Tonight's guest, Tara Ashton, is a Sasquatch researcher who lives in Edmonds, Washington. Amongst other things she's taken part in over the years, she's been a guest speaker at the Sasquatch Family Reunion in Kettle Falls, Washington, for the past seven or eight years. On tonight's show, Tara will talk about several Sasquatch-related experiences she's had. One of the most notable experiences she's going to talk about happened in August of 2018. That was the time she saw a 12-foot-tall male do something that was almost beyond belief. In addition to sharing the details of that experience, she's going to pass on a message that she says the Forest People want humanity to know. We hope you'll tune in and listen to Tara do that. SHOW NOTES Today I am excited to have our feed supplier, Brad Murphy and The Red Bridge Farm. We use their feed for our cattle, pigs and birds. We have had EXCELLENT feedback from our customers on the quality of the feed and how our livestock turn out. We recently had the opportunity to visit his feed plant in Kettle Falls, WA and were struck by the commitment to quality, local ingredients, designed to grow our (and your) homestead animals promoting responsible husbandry in our state. Tell us a little about yourself, your family and what led you to making feed Why Kettle Falls in particular? You are known for non gmo, no corn and no soy in your feed, why is that important? Share "behind the curtain" on how you developed the specific ratio/recipe for each feed. We grown swine for example, tell us how you arrived at that ratio You promote "cavalry oil." Tell us about that, why you make it, and the process. You told me that your raw ingredients are sourced locally, tell us more about that? If you had a way to "train your farmers/customers" on how to grow their animals or run their farms, what would you say or suggest? How can we support you and feed store? By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - March 16, 2024 - Repentance isn't a "one and done" activity that took place at our baptisms. Rather, it is ongoing. It is a gift from God, a process of examining ourselves, searching for those areas that don't match up to Christ, then turning from our wrong ways to His right Way. The Spring Holy Days offer a tangible picture of self-examination and repentance as we search for physical leaven to put out of our homes. This physical process should point us to the spiritual process of self-examination that we should all be partaking.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - March 9, 2024 - Jesus Christ referred to Himself as the Good Shepherd. As such, He stood in stark contrast to the leaders of His day and set the example for other human shepherds in the Church who He would appoint. The Good Shepherd knows His sheep by name, binds up their wounds, protects them from danger, goes after those who are lost and lays His life down for His sheep.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - February 24, 2024 - A large portion of scripture is devoted to both fulfilled and unfulfilled prophetic events. Studying into these events should bring us to repentance, motivate us to live godly lives and more fully help us understand the times in which we live. Most of all, prophecy proves that God is God.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - February 17, 2024 - Elijah was one of the mighty heroes of faith, someone we often feel we could never aspire to be. Yet we are told that his nature was like ours. His character was developed over many years, when he had to fully rely on God. We, too, have to learn to wait patiently for God to provide, and embrace the opportunities to develop faith and patience. God's blessing on us can enable blessings to flow to others. We can also learn from Elijah to be willing to cry out to God in difficult times, even when we don't understand what is going on. We must always run towards God, not away from Him!
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - February 10, 2024 - Throughout history, men of God have preached the gospel message of salvation to a world largely unwilling to hear. To those who are perishing, the true gospel is a foolish message spread by foolish preachers. But to those who are being saved, it is the power and wisdom of God unto life!
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - January 27, 2024 - What does it mean to walk worthy of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the gospel message? From the beginning to the end of the biblical record, we are admonished to pay close attention to our conduct so that our lives bring glory to God. We have been given an amazing calling, and our daily actions must be found walking in agreement with that standard.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - January 27, 2024 - One of the many internal proofs of the Bible is the fact that in spite of being written over a period of 1500+ years by 40 different writers, there is a united, consistent flow of themes and ideas. Histories presented in the Old Testament are fleshed out and given added meaning in the New Testament. The promises of God are shown to come to pass. Some prophecies have details added as the Bible progresses through time. We can be assured that the Bible is indeed the complete, inspired Word of God by the unity of the Scripture.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - January 6, 2024 - Marriage is a special covenant ordained of God from creation. As a loving Father, God gives us the institution of marriage that we might learn to love one another as He loves us. This message looks at the biblical roles of both the husband and the wife, which God designed to be a blessing. It also contains a number of vital tips which all couples should build into their marriages.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - December 30, 2023 - Opportunities don't last forever. The time to develop a relationship with God is now. The time will come when there is no more time - if we seek God with all our hearts and are not complacent, He will be found by us.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - December 23, 2023 - Many in the religious world around us are well-intentioned in their worship, but it also needs to be true. True worship of God begins with knowing Him and doing what He commands. The blending of false and true religion is called syncretism, something which God hates. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. This message also explores the roots of some of the symbols associated with Christmas.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - December 9, 2023 - We live in a world full of noise! As God's people we must learn to quiet our environment and draw close to Him, just as Jesus Christ did. Spiritual quietness is an effect of the righteousness of God at work in our lives, but it has to start somewhere. It begins with finding our quiet times and places were our relationship with our heavenly Father can be developed and nurtured.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - October 28, 2023 - In the Church, God has called multiple generations to be in the same congregation. Those who are younger can benefit from the wisdom and experience of those who have been walking this Way for decades. Those who are older can also be benefited from those who are younger. In order to realize these benefits, we need to develop relationships with brethren across differing generations.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - November 4, 2023 - Discipleship includes not only learning what the instructor is teaching but following that instructor in all they do. As Christ's disciples, we should be striving to emulate everything He did as we live this life. When people look at us, they should see a representative of Christ, ultimately seeing Christ in us. There will be challenges, but the rewards far outweigh any cost we may have to pay.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - October 21, 2023 - Being comfortable and experiencing growth are two mutually exclusive things. It feels good to be comfortable, but we easily stagnate there - spiritual growth often comes through uncomfortable circumstances. As we read scripture, we see that many of the heroes of faith were pushed out of their comfort zones and grew to be the examples we look to. Ultimately, getting comfortable with being uncomfortable will lead towards our growth into children of God.
By Paul Moody in Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - September 16, 2023 - The Feast of Trumpets highlights God's direct intervention into human affairs for the purpose of establishing His Kingdom. The Trumpet blasts associated with this day carry meaning for the whole world. They also carry meaning for the people of God. As spiritual Zion, this Holy Day reminds us to heed the trumpet call in our lives unto repentance, judgement, submission to the authority of the Kingdom of God and the assembling of ourselves together. Can we hear the trumpet sounding in Zion? Click on the “Downloads” button for the handout mentioned in this message.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - September 9, 2023 - Our calling from God is a personal and individual matter. We must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. No one else can do it for us. Right alongside that God has called us into a body of believers so that we may encourage, support and help one another on this spiritual journey. Together we contribute towards the success of each other.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - August 19, 2023 - God is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The word translated "Longsuffering" literally means "long-tempered", as opposed to the short-tempered attitudes often evidenced in the world around us and even in our own lives. We must be careful not to take the divine long-suffering of God for granted, but rather, use the time He has given us well, yielding to His Spirit and allowing His long-suffering to become a part of our nature as we patiently wait on the return of Jesus Christ.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - August 12, 2023 - Residing in temporary dwellings during the Feast of Tabernacles is part of our obedience and worship of God, and we can learn many valuable lessons from this activity. Everything we own, our bodies, and even this world are temporary. As strangers and pilgrims on the earth, we're not putting down permanent roots here. Dwelling in booths reminds us that we are simply passing through on our journey to a more permanent destination; the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. It's while we are dwelling in the temporary that God does His greatest eternal work in us.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - July 8, 2023 - The weekly Sabbath is included in the list of the Feasts of the Lord and is holy time, set apart by God from creation. It points back to creation and points ahead to the ultimate rest of the Kingdom of God. It also represents freedom; Israel was freed from Egypt and God's people have been freed from the bondage of this world and Satan's way. This special day is a time for us to worship and reflect on God, and build our relationship with Him and each other. We must not allow it to become routine; it is such a fantastic blessing.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - June 17, 2023 - For many, graduation marks the completion of one chapter of life and the beginning of another. Graduates often have far reaching decisions to make that affect the course of their life. This message speaks to the graduates, and the rest of us, about the importance of partnering with God, and the principles of His word, in order to make life work as He intends.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - June 3, 2023 - Many worry about the "unpardonable sin." There is no sin God won't forgive when we are truly repentant and stay under the umbrella of His grace. However, unpardonable sin is a reality we must be aware of. It includes a willful rejection of God's grace and knowingly blaspheming the Holy Spirit by attributing the power of God to Satan. In general, if you worry that you have committed the "unpardonable sin," you haven't. However, we must never forsake the grace-filled lessons of the spring Holy Days by continually seeking to be right with God through repentance and spiritual growth.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - May 28, 2023 - As the time of Jesus' departure drew near, He told His disciples, "I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper." The Holy Spirit is the power and essence of God. Referred to as "The Promise", the Holy Spirit leads us to truth, love, reconciliation, to the knowledge of the deep things of God. As we submit to the lead of the Spirit, we are enabled to overcome and produce the fruit of the spirit.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - May 13, 2023 - In whatever we have been called to do as a church, we are stronger when doing it together with the strength that every member supplies. Whether it's speaking the same thing or doing the same work or assembling in worship as the people of God, the outcome is always stronger when we do it well and we do it together!
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - April 29, 2023 - The name of Jesus Christ isn't simply a sounding of syllables. Rather, there is authority and identity behind the name. Many great acts happened in the Bible because Jesus' name was invoked. Jesus' name is tied to healing, miracles and salvation. Praying in Jesus' name declares that we come to God through the standing which has been granted to us by our High Priest! We must not take this name lightly. It is the name which is above every name. There is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - April 22, 2023 - Without purpose, people are directionless. Knowing our purpose enables us to have vision, which should in turn lead us to action. If we live each day with our God-given purpose and vision clearly in mind, it will motivate us to actively seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - April 12, 2023 - The victory over sin and death has already been won by Christ's sacrifice and resurrection. It rests with us to embrace that victory and do our part, which is to look to God in faith and do what He's given us to do. It's well worth every effort we must put forth to embrace this amazing victory.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - April 6, 2023 - Israel could not look to God as their master while they were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt. Likewise, we can't properly serve God while we are still slaves to sin. Israel needed God's help to come out of Egypt, and we need His help to put out sin and put on righteousness. It's not enough to just put out the leaven of sin, we must put the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth into our lives each and every day. We have been bought at a price and the only Master we serve is God.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - March 25, 2023 - The Lamb is a title attributed to Jesus Christ, reflecting His specific role in God's plan of salvation for all of mankind. He is the Lamb of God's choosing from before the foundation of the world. His redemptive work did not end with His death on the Passover, but continues forward throughout the biblical record. Jesus is identified as "the Lamb" 28 times in the Book of Revelation. His worthiness to open the seals of the scroll, wage war on the nations, rule as Lord of lords and King of kings and take a bride is tied to His past and future role as the Lamb of God. This sermon also shows from the scriptures why the Passover is to be kept on the beginning of the 14th day of the first month according to the Old Testament record and in agreement with the timing in which Christ and His disciples kept it together on the final night of Jesus' physical life.

By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - March 18, 2023 - Jesus died for us - this should prompt a response in us of love and service to all. It is only reasonable that we do everything we are able to honor Christ with our lives. Being living sacrifices implies that the service we give isn't only going to happen when it's convenient - it wouldn't be a sacrifice if we only gave when it was easy. There are examples of brethren who live lives of service, and we should be inspired by their examples (as well as by the ultimate example of Jesus Christ) and do likewise. (This sermon contains pictures and updates regarding our brethren in Ghana and Nigeria.)
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - February 25, 2023 - Jesus Christ stated, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." A truly abundant life goes far beyond merely accumulating nice material things. While physical things can certainly add a measure of comfort and security to our lives, God's way brings true joy and abundance. This calling is such an incredible blessing - it leads to a truly abundant life both now and in the Kingdom of God.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - February 18, 2023 - God's promises to Abraham formed the foundation of His covenant with Israel at Sinai, as well as His covenant with the Church. Some mistakenly teach that the Church of God has replaced Israel as the sole recipients of God's promises and blessings. However, Replacement Theology is not a teaching found in the Bible. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew! His plan and purpose for Israel continues to this day. Following the return of Jesus Christ, they will be reestablished in the Promised Land as the model nation God intended them to be from the start. The Church foreshadows what Israel and the rest of the world will ultimately become in the plan and purpose of God.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - February 4, 2023 - God's plan of salvation is the best news we could possibly have. As we walk through the Holy Day seasons in the course of the year, we are reminded of what has already been done for our redemption and what is yet to take place as we look forward to the establishment of the Kingdom of God. The gospel message is declared through both the teaching and keeping of God's Holy Days.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - January 28, 2023 - The Bible is very clear in defining what is good and what is evil. This society has been busy blurring the lines and making biblically defined evil appear to not be quite so bad, or, even worse, saying that what God calls evil is actually good and praiseworthy. As God's people, we need to love what is good, seek the good, and do the good always.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - January 7, 2023 - Prayer is a vital part of our relationship with God. As His people today we have a unique perspective into the issues impacting the end-time church and the matters we must all be praying about. This sermon explores some of the prayers which Jesus and the apostles highlighted as relevant to the Church all the way up to the end of the age.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - December 17, 2022 - What does it mean to be a profitable servant of God? Scripture shows that a profitable servant goes beyond what he or she is told to do. We are expected to exercise justice, mercy and faith, and fulfill the spiritual intent of the law. We need to give God and each other our all.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - December 3, 2022 - God is hands-on with us, shaping us as a potter does clay. Our part is to submit to His work, and not resist Him. We are created for good works.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - December 10, 2022 - While being angry is not a sin, all too often our reactions to anger are sinful or lead to sin. God and Christ set an example of what godly anger looks like - they are angry when there is evil and injustice, and their anger is "for a moment" - they don't allow it to fester. Allowing anger to reside in our minds leads to bitterness and other negative, ungodly results.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - November 12, 2022 - The drunken harlot and the sober bride are portrayed in the book of Revelation, and are opposite one another. The sober bride is the Church, the bride of Christ. In our Christian walk, we should be sober both physically and spiritually. Drunkenness will ultimately keep us out of the Kingdom of God and has no part in the life of a follower of Christ. We need to take care to live a life of sobriety in all areas of life.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - November 5, 2022 - We worship the God of patience and comfort. The Bible is His Word of patience and comfort for us. In times of uncertainty, reading about the heroes of faith patiently enduring challenges gives us comfort and encouragement resulting in hope. Quite a few years passed between when David was anointed and when he actually became king of Israel. His writings and example show him looking to God to fulfil His promises in His good time rather than taking matters into his own hands. His example is instructive for us.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - October 29, 2022 - As we see the events of this present evil world, we can remember that this is not God's world, and look forward to the Kingdom of God. We should live as citizens of that coming Kingdom now, representing God's Way to those around us.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - September 26, 2022 - God the Father will send Jesus Christ back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, to sit as King upon the throne of David. What is so significant about that throne that Jesus would assume it? What qualifies Him personally to sit upon it? Who's throne was it originally? Who sits upon it now? Who else will occupy that throne alongside Jesus Christ in the age to come? The Feast of Trumpets allows us an exciting opportunity to glimpse into the past, present and future significance of the throne of David.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - October 1, 2022 - The Feast days are an essential part of our covenant relationship with God. He designed them in such a way that we would learn to rejoice and fear before Him always. If we consider the Feast of Tabernacles to be just a great vacation, then we've lost perspective along the way. Putting our relationship with God first must be the focus of this Feast. This message contains four points to making the Feast of Tabernacles the memorable and fulfilling experience God intends.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - September 10, 2022 - God has called us to be peacemakers, doing what we can to live peaceably with all. However, there may be times when a Christian comes under direct assault, either physically or spiritually. How we choose to respond in those cases has specific biblical parameters and consequences. Not every self-defense tactic is a fight. Situational awareness is recognized as the most important cognitive tactic you can employ towards your own personal safety. God is our defender, but we have our part to play as well.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - September 3, 2022 - Fallow ground is soil in which no crops are actively being grown - usually it is hard and full of weeds. Spiritually we can have areas in our lives where there is fallow ground - God's Word contains quite a number of things we need to be doing in our lives, including loving our enemies, developing long suffering, regularly praying, studying, and fasting, fellowshipping with brethren, and the list goes on. We should examine our lives to see if we are growing godly crops and producing the fruit of righteousness, or if we in fact are allowing fallow ground to remain in our lives.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - August 27, 2022 - The plan of God is to "bring many sons to glory". Love is the foundation of all God does. We are called, and we need to choose to accept that call and walk accordingly. The choices we make now carry eternal consequences.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - July 30, 2022 - If we are to have any chance of sharing our faith with others then we need to learn to meet people where they are, to find common ground. Learn to listen and be genuinely interested in where they are. Develop empathy and compassion and be sensitive to the situations you are in. Above all, pray for God's guidance and discernment in our human interactions, that we can point people to Him.
By Paul Moody in Clearwater Valley, ID, Kennewick, WA, Kettle Falls, WA, Spokane, WA - July 23, 2022 - Jesus Christ's admonition to the church in Sardis states, “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life.” The Bible reveals the Book of Life to be the determining record of all of those who will be granted entrance into the Kingdom of God. How do we become written in that book? What is recorded there about us? What could cause our names to be removed from the Book of Life?
