Warning: Explicit Conversations About Politics, Culture, & Sexuality   All aboard the Love Train! The Goal is the Journey & We're on a Journey of the Heart through an increasingly Heartless World… as Pr. Max & I ride continue to celebrate & investigate the High Holidays of LoVE chewing chocolate Valentines (thanks Dragon Steel!) on the choo-choo Love Train, exploring Lupercalian history, the original pagan Pan-horned Vday & Pan Paniscus, the Make-Love-Not-War bonobos, for World Bonobo Day Here in Bonoboville, we've long celebrated the Lupercal, usually with a flogging bacchanal  Better to have your buns beaten consensually on Lupercalia than your heart broken badly on Valentine's Day. So we give out Kink Ideas like candy & Sex Tips from the Heart (the heart being a symbol, I believe, not of the cardiac organ, but of a well-whipped Lupercalian butt!), & we address the disturbing question: What do incels do on Valentine's Day? Btw, there are no incels in Bonoboville. Bonobo males are laid back because they get laid! Speaking of bonobos, sexology bodyworker Jason Bartholomew Hall calls in from Nottingham to tell us about the The Bonobo Experience: Spanish Retreat, a real-life gathering of Bonobo Sapiens in Spain's Valley of Sensations. Also calling in from England is Adam with a humiliation fetish, which reminds us to applaud Dark Brandon for turning the SOTU tables on his MAGAt harassers (they must have a humiliation fetish), which leads into the true meaning of “harassment” & how the heart is a butt targeted by bots, & yes, I'm still under the jackboot of YouTub Censorship & now corresponding with two sympathetic-seeming Googlers, one of whom confessed she is “afraid” to tell me the real reason my channel was terminated, Help! I'm trapped in the Twilight Zone of AI Artificial lgnorance.  Well, you can catch me on Sex Before the Internet” (Sex Before the Internet) reminiscing about HBO's "Real Sex,” now on VICE TV. So we share the sexy lefty LUSTY whiptastick history of the #Lupercal before it was sanitized, desexualized and commercialized by the Catholic Church, Hallmark, See's & DaBeers, Being #ProBonobo, we also celebrate #WorldBonoboDay with #BonoboLove honoring humanity's Great Ape cousins, the #bonobos. We also talk about the upcoming “Sex Before the Internet,” a new series on Vice TV, in Episode 5 featuring Me & Other Luminaries discussing the #SexMagic of HBO Documentary Films “Real Sex” #RealSex & “Radio Sex TV” In other news, “Phony Cafone” Ron DeSantis is banning books & forcing girls to report menstrual periods.   Armie Hammer is now telling his side of the Cannibal story which began him being molested by his pastor.  Yes indeed. At the dawn of Christianity, the Church Fathers terminated the truth of Lupercalia in favor of the fake news of Valentine's Day (just as #YouTubeCensorship recently terminated My YouTube account and turned Pan into the Devil! Warning: Explicit Conversations About Politics, Culture, & Sexuality Bookending the High Holidays of Love with a little romantic V-Day sex (starting and climaxing the V-Day weekend), My Valentine and I take the Love Train between orgasms, celebrating Lupercalia, the original, pagan, februa-flogging Holiday of the Heart, and World Bonobo Day, honoring humanity's closest Great Ape cousins, the Make-Love-Not-War, female-empowered, male-nurturing, sharing, caring, peace-through-pleasure-loving bonobos. Valentine's Day exalts romantic love between couples, which Capt'n Max ((whom I'm now calling my "V-Day Senior Sex Machine")  and I have been blessed to enjoy—even in marriage!—for over 30 years. But I've never liked the pressure, commercialism and exclusivity of V-Day, which is one of many reasons I enjoy Lupercalia and World Bonobo Day, celebrating a more inclusive love—on the kinky, consensual, pan-sensual, polyamorous Pan-Horns of Lust—in the community. In that spirit of communal ecstasy, we are delighted to reconnect with old friends and lovers from orgiastic Lupercalias past on this ride, like SUZY award-winning “Most Bonobo-Sexy Couple” stars of the legendary Lupercal of 2018, Daniele Watts and Chef Belive (currently grappling with mistreatment by an Atlanta yoga studio!), and that “Most Adorable” Valentine Princess, Amor “Baby Block” Hilton. We hope to see them all soon in Bonoboville when Vice-TV comes to film a documentary about what “icons” we are. We also help caller “Jack” get on the path to releasing his inner bonobo, and we review current events in our inimitable F.D.R. fashion, as well as censorship and the sexual counter-revolution, including the awful anti-Free Speech “Earn It” act, and my recent State of the Sexual Union address on Hartley Pleshaw's Lowell, Massachusetts-based “Active Radio” show on WCAP-AM. This week's exciting throwback is "LUPERCALIA MMXIII: Rising & Squirting," celebrating love, lust, impact play, Roman history, comparative religions and the fine art of female ejaculation. That should stimulate you into a gloriously lusty celebration of whatever High Holiday of Love you prefer this year, next year or anytime you feel the spirit of Pan within you. The artist Barrie Cooke had fishing in common with Ted Hughes, and mud and art in common with Seamus Heaney. Dr Mark Wormald, a scholar on the life and writings of Ted Hughes, has brought to light an extraordinary haul of poems, letters and drawings documenting a decades-long triangular friendship and a shared love of poetry and nature. He describes the spine-tingling discovery of Barrie’s cardboard box stuffed with correspondence and traces its history, starting with the first supper at Barrie’s Kilkenny home, Jerpoint House, where the trio forged their friendship, Seamus began Station Island and a poet’s haven flourished. From Ted’s dream of a burning fox man, climbing into Carrowkeel passage tombs and visits from Robert Lowell and Tom Paulin to fishing diaries, pike spoons and a stuffed trout, subsurface treasures are dredged up as our literary sifting takes us off the beaten track. Warning: Explicit Conversations About Politics, Culture, & Sexuality It's Valentine's Day, Galentine's Day, Ballentine's Day (ok, Capt'n Max made that one up), Chinese New Year, National Tortellini Day, Single Awareness Day (a listener tells us about that one) and World Bonobo Day (#GoBonobos!) 2021, and we celebrate them all, especially LUPERCALIA, the original pagan Valentine's Day that marks the coming of Spring with the race of hormones, the howl of the wolf, the sensual, consensual sting of the whip and the lusty, fun-filled blessings of Pan, the horned, horny, mischievous and ecosexual god of the wild. Here in Bonoboville, we've celebrated the Lupercal, V-Day and all the High Holidays of Love with a fabulous flogging festival, Commedia Erotica reenactments, live music and a wild bacchanalian orgy of orgies for over 10 years. But it's 2021, and we're still making our masked and physically-distanced way through the treacherous Coronapocalypse, so it's just my #1 Valentine and me (plus able engineer Unscene Abe), broadcasting this special, heartfelt episode of F.D.R. (F*ck Da Rich) radio, featuring one of the greatest stories hardly ever told, the primeval tale of the Lupercal. We also say R.I.P. to Hustler publisher, Free Speech fighter and “interracial” porn pioneer, Larry Flynt, as well as Chicago 8 (and 7) antiwar activist Rennie Davis, and we roll our collective eyes over the “Gutless Offensive Pathetic” (GOP) refusal to convict twice-impeached Capitol Riot-inciter and all around a-hole, Donald J. Trumpty Dumpty. Not that we expected him to be found guilty by a “jury” of many who are also guilty. But first our F.D.R. Love Train takes the time warp through the Italian countryside just outside of Rome, and we venture into the deep dark womb-like cave of the Lupercal, where the ancient Holiday of the Heart was born… Can't get enough of V-Day's amazing origin story?
