On this episode of Wife of Crime I'm telling Russ about the mysterious disappearance of Trevor Deely. Trevor was a 22 year old guy with his whole life ahead of him. He recently started a career in finance and after hanging out with coworkers for a holiday party he walked home in the pouring rain. He was last seen on CCTV footage that night BUT he wasn't alone... After 24 years the question still remains, who is the man in black?? Moral of this story...somebody, somewhere definitely knows something. Mark Deely, Trevor's brother.
1) Trevor Deely, a 22-year-old Irishman, disappeared in Dublin on December 8, 2000. He was last seen on CCTV outside his workplace, interacting with an unidentified man dressed in black, raising suspicions about his disappearance. The involvement of this man in black in his disappearance remains a significant question. Despite extensive searches and theories ranging from drowning to foul play, no definitive answers have been found.2) Steven MacKrell was last seen on July 30, 2015, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after a night out with friends at Lucky's Tavern. He left the bar around 1:30 am to meet his friends at a nearby Walgreens but never arrived. The next day, when he failed to show up for work, his family reported him missing. Surveillance footage revealed that Steven had used his credit card at a gas station in Pompano Beach about an hour after leaving the bar, where he appeared intoxicated and had an altercation with occupants of a silver car. Despite extensive searches, including sonar scans of waterways, Steven's fate remains unknown. Theories range from a possible accident or drowning to the involvement of foul play, with the identities of the individuals in the silver car remaining a key mystery in the case.Contact us at: weeknightmysteries@gmail.comYou can also follow us on our social media accounts:✔️ Instagram ➤ https://www.instagram.com/weeknightmysteries✔️ Twitter ➤ https://twitter.com/wnmysteries✔️ Facebook ➤ https://www.facebook.com/weeknightmysteries/✔️ Website ➤ https://weeknightmysteries.buzzsprout.com
In the early morning hours of Friday, December 8, 2000, the streets of Dublin, Ireland were rainy, cold, and quiet. 22-year-old Trevor Deely was making his way home after a night out with colleagues at their company Christmas party. Trevor was in a great mood and probably looking forward to a few hours of sleep before heading into his office at the Bank of Ireland. The next morning, however, Trevor's desk sat empty. Knowing it had been a late night for the normally exemplary employee, his boss gave him a pass for not showing up. It wouldn't be until he failed to show up the following Monday that people in Trevor's life would realize that something horrible had happened. Now, over two decades later, his family is still actively searching for Trevor, and a mysterious man in black may have the answers that everyone has been looking for.Anyone with information on the disappearance of Trevor Deely is asked to contact Pearse Street Garda Station 01 6669000 or Crimestoppers 1800 250 025. Today, we're covering 3 chilling disappearances caught on CCTV that can't be explained. Years later, all 3 cold cases remain unsolved mysteries. All of these missing people were caught on camera just moments before they disappeared, but unfortunately, the footage didn't lend enough clues for investigators to solve the cases. Will these missing persons cases ever be solved? What caused Andrew Gosden, Trevor Deely, and Brian Shaffer to completely vanish without a trace? In all 3 cases, the only clue left behind was the CCTV footage that captured their final moments on camera. Internet sleuths and detectives alike have remained baffled for years, coming up with many theories to attempt to explain their disappearances.
