(This podcast was previously published on September 12, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... These Old Testament examples teach us to follow God. They allow us to see the work of God on behalf of HIS children. And these examples show us God is always giving information in the problems of life to HIS children. I find these examples to be strengthening and faith building. The children of Israel had to fight in many battles, and so do we today. For to enter in to that land promised by God, we will have many who stand up against us, even people in our own church groups. But we will learn that the Word from God is all that matters. Proverbs 21:30-31 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. All that matters is, "Did God tell me to do this thing?"

Exodus 16 1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. 2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness: (murmured: complained against) 3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in MY law, or no. 5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. (They were not permitted to gather food on the Sabbath nor do any work at all in cooking food on the Sabbath, not even to light a fire for cooking in their tents on the Sabbath. So they had to gather food the day before the Sabbath and cook food the day before the Sabbath.) 6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt: 7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that HE (God) heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? (When I start to complain about something, I am often reminded that God hears this and I often stop myself from complaining about the situation and start praying instead.) 8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against HIM: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD. 9 And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for HE hath heard your murmurings. 10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

From the beginning of my being born again and changed into a new creature by God, HE showed me that no man would stand before me all the days of my life. I would overcome all through HIM and through turning to HIM and by doing that which HE said. I lived in Lubbock, Texas, in a house owned by Jesus Ministries. It was tax exempt. When I left Lubbock, and put the house up for sale, the Lubbock tax assessor put the house into a taxable status, removing us from tax exempt status on the house that was for sale. But the house was still owned by our ministry group which was declared non-profit by the USA government and the State of Texas, yet the city of Lubbock tried to change our status. They wanted us to prove to them that we were tax-exempt even though they had the papers saying we were tax-exempt from both the USA government and the State of Texas. They were trying to charge us $10,000 per year property taxes while the house was for sale. We could not pay such as a non-profit tax exempt ministry. I was furious with the tax assessor. God calmed me down that night, and when I awoke the next morning, I knew exactly what to do. I believe God planted this in my heart that night. I sent the following to the tax assessor of Lubbock, Texas.

The children of Israel greatly rejoiced when God brought them through the Red Sea and when God drowned Pharaoh and his men in the Red Sea. Exodus 15 1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for HE hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath HE thrown into the sea. 2 The LORD is my strength and song, and HE is become my salvation: HE is my God, and I will prepare HIM an habitation (making myself ready for God to live in me); MY father's God, and I will exalt HIM. 3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is HIS name.

(600,000 men plus women and children) God is going to lead them to the point where their back is to the Red Sea. Then Pharaoh starts chasing them with his 600 chariots and there is no where for them to go to escape Pharaoh because the Red Sea is to their back! God will use the Red Sea to destroy Pharaoh and his men and to save the nation of Israel.

In the previous Podcast, we saw the first plague that was sent upon Egypt by God: the rivers and waters were turned to blood (Exodus 7) After this, one by one, God brings the other plagues upon Egypt. * Exodus 8:1-2 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let MY people go, that they may serve ME. 2 And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs: 3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs: 4 And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

Exodus 6 1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. 2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by MY name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. 4 And I have also established MY covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. 5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered MY covenant. 6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7 And I will take you to ME for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD. 9 And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. 10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 11 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land. 12 And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? 13 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

(This podcast was previously published on September 3, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... In the New Testament, Jesus shows us the Word will divide us from those who have not been given God's Word on the matter at hand. Matthew 10 Jesus says: 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. (Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.) Think of the Word of God as a sword which cuts through the flesh of man and separates. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than ME (the Word) is not worthy of ME: and he that loveth son or daughter more than ME is not worthy of ME. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after ME (the Word), is not worthy of ME. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake (for the sake of the Word) shall find it. The Word of God divides us from those people who have not heard from God. But the Word of God also joins us with those people who have heard from God. We know the Word from God is good and it is sometimes shocking that others, especially when in our church group, fight against that Word we bring from God. Pam Padgett encountered this when she told a divorced woman from her church group that if she remarried she would commit adultery. This woman said, "I don't care what the Bible says. I know what I believe." Pam was so shocked to hear that a Christian didn't care what the Bible says. But many who attend churches are not born again and God has not revealed HIMSELF to such who live this way.

Exodus 1 7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land (of Egypt) was filled with them. 8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9 And he said unto his people (to the Egyptians), Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: 10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. 11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. 12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they (the Egyptians) were grieved because of the children of Israel. 13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: 14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

We see that God spoke to Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob. Next in line is Joseph. Of the 12 children of Israel, it was Joseph who was chosen by God. And to Joseph, the elect of God, God spoke through dreams to show Joseph HIS calling. Genesis 37 Dreams: 5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. 6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: (This is the Word of God that Joseph speaks to his brothers and father.) 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. 9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? 11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

HE just brings truth to my mind and opens my eyes to see truth. Mostly I do realize that which was spoken was not coming from me but from God. I think it might help you to re-read those times God spoke to Pam Padgett. God might use these examples to show you HE has been speaking to you but you failed to recognize it was God. (We recently re-published that Podcast on July 16, 2026.) On this Podcast we are going to focus on that which God has spoken to you. Consider this question: What has God spoken to you? Again I encourage you to sit down and make a list of those Words which you believe to have been spoken to you by God. For when we are children of God, God speaks to us, HIS children. Just ask God to bring to your mind those things HE has said to you. After you list things you believe God spoke to you, we would enjoy it very much if you shared those things with us. If you would send an email we could put these in with other words spoken to other people of God and that would edify the body of Christ. Send these by email to: jesusministries@comcast.net

Genesis 1 First God created everything the man and woman would need: The heaven and earth, plants, animals, fish and fowl, trees for fruit. Then God created man. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in HIS own image, in the image of God created HE him; male and female created HE them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 31 And God saw every thing that HE had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 2 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 21-22 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and HE took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made HE a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Noah was a righteous man and therefore God did not destroy Noah in the waters of the flood but God made a way of escape for Noah. (the ark) God also raised up another righteous man unto HIMSELF, Abraham. (Genesis 12) God spoke to Abram and told him to depart from his father's house and Abram departed. Abram departed as the Lord had told him but he didn't know where he was going. He just departed from his father's land. Genesis 12 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (For 25 years, God told Abram that great nations would come from his seed. But Sarai, Abram's wife was barren. In spite of the circumstances, Abram believed God and it was counted by God as righteousness because Abram believed God. He refused to believe that which he saw with his natural eyes. Abram clung to the Word of God.) 5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. 6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. 7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. Abram had no seed. Abram had no children and his wife Sarai was barren. Abram was 75 when he departed as God had told him to do and Abram was going to wait another 25 years before God gave him "that promised seed." 8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. 9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. 10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

Noah was a righteous man, so when God destroyed this present earth by waters covering the earth, God made a way to save the life of Noah and His generations. God later raised up another righteous man: Abram, renamed Abraham by God. Genesis 12 (God speaks to Abram) 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; Keeping the Word spoken by God before us is the only thing that matters. As we do that, we follow God. In the coming Podcasts and writings, we will focus on what God said.

It rained on the earth 40 days and 40 nights and all flesh died except for Noah and those in the ark with him. After the flood, God dried the land from the waters and brought Noah and all living creatures out of the ark, and God made a covenant with Noah. Genesis 8 20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in HIS heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 9 12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between ME and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. (God's bow: the rainbow) 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember MY covenant, which is between ME and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

In the following scripture, the sabbath for the New Testament church is described. Hebrews 4 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into HIS rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as HE said, As I have sworn in MY wrath, if they shall enter into MY rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For HE spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all HIS works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into MY rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, HE limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would HE not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into HIS rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from HIS.

(This podcast was previously published on August 14, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Man, who is born of the flesh, does the works of the flesh. The flesh never improves. By the Holy Spirit we can control the flesh. But the flesh is always trying to rise up in us and take over. This is the reason we see so much sin, corruption, violence, and hatred in the acts of humans today. The flesh is ruling in those persons who do evil works. Galatians 5 21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft (living in superstitions), hatred, variance (arguing), emulations (trying to outdo others), wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. We who are born again, born of the Spirit of God, have the Spirit of God in us so we can choose those things brought to our attention by the Spirit of God and overcome our own flesh, not doing the works of the flesh but choosing to do those things shown to us by the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We control our own flesh by refusing to do that which our flesh wants to do and instead we do that which the Holy Spirit shows us to do in the matter at hand.

Jesus is telling us in Luke 17, that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of Jesus when HE raises the dead in Christ and sends HIS angels to gather the elect of God from off this earth. What were the masses of people like in the days of Noah? As the people were in Noah's time, so shall they be in the end of this present world. Genesis 6 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIM at HIS heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth ME that I have made them. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted HIS way upon the earth.

Genesis 22:1-2 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And HE (God) said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. The child of the flesh, by the will of man, Ishmael was not recognized by God. Isaac was the child of the promise made by God to Abraham.

Genesis 3 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. (Now they knew sin. And they no longer wanted to be around anyone who might see their sin.) 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard THY voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And HE (God) said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom THOU gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Penalties come because of sin: 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman HE said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam HE said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

(This podcast was previously published on August 9, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The serpent came to Eve and presented a very twisted statement. Genesis 3 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Eve added to that which God said. God did not say, "Neither shall ye touch it.") The following is what God commanded to Adam: Genesis 2 15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. When a person adds to the Word of God, he weakens that Word of God. Because that person who does this knows he added something and therefore it becomes difficult for that person to believe the actual Word from God because he knows only part of what he said is actually the Word from God. We must be very careful in handling the Word of God. If we have the Word of God in writing, we must return to that which God said and be certain of that which God actually said, and we must look at the Word many times.

Romans 5 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

(The naming of an animal gives you a type of dominance over that animal.) 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and HE took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made HE a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

God spoke The Word, and it was created. Everything that was created was created by HIM, by The Word, by Jesus: John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by HIM (The Word); and without HIM (The Word) was not any thing made that was made. Joshua 1 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. God says: 9 Have not I commanded thee? (Did God tell you to do this thing? That's all that matters.) Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Other verses in Joshua 1: (Which I have found valid today.) 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses MY servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. We overcome all people and all things through that Word which God gives us concerning the issue of this life.

(This podcast was previously published on July 16, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. We, the elect of God, endure by following that which is brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit. Remember the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and HE will: teach us all things, remind us of all that Jesus has said, guide us into all truth, and show us things to come. (John 14:26 & John 16:13) Also God will not fail us nor forsake us. (Joshua 1:5 & Hebrews 13:5) Jesus says: John 6 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst. 39-40 And this is the Father's will which hath sent ME, that of all which HE hath given ME I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of HIM that sent ME, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on HIM, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on ME hath everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: We eat the "bread" by believing the Word that is carried to us by the Spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit. We do this as long as God leaves us on this earth. The elect of God hear the voice of Jesus by HIS Spirit and we follow HIM and will not follow the voice of a stranger. John 10 John 10 Jesus says: 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 27 My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand. 29 My Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand. 30 I and MY Father are one. John 6 Jesus says: 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you. Every time God sends HIS Word to us and we eat and drink that Word, believing on that Word, we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood and have HIS life by HIS Word which was sent to us by God. They received manna and ate it and lived. But we receive Jesus by that Word that comes down to us from God and we eat that Word and live by HIM and life is in us each time we receive HIS Word ... I've always thought it is like receiving a blood transfusion. Jesus says: 54 Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For MY flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

(This podcast was previously published on May 3, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Jesus said: And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. (Matthew 10:36) So it is not unusual when you speak the Word from God to have a relative or the church people fight against that Word. In 1977, my cousin, Church of Christ member, once said to me, "Well ... I believe you are a Christian ... I just don't see how you can be one." She did not understand being born again. For the next 40-years, she fought me and tried to get me to quit the work I believe God gave me to do. In 2019, she waged her last battle against me. It was by exchange of letters for by this time she had gone totally deaf and could not hear by phone and the only communication I could have with her was by letter. (She didn't know how to do email so we sent US mail to each other.) She lived in another city from me, about 500 miles away. She was 97-years-old at that time. My prayer was that God would reveal to her before she died that I was of HIM and I was just trying to do that which HE told me to do. (Then she could be saved and go to the new heaven, new Jerusalem. But if she died fighting against me, that would be same as fighting against God.) On May 31, 2021, God gave me a dream showing me this cousin now knows I was doing HIS work and we were at peace with one another. I've always believed God could save a person at the time of that person's last breath on this earth. Just speak the truth and hold fast to the truth when speaking to another person. And quit worrying and have faith in God. If we pray according to the will of God, our prayer will be answered. I John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us: And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM.

God knows the future and HE leads us through this current "wilderness" by bringing to our mind ideas showing us what to do. Or sometimes God will plant in our heart the truth of the situation and by that truth we know what to do. Many things are coming upon this world because of the sins of the world and because of the sins of the apostate church groups who have fallen away from specific scriptures. But in all troubles, God helps the elect of God, those who are born again and given the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit is used by God in guiding the New Testament church. Each person who belongs to God has the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul tells us this: I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? And Jesus tells us what the Holy Spirit does for each of us. John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

In 1975, after I was born again, God began teaching me how to recognize ideas that are from God so I could go in the way of God on this present earth. One of the first things God taught me is this: Matthew 11:30 Jesus said: MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light. If something was overly expensive, I knew I did not have God's plan. If it was very difficult to do, I knew I did not have God's plan so I stopped and began praying again, asking God for HIS wisdom. Promise from the Bible: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Recognizing the wisdom that is from God: James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Examples of wisdom from God given in this Podcast:

God has clearly shown us the following: 2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. Luke 21:33-36 Jesus says: Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

As the wickedness increases we know Jesus comes soon and the judgment of God and the complete destruction of the heaven and earth by God. On July 10, 2021, I was watching on NFL channel the replay of a football game from 2020. A commercial appeared on screen. It was obvious to me this commercial was extremely high level advertisement. Total black screen ... with one word at a time in white letters in the center of the screen. NFL ... is ... for ... (several words) then ... Gays ... Lesbians ... etc ... Who speaks what the Bible says? (Even most churches won't do this today.) The Bible says: Romans 1:26-27 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
