(This podcast was previously recorded and published on December 7, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we believe the Word of God we are filled with joy and peace and hope.   There are thousands upon thousands of great promises of God for us in the Bible.    2 Peter 1:4   Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.   When the Holy Spirit of God reminds us of one of these promises of God in the situation of this present life, we can focus on that promise and live above the troubles of this world because we know the God who created this world is far greater than this world.  We hope in God!   The church is built upon that Word which God reveals to us in the problems of this life.  We stand upon "that word", the word that comes to us from God by HIS Spirit.  Therein is power.   *****   We have great joy and peace and hope for we believe Jesus will return and gather the church.  Jesus will raise the dead in Christ and Jesus will remove those who are still living who are of God from this present earth.   How do we know these things?   The Bible tells us this.   I Thessalonians 4   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   ***   We will all be changed into our new spiritual bodies:   I Corinthians 15   The apostle Paul says:   48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.   49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   ***   Then we will be taken to the new heaven and the new earth which is prepared by God for all who are righteous.   Revelation 21  The apostle John says:   1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   ***   There will be no unrighteous in that new heaven and new earth, the new Jerusalem.   Revelation 22  Jesus says:   12  And, behold, I come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.   13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.   14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.   15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.   ***   In the end, God will destroy this present heaven and earth by fire.   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   ***   And this present heaven and earth will not even come to mind.   Isaiah 65  God says:   17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.   18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.   19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in MY people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 26, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    II Peter 2:1-3   But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.   And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.   Concerning the last days, Jesus warns:   Matthew 24:3-5  And as HE (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?   4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.    They come to us saying they are pastors or other ministers of Jesus.  Others come saying they are Christians and they say "Jesus is Lord".   And because they say Jesus is the Christ, we will listen to them and they will deceive many.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on December 1, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Jesus says:  Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:54)   How do we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood?   Jesus is "THE WORD".  Each time we eat the Word and make it a part of our lives on this earth by doing The Word, HE, Jesus lives in us.   This is the communion with God.  This is the way we partake of the Lord's Supper.  We eat The Word, doing The Word.   This causes us to live in Jesus.   *****   John 6  (Jesus says)   33  For the bread of God is HE which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.   35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.   48  I (The Word) am that bread of life.   51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread (The Word), he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is MY flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.   54  Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood (The Word), hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.   55  For MY flesh is meat indeed, and MY blood is drink indeed.   56 He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him.   (As we eat "The Word" that is given to us by God by the Holy Spirit, and as we live that Word in our daily lives, we live in HIM, in Jesus, The Word.)   57 As the living Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME.   ***   John 14:6  (Jesus says)  I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.   THE Word, given us by the Holy Spirit, is the way to go.  The Word is truth and life.  The Word is Jesus.   ***   John 1   1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.   2 The same was in the beginning with God.   3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.   4 In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.   ***   Matthew 7  (Jesus says)   21 Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY Father which is in heaven.   22 Many will say to ME in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in THY name? and in THY name have cast out devils? and in THY name done many wonderful works?   23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.   24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:   25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.   26 And every one that heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:   27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 19, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   In the first plague of the great tribulation, 1/3 of the earth will be affected.  Therefore it is possible others on this earth will not recognize this as a part of the great tribulation.   In the second and third plague of the great tribulation, 1/3 of the earth will also be affected.   But in the fourth plague, all the earth will be affected.   That which the Holy Spirit called to my attention in 2020 is "1/3" ... and we can see how it fits as we look at these scriptures in Revelation which tell of the plagues of the great tribulation that are coming upon this present earth before God destroys this heaven and earth.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 17, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Some preachers speak of a difference between the "God" of the Old Testament and the "God" of the New Testament, as if God has changed.   These preachers disregard scriptures such as:   Galatians 6:7-8   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.   II Corinthians 5:9-11  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;   I Corinthians 6:9-10  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   And in the book of Revelation, we read of that great tribulation, the 14 plagues God will send upon this present earth in the last days before Jesus returns.   Revelation 8   6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.   7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.   8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;  9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.   10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.   12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.   13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!   *****   Revelation 9   6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.   20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:  21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.   Matthew 24    Jesus says:  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.   29-31  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   ***   Then God destroys the present heavens and the earth:   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 23, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Here is a letter received November 18, 2020, from a woman in Italy.   Dears in Christ,   My husband Gianluca - (Italy), has been attacked 2 times, tonight and early this morning with 2 awful mental oppressions, while sleeping, the second worst than the first.  Even if we have prayed and taken authority he's still attacked.   I ask prayer till the Lord reveals to us what is "the root" of those attacks, those mental oppressions   Thank you so much.  God bless you.  Yours in Christ:  - Lea and Gianluca - (Italy)   My response:  (Joan Boney)   11-18-2020   I had this happen to me about two months ago.   I just kept calling out to God for help.   Hold onto God. Refuse to let go.   Just keep crying out to God.   Joan Boney   *****   We cry out to God for help:  "Please, God, help me."   It is really as simple as that.   Trust in God.  Wait on God until you receive information.   It is very dangerous to look for scripture in such times.  Just wait after crying out to God, trusting HIM.   God might choose to bring something to your attention to do, or the battle might just end.   Regardless, we hold onto God, crying out to God for help.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 15, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   What do we do? as we continue to live on this present earth.   I go by these instructions which Paul gave to Timothy in the New Testament Bible:   I Timothy 4   13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.   14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee  ... (the spiritual gift which God has given us for the church)   15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.   16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.   *****   * to reading:   The New Testament Bible is filled with letters which the apostle Paul wrote to the church.   I've been re-reading these epistles in a single setting.  Such as reading the entire letter to the Romans.   Then I read the next day the entire first letter to the Corinthians ... then the second letter to the Corinthians ... then the following days, reading the letters: Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, etc.   I also focus on some of the meditation scriptures which I have accumulated for these build me up in the faith in God and help me to stay focused.   I read our blog daily:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations    In my bathroom, I keep one of the ministry books that we have published on Amazon.  (see Joan Boney)   These books are filled with scripture.  I use paperback book for bathroom.  You can start anywhere in any one of the books and be edified in things of God with many scriptures.  I find re-reading these books helpful to me.   Often as I am reading, God will catch my attention on a subject for me to write that subject.  For example, when I began reading I Corinthians 1:1-2  Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:  God got my attention on how we are all called to be saints.   I thought of how the Catholic church appoints certain dead men and women as "saints" and how they teach their people that these dead "saints" have certain powers to help them, which is abominable doctrine for they teach their people to trust in corpses rather than to trust in the living God.   I was stirred up by the Holy Spirit to write an exhortation to the church concerning the subject of "saints" according to the Bible meaning.   ***   * to exhortation:   To exhort means to urge earnestly by advice and warning.  We are to exhort one another in the faith in God and the Word of God.  For the days are certainly evil and many evil concepts are spoken by humans on TV and in person.   I Timothy 4:7-8   But refuse profane (secular sayings) and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.  8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.   A Catholic woman often visited me at my previous home in Texas.  She spoke many "profane" sayings which were not in the Bible.  I would just look at her and tell her I lived by the Bible and what she just said was not in the Bible.  This is the way I "rejected" her profane sayings.   When you do this, they will usually depart from you and choose not to keep company with you any more.   ***   *  to doctrine:   Doctrine is critical for us.  Doctrine are the rules of God from the New Testament church.  We live by doctrines, such as:   * The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5:32)   * Flee fornication:  Every sin that a man doeth is without the body but he who committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  (I Corinthians 6)   * And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.  (I Corinthians 7:10-11)   *  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  (Romans 1:26-28)   * Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (I Corinthians 6:9-10)   * For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?  (Hebrews 10:26-29)   * For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.  (Hebrews 6:4-6)   * For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.  (II Peter 2:20-22)   It is critical for us to keep reading these doctrines of Christ for this world and the churches today teach something very different from the New Testament Bible.   ***   So I have set myself daily to do that which Paul said to do:  "Give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine."   I believe doing this gives me a better opportunity to endure to the end of my time on this earth.   Jesus says:   Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 16, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   When we are in the midst of a struggle over an issue of this present life, God will often show us what to do by bringing a thought or concept to our mind whereby we can overcome the evil of this present world.  Or God might give us a dream.   Regardless, we always overcome through God, by going HIS way in the situation.   2 Corinthians 2:14  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.   A businessman defrauded me once concerning a defective television unit.  He would not fix the unit although he said he would do so.    I kept trying to tune that TV (a plasma) which had wide streaks on the left side of the screen.   One day, as I was trying to adjust the TV, the following came to my mind:  "You don't have to put up with this."   "That's right."  I reasoned.   And I realized I could afford to replace the TV and just have the unit removed from my house.  (The way of peace in this matter.)   I bought a new TV that same day and when the installers came to my house to set up the TV, I had the installer carry away the defective TV, not wanting to have it in my house to remind me of that bad situation.   When we hear a word from God, we know what to do and we always overcome in the situation by doing what we hear from God, and we rejoice in God who gave us HIS Word on the matter.   Sometimes we win by suffering the loss.   I Corinthians 6:7   Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?   Consider Joseph:   God left Joseph in prison for 2 full years after he was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife!   Joseph submitted to the authority, and God caused Joseph to prosper even in the prison.   Genesis 39   20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.   21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.   22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.   23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.   These are astounding examples for us!   We could destroy ourselves by the evil they do against us if we puff up and fight that evil in worldly ways and complain and murmur.   Sometimes we must wait quietly until we hear what God wants us to do in the issue.

In the Old Testament, when a king of the children of Israel removed the Sodomites from the city, that king was said to be a king who did right in the sight of God. (I Kings 22:43-46)   God sent 2 angels to Sodom to destroy the city and all the people except for Lot and his wife and two daughters.   When homosexuals came from every quarter of Sodom to have sex with the two angels, Lot said to the men of Sodom,   "I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly."  (Genesis 19:7)   The homosexual acts of the men of Sodom were known to be wicked.   And these men of Sodom did not try to hide their homosexual preferences, but they were openly known to be homosexuals, and their wickedness reached God, and God sent the angels to destroy these men and to destroy Sodom and all the people in Sodom.   The angel explained to Lot:   Genesis 19:12-13   And the men (the angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:   13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.   When the sins become open before all, then the cry "of them" as they flaunt their sin waxes great before God and God deals with their open sins.   Isaiah 3:9   The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.   The time of judgment is upon this world.   The Catholic pope announced to the world on October 21, 2020, that same sex marriages would be approved in Catholic church when they were performed in civil ceremonies.   The Catholic pope condemns himself and his followers to eternal hell by his approval of sins against God.   And such also is the case of protestant preachers who approve sins of the Bible in their church groups.   II Thessalonians 2:10-12  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.   *****   Revelation 22   Jesus says:   11 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.   13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.   14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.   15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.   ***   Romans 1   22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,   23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.   24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:   25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   ***   They would not repent ... or could not repent:   II Peter 3   8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.   9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   Revelation 2:21  And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.   Revelation 9:20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:   Revelation 16:9   And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.   Revelation 16:11  And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. ***   Deuteronomy 23:17  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 12, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The first church I attended after I was born again was teaching that tongues are of the devil.   I was reading the Bible and came across the following scripture:  The apostle Paul said:  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.  (I Corinthians 14:39)   What do you do when the doctrine being taught at your church differs from that which you read in the Bible?   We have to choose.  Do we follow our church or do we follow the Bible?  We can't do both.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 9, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    At the time we are born again, God gives us HIS Spirit to live in us to teach us all things, to remind us of all Jesus has said to us, to guide us into all truth and to show us things to come.  (John 14:26 &16:13)   A mighty power of God lives in us.   Ephesians 3:20  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,   * God brings thoughts to our minds by HIS Spirit to show us what to do.   * God speaks to us through dreams.   * God sometimes gives us an open vision.   * Angels are still used by God to deliver instructions.   * God gives us special gifts of the Holy Spirit to place us where HE wants us to serve HIM.   God has given the believer every advantage on this earth.   We grow and thrive through God.   *****   The Holy Spirit of Jesus lives in each believer and that Spirit searches the mind of God to show the believer the will of God in the issues pertaining to this present life.   II Corinthians 13:5   Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?   I Corinthians 2   9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.   10 But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.   11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.   12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.   13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.    ***   The Holy Spirit of Jesus dwells in us and is with us day and night.  We are never left alone.   The Spirit teaches us all things, reminds us of all that Jesus has said to us, guides us into all truth, and shows us things to come.  (John 14:26 & 16:13)   The Holy Spirit of Jesus speaks to us by bringing thoughts, concepts, ideas to our minds so we can know what to do in the specific issues of this present life.   And the Word of God also comes to us by dreams, visions, messages sent by angels.   Sometimes God just plants HIS will directly into our hearts as is described in the following scripture:   Hebrews 8  God says:   10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put MY laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to ME a people:   11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know ME, from the least to the greatest.    ***   John 6  Jesus says:   35  And Jesus said unto them, I (The Word) am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.   44  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I (The Word) will raise him up at the last day.   Jesus comes "with a shout" and the dead in Christ rise first.  I Thessalonians 4:16   Then they which are alive on the earth are changed into their spiritual bodies and arise to meet Jesus and the dead who have risen "in the air".  And they are taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Revelation 21:1-5   The great tribulation from God comes to this earth to judge the wickedness of men.  Revelation 8-16   Then the heavens and earth as we know it are destroyed by fire from God.  II Peter 3:10-14 ***   But as long as God chooses to leave us on this present earth, HE guides us and teaches us by the Holy Spirit of Jesus who lives in us and we follow HIM.   We do not follow the ideas of man but we follow the Spirit of God and the Holy Scriptures.   Therefore we serve God by following HIS Spirit.   ***   Hebrews 1:1-2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds;   John 1   1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.   2 The same was in the beginning with God.   3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.   The Word comes to us today and we follow The Word.   ***   The kingdom of Jesus is not of this world.   John 18:36   Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.   When we learn this principle, we stop focusing on this world and we wait patiently to be taken off this world by Jesus and be taken to the new heaven and new earth created for God's people, wherein dwells only righteousness.   Revelation 22  Jesus says:   12 And, behold, I come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.   13 I (The Word) am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.   14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.   15 For without are dogs, sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 7, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Remember:  God knows the future.   A famine was coming upon the earth.  God made provision for HIS people, in ways we could never imagine.   Elijah, the prophet, was being hunted by wicked Jezebel who vowed to kill Elijah.  God provided for Elijah in ways we could never imagine.   Today, God provides for us by HIS Spirit by showing us what to do at this exact point in time.  When we follow those thoughts brought to us by God, we move into the way of God for us on this present earth, which I believe is soon to suffer the woes of the great tribulation sent by God to judge the wickedness of this world.   On this Podcast, I speak a great deal about Joseph who was sold into slavery and how God caused Joseph to profit everywhere Joseph was placed.   When we belong to God, God gives us gifts which cause us to prosper in those places where we live.  Or God might move us to a new place.  But God knows all the future and that which is coming and God makes provision for us, and we learn to trust God and we learn to follow HIM.   

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 5, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Jesus came to this earth in the form of a man for a short while.   Jesus was in heaven with God as "The Word", a spirit.   But The Word took on the form of a man to be able to suffer and die for us that we could be saved.   Then Jesus was raised from the dead by God and our sins were covered by Jesus' own blood.   But some think to crucify Jesus afresh by doing sins after they have had their sins paid for by Jesus' blood.   And many religious people today picture a type of human form of Jesus which is to create Jesus again to suffer in the flesh of man.   But Jesus is a Spirit as God is a Spirit as the Holy Spirit is Spirit.   And Jesus says:   John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.   Jesus is revealed to us today each time the Spirit of Jesus brings "The Word" to our minds so we can know what to do on this present earth.   As we do "The Word" we worship God in spirit and in truth.   And today Jesus lives in each believer.   II Corinthians 13:5   Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?   After Jesus was taken back into heaven, HE appears no more to us on this earth in the form of a man.  But HE lives in us and speaks to us by HIS Spirit.   Those religious people today who desire to see a human form of Jesus would have Jesus suffer again in the flesh of man.  That will not happen.   But in the end times, there will be "false Christs" who appear, perhaps in vision, to try to get individuals to do something or to try to get individuals to follow them to some place.   Jesus says:  Do not go with them.  Do not believe them.  (Matthew 24)  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 24, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    In 2016, I was watching TV and happened upon the Democratic National Convention.  As they showed the delegates, the cameras viewed in on a woman.  Something seemed wrong.  She was wearing a dress.  She had on heels and women's jewelry.  She wore a woman's make-up.  Then I realized she was a man dressed as a woman!  A slight beard had begun to appear on her face.  I was very shocked!   Somehow seeing this man dressed as a woman at a political convention showed me how very evil the world of politics is today.    A Christian could not be a part of being involved in such worldly evil.    The Bible says the following concerning homosexuals and lesbians.   Romans 1:24-28   Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.   For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   As a Christian, we cannot participate in anything that is contrary to Bible for the apostle John says to approve such and wish them well would be to make ourselves as a participant in their evil deeds.   II John   8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.   9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.   10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:   11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.   Politics in every way is filled with hatred and will cause the Christian to hate and to fight the other party.   And we must abstain from those things which cause us to hate.   To vote for either party is to approve worldly men who do evil things.   Instead, the apostle Paul says to pray for those in authority.   I Timothy 2:1-2  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.   If we learn to hate the other political party, how can we pray for those in authority if they win the election?   As Christians we are separated from the work of worldly men and women.  We live in this world but are not of this world.  Our goal is to live in peace, without spot and blameless in the sight of God, as we wait for Jesus who takes us out of this world and takes us to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  (II Peter 3:14 & Revelation 21:21-5)   We cannot be a part of politics and vote for men of this world allowing ourselves to be a part of their evil.   This is explained in this podcast.    *****   I Thessalonians 5   1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.   2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.   3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.   4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.   5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.   6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.   7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.   8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.   9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,   10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.   11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.   ***   * "Peace and safety "   In the 1960's in Texas if a homosexual was caught, he was put in prison.  It was against the law to be homosexual in Texas.   Today homosexuals are safe in USA as never before.  They have to be saying "peace & safety" as never before.   Homosexuals and lesbians can even draw benefits from USA government as married couples.   They are protected in their jobs in USA.  People are forbidden in the work force today to speak that which the Bible says about homosexuals and lesbians.   The leaders of the Catholic church have publicly accepted same sex marriages.   Nothing can touch homosexuals and lesbians today ... except for God!   Adultery and fornication, sex outside of marriage between men and women, is often approved and protected in USA.  Adultery and fornication approved and accepted by society as "normal".  We are rarely shocked by anything today for it appears over and over before our eyes.   The churches invite all to come to church.   The doctrines of Christ have been silenced and removed in the church groups so no one will be offended in their various sins which are approved at the churches.   All is well!   A time of "peace and safety" ... surely we draw nearer to the coming wrath of God, the great tribulation (Revelation 8-16), upon this earth and the removal of the godly from this earth.   Jesus says:   Matthew 24   21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.   29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 11, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   A woman in our church group was divorced and went to a pastor to see if she could remarry after divorce.    The pastor told her:  "My sister divorced and remarried.  I don't see anything wrong with that."   A few years ago, the Catholic pope made a televised statement that he didn't see anything wrong about homosexuals.   Neither of these men read the Bible.   So this divorced woman remarried.   A few years later this woman was born again and began reading the Bible.  When I met her and she told me this story, she was really angry at that pastor who told her she could remarry.  By the scriptures she saw she committed adultery when she remarried.   The vast majority of churches today present a freedom to sin by telling the divorced woman she can remarry after divorce.  They ignore what the Bible says and set up another doctrine.  They present to their church groups "another Jesus", another word.   There are several scriptures on this subject of divorce/remarriage and they all agree:   *****   I Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.   ***   Romans 7:1-3   1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?   2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.   3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.   This scripture is "inspired by God", as are all scriptures.   Paul wrote this to the New Testament Church as a "law of God" for the women.   Yet churches today explained this scripture away by saying we are not under the law in the church today.   This foolishness in handling scripture is despicable and damning to the church.  There are many "laws of God" in the New Testament Bible including this law in Romans 7.  If you eliminate this concerning the woman being under the law (rule) of her husband, you have to remove most of the New Testament Bible and even some of the Old Testament for God said:  Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.  (Gen. 3:19)   We are not under the Old Testament laws of God concerning sacrifice for sins for Jesus is our sacrifice for sins but that is not the same subject as remarriage after divorce.   Romans 7:1-3 is a valid rule for women in the New Testament church.  And when we consider the following scriptures on this subject, notice they agree with Romans 7.   ***   Paul said the following is the commandment for the Lord in the New Testament Church:   I Corinthians 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   ***   Mark 10:6-9  Jesus says:  But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.   12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   ***    Here is one of the most misused scriptures of all twisted teachings in today's church.   Matthew 5:32  Jesus says, in speaking to the men of the church:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   * If a man divorces a "faithful wife", and that faithful wife remarries, she will commit adultery but her husband will be the cause of her adultery.   * The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.   But churches are twisting this scripture and teaching the following:  "If a husband is committing fornication, the wife can divorce that husband and remarry."   This is not correct:  The scripture says if the wife is faithful and her husband divorces her and she remarries she will commit adultery. But her husband will be the cause of her adultery upon her remarriage after divorce.  And the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.   ***   If the divorced woman remarries she commits adultery according to the Bible.   Matthew 19   3 The Pharisees also came unto HIM (to Jesus), tempting HIM, and saying unto HIM, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?   4 And HE (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,   5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?   6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   Paul explains that at the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh:  Even if a man has sex with a prostitute they become "one flesh".   I Corinthians 6:15-16  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   ***   Matthew 19:7-9  They say unto HIM, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?   8 HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.   9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.   If the wife is unfaithful, the husband can divorce that unfaithful wife and remarry.   But the same is not true for the wife with an unfaithful husband because Paul said in I Corinthians 7:10-11, this is the commandment of the Lord for the woman in the New Testament church.  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   ***   So if you are a divorced woman, according to Bible, you are to remain unmarried or return to your husband.   If the woman's husband is dead, she is free to remarry but only in the Lord.   I Corinthians 7:39  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.   ***   These scriptures are "freedom from sin" to those who follow these instructions.   A woman called me once wanting to discuss with me her mother's second marriage.   God said to me:  "Just focus on the scriptures and what they say."

God forbid.   16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   (Even if the woman is a prostitute, you become one flesh with her at the time of sexual intercourse.  Do you really want to do this?)   17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   (Sexual sins are sins against your own body.  Sexual sins are different from all other sins.)   It is not simply a matter of birth control.  It is a sin against yourself and a sin against the Word of God.   And sex joining you to that other person fragments your soul for you can't separate by walking away.  That, being one flesh, stays with you whether you think so or not.   Truths from Bible help greatly.   And in the temptation, you can escape if you will do the following:   Ask God to help you.  Ask God not to let you do this.   God is more powerful than our flesh.   (Teach your children these things.)   Many young women today live as unpaid whores.   God says:   Deuteronomy 23:17  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.   If you are the church, take note of the above.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 4, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Jesus says, in the end times, "false Christs" will appear in "secret chambers", which I believe to be private areas in homes such as bedrooms,  I believe some church people will report seeing Jesus appear to them in their "chamber".   Just all of a sudden there will be a human type figure which will display himself as Jesus and the person will believe it is Jesus appearing, but it will be a false Christ.   Jesus warns us as follows:   Matthew 24   23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.   24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.   25 Behold, I have told you before.   26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, HE is in the desert; go not forth: behold, HE is in the secret chambers; believe it not.   (If anyone comes saying, "I saw Jesus in my bedroom,"  believe it not!)   27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.   When I attended the church group Word of Faith in the early 1980's, individuals often came saying they had seen an angel.  I always wondered about this for they never told any message sent by the angel or anything that angel did.  I felt their visions might be conjured from their own minds.   Paul warns:   Colossians 2:18  Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 2, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   As we live on this present earth, The Word, Jesus, is our light.  HE brings thoughts to our mind to show us the way to go and we, who belong to Him, follow His Word.   John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   Devils also bring thoughts to our mind.  But their goal is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. We flee from those ideas brought by devils.   If we belong to God, we recognize the voice of Jesus, The Word, The Holy Spirit of Jesus.   Jesus said:  John 10:4-5  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.  And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.   Jesus comes to us that we might have life and have it even more abundantly than we already have life.   So those thoughts that steal, kill and destroy are thoughts of devils and we do not follow those instructions.  Devils also bring thoughts of the past to torment us and destroy us if we will let that happen. Thoughts from devils bring sadness, discomfort, torment.   We recognize it is a devil bringing such thoughts and we call out to God for help and God does help us when we turn to HIM. And we flee from thoughts from devils and we follow the thoughts sent by God by HIS Spirit.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 1, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   As we wait for the return of Jesus where HE take us off this earth and takes us to the new heaven and the new earth, the apostle Peter says to us the following concerning how we are to live as we wait for Jesus.   II Peter 3:13-14   Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   We cannot be involved in the schemes of this present world.  We can't give approval to political parties where much evil is being done and where Bible is flaunted in hypocritical ways before our faces. We can't protest in the streets.  Our kingdom is not of this world.  We are just waiting on this earth for Jesus to return and remove us from this earth and take us to the new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells.  This present earth will never be righteous regardless of what we might try to do.   Righteousness is in the new heaven and the new earth which God has prepared for HIS people.   Romans 12:2  Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   Pray for those in authority, but don't entangle yourself with them.   I Timothy 2:1-3   I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;   And Paul says:   II Timothy 2:3-4   Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please HIM who hath chosen him to be a soldier.   As those chosen by God, follow God and serve God, doing the Word of God according to the New Testament Bible.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 4, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Focus on what the New Testament Bible says concerning the matter at hand.  We renew our minds to the Bible rather than considering that which people say about the subject.    The Bible is truth from God.   Concerning sexual intercourse:  At the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh.   Paul warns the men of his time:  I Corinthians 6 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.  16  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.  17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.   18  Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.   Notice that Paul says sexual sins are unlike all other sins.  Verse 18:  Sexual sins are sins against your own body.   In I Corinthians 6, the apostle Paul also warns about other sins:  And Paul says they that do such sins will not inherit the kingdom of God.    9  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   Christians are baptized unto the death of Christ that they might walk in newness of life serving God.  (Romans 6)   God gives each of us HIS own spirit to show us what to do on this present earth.  (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   And we have the New Testament Bible to confirm to us rules of God and the will of God.   II Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.   So we renew our minds to the scriptures, seeing the will of God for us.  We establish our way by scripture, building our house on that which God says as we walk on this present earth.   Here are more things shared in this Podcast which enable us to renew our mind of that which God says.   *****   Divorce/remarriage:   I Corinthians 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   Romans 7:1-3  Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  3  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.   Matthew 5:32   But I say unto you (says Jesus), That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   Matthew 19:9   And I  (Jesus) say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.   * If a faithful wife is divorced by her husband, she will commit adultery if she remarries. (Mt. 5:32)   * The husband who divorced the faithful wife will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries.  (Mt. 5:32)   * The man who divorces a faithful wife and marries another woman commits adultery.  (Mt. 19:9)   *  The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.  (Mt. 5:32 & Mt. 19:9)   Mark 10  6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;  8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9  What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   11-12   And HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.  And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   Several years ago, a woman contacted me wanting to talk to me about her mother's second marriage.  God said to me:  "Don't focus on the circumstances of the second marriage.  Just focus on that which the Bible says."   ***   Concerning homosexuals & lesbians:   Romans 1   18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;   19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.   20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:   21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.   22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,   23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.   24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:   25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another;   18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;   19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.   ***   Walk in the Spirit:   Romans 8:   1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   The flesh will desire to do the works of the flesh which are:  Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  (Galatians 5:19-21)   Galatians 5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.   The Spirit of God lives in us and HE will reminds us of ways to go when we are tempted.  If we walk in the Spirit, we follow what HE says.  If we turn from HIS instructions and follow the desire of our own flesh, we place ourselves in danger of being turned over to a reprobate mind by God.   We crucify our flesh by walking in the way of the Spirit.  Our flesh will suffer when it does not get its way but our soul is spared when we choose to go in the way of the Spirit.   Romans 8   5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.   6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.   11  But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.   12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.   13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify (stop) the deeds of the body, ye shall live.   14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   As we read the New Testament Bible, we know the will of God vs. the will of the flesh.   Also we are greatly helped by the Holy Spirit who reminds us of everything that is the will of God.  (I Corinthians 2)   ***   At the judgment seat of Christ:   II Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.   We will be judged by the WORD of God at the judgment seat of Christ, whether or not our actions on this earth agree with that WORD.   The sins we commit before we are born again are paid for by the blood of Jesus.   But to continue willfully in sins after the knowledge of the truth is to crucify Jesus a second time which cannot be done.   Hebrews 10   24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:   25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.   26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.   28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:   29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?   II Peter 2   20  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.   21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.   22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.   So we exhort one another:  urge earnestly with advice and warning   It is an extremely bad situation after we have received the knowledge of the truth to turn from that truth and return to our previous way of life of sins of the flesh.   So we pray when tempted and we keep scriptures before us to help us to overcome.   Jesus says:   Revelation 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.   Matthew 24:12-13  Jesus says, concerning the last days:  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   Mark 8:36   For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 30, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The way to go on this earth is the way of Jesus, The Word.   The gates of hell will not prevail against that Word revealed to us by God concerning the matter at hand.   John 10   Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I (The Word) am the door of the sheep.   8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.   9 I (The Word) am the door: by ME (The Word)  if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.   10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (The Word) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   27  My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow me:   28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.   (No man or thing can take us out of HIS hand.)   29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man (none) is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.   30 I and my Father are one.   We know the voice of God, of Jesus The Word.   We follow HIM and not strange voices of this world's thinking and of devils.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 26, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    We cannot live in peace while tying to live with those who say they are Christians when they will not do scripture and they are not led by the Spirit of God.  For we try to share truth from God with them and they argue with us ... or they go dead and say nothing, just waiting for us to stop talking so they can talk about this world and things they enjoy.   God has a way of escape for us and we must take that way of escape in order to live in peace.   Titus 3:9-11  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.    After we try to share scripture once or twice, and we see them fail to rejoice in that scripture, then we have to just stop trying to share with them and we walk away and keep ourselves from being entangled again with them.   And avoid those who want to strive with us about our doctrine.  For to enter into this is very destructive.   We think we can cause them to understand, but we can't, when they have already rejected the doctrine which we carried to them.  To try to keep teaching them will pull us down with them.  So learn to do Titus 3:10-11  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.   (No entanglements by phone calls, or Birthday cards, or things of the flesh of man to draw them into fleshly relationships.  Just leave them alone.  If they come to God, then they will come to us.)   There is only one Spirit ... so if we both have that Holy Spirit we will agree.  For if there is disagreement, God will cause us to agree.  We don't discuss it to agree.  We have God in us to explain scripture to us and we will be brought to agreement by the Spirit of God when we are both of God.   But we will never come to agreement otherwise.  If one person has the Spirit of God in him and the other person does not have the Spirit of God but is trying to come to God by joining a church and by doing church doctrine, we can't agree about scripture and things of God.   For Paul shows us the following:   I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 23, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   In the last days, God will cause the powers of heaven to be shaken and the earth shall move "out of her place" in the solar system.   Several years ago, God gave me a dream about this:  The earth slipped and moved on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men were meeting with the scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this.  A TV newsman was telling the story and he was so frightened he just stopped in the middle of his report and got up and walked out of the studio.  He knew this was going to affect him too.   The Old Testament prophet, Isaiah, told of this in the following scripture:   Isaiah 13:13  God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.   Since the beginning of creation, God has kept the earth in place in the solar system as we know it to be.  By HIS Word God created the heaven and the earth.  And this creation was perfect for sustaining life.   In the end of this world, it will all be changed by God and man will find there is nothing he can do to stop this from happening, though he will try to stop it.   Jesus described it as follows:   Matthew 24:29-31   Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   Everything we can see with our natural eye will either be removed from this present earth or destroyed.   And every human will then appear to be judged by the Word of God and will receive for that which he has done in his lifetime whether good or bad.  (II Cor. 5:10)   Since we will be judged by The Word, we want to conform our lives to The Word, doing that which we see to do by the instruction given in the New Testament Bible.   So the apostle Paul tells us the following:   Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   *****   We must conform our own minds to the Word of God, being in agreement with the Holy Bible for it is by the Word we will be judged.   So we conform our thinking to that which God says about the subject.   - Divorce/remarriage - Homosexual/lesbians - Various types of sins of the flesh:  adultery, fornication, idolatry, superstitions of men, hate, variance, emulations, and other works of the flesh, for the apostle Paul tells us:  "They which do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."  (Galatians 5:21)   We must agree with God and change our way of thinking and change our way of living while we are on this present earth, considering the New Testament Bible in all things as the rule for the way to live while we are alive on this earth.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 3, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    God speaks to us and we hear what He says and accept what He says and are born again, changed by God into a new creature, given the Spirit of God to live in us.    From that time forward, God leads us by the Spirit of God bringing thoughts and concepts to our mind.  And we find then we want to know about God.  We are interested in things of God after we are born again.  And we are then led by God, by HIS Spirit.   Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.    John 10:27-30  Jesus says: My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME.  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of MY hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand.  I and MY Father are one.    The Holy Spirit of Jesus lives in us.  The Holy Spirit teaches us and guides us.  And the Holy Spirit shows us which way to go as we deal with this present life.   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   The Holy Spirit teaches us and guides us by bringing thoughts, concepts, scriptures to our minds.   We will be thinking of doing something and when this is not the best thing for us to do, often the Holy  Spirit will bring us a thought showing us another way to go.   Examples:    * A man in our church group came into his back yard and was looking at his storage shed which was filled with his "stuff".  He was thinking about adding another building to hold his stuff.  The Holy Spirit brought this to his mind:  "Why don't you just get rid of the stuff?"   * My house in Texas had gas logs in a fireplace.  I hardly ever turned them on.  One day I was driving down the road and a pickup carrying fireplace wood was driving along side of me.  I looked at the wood and thought, "I'd like to have a wood burning fireplace."  The Holy Spirit brought the following to my mind as a thought:  "You can have that."  Up to that point, I'd never considered changing to wood.  I did this the same day for I knew it was the Holy Spirit speaking.   I find the ideas from God to be easy to accomplish, not complex, financially feasible.     James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.    *****   The thoughts that come from the Holy Spirit are usually in a very gentle voice.    Sometimes I miss the thought at first and the Holy Spirit repeats it, bringing it again to my mind.   I know the voice of God so when HE speaks I recognize HIS voice by the characteristics of James 3:17.   The devil also brings thoughts to our minds but the devil is trying to harm us.  His thoughts are often very negative.  He tries to drive us to do something.  Often fear is involved.  Ideas from devils are often complex and expensive.   John 10:10  Jesus says:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   The Holy Spirit is gentle and guides us and leads us rather than driving us.   The sheep do not follow devils but will flee from devils, says Jesus.   (John 10:4-5  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.   The Word does bring division.  For that person who understands the word will be divided from that person who has joined a church but does not understand the Word of God.   Therefore when a religious person does not have the Spirit of God, he will fail to see the miracle and pick away at the letter of the law, which he has misinterpreted.   Religious people often strain at gnats while swallowing camels.   The church are those individuals who have the Spirit of God in them and who are led by the Spirit of God.   Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   Paul explains:  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (I Corinthians 2:14)  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 27, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Jesus tells us to lay up treasure in heaven, not on this present earth.  (Matthew 6:19-20)   As we rejoice in the WORD, we keep our minds stayed on the WORD.  The WORD is our treasure and it is treasure on this earth as we live here and it will be stored up for us also in heaven.   So what WORD is our treasure now?   * THE WORD came to this earth in the form of a man, Jesus, to die for us to pay for our sins with HIS blood.   The people of this world try to save themselves by their own works.   But we are saved by THE WORD, by HIS works.   As we live in the Word, we abide in HIM.   *  I'm also grateful that God did not leave us alone on this earth.  God and Jesus are with each of us constantly to teach us and guide us and even show us things to come.  We are not alone.  Jesus is in us and with us at all times by HIS Spirit.   II Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?   I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?   I Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   And the Holy Spirit of Jesus who is in us does the following things for us:   John 14:26  Jesus said ...  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.   So we are never alone at any time on this earth.  Jesus dwells in us by HIS Spirit to guide us and teach us.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.  As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   Blink!  That is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies before we are taken into heaven.   Then Paul tells about Jesus raising those who have died.    I Thessalonians 4   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   Jesus takes us to the new heavens and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  For the great tribulation will come upon this present earth and after that this heaven and earth will be destroyed by God by fire. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:   43  It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:   44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.   49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   (Blink.  That is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies.)   53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   ***   After the great tribulation, God destroys this present heaven and earth.   II Peter 3   Peter says:   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   ***   Philippians 4   6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 19, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Matthew 24   1  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.   2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.   (At the end of this world, everything we can see with our natural eye will be destroyed by God.  II Peter 3:10-14)   3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?   4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.   Jesus went on to tell them many other things that would happen at the end of this world, but the first sign to look for is people would come saying Jesus is the Christ and because they say Jesus is the Lord, they would deceive many into thinking they were really of God when they did not have the Spirit.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 16, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    In the last days, men will doubt God because they think everything from the beginning of time has continued as always so why should they believe it will change.   The apostle Peter calls these men "scoffers".   II Peter 3:    Peter says:   1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:  2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:   3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,   4 And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep (died), all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.   5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:   6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:   7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.   8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.   9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   And prior to the destruction of this earth, will come the great tribulation of God, the 14 plagues of God as judgment upon the wickedness on this present earth.  (see Revelation 8-16)  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 15, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Jesus, the Word, is the way to God.  There is no other way or plan of man or doctrine other than that doctrine of Jesus Christ.   Your church doctrine is often different from the Word of the New Testament Bible.    Your church doctrine might be based on the tradition of men.  It will not take you to God.    You can't go to God through Buddha or through Mohammad.  It is only by Jesus, THE WORD, we come to God.   When we believe on The Word given to us by God and act on that word, are we followers of God.   Church attendance and good works will not take us to God the Father.    Only by Jesus, The Word, can we come to God.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 14, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The Word from God is the way.  That Word brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit leads us to life and not to destruction.   Proverbs 16:25  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.   But that Word given you by God is life.  Focus on that Word.  Keep that Word before you day and night.  Do that Word.   Proverbs 4:20-22  My son, attend to MY words; incline thine ear unto MY sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.   John 1:1-5  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.   14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.   THE WORD was made flesh.  THE WORD came to earth in the form of a man named Jesus.   Hebrews 1:1-2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds;    

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 13, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The Holy Spirit brings to our mind scriptures and concepts to show us the will of God and the way we are to go in this present life.   We live in peace on this earth, by doing that which is brought to our mind by the Spirit of God.   And we are cleansed by The Word when the Holy Spirit brings to our mind information and we make changes to our lives and go in the way of That Word.   Jesus says:  John 14:1-5  I (the Word) am the true vine, and MY Father is the husbandman.  Every branch in ME that beareth not fruit HE taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, HE purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.   3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.    (When we do That Word, we go in a way of godliness.)   4 Abide in ME (live in MY word), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in ME.   5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in ME, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without ME ye can do nothing.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 10, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.   In WWII people committed many types of Biblical sins: adultery, fornication, drunkenness, homosexual, lesbian, and such, but they did these sins in secret.   To declare your sins openly without shame as we see today, is as the sin in Sodom for which God destroyed Sodom.   In Genesis 19:13, the angel discloses the following:  "For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it."   When their sins reach into heaven, God is aroused and takes action, judging those people who bring their sins to HIS attention.   Thus we see how God's judgment is hanging upon this present world where there is no shame for sin.   Time in the sight of God is described as follows: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (II Timothy 3:8)   The judgment of God is coming upon this world in the form of the great tribulation, the 14 plagues.   After that this present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God by fire.  (II Peter 3:10)   The righteous ones of God will be removed from this present earth and taken in their new spiritual bodies to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  (Revelation 21:1-5)   We will not have these earthly bodies in heaven.  (I Corinthians 15:49-52)  We will have spiritual bodies in heaven which are not subject to decay, pain, emotions.  We will be as the angels of God in heaven.    We live in a time where the sins are as the sins of Sodom, they are not hidden.  This is a prelude to the wrath of God that is coming upon this present world.   *****  Matthew 11:20   Then began HE (Jesus) to upbraid the cities wherein most of His mighty works were done, because they repented not:   Matthew 21:32   For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.   Revelation 9:20   And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:   Revelation 16:9  And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.   Revelation 16:11  And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. *** The terrible thing today is their lack of shame over that which they are doing.   So many women show no shame over becoming pregnant outside of marriage.   Homosexuals and lesbians often flaunt their sins before our eyes with no shame and no recognition at all that what they are doing is a sin in the sight of God.   Drunkards seek pity and often attribute their drunkenness to a medical problem instead of sin.   But the Bible shows us that drunkenness is sin:    I Corinthians 6   9  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexual), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,   10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   Galatians 5:19-21   19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,   21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   ***   II Timothy 3   1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,   3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,   4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;   5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.   ***   The wrath of God judges the disobedient at the coming great tribulation:   Romans 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;   Ephesians 6:5   Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.   Revelation 14:10   The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:   Revelation 16:1   And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.   The 14 plagues of the wrath of God will be poured out upon this earth during the great tribulation and after that this present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God with fire.  (II Peter 3:10-14)   This is coming.

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 30, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   In heaven, we will not have these current physical bodies.  God will give us a new body as it pleases HIM.  (I Corinthians 15)   In heaven:  there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  (Revelation 21:4)   The reason we have physical pain today is because we live inside these physical bodies.  Also we have emotions of the flesh because we live today inside these physical bodies.   Before we are taken into heaven, we will be changed out of these physical bodies.   I Corinthians 15:51-52   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   Blink!  That is how fast we will be changed before we are taken into heaven.   Another thing about heaven:  We will not remember this earth.   Isaiah 65:17   For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.   We will have new spiritual bodies and our family in heaven will be all in heaven for all who are in heaven will be the children of God, the righteous of God.   God and the Word (Jesus) will be our focus and our light.   *****   The new Jerusalem, the new heaven:   Revelation 21   1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   ***   This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God after the great tribulation:   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.   ***   There is no physical marriage as we know it today, in heaven.   So if a man has multiple wives, which will be his wife?  said the Sadducees to Jesus.   Mark 12:24-25   Jesus says:   Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?   25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.   (I find many Christians do not know the above truth.)    On this present earth, if your mate dies, you can marry again (but only in the Lord).  I Corinthians 7 ... Paul says this to the women but I think the same would apply to a man who is a Christian, for why would any real Christian want to marry an infidel?   ***   Remember in heaven we will not have these physical bodies as on earth.    

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 11, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   This world stumbles about in the darkness of the wisdom of their minds and in the way of men of this world.    We have a light of wisdom from God which the world can't even imagine.   John 8:12   Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth ME (the Word) shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.   We are led by the wisdom that is from God and that gives clarity to us in times of trouble.  God not only shows us what to do but how to do that which HE authors for us.   In 1980, I was asleep in the night when a very loud trumpet like voice spoke 3 words to me:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"   When I looked it up, I found KWJS to be a radio station.   I said to God, "Are YOU telling me to go on radio?  I wouldn't know how to do that."   So the Holy Spirit brought the following information to my mind which would show me how to do "that".   In the form of a thought, I heard, "Call the radio station manager."   That same morning I called station KWJS and asked to speak to the manager.  He came on the phone immediately.  I said, "God might be showing me to go on radio.  How would you do that?"   The station manager said, "Make an audition tape 29 1/2 minutes long and send it to me and if you fit our broadcasting, we will offer you a contract."   I made a tape that same morning and sent it to the radio station manager.    Within 5 days I was broadcasting exhortations for the church on radio KWJS.   When we hear a Word from God, we have a sure thing and we can go forward with assurance that we are walking in the will of God doing that which God wants us to do.  That Word given us by God is our light.   Proverbs 4:18-19  But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.   The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 1, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Before the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, HE told us some things to expect to see upon this earth before the second coming of Jesus and the great tribulation and the end of this world.   Jesus said:    Matthew 24:6-8   And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.   7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.   8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.   Wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes ... which we have seen for centuries.   Two other things which must happen before Jesus returns:   II Thessalonians 2:3-4   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   In 1982, God said to me:  The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures.  (This we have seen for many generations as various denominations are set up by men and doctrines other than those in New Testament Bible become a part of their church groups.)   Matthew 24:14  Jesus says:   And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.   (Hasn't Internet been a very big factor in fulfilling this with both blogs and podcasts?)   I believe we have seen all these things happen.   No one knows exactly when Jesus will returns and the great tribulation will come, but we are told to "be ready".   Most of the people of this world are oblivious to these things that are approaching, but we, the church, know these things are coming and many of us think they are coming soon, perhaps in our own lifetimes.   *****   Luke 21    Jesus says:   25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.    27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.   33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.   34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.   35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   ***   I believe the surest thing to watch for are the signs in the sky:   When the sun goes dark in the day we can know the great tribulation is upon us!     ***   So far as the people of this world, Jesus explains:   Luke 17   26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.   27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.   28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;   29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.   30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 22 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The apostle Paul speaks of "revelations" from God in the following scripture:   I Corinthians 14:26   How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.   In a "revelation", God opens our eyes to see something.   The first time this happened to me was over the following scripture.   Matthew 24   3 And as HE (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?   4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.   God explained it this way to me:  Many would come saying I (Jesus) am Christ and because they say "Jesus is Lord" , Christians will listen to them and they will be able to deceive many.   The first time I read this, I thought they were going to say they themselves were Christ.  But if they did that, they would not be accepted in the church by most of the church.  The other way, they will be able to deceive "many".   ***   Another revelation from the Spirit of God:   This God explained to me in 1982 when I was reading the Bible.   II Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.   God said to me:  "It is not that people will fall away from the churches but rather the churches will fall away from scripture"   ***   Then in approximately 2017, God explained the following:    II Thessalonians 2:6-7  NASB   And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE who now restrains will do so until HE (The Word) is taken out of the way.   The concept God gave me is this:  That which "restrained" antichrist, keeping antichrist out of the churches, was the scripture.  When they fell away from scriptures, the door was opened for antichrist to move into the churches.    The WORD, Jesus was the restraint against antichrist.   ***   As a new Christian, God showed me the following:   Matthew 16   13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, HE asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?    14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.   15 HE saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?   16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.   17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.    18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.   God explained this to me:  Peter was blessed because it was God who revealed Jesus to him.  And the rock is that word revealed by God.  The gates of hell will not stand against that which God reveals to us.   ***   From the beginning of my time as being a Christian, God has shown Jesus to me as The Word.   The Word is Jesus and Jesus is The Word.   When I read Bible, "The Lord" is The Word.   Psalm 23    1 The LORD (The Word) is my shepherd; I shall not want.   2 He (The Word) maketh me to lie down in green pastures: HE (The Word) leadeth me beside the still waters.   (HE, The Word, causes me to go in the right direction.  HE, The Word, leads me into the proper place. All I have to do is follow that which HE, The Word, tells me to do.)   3 HE (The Word) restoreth my soul: HE (The Word) leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.   (His name's sake means:  for the sake of The Word, HIS name.)   ***   Several years ago, as I was enroute to Albuquerque, New Mexico, just as the plane landed I heard from God, "Be baptized."   My cousin, Church of Christ, picked me up at the airport.  I said to her, "Jeanne, if you can arrange it, I will be baptized this afternoon before I return to Dallas."   She was shocked, and said, "But you've already been baptized."   I replied, "But I wasn't born again then.  Now I am born again."   (I don't think she understood what I was saying.)   Several of my relatives had gathered at the church building that afternoon.  The minister asked if I would like to say something.     I replied,  "I guess so."  and I just started telling how I was born again now and what it meant to be born again.    I noticed my uncle was crying.  One cousin shook her head up and down, agreeing with that which I said.   As the minister lowered me into the water, The Holy Spirit said to me, "This is like being buried with Christ."   As I came out of the water, The Holy Spirit said, "This is like being raised with Christ."   Romans 6   3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?   4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.   5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection:   6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him (The Word), that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.   (Our flesh is crucified by the Word and we follow the Word instead of following the desires of the flesh so now we do not serve our flesh but we serve God by doing that which is authored by God by HIS Spirit.)   7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.   8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him:   9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.   10 For in that HE died, HE died unto sin once: but in that HE liveth, HE liveth unto God.   11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord (The Word).   After being baptized, I returned to the church auditorium.  My uncle who had been crying came to me and said, "Can you write out that which you said and send it to me.  I've never heard anything like that before?"   I said to him, "I guess I can."  (I did write it out after I returned to Dallas and mailed it to my uncle.)   Later I realized, my uncle was born again as I spoke that day before I was baptized.   I had no idea at all, at that time, that I was called to be a minister.  I owned a small business in Dallas at that time.   Notice this:  When I heard, "Be baptized",  that day as my plane was landing, I made immediate plans to be baptized that same day.  I believe God wanted me to do what HE said at the time HE said it.  So I did.  I still do that.  When I believe God has told me to do something, I do that thing as soon as possible.   If we hesitate, I believe we give the devil more time to cause us to reason away That Word spoken by God.   Also, in this situation, being baptized that day that I was in Albuquerque, gave opportunity for me to speak the gospel, and for my uncle to hear that gospel and be saved!   My best friend in Dallas was upset that I was baptized while I was in Albuquerque for she had planned for me to be baptized in Dallas.   But when I told her what happened, she rejoiced!   ***   One day, I heard, by the Holy Spirit, the following words:  "In the air."   That is in a scripture:   I Thessalonians 4   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   We will all be changed in the blink of an eye and we will arise in our new heavenly bodies to meet Jesus in the air.  (I Corinthians 15)   This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God by fire.   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? By these fleshly bodies comes pain.  God will give us a new "spiritual body" in which to live.  I Cor. 15)  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 7, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   It sounds insane and impossible to take no thought for our lives.  Yet that is what Jesus said to do.  Jesus said, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."  (Matthew 6:33)   We, who belong to God, seek the kingdom of God by praying, asking God to show us what to do.  We also read the New Testament Bible and ask God for wisdom concerning that which we read.  And we learn to follow the Spirit of God who shows us the will of God and the way to go in all matters that pertain to this present life.   Matthew 11:28-30   Jesus says:  Come unto ME (The Word), all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME (The Word); for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your soul.  For MY yoke is easy and MY burden is light.   Yoking yourself to the word of God changes everything.   *****   Matthew 6  Jesus says:   19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:   20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:   (Meditate on scripture and do Word of God and let scripture be your delight and it will be your treasure.)   21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.   24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.   25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?   26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?   27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?   28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:   29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.   30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall HE not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?   31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?   32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.   33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.   34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 29, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    During the Coronavirus in 2020, we, in USA,  were shut up in our homes for 3 months and we barely survived.    One plague of the great tribulation is five months and there are 14 plagues.  The endurance will be incredible during the great tribulation.   The elect of God will barely survive.   Jesus said:    Matthew 24   21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.   22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.   By this, we know some of the elect will go through the days of the great tribulation and those plagues that God is sending upon this earth.   Also in one plague we see this:   Revelation 9   3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.   4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.   By this we see some who have "the seal of God" in their foreheads will be living on this earth during the plagues that are coming.   If any of us happen to be one of those, we will have to be able to endure the plagues.   How to endure between now and then?   Some church goers don't seem to understand Jesus is "The Word."   *****   Prayer to God:   Luke 21:36   Jesus says:  Watch ye therefore, and pray always ...  that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   Watch what you are doing daily ... Pray over all things that concern you or trouble you ... Pray over all that you are considering doing on this earth ... Allow God to establish your thoughts.   As we watch and pray, we are put in a position whereby we are accounted worthy to escape all these things that are coming upon this earth, the great tribulation ... and we stand before the Son of Man.   *** Watch what you are doing daily.  Conform to the instruction of that scripture which God calls to your attention.  Meditate in the Word of God.  Do the Word of God.  Continue doing the Word of God.   John 15   Jesus says:   1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.   2 Every branch in ME that beareth not fruit HE (God) taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, HE (God) purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.   (If we fail to bear fruit, we are removed by God.)   3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.   (God speaks to us by HIS Spirit.  HE causes the word which we need to follow at that specific time to stand out to us.  Usually it is a scripture.  We meditate on that Word and do that Word.)   4 Abide in ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in ME.   (We must live daily in that Word for the Word is Jesus.)   5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without ME ye can do nothing.   We live in those scriptures brought to us by the Holy Spirit of God.  Meditate on them day and night.  Do those scriptures.  Continue doing those scriptures.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 23, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The apostle Paul warned us:  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (II Tim. 3)   It is not like the peril of WWII, which was obvious to us.  We have another type of peril which could even cause a person to lose his own salvation.   Jesus said: And take heed to yourselves,  (Lk. 21:34)   Mt. 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   What do you do first thing in the mornings?  What do you do just before going to sleep at night?   Only you can examine that question.   Many people like to turn on TV and watch news shows to start their day.  Some like to get their morning newspaper and entertain themselves.   What do you do?    For by this you can see the pattern of life that you are following.   Do you feed your own flesh?  or the Spirit and your soul?   It may seem inconsequential, but it is actually life threatening, for now and forever.   On this Podcast, I discuss some of those poisonous things that cause us to depart from the way of God and cause us to fall asleep with those who are dead as we live in this present time.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 18, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    One day, the Holy Spirit said to me, "In the air."   I recalled that is in a scripture.  When I looked it up I found it in the following:   I Thessalonians 4   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   It is not that Jesus brings the dead in Christ to this present earth.  But rather Jesus raises the dead in Christ and gathers them to Himself "in the air."   Some will still be alive on this earth at that time.  After the dead in Christ are raised, then Jesus will cause those who are alive on this earth to leave these physical bodies and be gathered to HIM "in the air."   For there is a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  (II Peter 3)   All who belong to God will be taken to this new heaven and new earth. (Rev. 21), And this current heaven and earth will be destroyed by God in the fire.  (II Peter 3)  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on October 4, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Focus on what the New Testament Bible says concerning the matter at hand.  We renew our minds to the Bible rather than considering that which people say about the subject.     The Bible is truth from God.    Concerning sexual intercourse:  At the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh.   Paul warns the men of his time:  I Corinthians 6   Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.  16  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.  17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.   18  Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.   Notice that Paul says sexual sins are unlike all other sins.  Verse 18:  Sexual sins are sins against your own body.   In I Corinthians 6, the apostle Paul also warns about other sins:  And Paul says they that do such sins will not inherit the kingdom of God.    9  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?  Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   Christians are baptized unto the death of Christ that they might walk in newness of life serving God.  (Romans 6)   God gives each of us HIS own spirit to show us what to do on this present earth.  (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   And we have the New Testament Bible to confirm to us rules of God and the will of God.   II Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.   So we renew our minds to the scriptures, seeing the will of God for us.  We establish our way by scripture, building our house on that which God says as we walk on this present earth.   Here are more things shared in this Podcast which enable us to renew our mind of that which God says.   *****   Divorce/remarriage:   I Corinthians 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.   Romans 7:1-3   Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  3  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.   Matthew 5:32   But I say unto you (says Jesus), That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.   Matthew 19:9   And I  (Jesus) say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.   * If a faithful wife is divorced by her husband, she will commit adultery if she remarries. (Mt. 5:32)   * The husband who divorced the faithful wife will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries.  (Mt. 5:32)   * The man who divorces a faithful wife and marries another woman commits adultery.  (Mt. 19:9)   * The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.  (Mt. 5:32 & Mt. 19:9)   Mark 10   6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;  8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9  What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.   11-12   And HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.  And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.   Several years ago, a woman contacted me wanting to talk to me about her mother's second marriage.  God said to me:  "Don't focus on the circumstances of the second marriage.  Just focus on that which the Bible says."   ***   Concerning homosexuals & lesbians:   Romans 1   18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;   19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.   20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:   21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.   22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,   23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.   24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:   25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.   26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:   27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;   When they say they were just born that way, here is what the Spirit of God says:   Mark 10:6  But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.    ***   Concerning money:   I Timothy 6   5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.   6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.   7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.   8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.   9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.   10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.   11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.   12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.   17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;   18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;   19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.   ***   Walk in the Spirit:   Romans 8   1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.   The flesh will desire to do the works of the flesh which are:  Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  (Galatians 5:19-21)   Galatians 5:16   This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.   The Spirit of God lives in us and HE will reminds us of ways to go when we are tempted.  If we walk in the Spirit, we follow what HE says.  If we turn from HIS instructions and follow the desire of our own flesh, we place ourselves in danger of being turned over to a reprobate mind by God.   We crucify our flesh by walking in the way of the Spirit.  Our flesh will suffer when it does not get its way but our soul is spared when we choose to go in the way of the Spirit.   Romans 8   5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.   6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.   11  But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.   12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.   13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify (stop) the deeds of the body, ye shall live.   14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.   As we read the New Testament Bible, we know the will of God vs. the will of the flesh.   Also we are greatly helped by the Holy Spirit who reminds us of everything that is the will of God.  (I Corinthians 2)   ***   At the judgment seat of Christ:   II Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.   We will be judged by the WORD of God at the judgment seat of Christ, whether or not our actions on this earth agree with that WORD.   The sins we commit before we are born again are paid for by the blood of Jesus.   But to continue willfully in sins after the knowledge of the truth is to crucify Jesus a second time which cannot be done.   Hebrews 10   24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:   25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.   26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.   28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:   29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?   II Peter 2   20  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.   21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.   22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.   So we exhort one another:  urge earnestly with advice and warning   It is an extremely bad situation after we have received the knowledge of the truth to turn from that truth and return to our previous way of life of sins of the flesh.   So we pray when tempted and we keep scriptures before us to help us to overcome.   Jesus says:   Revelation 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.   Matthew 24:12-13  Jesus says, concerning the last days:  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.   Mark 8:36   For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 19, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    When the sun goes completely dark in the middle of the day ... we will know Jesus is on His way   The following will happen on this earth:  The powers of heaven shall be shaken.    Jesus describes it as follows:   Matthew 24    29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   At the end, the powers of heaven shall be shaken:   In the 1980's, I had a dream where the earth slipped on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men were meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done.  A television newscaster was trying to give a report on TV, but he became so frightened that he could not speak so he just got up in the middle of the broadcast and walked off the stage.   Nothing could be done about this event and it affected everyone on this present earth.   A woman in our church group reported to us this dream:  She and her husband were going out to buy a new TV.  She was at the car waiting for her husband.  All of a sudden the sky went totally black.  She was terrified.  She started to run back into the house but instead she just fell down on her knees.   ***   Jesus says:   Matthew 24:35   Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.   While land seems very important, it, too will pass away, as God destroys this present earth with fire.   II Peter 3:10   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   The only thing that will not pass away is the Word of God.   ***   Luke 21   25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.   27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.   33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.   34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.   35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.   ***   Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on September 20, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Are you playing around with temptation?    We must not do that.  It can be deadly.   Proverbs 6   23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:   24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.   25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.   26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.   27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?   32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.   The apostle Paul explains:  At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh, even if you are having sex with a prostitute.    I Corinthians  6:16, 18   16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.   18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.   *****   Romans 13:14   But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ (The Word), and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.   Keep before you day and night what God says in HIS Word concerning the area of temptation.   I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.   Take God's way of escape.   Proverbs 4   3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:   4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.   5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.   8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:   15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.   16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.   17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.   18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. ***   Proverbs 7   4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:   5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.   6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,   7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,   8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,   9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:   10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.   11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:   12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)   13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,   14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.   15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.   16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.   17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.   18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.   19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:   20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.   21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.   22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;   23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.   24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.   25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.   26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.   27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.   ***   I Corinthians 7   1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.   2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.   3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.   4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.   5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put HIM to an open shame.   I Corinthians 5   1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.   2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.   3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,   4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.   11  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
