As always, thanks for listening! Weez on everyone! WEEZ ON!

Ep. 37. "I've Had It Up To Here" is the fifth track off of Everything Will Be Alright in the End, a return to form for the band and John's favorite Post-Pinkerton album. Self-proclaimed Weezer experts Jen and Patrick have not yet been able to make themselves listen to the new Weezer record, so they're sitting down with YOU (and a few drinks) to give it the old college try. Make sure you're not driving, pregnant, or operating heavy machinery, and then crack open a beer and join in.
Alright guys, we waited and waited, and it is finally here! Pacific Daydream, Weezer's latest album dropped October 27th, 2017 and we love it! We already talked about half of the album, but Amy was in town and we couldn't wait to discuss. Thanks for listening!
The greatest romance in the history of podcasting continues with our review of the new Weezer record, "Pacific Daydream." We're definitely in the part of the rom-com where one half of the relationship does something regrettable, while everyone's forced to re-evaluate why they love each other. Rivers and Co. are simply put, testing our ride-or-die pledge. We also talk "Mario Odyssey" and play a round of The Billboard Game. Get advanced episodes and exclusive audio on Patreon. For several generations of rock fans, Weezer's "Blue Album" and its follow-up, "Pinkerton", are foundational albums of adolescence. What is it about Rivers Cuomo's socially awkward anthems that connects with so many misfits? In the wake of a new Weezer album, "Pacific Daydream", Steve called up Vulture movie critic Emily Yoshida to discuss their mutual Weezer phases, and they wound up delving deep into the band's catalogue as well as the intensely emotional highs and lows of teenagerdom. Other topics include: the sorta-Weezer tribute band Ozma, the embarrassing video for "Beverly Hills," and the best Weezer songs to sing at karaoke. This episode, like that bottle of Steven's, is guaranteed to awaken ancient feelings. Support from: ZipRecruiter
In their mini episode debut, Rachel & Rick share their excitement regarding the album to be released 10/27/17, Pacific Daydream! Their first impressions of track 1 - Mexican Fender, and a brief discussion on a song that was reviewed in their first episode, Feels Like Summer, the Acoustic version!
"Once upon a time, I, Chuang Chou, dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Chou. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man." --Patrick reading River's Cuomo quoting Zhuang. Somehow this all relates to a new Weezer record. Jen and Patrick return from their extended recess to process the two new singles off the forthcoming Pacific Daydream. Not hearing guitar solos, but those lyrics are the right kind of dumb.
