It's another rowdy episode as Jose joins the crew this week. They open up the show by talking about sharing an intimate moment with a crew member for a million dollars. Florida Man takes us to Miami with quite the spirited individual you could say. We start the Elite Eight of our Best Chips Bracket with #17 Zapp's Voodoo Chips vs. #8 Lay's Sour Cream and Onion and #15 Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili vs. #7 Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream. Go Premium! Jose is always hyped to remind the boys where they messed up live on the pod which leads to a hilarious argument. The crew rounds it up with the always-entertaining Fill in the Blank. I think we can all agree that February 2022 was a hard month. This delayed podcast comes with a lot of feelings attached after recent current events, which I'm finding hard to balance my thoughts between a fun podcast and being cognizant of what's happening in Ukraine. That said, there were three movies in February for Hallmark's Loveuary event and I managed to read five books. If The Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy may go down as one of my favorite reads this year, while Elle Cosimano nailed her follow-up Finlay Donovan Knocks Em Dead. I gave a second chance to Lia Louis' Eight Perfect Hours and I'm SO glad I did, and also read a fun valentines book The Holiday Plan by Emma Lynden. Rounding it out was The Billionaire's Wake-Up-Call Girl by Annika Martin which was a fun spicy laugh. Somehow we're going to get through these events together and come out stronger on the other side - find it all on the podcast now! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Episode 110- If The Shoe Fits
Welcome to Bachademia! We are both in Iowa this week, we both have solid internet connections and we both are ready for Thanksgiving break next week. D3, anything else we need to make sure they know we are ready for?Question of the week: If you had one veto for a city to move to, what city would be on the top of your list? On my list of cities I would totally move to - Minneapolis/St. Paul is where the crew is heading! And they start off on a 1on1. She picks Joe, isn't this a little useless? He already knows M/SP. I digress, they throw out the first pitch and go to her high school. They play basketball. Michelle says Joe would have been her high school crush, is that a good thing?Joe disclose that he had a serious injury that derailed his basketball career and it led to anxiety and depression. He even contemplated suicide. They both cried and really seemed to bond over their shared athletic experience. Their connection seems way strong. Thoughts? Group date: The ultimate Viking! “Those dudes totally work at the Renaissance fare in Shakopee every fall” - Co-Host Kim. The dudes yell loud, threw a tree stump, ate fermented fish, and arm wrestled. D3 which of these events would you excel at? No surprise, Clayton (that young, strapping, square jawed football player) dominates the competition. So, they get some 1on1 time. They talk about their love of family...all I could think is how Clayton may just be a robot made of the mean of every country song ever made after 2000. Thoughts on their connection?Chris - was annoying and complained he didn't get any time with Michelle. He is spiraling...I am here for it. Danielle, any insights into his downward trajectory?Nayte gets a 1on1 and meets Michelle's friends on a boat on a lake. So, that is way Minnesota. They talk about not being able to be themselves in relationships and being in toxic relationships. Danielle, thoughts on how previous relationships impact current and future relationships? Any insights? Then Chris interrupts and warns Michelle not to make the wrong decisions and that she is being played. Michelle said she was caught off guard by Chris's speech the other night. Chris said she was being “fake” to him during the group date. Michelle was at this point done and told Chris she didn't need a man to speak for her and that it was over (America stands up and cheers) Farewell Chris, parting thoughts?Cocktail party - Michelle has positive interactions with Rick, Brandon, and RodneyShe has a really awkward conversation with Martin. He goes off on Miami girls being high maintenance and Michelle challenges him. Danielle what are you seeing communication-wise here? Martin seemed to think it was a misunderstanding. He even went and told the guys as much.Roses go to: Rick Olu, Brandon and Rodney. Casey and Leroy go home. So who is left? Rick, Olu, Brandon, Rodney, Clayton, Nayte, Martin and JoeWho is your front runner? Who is your dark horse? Lessons learned? Next week Bill will be in Ireland, so it will be co-host Kim, Danielle and maybe another special guest. Shoutouts?Rate us on Apple Podcast and you could win a custom tie-dye by Mother in-law Sue!

Have you ever imagined what your favorite Disney princess would be like if her story was written in the present day? You no longer need to wonder! Julie Murphy, author and a New York Times bestseller, and I sat down to chat about her newly released book, If The Shoe Fits. Julie is the author and mind behind, If The Shoe Fits, a Meant to Be novel. It is the modern day tale of Cinderella from @DisneyBooks. About the Guest: Author, Julie Murphy lives in North Texas with her husband who loves her, her dog who adores her, and her cats who tolerate her. After several wonderful years in the library world, Julie now writes full-time. When she's not writing or reliving her reference desk glory days, she can be found watching made-forTV movies, hunting for the perfect slice of cheese pizza, and planning her next great travel adventure. She is also the #1 New York Times bestselling author of novels for young people including Dumplin' (now a film on Netflix), Puddin', Ramona Blue, Faith Taking Flight, Side Effects May Vary, and Dear Sweet Pea. IF THE SHOE FITS is the first title in the new adult series, Meant To Be. Books designed to reimagine some of Disney's best-known narrative works by publishing new versions written by diverse talent. http://www.imjuliemurphy.com/ https://www.instagram.com/andimjulie/ https://twitter.com/andimJULIE https://www.pinterest.com/andimjulie/ https://www.facebook.com/juliemurphywrites About the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full time job. As a busy mom of three, a wife to a traveling hubby, and keeping it weird in Austin, Texas, it's safe to say that my life is never boring. In addition to running my coaching business as C'N'C's CEO, I'm a certified coach for a premier virtual fitness and nutrition program helping others feel better while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. My mom and dad are thrilled that I'm putting my Exercise Science degree to good use. Along with my experience training pro athletes, S.W.A.T. members, and a high school football team, I gained 10+ years experience as the Director of Marketing building multiple court reporting companies. Lastly, I am a published writer, Content Coordinator, and Account Executive for a publication by Best Version Media. They even gave me a monthly “How to” column where I teach others how to be more self-sufficient with common household tasks. Every woman should know how their home functions and what to do if something malfunctions, man or no man. With my husband on the road, searching “How To” on the internet has transformed me into a “Mommy MacGyver”. “I don't know how you have the time.” “You're like a Supermom!” These are common things that people say, but the truth is that life hasn't always been easy or pretty. Even with the bumps, I always try to find the humor in everything because laughter is good for the soul and you should never take life too seriously….where's the fun in that? www.chaosncookies.com https://www.instagram.com/heathersteinker https://www.facebook.com/heathersteinker https://linktr.ee/hsteinker https://chaosncookies.com/shop Thanks for listening!
