In this powerful episode, Wendy sits down with Lisa Woodruff, the visionary behind Organized 365, to dive deep into how she's unapologetically saying "yes" to herself—just as much, if not more, than she says yes to her family. Lisa opens up about taking control of her life in her 40s, launching her business, and stepping boldly into her purpose, all while continuing to support her loved ones. She shares how she kept asking herself, “What more do you want, Lisa?”—a question that led her to pursue bigger dreams, like earning her PhD in her 50s, and building her business beyond anyone's expectations. Lisa speaks to the courage it takes to prioritize your own growth in the face of societal pressures and reminds us that women are already running the world—we just need to own it. From shifting household dynamics (like passing cooking duties to her husband) to embracing the fact that we all have more capacity than we think, Lisa's journey is a masterclass in self-empowerment. Get ready to be inspired, and stay tuned for part two of this transformative conversation next week!About Lisa:Lisa, along with 87% of Americans, believes organization is a learnable skill. Yet less than 18% of those same Americans feel they are organized. Through Organize 365®'s courses, Lisa aims to teach Americans young and old the skill of organizing and unlocking their time for what they are uniquely created to do.Under Lisa's direction, Organize 365 has conducted academic research, establishing the definitions of housework, home organization, and the weight of paper in the American home. This ongoing research is making the invisible work at home visible to all. Now in pursuit of her PhD, Lisa is moving our collective experience into the field of academia. She is the author of four books, including "How ADHD Affects Home Organization" and "The Paper Solution". Lisa's understanding of the lived female American experience has helped her to articulate why women are overwhelmed, tired, and what to do about it! Through The Sunday Basket®, Lisa helps externalize the routine tasks that take up the executive functioning capacity of our brains; freeing us up to think and create again!Connect with Lisa:On Instagram @Organize365On FacebookOn YouTubeOrganize365.comOrganize 365 PodcastReferenced in this Episode:Rocket Fuel: The One Essential Combination That Will Get You More of What You Want from Your Business by Gino WickmanShine: How Looking Inward is the Key to Unlocking True Entrepreneurial Freedom by Gino Wickman ________________________________________________________________________________________ Say YES to joining Wendy for her:PWH Farm StaysPWH Curated France TripsInstagram: @phineaswrighthouseFacebook: Phineas Wright HouseWebsite: Phineas Wright HouseThank you for listening to the Say YES to yourself! podcast. It's Women's Month in South Africa and this episode is for the ladies! My fellow female leaders, it is time to heal our relationship with power so that we can rise up and have the influence we are here to have. In my journey as a leader, I have struggled to own my voice, take up space, stand in the spotlight with all eyes on me, and go against the grain. I've asked for permission instead of taking what is mine. And, heartbreakingly, I have coached so many C-suite women who struggle with the same thing. Imposter syndrome, low confidence and shrinking back is not our portion in life. It is our divine right to lead, to influence, and to want and have power without being shamed, judged or punished for it. In today's episode, I take us on a journey that can help us heal our relationship with power so that we can have the leadership impact and experience the freedom that we were created for. Topics discussed: * How society sets women up to distrust our own power and judges us for wanting it * What healthy power looks like and how vital it is to life * Overcoming our unhelpful beliefs and stories about being a woman with power * My story as a recovering permission-seeking, over-functioning people pleaser * A few reflection questions that can help step into more of your power -- Book a free 1x1 coaching discovery call or reach out for speaking, leadership development or culture and talent consulting for your company Clarify what you want for your career and how you want to lead with the Discover What Gives You Meaning online workshop Accelerate your career advancement with the Get Promoted online course Find me on LinkedIn and Instagram Sign up to receive my leadership letter, get discounts and early access to events Sponsor an episode

Many of us feel stuck in our difficult relationships because we can't force other people to change. When we finally accept that we are powerless over people, places, and things, we can go too far by believing we are powerless over everything else. We are not. “Power” means the ability to make something happen or to produce an effect. You can own your power to do many things. In this episode, Brandon talks about 5 channeled messages that came through on owning your power, as well as a few ways to move towards owning your power, then facilitates a full channel mode session on the topic as well. You can find timestamps, info on channeling, info on his spirit guides, as well as links to his website and other social media below. *Also, here's an extra quote on owning your power from a channeled timeless reading Brandon facilitated during a live session. "Owning your power can be NOT operating just how people want you to just because it's convenient for them. Owning your power can be making your own choices regardless of what anyone else thinks, does, chooses, judges, or is upset about.""You didn't come to Earth just to cater to people's feelings. God didn't put you on Earth just to cater to people's feelings." Of course, consider balancing this concept talked about in the quotes above with highest consciousness and your intuition, empowered kindness, (empowered kindness could be something akin to being kind, yet not being a doormat or someone people can easily take advantage of. They can't take advantage of you because you operate from highest consciousness, awareness, and intuition, and you have firm, healthy boundaries.), and operating from a place that's for the highest good of all as Source would see it (and that includes the highest good of you too, not just everyone else!) TIMESTAMPS 2:19 The Purpose of Owning Your Power (or One of Them!) 2:53 (1.) Hone Your Intuition and Divine Guidance (and Listen to It) 19:14 (2.) Be Willing to Have Abundance (Money) and Enough Power for You 25:56 (3.) Healthy Boundaries 35:05 (4.) Owning Your Value 49:05 (5.) Being (Authentically) Yourself 1:01:44 Full Channel Mode Session on Owning Your Power About The Angelic Collective of Xorbítal When asked about a name for them, Brandon's spirit guides replied, "You know we don't have names up here." to which he said, "Yeah, you're right." A few seconds later they gave him a name for them, The Angelic Collective of Xorbítal. In essence, it is a collective of his spirit guides, the angels, and Source. It very strongly features angelic energies and the angels, if you were wondering. Benefits of Listening to Channeled Material •The messages themselves •An energetic transmission from Source that works only for the highest good. This can move energies, be like a healing session, facilitate upgrades, create shifts and changes for you and your world, etc. and it only works for the highest good. •Imbibing channeled content can open your own third eye and intuition •Listening to, watching, or otherwise imbibing channeled content can open your own channeling if you're meant to channel •Potentially more!
