:4-5  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.     Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

    (This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 29, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    In the Coronavirus, we, in USA, were shut up in our homes for 3 months and we barely survived.    One plague of the great tribulation is five months and there are 14 plagues.  The endurance will be incredible during the great tribulation.   The elect of God will barely survive.   Jesus said:   Matthew 24   21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.   22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.   By this, we know some of the elect will go through the days of the great tribulation and those plagues that God is sending upon this earth.   Also in one plague we see this:     Revelation 9   3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.   4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.   By this we see some who have "the seal of God" in their foreheads will be living on this earth during the plagues that are coming.   If any of us happen to be one of those, we will have to be able to endure the plagues.   How to endure between now and then?   Some church goers don't seem to understand Jesus is "The Word."   * For writings on additional subjects, click here:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog 

    Be not deceived: Evil communications corrupt good manners

    (This podcast previously recorded and published on June 28, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    If someone in a church group turns from a portion of scripture and goes another way, that person will bring "evil communications" to us in his way of life.     We cannot stay around such a person as this unless he will correct himself if we admonish him with godly correction.   I Corinthians 15:33   Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.   If we warn that person and he rejects our warning, we will be pulled down in grief over him, and we must not deceive ourselves into thinking that we will be able to help him by being with him.     It is God who teaches each of us.     If a person is not being taught by God, we will not be able to reach him.     The fact that God is not teaching him means he is not of God.     We will waste ourselves if we keep trying to give him instruction from God.  Instead we must do the following:   Titus 3    10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;   11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.   Don't keep trying to send messages to him.  If he rejects the first or second message, just walk away from him.  It is so important to our safety to learn to stop sending messages after he rejects one or two messages.  Just do the above scripture!   Words spoken by people stick inside us like a seed and at some point bear fruit in us unless we choose to root up the concept by that given us by God.  

    The church is built on The Word which is revealed by God by HIS Holy Spirit

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  Luke 21:25-27   Many years ago, God gave me a dream where the earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  A newscaster was trying to report what happened but he was too frightened to continue his broadcast so he just got up and left ... The government leaders were meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this matter.   Nothing can be done by man to stop that which is coming upon this earth.   The thing the believers can do between now and then is to get their own lives in good spiritual condition ... for it is coming!

    (Previously recorded and published on July 9, 2024)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    I believe Jesus comes soon to remove us from this earth and judge us before the judgment seat of God.   I am interested in cleaning myself up through God and through doing Bible as led by God as much as possible now before Jesus returns.   I pray and read Bible to make adjustments.   Prayer:   Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Devils flee when we thank God for those good things that HE has allowed into our lives.    Being thankful to God is one of the powerful weapon we have in spiritual warfare.  

    According to the Bible, when we die, our spirit leaves our body and we sleep in Jesus until Jesus returns to gather the elect who are still living

    On May 27, 2025, Joan Boney died, now sleeping in Jesus, as we're told in I Thessalonians 4.   In a podcast Joan recorded and we first broadcast on January 19, 2025, we are exhorted in what the Bible tells us about death.    Those of the world sorrow and often suffer greatly when someone dies.    But for those who believe what we are told in the Bible, there is great comfort, hope, and joy when another believer dies.   This is the podcast initially published on January 19, 2025:   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Death is like "falling asleep."  But at the moment of death, our spirit leaves our body.  And according to the Bible, we sleep in Jesus. (I Thessalonians 4).     When Jesus returns with a shout we will awaken and God gives us a new spiritual body.  We will not have these physical bodies which have pain, decay, and even death.    I Thessalonians 4:13-17   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   With this shout, those who sleep in Jesus will awaken!   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.   ***   James 2:26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.   The moment we die, our spirit leaves our body.  Therefore our spirit is not buried with our bodies in a grave.    ***   My cousin's husband died.  She was with him at the time.  She said, "Thurman reached over and patted my hand and just "fell asleep".   She told me she was going to visit his grave.  I asked, "Why would you do that?  Thurman is not in a grave.  He left his body the second he fell asleep."   She thought about what I said, and then she said, "Then it really doesn't matter where we are buried."  I replied, "Right."   (I think my cousin was born again at that moment.)   ***    I don't go to a funeral home to visit dead bodies.  I am convinced the person who died is not in that dead body.  (I want to remember the person as living not as dead.)   Neither do I visit grave yards where dead bodies have been buried.  (My father, mother, aunt, uncle are not in those graves!  They sleep in Jesus. And at the time Jesus returns to this earth, HE will "shout" and I believe they will awaken from sleep to the resurrection in a new spiritual body.)   (Paul tells us that our physical body will be changed to a new spiritual body.)   I Corinthians 15   47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.   48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.   49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.  (God is a "spirit". John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth .... We will be raised as "spirit" not as a physical body.)   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   (Blink ... that is how fast we will be changed from this physical body.)   Revelation 21:3-5  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   I Corinthians 15   53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

    (Initially published September 23, 2024) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...  No man knows the day or hour Jesus will return but we do know seasons.   As the wickedness increases by people of this world and as the churches cast aside scripture, we know the end is soon.   We are made "wise" unto salvation by the Holy Scripture, the Word of God.   2 Timothy 3:16-17  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:   17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
