For there is an elect of God which will be taken by Jesus into heaven when Jesus returns to gather the elect of God from off this earth. Matthew 24:31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

HE just brings truth to my mind and opens my eyes to see truth. Mostly I do realize that which was spoken was not coming from me but from God. I think it might help you to re-read those times God spoke to Pam Padgett. God might use these examples to show you HE has been speaking to you but you failed to recognize it was God. (We recently re-published that Podcast on July 16, 2026.) On this Podcast we are going to focus on that which God has spoken to you. Consider this question: What has God spoken to you? Again I encourage you to sit down and make a list of those Words which you believe to have been spoken to you by God. For when we are children of God, God speaks to us, HIS children. Just ask God to bring to your mind those things HE has said to you. After you list things you believe God spoke to you, we would enjoy it very much if you shared those things with us. If you would send an email we could put these in with other words spoken to other people of God and that would edify the body of Christ. Send these by email to: jesusministries@comcast.net

(Much prayer and help is needed from God in this matter if you are a parent.) Isaac was the child of the promise of God. Abraham knew it would be bad if Isaac married one of the daughters of Cannan. So Abraham instructed his servant and sent his servant to bring from his people a wife for Isaac.

I wanted you to see how God speaks to Pam for this is a very good example for you to know that God speaks to all of those who are the elect of God, not just to HIS chosen ministers.

I suggest that you list some of those Words that God has spoken to you. For if you are born again, God will communicate with you by HIS Spirit. I will give you examples of words God has sent to me at various times in my life. There are far too many times God has spoken to me for me to list all of those Words, but I will share with you some of those Words which God has spoken to me during my life.

Genesis 18 1 And the LORD appeared unto him (to Abraham) in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; (God appeared to Abraham in the form of 3 angels who appeared before him.) 9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. 10 And HE said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. (Sarah laughed.) 13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. 15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And HE said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Genesis 1 First God created everything the man and woman would need: The heaven and earth, plants, animals, fish and fowl, trees for fruit. Then God created man. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in HIS own image, in the image of God created HE him; male and female created HE them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 31 And God saw every thing that HE had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 2 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 21-22 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and HE took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made HE a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Noah was a righteous man and therefore God did not destroy Noah in the waters of the flood but God made a way of escape for Noah. (the ark) God also raised up another righteous man unto HIMSELF, Abraham. (Genesis 12) God spoke to Abram and told him to depart from his father's house and Abram departed. Abram departed as the Lord had told him but he didn't know where he was going. He just departed from his father's land. Genesis 12 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (For 25 years, God told Abram that great nations would come from his seed. But Sarai, Abram's wife was barren. In spite of the circumstances, Abram believed God and it was counted by God as righteousness because Abram believed God. He refused to believe that which he saw with his natural eyes. Abram clung to the Word of God.) 5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. 6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. 7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. Abram had no seed. Abram had no children and his wife Sarai was barren. Abram was 75 when he departed as God had told him to do and Abram was going to wait another 25 years before God gave him "that promised seed." 8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. 9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. 10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

Noah was a righteous man, so when God destroyed this present earth by waters covering the earth, God made a way to save the life of Noah and His generations. God later raised up another righteous man: Abram, renamed Abraham by God. Genesis 12 (God speaks to Abram) 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; Keeping the Word spoken by God before us is the only thing that matters. As we do that, we follow God. In the coming Podcasts and writings, we will focus on what God said.

Genesis 9 1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made HE man.

As a new Christian in 1975, my young friend and I began looking for the scripture where it says all men are created equal. We couldn't find that in the Bible. So we went to a man who was a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and asked him where this is in the Bible. He said: "That statement is not in the Bible." We were shocked! (Seems that I have heard this statement all my life.)

It rained on the earth 40 days and 40 nights and all flesh died except for Noah and those in the ark with him. After the flood, God dried the land from the waters and brought Noah and all living creatures out of the ark, and God made a covenant with Noah. Genesis 8 20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in HIS heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 9 12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between ME and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. (God's bow: the rainbow) 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember MY covenant, which is between ME and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

In the following scripture, the sabbath for the New Testament church is described. Hebrews 4 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into HIS rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as HE said, As I have sworn in MY wrath, if they shall enter into MY rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For HE spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all HIS works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into MY rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, HE limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would HE not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into HIS rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from HIS.
(This podcast was previously published on August 14, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Man, who is born of the flesh, does the works of the flesh. The flesh never improves. By the Holy Spirit we can control the flesh. But the flesh is always trying to rise up in us and take over. This is the reason we see so much sin, corruption, violence, and hatred in the acts of humans today. The flesh is ruling in those persons who do evil works. Galatians 5 21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft (living in superstitions), hatred, variance (arguing), emulations (trying to outdo others), wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. We who are born again, born of the Spirit of God, have the Spirit of God in us so we can choose those things brought to our attention by the Spirit of God and overcome our own flesh, not doing the works of the flesh but choosing to do those things shown to us by the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We control our own flesh by refusing to do that which our flesh wants to do and instead we do that which the Holy Spirit shows us to do in the matter at hand.

Jesus is telling us in Luke 17, that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of Jesus when HE raises the dead in Christ and sends HIS angels to gather the elect of God from off this earth. What were the masses of people like in the days of Noah? As the people were in Noah's time, so shall they be in the end of this present world. Genesis 6 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIM at HIS heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth ME that I have made them. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted HIS way upon the earth.

Genesis 22:1-2 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And HE (God) said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. The child of the flesh, by the will of man, Ishmael was not recognized by God. Isaac was the child of the promise made by God to Abraham.

Genesis 3 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. (Now they knew sin. And they no longer wanted to be around anyone who might see their sin.) 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard THY voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And HE (God) said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom THOU gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Penalties come because of sin: 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman HE said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam HE said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
(This podcast was previously published on August 9, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The serpent came to Eve and presented a very twisted statement. Genesis 3 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Eve added to that which God said. God did not say, "Neither shall ye touch it.") The following is what God commanded to Adam: Genesis 2 15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. When a person adds to the Word of God, he weakens that Word of God. Because that person who does this knows he added something and therefore it becomes difficult for that person to believe the actual Word from God because he knows only part of what he said is actually the Word from God. We must be very careful in handling the Word of God. If we have the Word of God in writing, we must return to that which God said and be certain of that which God actually said, and we must look at the Word many times.
(This podcast was previously published on August 8, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Romans 5 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

(The naming of an animal gives you a type of dominance over that animal.) 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and HE took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made HE a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

God spoke The Word, and it was created. Everything that was created was created by HIM, by The Word, by Jesus: John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by HIM (The Word); and without HIM (The Word) was not any thing made that was made. Joshua 1 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. God says: 9 Have not I commanded thee? (Did God tell you to do this thing? That's all that matters.) Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Other verses in Joshua 1: (Which I have found valid today.) 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses MY servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. We overcome all people and all things through that Word which God gives us concerning the issue of this life.

(This podcast was previously published on July 16, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. We, the elect of God, endure by following that which is brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit. Remember the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and HE will: teach us all things, remind us of all that Jesus has said, guide us into all truth, and show us things to come. (John 14:26 & John 16:13) Also God will not fail us nor forsake us. (Joshua 1:5 & Hebrews 13:5) Jesus says: John 6 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst. 39-40 And this is the Father's will which hath sent ME, that of all which HE hath given ME I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of HIM that sent ME, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on HIM, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on ME hath everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: We eat the "bread" by believing the Word that is carried to us by the Spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit. We do this as long as God leaves us on this earth. The elect of God hear the voice of Jesus by HIS Spirit and we follow HIM and will not follow the voice of a stranger. John 10 John 10 Jesus says: 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 27 My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand. 29 My Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand. 30 I and MY Father are one. John 6 Jesus says: 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you. Every time God sends HIS Word to us and we eat and drink that Word, believing on that Word, we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood and have HIS life by HIS Word which was sent to us by God. They received manna and ate it and lived. But we receive Jesus by that Word that comes down to us from God and we eat that Word and live by HIM and life is in us each time we receive HIS Word ... I've always thought it is like receiving a blood transfusion. Jesus says: 54 Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For MY flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
(This podcast was previously published on May 3, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Jesus said: And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. (Matthew 10:36) So it is not unusual when you speak the Word from God to have a relative or the church people fight against that Word. In 1977, my cousin, Church of Christ member, once said to me, "Well ... I believe you are a Christian ... I just don't see how you can be one." She did not understand being born again. For the next 40-years, she fought me and tried to get me to quit the work I believe God gave me to do. In 2019, she waged her last battle against me. It was by exchange of letters for by this time she had gone totally deaf and could not hear by phone and the only communication I could have with her was by letter. (She didn't know how to do email so we sent US mail to each other.) She lived in another city from me, about 500 miles away. She was 97-years-old at that time. My prayer was that God would reveal to her before she died that I was of HIM and I was just trying to do that which HE told me to do. (Then she could be saved and go to the new heaven, new Jerusalem. But if she died fighting against me, that would be same as fighting against God.) On May 31, 2021, God gave me a dream showing me this cousin now knows I was doing HIS work and we were at peace with one another. I've always believed God could save a person at the time of that person's last breath on this earth. Just speak the truth and hold fast to the truth when speaking to another person. And quit worrying and have faith in God. If we pray according to the will of God, our prayer will be answered. I John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us: And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM.
(This podcast was previously published on May 9, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... God knows the future and HE leads us through this current "wilderness" by bringing to our mind ideas showing us what to do. Or sometimes God will plant in our heart the truth of the situation and by that truth we know what to do. Many things are coming upon this world because of the sins of the world and because of the sins of the apostate church groups who have fallen away from specific scriptures. But in all troubles, God helps the elect of God, those who are born again and given the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit is used by God in guiding the New Testament church. Each person who belongs to God has the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul tells us this: I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? And Jesus tells us what the Holy Spirit does for each of us. John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

In 1975, after I was born again, God began teaching me how to recognize ideas that are from God so I could go in the way of God on this present earth. One of the first things God taught me is this: Matthew 11:30 Jesus said: MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light. If something was overly expensive, I knew I did not have God's plan. If it was very difficult to do, I knew I did not have God's plan so I stopped and began praying again, asking God for HIS wisdom. Promise from the Bible: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Recognizing the wisdom that is from God: James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Examples of wisdom from God given in this Podcast:

The important thing for each of us is not so much "when" Jesus comes, the day and such, but that which is important for each human is staying ready for the coming of Jesus. God has clearly shown us the following: 2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. Luke 21:33-36 Jesus says: Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Larry McCall has been married to his high school sweetheart for more than 50 years and pastored the same church for over 40. He knows firsthand what it takes to enjoy a marriage that lasts. He's also seen the bad things that happen to marriages in the middle and later years. In his book A Seasoned Marriage, he walks couples through the seasons that can quietly undo a marriage: empty nests, adult kids moving back home, aging parents, and the slow drift from spouse to roommate. He and Arlene talk about why putting Christ at the center of marriage matters more than ever as the years go on, and how couples can become closer friends instead of growing apart. Welcome to Be Bold for Jesus MinistriesOur mission is to equip believers to live boldly for Christ with discernment, obedience, and unwavering trust in God—especially in seasons of fear, uncertainty, and shifting foundations. Led by Lee Arnold and Jaclyn Arnold, Be Bold for Jesus Ministries teaches God's Word with clarity and conviction, calling believers to stop placing confidence in the world and start living fully anchored in God's truth.Today's Message“What Is Your Egypt?”Lee Arnold LiveScripture: Jeremiah 46:1–28Jeremiah 46 shifts the focus beyond Judah and delivers a powerful message about Egypt—a nation that looked strong, secure, and unstoppable. From a human perspective, Egypt had everything: military power, wealth, influence, and stability. For Judah, Egypt seemed like the obvious solution in a time of crisis. But what looked like strength was already headed for collapse. This chapter reminds us that misplaced trust will always lead to disappointment. The very thing Judah believed could save them was the very thing God was about to judge. Egypt could not protect them—because Egypt itself was not secure.Jeremiah 46 isn't just about a nation—it's about the human tendency to run toward something other than God when fear rises. It confronts the question we all must answer: What are we really trusting?Key Takeaways• Anything we trust more than God will eventually fail• What looks strong in the world may already be under God's judgment• Fear often drives us to false sources of security• Earthly power cannot provide lasting protection• God alone is a faithful and unshakable refuge• Jesus is not a temporary solution—He is a faithful Savior who never leaves• Trusting the wrong thing can lead to spiritual collapse• God's promises remain, even when everything else falls apart• The safest place is not in worldly strength—but in God's presenceToday's ReminderJudah looked at Egypt and saw security.God looked at Egypt and saw weakness. They saw protection—God saw judgment. They saw a solution—God saw a problem. How often do we do the same? When life becomes uncertain, we run—to money, careers, relationships, influence, or control. Not because those things are inherently wrong—but because we begin to trust them more than God.Jeremiah 46 reminds us: every “Egypt” eventually falls. The job can disappear. The economy can shift. The relationship can fail. The plan can collapse. But God remains.Twice in this chapter, God speaks directly to His people:“Do not fear… for I am with you.”That is the promise—not that life will be easy, but that God will be faithful. So the question is simple—but deeply personal:What is your Egypt? What are you trusting more than God?Where do you run when fear takes hold? What do you believe will save you?Because Egypt promises security—but delivers disappointment.Jesus promises salvation—and delivers every time.Stay Connected• Sunday Sermons – Live on Zoom & Facebook• Wednesday Bible Study – He's The Solution Interactive Discussion• Daily Dose of Boldness – Daily encouragement from God's WordBe Bold for Jesus Conference 2026October 2–3, 2026Tickets & information at BB4J.comSupport the MissionHelp us continue sharing the Gospel and equipping believers to live boldly, wisely, and obediently for Christ.Give at bebold4jesus.org#BeBoldForJesus #Jeremiah46 #WhatIsYourEgypt #TrustGod #FaithOverFear #SpiritLed #Discernment #UnshakableFaith #BibleTeaching #SundaySermon
(This podcast was previously published on July 11, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... As the wickedness increases we know Jesus comes soon and the judgment of God and the complete destruction of the heaven and earth by God. On July 10, 2021, I was watching on NFL channel the replay of a football game from 2020. A commercial appeared on screen. It was obvious to me this commercial was extremely high level advertisement. Total black screen ... with one word at a time in white letters in the center of the screen. NFL ... is ... for ... (several words) then ... Gays ... Lesbians ... etc ... Who speaks what the Bible says? (Even most churches won't do this today.) The Bible says: Romans 1:26-27 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Somehow it was known that the person responsible for this explosion had setup another explosion for a specific day. We even knew the approximate time. I started to leave the building where I was working on the sixth floor before the second explosion was to take place, but just a few steps down the stairs I remembered my purse and that all my identification was in it. I ran to where my purse was and got it. Then I proceeded to leave, going down the stairs very quickly. I counted each floor as I passed by it descending down the stairs. Some people were standing along the stairs, talking. I could tell by their talk that they knew the explosion was supposed to be coming, but they seemed to feel no sense of urgency. I didn't stop to try to persuade them to get out right away. Instead, I went around them and continued getting to the first floor so I could leave the building. I got out of the building and continued quickly on my way to leave the area. At one point I was aware the explosion had happened. There was a wall of glass doors in the outside area where I was. I went through one of the doors to the other side, getting as far away from the destruction as I could. I kept walking as quickly as possible. At one point I saw a woman walking around with a dazed look. She was carrying a recording device. I heard her say she was interviewing people who had been hurt or raped during this event. I kept walking as quickly as possible toward the parking lot so I could leave. When I awoke from this dream, I heard, “Save yourself from this untoward generation” Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he (Peter) testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Untoward: inappropriate, offensive, perverse, willful, crooked
(This podcast was previously published on April 20, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Staying connected to God daily, second by second, as we live on this earth as we wait for the return of Jesus is critical to us. We must take every care to God in prayer when the problem arises. And we settle the matter with God in prayer. For we do not know the day or hour that Jesus returns and staying connected to God through prayer like this makes us worthy to escape that which is coming upon this world. Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Luke 21:33-36 Jesus says: 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away. It is that prayer that connects us to God in all the troubles and cares of this life and the connecting to God makes us accounted worthy to escape that which is coming upon this earth and causes us to stand before the Son of man. Philippians 2:12 Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. II Corinthians 5:10-11 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; Romans 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. You cannot live in peace with some people. You know who they are. You cannot appease devils. You have to come away from them. Matthew 13:44-46 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. You cannot be around them. When you are with them and a disturbing subject arises, take a Bible and read aloud that scripture brought to your mind by the Holy Spirit. You will get free one way or another. Either they will depart from you or they will believe the scripture and turn to God and be saved. You tell them. Don't just send them what I write. You tell them. They will just throw away what I say to them. They already think I am your problem. We both know that is not true. God is your problem! for He has led you in His way but they are pulling you back to themselves.

The apostle Paul warns us: I Corinthians 15:33-34 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: When we share what God has said to us, we glorify God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:29-30 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. edifying: building another person in the faith in God 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Welcome to Be Bold for Jesus MinistriesToday's Message: "When Faithfulness Feels Forgotten"Speaker: Lee Arnold LiveScripture: Jeremiah 45:1–5Have you ever thought, "Lord, I've been faithful... so why does it feel like everyone else is getting aheadexcept me?" Jeremiah 45 is the shortest chapter in the book, but it contains a powerful lesson for anyone who feelsoverlooked, discouraged, or forgotten. It centers on Baruch, Jeremiah's behind-the-scenes secretary. After years of faithful service, Baruch hit a breaking point amid national collapse. God met his discouragement byexposing his heart: "Do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not." God wasn't rebuking success; He was rebuking self-centered ambition. Sometimes God's greatest blessing is teaching usthat His glory is greater than our recognition.Key Takeaways & ReflectionVisibility vs. Significance: God notices the vital work done behind the scenes. Heaven's Hall of Fame isfilled with people most have never heard of.Faithful People Get Discouraged: Discouragement isn't proof you are outside God's will; sometimes itmeans you are right in the middle of it.Success is Obedience: Kingdom success is measured by obedience, not earthly applause or results. The Ultimate Reward: The greatest reward for serving God is not what He gives us—it is God Himself.Questions to Ask: What area am I refusing to surrender? Am I mistaking God's patience for Hispermission? Welcome to Be Bold for Jesus MinistriesOur mission is to equip believers to live boldly for Christ with discernment, obedience, and unwavering trust in God—especially in seasons of uncertainty, fear, and decision-making. Led by Lee Arnold and Jaclyn Arnold, Be Bold for Jesus Ministries teaches God's Word with clarity and conviction, challenging believers to stop seeking approval for their plans and start surrendering fully to God's will.Today's Message“Don't Ask God If You've Already Decided”Lee Arnold LiveScripture: Jeremiah 42:1–22Jeremiah 42 reveals a powerful and convicting moment in the life of Israel's remnant. After chaos, fear, and uncertainty, the people come to Jeremiah asking him to seek God on their behalf. Their words sound humble. Their request sounds sincere. They promise obedience—whatever God says, they will do.But beneath their spiritual language lies a hidden truth: they had already decided to go to Egypt. This chapter exposes the danger of selective obedience—when we ask God for guidance but only intend to follow it if it aligns with what we already want. The people weren't asking for direction—they were asking for confirmation. And when God's answer finally comes after ten days, it's clear, direct, and good: stay, trust, and obey. But they reject it.Jeremiah 42 challenges us to examine the condition of our own hearts. Are we truly seeking God's will—or just hoping He agrees with ours?Key Takeaways• God cannot be deceived by outward sincerity when the heart is already decided• Asking for guidance without intention to obey is spiritual deception• Delayed obedience is still disobedience• Selective obedience is rebellion disguised as faith• God's will often requires trust over perceived safety• Fear can drive us toward “Egypt” instead of obedience• God's answers may take time—but they are always clear and trustworthy• True faith seeks God's direction, not His endorsement• The safest place is not where life feels easiest—but where God says to standToday's ReminderThe people in Jeremiah 42 sounded spiritual—but they were not surrendered. They asked God to speak, but they had no intention of following Him if the answer didn't match their plans. How often do we do the same?We pray for direction while already leaning toward our own decision. We ask for clarity when God has already spoken. We seek peace—not through obedience—but through justification.Jeremiah waited ten days to hear from the Lord. The people couldn't wait to ignore Him.God's message was simple: Stay where you are. Trust Me. Do not be afraid. But Egypt looked safer.Jeremiah 42 reminds us that what feels safe isn't always right—and what is right often requires surrender, patience, and trust. The real question is not:“Has God spoken?”The real question is:Will you obey what He already said?Because the most dangerous place a believer can live…is pretending to seek God while resisting His answer.Stay Connected• Sunday Sermons – Live on Zoom & Facebook• Wednesday Bible Study – He's The Solution Interactive Discussion• Daily Dose of Boldness – Daily encouragement from God's WordBe Bold for Jesus Conference 2026October 2–3, 2026Tickets & information at BB4J.comSupport the MissionHelp us continue sharing the Gospel and equipping believers to live boldly, wisely, and obediently for Christ.Give at bebold4jesus.org#BeBoldForJesus #Jeremiah42 #DontAskGodIfYouveAlreadyDecided #TrustAndObey #SpiritLed #Discernment #FaithInAction #ObedienceMatters #BibleTeaching #SundaySermon

Welcome to Be Bold for Jesus MinistriesOur mission is to equip believers to live boldly for Christ with surrendered obedience, unshakable faith, and courage that holds fast under pressure. We believe truth matters, obedience costs something, and God always keeps the score. Led by Lee Arnold and Jaclyn Arnold, Be Bold for Jesus Ministries teaches God's Word with clarity and conviction, calling believers to stand firm when compromise feels easier than faithfulness.Today's Message“God Keeps the Score”Lee Arnold LiveScripture: Jeremiah 39:1–18Jeremiah 39 records the fulfillment of everything God warned Judah about for decades. The city of Jerusalem falls. Judgment arrives. Choices made in secret are exposed in public. Leaders who refused truth face devastating consequences, while those who trusted God—even quietly and courageously—are remembered, protected, and rewarded. This chapter reminds us that God is never indifferent to obedience or compromise. He sees every decision. He remembers every stand. And He always proves faithful to those who trust Him—no matter how small or unseen their faithfulness may seem.Key Takeaways• God always keeps His Word—both promises and warnings• What we ignore today often determines what we endure tomorrow• Delayed judgment does not mean dismissed judgment• Fear-driven leadership leads to destruction• Obedience may cost us in the moment but saves us in eternity• God sees faithful servants even when people overlook them• Mercy triumphs for those who trust and act in faith• God's rewards are certain, though not always immediateToday's ReminderZedekiah heard the truth repeatedly—yet delayed obedience until it was too late. Jeremiah stood firm—steadfast, rejected, imprisoned, and ignored—yet God never abandoned him. And in the midst of national collapse, God singled out one faithful man, Ebed-melech, and promised him deliverance simply because he trusted the Lord and acted with courage. This chapter proves a timeless truth: Whatever a person sows, they will reap. We may think we are the exception. We may believe time has erased the consequences. But God's justice is precise, patient, and unavoidable.God sees every act of faithfulness.God remembers every quiet prayer.God keeps the score—perfectly.Truth Statements• Standing for truth will often cost you• Weak leadership enables devastating outcomes• Obedience may bring hardship, not comfort• God always sees and sends help in His timing• Fear of people will keep us from God's bestThe question Jeremiah 39 leaves us with is sobering and personal:When obedience costs you something—will you stand, or will you run? When the pressure comes—will you ring the bell, or hold your ground?Because in the end, applause on earth fades—but heaven remembers faithfulness.Stay Connected• Sunday Sermons – Live on Zoom & Facebook• Wednesday Bible Study – He's The Solution Interactive Discussion• Daily Dose of Boldness – Daily encouragement from God's WordBe Bold for Jesus Conference 2026October 2–3, 2026Tickets & information at BB4J.comSupport the MissionHelp us continue sharing the Gospel and equipping believers to stand boldly for Christ in a world that desperately needs truth.Give at bebold4jesus.org#BeBoldForJesus #GodKeepsTheScore #Jeremiah39 #ObedienceOverFear #StandingForTruth #FaithThatEndures #LiveBoldly #BibleTeaching #SundaySermon #FaithInAction

Instead of being celebrated, he is opposed, silenced, and thrown into a pit — all for obeying God. This chapter reveals the reality every believer must face:Standing for truth will bring pressure, opposition, and sacrifice — but obedience always honors God.Key Takeaways• Truth often sounds like treason to a culture committed to compromise• Weak leadership enables evil when fear replaces conviction• Obedience to God does not guarantee comfort — it may bring hardship• God always has a faithful remnant watching• Fear of people will keep us from God's best• Hearing truth is not the same as obeying truthToday's ReminderMany people want God's blessing, protection, and provision —but resist His instruction, correction, and authority.Jeremiah refused to compromise, even when obedience cost him everything.King Zedekiah heard the truth — but feared people more than God.The question Jeremiah 38 asks each of us is simple:Will we choose comfort and compromise… or pressure and obedience?Stay Connected• Sunday Sermons – Live on Zoom & Facebook• Wednesday Bible Study – Interactive discussion• Daily Dose of Boldness – Daily encouragement from God's WordBe Bold for Jesus Conference 2026
