In this episode, Karl Bryan and Rode Dog dive deep into how AI is transforming business and coaching, what it really means for job security, the art of structuring irresistible offers, and why changing your environment might be the ultimate life hack. With their usual candid banter, they break down high-level strategies—from AI optimism and creative sales terms to the personal value of being okay with rejection. Key Topics Covered The Future of AI and Employment Karl Bryan and Rode Dog debate if AI will steal jobs or create more opportunity, drawing parallels with previous tech revolutions like the internet and the tractor. Historical lens: AI's current economic "instruments" indicate growth and the doubling of new businesses, not disruption. The real trick? Use AI as "gasoline" to turbocharge your business, not as the vehicle itself. Structuring Irresistible Offers & Terms How creative offer structuring—like free trials, installment payments, third-party financing, and delayed commitments—outperforms just negotiating on price. Karl Bryan shares real-life examples from selling his car to structuring coaching programs, highlighting how adjusting terms can close more deals with less friction and more satisfaction. Delayed gratification and being okay with "no" are ultimate business "superpowers." Business and Life Hacks The critical hack: Be comfortable hearing "no"—it's a precondition for major financial success. The underrated power of changing your environment, whether it's moving, joining new groups, or varying your routines—impacting both mental health and business growth. Zen and the Art of Business Coaching Why happiness is fleeting and peace/contentment should be the target. Powerful reframing: "No is a decision, yes is a responsibility." Notable Quotes "AI is gasoline. It's not the car. It's turbo. It's not the accelerator." – Karl Bryan "Be okay with no. Introduce me to a person who's made a ton of money and I'll introduce you to someone that's heard 'no' 2,000 times and counting." – Karl Bryan "Change of environment is a hack on steroids. You can always turn around and come back—but even a small change can be wildly impactful." – Karl Bryan "Happiness is that feeling you get right before you need more happiness." (Don Draper, quoted by Karl Bryan) Actionable Takeaways Leverage AI, Don't Fear It: See AI as an accelerator—use it to enhance what you're already doing instead of worrying about being replaced. Structure Creative Offers: Experiment with free trials, installment plans, reservation options, and third-party financing to make your programs irresistible and reduce buyer resistance. Get Comfortable with Rejection: Make peace with "no"—the most successful people have embraced it, and it's almost always a sign you're pushing boundaries and growing. Change Your Environment: Both big moves and small changes (joining a new club, going to a new event, changing your routine) can have a powerful impact on creativity, mental health, and opportunity. Focus on Peace, Not Just Happiness: Understand that lasting success comes from contentment and peace, not chasing fleeting moments of happiness. Set your goals accordingly. She works with conscious entrepreneurs, couples, and women who are ready to come alive, helping them clear blocks across pleasure, purpose, prosperity, persona, and power through somatic practices, plant-based wisdom, and therapeutic coaching. In this episode, Bijou and I go deep into a side of authenticity that doesn't get talked about enough. We explore why authenticity can trigger resistance in others, why being honest often costs you approval, and how self-love isn't always soft, but rather, it's often brave. We talk about archetypes, nervous system responses, identity shedding, and what happens when you stop performing who you think you're supposed to be. Episode 96How to get comfortable with being uncomfortableSUMMARY SECTION The negative impacts previously associated with a mid-life crisis are now striking people in their 20's and 30's. Through his coaching, James Rule regularly encounters individuals who are feeling stuck and this is compromising their performance and fulfilment in both their personal lives and professional roles. In this episode he highlights the power of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable in order to make the changes required to reconnect with your purpose and obtain new levels of fulfilment. He shares key moments in his life where he was rewarded for making big changes and pushing through adversity and discomfort. KEY TAKEAWAYSListen to your gut feeling. You know when something, a role, a relationship, is no longer fulfilling you. Rather than worrying about what people will think if you make a significant change, worry about what you will think years down the line if your don't and are filled with regret.Do not fear the creation of a new identity that is not solely built around your professional role but also factors in who you are as a person.Expect change to be uncomfortable but remind yourself of the rewards for persisting and pushing through that discomfort.ABOUT THE HOST James is an experienced mentor, coach and thought leader who works with a range of clients from FTSE 100 companies, SME´s the NHS and wider public and not for profit sectors. His twenty year career in elite sport initially as a professional rugby player but predominantly as a chief executive has given him an invaluable insight in managing the success, failures and pressures associated with leadership at the highest level. As a high performance coach James specialises in enhancing resilience and leadership development. He is a passionate advocate of the notion that to find lasting fulfilment we need to take a holistic view of high performance. You already know story matters. However, a few subtle hang-ups may still be holding you back.  In this episode, I reframe four common storytelling mistakes so you can get comfortable, get practicing, and get your stories working for you. Practice over theory: Storytelling is a verb. Shift the ratio from “one more book/framework” to actual reps. You don't have one story: You have many. Build a Story Bank and match moments to context and audience. Personal ≠ private: Tell human, lived stories (with appropriate vulnerability) without oversharing. In his role as middle-school cross country coach, the Inflation Guy is fond of reminding runners that they should "get comfortable with being uncomfortable." The same, it seems, is true of inflation! From the lens of median inflation, it has leveled out around 3.6% and there are no real signs and no real math that bring it lots lower any time soon. But more interesting perhaps is how the Fed reaction function has changed. Listen to the Inflation Guy explain why the CPI report should still be important to investors even though it may no longer be very important to policymakers. From bouncing back after back surgery to building a consulting empire, Bob reveals how embracing discomfort is the secret weapon behind sustained success. April pushes deep into his mindset—probing for imposter syndrome, fear, and identity loss—but what she uncovers is a man grounded in presence and possibility. What You'll Learn: How to turn physical and emotional “shock” into transformation Why high performers don't fear failure—they reframe it How resilience isn't inherited, it's chosen Tools Bob uses to coach elite performers under pressure The difference between being average and deciding you're not Key Quotes: “You don't graduate from hardship—you reframe it.” “We're not average. And you don't have to be either.” “Shock is the starting point of your evolution.” Actionable Takeaways: Reframe your past losses as learning experiences Stay where your feet are—practice being in the moment Make the decision today that you are not average In shock moments, ask: What is this here to teach me? Choose evidence that empowers you, not weakens you Bob's story is a lesson in grit, clarity, and redefining what's possible. Whether you're an athlete, entrepreneur, or just someone standing in your own way, this episode shows what happens when you get comfortable being uncomfortable. --------- Want to be part of a transformative experience for entrepreneurs and leaders?

The 3-Call Fallacy: Why Most Sales Reps Quit Prospecting Too Early

Sales Gravy: Jeb Blount

How many times do you actually attempt to reach out to a prospect before you give up? On the Sales Gravy Podcast, Jessica Stokes calls out a common sales reality when prospecting: “We all know the average salesperson typically stops after three, maybe four attempts before moving on. We assume they're not interested. We want to find a juicier lead.” This common behavior defines The 3-Call Fallacy—the flawed belief that if someone doesn't respond after a few tries, they're not interested. It's where you probably tap out and tell yourself you've done enough. You haven't. Persistence is key.  Why Salespeople Quit Prospecting Too Early The premature retreat from prospecting isn't about laziness; it's rooted in fundamental misconceptions and fear. The Fear of Being Annoying The most common excuse? “I don't want to be a pest.”  You leave a voicemail, send an email, maybe try LinkedIn, and then you back off. You tell yourself you're giving them space. But your prospect doesn't remember you. When you're looking at your CRM thinking, "This is my sixth attempt—I'm going to tick this guy off," your prospect likely has no idea who you are. To them, today's call feels like the first time you've reached out. The Momentum Killer Spacing out your touchpoints destroys any traction you might have built. Waiting a week—or worse, a month—between messages forces you to restart every time. That familiar name? Forgotten. That compelling message? Gone. Momentum is built with consistency. Familiarity breeds trust, but only if you stay in front of them long enough to become familiar. The 4 Steps of Building a Fanatical Prospecting Sequence The fix? Being fanatical about sequencing.  It's about consistent, well-timed, multi-channel outreach that keeps your message fresh and front of mind. Stay Consistent: Don't let more than a few days pass between touchpoints. Regular rhythm creates recall. Think of it like a steady drumbeat—not a one-time boom. Use Multiple Channels: Your prospect may ignore emails but answer LinkedIn. Or they may screen unknown numbers but reply to a personalized video. Use all the tools available: Phone calls Emails LinkedIn messages Video messages Direct mail (for high-value prospects) Track Your True Attempt Rate: Most reps overestimate their persistence. Implement a rigorous tracking system, whether in your CRM or a simple spreadsheet, to log every single touchpoint. Reframe Your Mindset: You're not bothering people—you're offering help. If you believe in your product and know it can solve their problems, persistent outreach is a service, not a nuisance. The Prospecting Challenge Ready to put this into action? Take 20-50 leads and run a sequence over the next 30-45 days. Make contact attempts every few days using multiple channels. Track your progress. You'll likely discover: Responses after 8, 10, even 12 attempts. Prospects saying things like "I'm glad you reached out again" or "I was thinking about calling you back." Booked appointments you never would have gotten with the traditional 3-call approach. 3 Common Personal Objections (And Why They're Wrong) This is where self-sabotage shows up. Let's break down the common excuses: "I don't want to be annoying." Your prospect deleted your voicemail in 10 seconds. They're not sitting there with a map of all your attempts, getting angrier with each one. "If they were interested, they would have called back." People are busy. Interest doesn't always translate to immediate action.  "I need to focus on warmer leads." Every lead starts cold. The difference between a cold lead and a warm lead is often just consistent, value-driven follow-up. You make them warm. The Discipline Factor: Every Attempt Counts Just like you can't run a 10K after one day of training, you can't expect immediate results from prospecting. It's a cumulative effort that builds momentum over time. Start Small: Don't try to overhaul your entire prospecting approach overnight. Pick 20 leads and build a 30-45 day sequence. Master this small batch, then scale up. Use Your CRM: If it's not tracked, it didn't happen. Consistent CRM usage is non-negotiable for understanding your efforts and optimizing your results. Over time, the data will show you patterns about when prospects typically engage. Get Comfortable with "No": “No” isn't failure. “No, not now,” “No, we're under contract,” or “No, budget's tight” are all valuable intel. A clear no means you can move on clean—or set a strategic follow-up for the future. The Bottom Line While your competitors are giving up after a few attempts, you can be the persistent professional who stays in front of prospects until they engage.  Your prospect's lack of immediate response isn't personal rejection—it's just bad timing. Your job is to be there when the timing improves. Stop making excuses. Stop being afraid of annoying people. Start being fanatical about your follow-up. Take your prospecting sequences to the next level, set more appointments, build deeper relationships, and close more deals with the techniques in our FREE guide, How many times do you actually attempt to reach out to a prospect before you give up? Stigall continues to get angry mail from people who think he's being unkind in his discussions about the federal workforce. As he continues to try to explain, it's not about being unkind - it's about our national survival. How to we come to a place where American states are relying on Canada for their energy needs? Why are American towns hollowed out with no options for work except fast food and government jobs? It's by design. Bureaucrats and politicians have sold us up the river and now Trump is trying to force an uncomfortable national conversation on how to reverse course. It will not be a quick fix. Plus, Tony Schaffer on what's next with Ukraine and Russia now that Ukraine has agreed to a ceasefire agreement. Will Russia agree? And with the House passing the CR yesterday, it lands in the Senate where it will need 6 or 7 Democrats to keep the government from shutting down. Friday is the deadline. Can they get there? Jim Pfaff of the Conservative Cacucus breaks it down. -For more info visit the official website: https://chrisstigall.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisstigallshow/Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisStigallFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chris.stigall/Listen on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/StigallPodListen on Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/StigallShow-Global Coin, for exclusive listener offers go to https://www.shopglobalcoin.com/pages/stigall or call 1-888-560-3125.-Keep up with the Trump Administration when you subscribe to The Trump Report.
