FTW with Imad Khan: An Esports And Competitive Gaming Podcast
MSI 2022 is taking place in South Korea. Chinese teams such as Royal Never Give Up, or RNG, are having to play from China due to Covid restrictions. To accommodate competition, Riot has implemented a special network latency tool to keep competition fair. Ping was meant to be set at or near 35 milliseconds. But in-tournament, ping issues have cropped up and things have not gone according to plan. Dot Esports Tyler Esguerra returns to the show to break it all down.

On today's episode of the RedShirtKing Manifesto, Chase "RedShirtKing" Wassenar takes a look at Group C of the 2017 League of Legends World Championship. Within, he breaks down why Fenerbahce can't rely on baron steals to get by the main event, why Uzi hurts Royal Never Give Up as much as he helps, whether G2 has grown enough to impress on the International stage, and why the weakest Korean team is still likely to take the top spot from Group C. In Part Two of our two part League of Legends World Championship Week One breakdown podcast, Chase “RedShirtKing” Wassenar and Walter “Ceades” Fedczuk shift their attentions to Groups C and D. For Group C, they discuss whether EDG’s loss to INTZ revealed some flaws to their strategy, how much credit we should be giving AHQ for their 2-1 start, how H2k has failed to learn how to close games with their jitters on the Worlds stage, and whether INTZ still has a win left in them. For Group D, they analyze TSM’s likelihood of emerging as the top team in a very talented group, how Royal Never Give Up’s shift in playstyle has made them more dangerous, if Samsung’s organizational strengths are enough to push them through to the Quarterfinals, and whether Splyce could still play spoiler to any of these teams.
