Young, beautiful, and smart, she was a 23-year-old college student and scholarship runner at Eastern Kentucky University. She was about to start her fifth and final year and was very close to graduating. She was spending the summer living with her older brother Nick in Indianapolis, Indiana, taking some summer classes at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) when she went missing on July 6, 2004. She seemingly vanished without a trace after attending a party at her Westlake apartment complex and leaving with a man named John E. Shelton. More than twenty years later, neither she nor her remains have ever been found. No suspects have ever been officially charged with her disappearance. Her family still misses her terribly and, at the very least, just wants closure. This is the story of Molly Dattilo. On the last day of September 2020, she Ubered from her hotel in the Financial District of San Francisco to the Golden Gate Bridge for an early morning jog. Even though the bridge was busy with other runners and walkers, surveillance cameras showed her disappear into the fog. She has never been seen again. The police deemed it a suicide. On August 22,1993, a 16-year-old Indigenous girl from Hilo, Hawaii went out with a man she had met earlier in the day and never came home. He and two other men drugged her, sexually assaulted her and beat her. They drove her to a nearby state park and tossed her off a 20-foot cliff. But despite all this, when her family reported her missing, police wrote her off as a runaway teen. Years later, one of her killers confessed to her grisly murder and the torture she was put through. But her body has never been found. Her family has never been given the closure they need and deserve. This is the story of Sequoya Vargas . On a bitterly cold December morning in 2006, a man was walking his dog in a local park in Quebec, Canada when he found a 27-year-old pregnant woman, Kelly Morriseau lying naked in a pool of blood, barely clinging to life. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital, but she died shortly after arriving. Her murderer has never been caught. On an unseasonably chilly morning of June 3, 1990, a man tapped on the door of an unfamiliar car parked in front of his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Through the window, he could see a blonde woman in the passenger seat slumped over toward the driver's side of the car. He assumed she was drunk and passed out, but when he opened the car door to wake her up, he quickly realized that she was dead. Rattled, he quickly closed the door and immediately called the police. The woman was later identified as 21-year-old Beth Buege. Born and raised in Milwaukee she worked in a jewelry store and was an aspiring model. More than 30 years later, her killer has never been caught. And her family still seeks justice. 29-year-old mother, Patti Adkins, left for a week-long vacation with her boyfriend in June of 2001. More than two decades have passed and Patti still hasn't returned home. Her boyfriend at the time, who was married with children, denies having any relationship with Patti. Will Patti's family be able to bring her home, and will the person responsible ever be brought to justice? At the time of her disappearance, Patti was last seen wearing steel-toe sneakers, an all white Honda work uniform consisting of pants and a long-sleeved shirt with two red outlined patches on the upper chest. One patch says, “Patti” and the other says, “Honda of America”. Patti had blonde hair and hazel eyes, with pierced ears and navel. She had a tattoo of a flower design on her lower middle back of three different colored orchids. She was and 120 pounds. Today, Patti would be 52 years old. On the night of December 3rd, 2022, 27-year-old Gretchen Fleming left My Way, a popular bar in Parkersburg, West Virginia with a much older man she had never met before that night. She has never been seen since. The man's home was searched. The surrounding area was canvassed. But Gretchen has never been found and the police have never made an arrest in the case. The man has never been named as a suspect, only a person of interest. He will no longer speak to authorities. Gretchen's family still holds out hope for her safe return. The Salem Witch Trials that took place in the late 1600's feels like an urban legend to some, however the panic and mass hysteria was real. More than 100 people were accused of witchcraft and sorcery, with at least 20 people being executed without any real evidence against them. Unfortunately, these unsubstantiated claims that led to executions were only the beginning of hate crimes that still exist in our world today. The photo is one of the last taken before Brenda Lambert disappeared, never to be seen or heard from again. When Brenda went missing, she was 22 years old. Today she would be 54, however Christy believes that Brenda was murdered and will not be found alive. At the time of her disappearance, she was 5'2” and 110 pounds with black, curly, shoulder length hair and dark blue eyes. Brenda is of Caucasian decent. In the early morning hours of Monday, April 17th, 2023, 22-year-old Mercedes Vega was found dead in the backseat of a burning vehicle. She was a beautiful young woman with a full life ahead of her, until someone brutally tortured and murdered her.
