We've once again assembled our panel of experts, including long-time cycling enthusiasts, Chris and Will Beyer along with former professional cyclist and organizer of the Tour of America's Dairyland, Tom Schuler. Notably absent this year is Mitch Teich- we wish Mitch a speedy recovery after suffering a nasty ankle injury the night before our podcast. This year, our panel tackles topics like, what do they think about the tour visiting countries other than France? Does the tour need to do more innovation to stay relevant? How do they feel about this year's final day time trial? How ready are the riders affected by the crash in the Tour of Basque Country? Who are the strongest teams? Of course, as always, there's much, much more!

The guys present their opinions about the potential of reducing the length of the Tour of Italy and Tour of Spain to 2 weeks, and discuss the pros and cons of decreasing rest days. They also talk about the strength and dominance of Tadej Pogacar, the possibility of a triple crown, the Olympics and other thoughts on his potential strategies for the rest of the year. Of course we wrap things up with predictions. All that and much, much more! Enjoy!

I'm certain you have heard of the cyclist, Lance Armstrong. There is also a good chance you have heard of former Tour de France winner, Greg Lemond. But do you know the history of American professional cycling in Europe before Lemond? This consolidated episode features American cycling pioneer Tom Schuler.
In episode 26 of the Tour de Todd Cycling Podcast I spoke with Andrew Frey. He's one of the managing directors of The Tour of America's Dairyland racing series in Southeast Wisconsin. The bike racing series started in 2009. Bill Ochowicz and Tom Schuler, put together five-days of racing. Since then the series has grown to 11 days in 11 different communities. Frey says each year they have nearly 1,100 athletes pro and amateur from 40 U.S. states and 15 countries. This race has truly become one of the most popular racing series in the U.S. Not only did I speak with Frey about TOAD but also about his time running the Astellas professional cycling team that featured Australian Clay Murfet, Justin Williams, currently with Legion, and Adam Myerson.

Concrete is all around us: we use it to build our roads, buildings, bridges and much more. Yet over the last 2,000 years, the art of mixing cement and using it to bind concrete hasn't changed very much -- and it remains one of the world's biggest emitters of carbon. Entrepreneur Tom Schuler previews an innovative way to create concrete, potentially turning it into a carbon sink that traps CO2 from the atmosphere -- while producing a viable building material.
Concrete is everywhere. But have you ever looked at the sidewalk and wondered how it was made? How much water was used in the manufacturing process? No? Well, after today you will. This week on You Should Know This, I sit down with Tom Schuler, the President and CEO of Solidia, a sustainable concrete and cement company. Spearheading a digital sustainable revolution in the industry, Solidia is answering their client's call for truly greener processes when it comes to both cement and concrete. We discuss what digital sustainability looks like, how the industry has been impacted by COVID-19 and more. Learn more about Solidia: https://www.solidiatech.com
