I think we can all agree that February 2022 was a hard month. This delayed podcast comes with a lot of feelings attached after recent current events, which I'm finding hard to balance my thoughts between a fun podcast and being cognizant of what's happening in Ukraine. That said, there were three movies in February for Hallmark's Loveuary event and I managed to read five books. If The Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy may go down as one of my favorite reads this year, while Elle Cosimano nailed her follow-up Finlay Donovan Knocks Em Dead. I gave a second chance to Lia Louis' Eight Perfect Hours and I'm SO glad I did, and also read a fun valentines book The Holiday Plan by Emma Lynden. Rounding it out was The Billionaire's Wake-Up-Call Girl by Annika Martin which was a fun spicy laugh. Somehow we're going to get through these events together and come out stronger on the other side - find it all on the podcast now! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Episode 110- If The Shoe Fits
Welcome to Bachademia! We are both in Iowa this week, we both have solid internet connections and we both are ready for Thanksgiving break next week. D3, anything else we need to make sure they know we are ready for?Question of the week: If you had one veto for a city to move to, what city would be on the top of your list? On my list of cities I would totally move to - Minneapolis/St. Paul is where the crew is heading! And they start off on a 1on1. She picks Joe, isn't this a little useless? He already knows M/SP. I digress, they throw out the first pitch and go to her high school. They play basketball. Michelle says Joe would have been her high school crush, is that a good thing?Joe disclose that he had a serious injury that derailed his basketball career and it led to anxiety and depression. He even contemplated suicide. They both cried and really seemed to bond over their shared athletic experience. Their connection seems way strong. Thoughts? Group date: The ultimate Viking! “Those dudes totally work at the Renaissance fare in Shakopee every fall” - Co-Host Kim. The dudes yell loud, threw a tree stump, ate fermented fish, and arm wrestled. D3 which of these events would you excel at? No surprise, Clayton (that young, strapping, square jawed football player) dominates the competition. So, they get some 1on1 time. They talk about their love of family...all I could think is how Clayton may just be a robot made of the mean of every country song ever made after 2000. Thoughts on their connection?Chris - was annoying and complained he didn't get any time with Michelle. He is spiraling...I am here for it. Danielle, any insights into his downward trajectory?Nayte gets a 1on1 and meets Michelle's friends on a boat on a lake. So, that is way Minnesota. They talk about not being able to be themselves in relationships and being in toxic relationships. Danielle, thoughts on how previous relationships impact current and future relationships? Any insights? Then Chris interrupts and warns Michelle not to make the wrong decisions and that she is being played. Michelle said she was caught off guard by Chris's speech the other night. Chris said she was being “fake” to him during the group date. Michelle was at this point done and told Chris she didn't need a man to speak for her and that it was over (America stands up and cheers) Farewell Chris, parting thoughts?Cocktail party - Michelle has positive interactions with Rick, Brandon, and RodneyShe has a really awkward conversation with Martin. He goes off on Miami girls being high maintenance and Michelle challenges him. Danielle what are you seeing communication-wise here? Martin seemed to think it was a misunderstanding. He even went and told the guys as much.Roses go to: Rick Olu, Brandon and Rodney. Casey and Leroy go home. So who is left? Rick, Olu, Brandon, Rodney, Clayton, Nayte, Martin and JoeWho is your front runner? Who is your dark horse? Lessons learned? Next week Bill will be in Ireland, so it will be co-host Kim, Danielle and maybe another special guest. Shoutouts?Rate us on Apple Podcast and you could win a custom tie-dye by Mother in-law Sue!

With Cinderella back in the news because of Amazon Prime's upcoming adaptation, Candace, Bri, and Arezou break down what they consider the best Cinderella adaptations. Is Ella Enchanted a good movie even if it's nothing like the book? Is Ever After the best Cinderella movie ever? Which movie did Arezou have a life-size poster of? All these questions and more are answered. The only one they couldn't figure out is why the team behind "Another Cinderella Story" paired underage Selena Gomez with a much older romantic lead... Have you ever imagined what your favorite Disney princess would be like if her story was written in the present day? You no longer need to wonder! Julie Murphy, author and a New York Times bestseller, and I sat down to chat about her newly released book, If The Shoe Fits. Julie is the author and mind behind, If The Shoe Fits, a Meant to Be novel. It is the modern day tale of Cinderella from @DisneyBooks. About the Guest: Author, Julie Murphy lives in North Texas with her husband who loves her, her dog who adores her, and her cats who tolerate her. After several wonderful years in the library world, Julie now writes full-time. When she's not writing or reliving her reference desk glory days, she can be found watching made-forTV movies, hunting for the perfect slice of cheese pizza, and planning her next great travel adventure. She is also the #1 New York Times bestselling author of novels for young people including Dumplin' (now a film on Netflix), Puddin', Ramona Blue, Faith Taking Flight, Side Effects May Vary, and Dear Sweet Pea. IF THE SHOE FITS is the first title in the new adult series, Meant To Be. Books designed to reimagine some of Disney's best-known narrative works by publishing new versions written by diverse talent. http://www.imjuliemurphy.com/ https://www.instagram.com/andimjulie/ https://twitter.com/andimJULIE https://www.pinterest.com/andimjulie/ https://www.facebook.com/juliemurphywrites About the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full time job. As a busy mom of three, a wife to a traveling hubby, and keeping it weird in Austin, Texas, it's safe to say that my life is never boring. In addition to running my coaching business as C'N'C's CEO, I'm a certified coach for a premier virtual fitness and nutrition program helping others feel better while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. My mom and dad are thrilled that I'm putting my Exercise Science degree to good use. Along with my experience training pro athletes, S.W.A.T. members, and a high school football team, I gained 10+ years experience as the Director of Marketing building multiple court reporting companies. Lastly, I am a published writer, Content Coordinator, and Account Executive for a publication by Best Version Media. They even gave me a monthly “How to” column where I teach others how to be more self-sufficient with common household tasks. Every woman should know how their home functions and what to do if something malfunctions, man or no man. With my husband on the road, searching “How To” on the internet has transformed me into a “Mommy MacGyver”. “I don't know how you have the time.” “You're like a Supermom!” These are common things that people say, but the truth is that life hasn't always been easy or pretty. After a year hiatus WE. ARE. BACK. Nicky P and I caught up shortly after the release of his first album, If The Shoe Fits, in November. We took the time to discuss what got Nicky P into the rap game. We discuss what fuels his fire and what his expectations are for his album. Nicky P is creating an aura around shoes...whether it be Two Shoes, If The Shoe Fits or any other play on words for that matter. This comes from a nickname he received a year or so ago in corporate America. Nicky P is versatile, lyrical and has some solid beats, this is what drew me into his music and why I wanted to share his story with you all.Nicky P is an artist I truly believe in and hope him all the best in this Endeavor. In this episode, we compare (arguably) the best Wes Anderson movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and find that it is very similar to the lazy made-for-TV Cinderella story, If The Shoe Fits. We also do a recap on the career of Jennifer Grey (including some sweet hot goss), we talk about why Wes Anderson is one of the best comedy film directors ever, and we also talk about, like, the nature of time, man. In honor of Sweetie's 37th birthday last week, we covered one of her favorite TV films from the 90s of all time ... If The Shoe Fits! Starring Jennifer Grey and Rob Lowe, who must have been searching for a paycheck in a lull year when they signed up for this one. It's been said that to truly understand someone you have to walk a mile in their shoes. Where they've been. What they've been through. Where they're going. When we do, we will see we are more alike than we thought. We kick off a new series "If The Shoe Fits". We will be walking through the life of Abraham and discovering we have more in common than we might think. First up is a look at 'Close Encounters of the Divine Kind' looking at when God crossed paths with Abraham.
You've been waiting for it: Ronnie and Jazz talk shit about Martin Luther King Jr. Er, wait, no, start again. You've been waiting for it: Episode of 50 of Deliver The Profile! It's a lavish affair; Jazz is drinking a beer and Ronnie is drinking tap water. "If The Shoe Fits" is about a woman whose engagement with fantasy turns homicidal, but this isn't about someone who compares Hillary Clinton to Game of Thrones characters. It's a miracle the two manage to create nearly 2 hours of entertainment from what is known as a "J.J. spotlight episode". Also: Ronnie finally gets to discuss Single White Female's best kill.

The disciples watched Jesus minister to many people over the years. They knew He came to take care of others. But on this Passover they realized He came to minister to them. His hands on their feet spoke volumes. They didn't all respond the same.
Some people are always looking for something better than what they have. Contentment never remains. They are restless souls...always ready to wander and find the next great thing. Andrew was searching too.
These sisters had expectations of Jesus when their brother got very sick. In their minds, He came too late. Many people today have expectations of God/Jesus as well. He ministers to us in the midst of our expectations
Ashamed, guilty, unloved, worthless - Jesus stooped down to this woman to begin communicating what he could bring into her life.
As an army leader, this centurion was used to being in charge. He understood how to give orders and expected them to be carried out. But something about Jesus elicited a different response from this man.
Nicodemus was an analytical, scholarly type who came from a family of high achievers. Even with his educational, political, and spiritual accomplishments, he felt empty. He came to Jesus to have his questions answered, but left that night with far more.
The message below was preached by Rob Willey, Senior Pastor at Harvest Bible Chapel Davenport, on September 15-16th, 2012. The message came from Isaiah 1, and was titled “If The Shoe Fitsâ€.
THE HAUNTING HOUR:The shows are classic chills from the old school, with creepy organ, overwrought women and over the top men. Perhaps not the highest of melodrama, but obsessively workmanlike. After all, they might have known they were a skeleton staff toiling relentlessly without a ghost of a chance of fame. Thanks to transcription, these unknowns are still with us. John Dunning, succinctly states in "On the Air, The Encyclopedia of Old Time Radio," "There were no credits, so casts and production crews are unknown."THIS EPISODE:Program #6. NBC syndication, WRVR-FM, New York aircheck. "If The Shoe Fits". Sustaining. Syndicated rebroadcast date: October 25, 1974. . 28:00.
