Lucy writes: “When Michelle Smith voted for President Biden in 2020, she thought he would help people like her, a Black mother working two jobs and raising three teenage boys in North Philadelphia. Now she says she won't vote for him again, citing higher prices, skyrocketing rent and a feeling she has been left behind.” A recent New York Times/Sienna poll suggests that 22% of Black voters would likely support Donald Trump in a hypothetical rematch of the 2020 presidential race. We had an opportunity to sit down and interview Sarah Wilder and Rebekah Hren from the SEI Curriculum Team and talk about some awesome new course updates and an overview of our development processes. Multimode systems are complex energy storage systems that can operate in utility interactive or island mode – and the market for these systems is experiencing exponential growth. Whether providing backup power when the grid is down, operating in self consumption mode, or reducing peak demand charges, there are numerous use cases for PV systems with energy storage that interact with the utility grid.
