In this empowering episode, we dive into one of the most common fears holding ambitious riders back: the fear of not seeing a distance, and what it really means when you're scared to step up a level. Whether you're hovering at 1.10m and terrified of even thinking about 1.15m, or constantly waiting to feel "ready" before pushing yourself forward, this conversation is for you. We unpack: Why fear of failure (and not fear of injury) is usually what's really holding you back The illusion of perfection, and how chasing it keeps you stuck What to do when fear is real (like after a fall), and how to work through it safely The mindset shift from “Ready, Aim, Fire” to “Fire, Aim, Ready” Why confidence is not a precondition to action, it's a result of taking it

Then, with the lightweight title vacant, in steps Ilia Topuria to take on Charles Oliveira at International Fight Week… With Topuria being a heavy favorite, why are people overlooking Do Bronx ahead of this fight? The Marines barely had time to catch their breath after Kwajalein before their attention shifted northwest to Enewetak Atoll. Four islands in particular stood as crucial targets, heavily defended by thousands of Japanese troops racing to build defenses strong enough to repel any invasion. Initially, commanders planned the attack for months later, but fresh aerial reconnaissance and captured enemy maps showed that waiting would only strengthen Japanese defenses. With detailed intelligence and thousands of battle-tested Marines at their disposal, commanders swiftly made their decision: hit Enewetak immediately. As Marines stormed beaches through heavy naval bombardment and air strikes, they quickly realized they'd underestimated the enemy strength—setting the stage for one of their toughest fights yet in the Pacific. ************* Visit HistoryoftheMarineCorps.com to subscribe to our newsletter, explore episode notes and images, and see our references. The Spokesman-Review's Jim Meehan and former Zag/TV Sportscaster Richard Fox talk about all things GU men's basketball. The GU Bulldogs have x2 in the win column over San Diego and Washington State. Gonzaga was ranked 18th in the AP Poll and had moved up to 10th in the NET rankings. Fox and Meehan also discussed the flu that was affecting the team, with several players missing games due to illness.Overcoming the challenges, the team managed to win against San Diego, with Ben Gregg having one of his best games of the year. In the game against Washington State, Nolan Hickman stepped up when Ryan Nemhard went to the bench with foul trouble in the first half. Hickman ran the point guard position effectively, controlling the offense without many turnovers.Despite giving up size to Washington State's players, Gonzaga defended well against their interior scoring threats. After trailing early, Gonzaga took control in the second half behind efficient scoring from Hickman and adjustments to exploit mismatches on the offensive end. Upcoming games against Oregon State and Santa Clara. Jim noted that Oregon State has a strong record and a similar shooting percentage to Gonzaga
