Macca has had 11 #1 Songs between the US and UK Charts: 'Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey' (US) 'My Love' (US) 'Band on the Run' (US) 'Listen to what the Man Said' (US) 'Silly Live Songs' (US) 'With a Little Luck' (US) 'Mull of Kintyre' (UK) 'Coming Up' (live) (US) 'Ebony and Ivory' Both 'Pipes of Peace' (UK) 'Say Say Say' (US) For fun this week Tom & Andy decided to rank these 11 based on their favourites and why. We also discuss differences between chart placements on other songs, near misses. How some songs went higher in the US (in the 70s) but in the 80s (in certain instances) Paul performed better in his native homeland. And the oft discussed "songs that weren't right for the US market" which record labels stupidly thought was important regarding songs written by Paul McCartney when it came to releasing them or pushing them. As Tom says: "It's Friggen Paul McCartney!" We know most will agree.   How do you rank Paul's #1 Singles between the US/UK? Let us know and Ram ON!

Good morning, afternoon, and/or evening! This week I’m joined by original Wings drummer Denny Seiwell to talk about his new project “Ram On”, which is a tribute to the classic McCartney album “Ram”, which Denny played on, and is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary at the moment. My other guest is M G Boulter, whose new album “Clifftown” is utterly brilliant. Matt grew up, and lives in the same area as me, and I’ve seen him play with his band The Lucky Strikes a lot over the years. He’s fantastic company; warm, eloquent, and very interesting. Matt gives us a track-by-track tour of “Clifftown” and we ponder what it means to grow up and stay put in a seaside town. I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did. Twitter: @signalspodcastInstagram: @sendingsignalspodcastmgboulter.co.ukdennyseiwell.com

A senior National Security Council official had circulated a memo proposing that the federal government either build or buy out a 5G network and operate it to protect against Chinese cyberhacking influences through telecom equipment. The White House insisted behind the scenes that the documents were "dated," but it didn't stop the internet from freaking out about the thought of a public takeover of a highly competitive private-sector investment. Governments have been wary to get into this space, especially in developed markets, partly because of cost issues, but if access to the internet is as all-important as people say, what has prevented cellular networks from becoming a public utility? • See you soon!
