Each different-colored variety was planted in large groups so that it swirled and flowed like its own river with its own unique hue. 为你读英语美文 · 第503期主播：永清亲爱的朋友，你好，我是永清，在北京向你问好，欢迎收听为你读英语美文。最近，我在读史铁生的《病隙碎笔》，在他的文字里，我感受到了史铁生面对人生时的通透和豁达，也感受到了他面对疾病时的坦然和力量。 21岁时，史铁生双腿瘫痪，后来又患肾病，再后来发展到尿毒症，靠着每周3次透析维持生命。2010年12月31日，史铁生因突发脑溢血逝世，享年59岁。有一回记者问到史铁生的职业，史铁生说：“我的职业是生病，业余写一点东西。”《病隙碎笔》就是他在身患尿毒症、接受透析的间隙里开始创作的，是他充满深刻体验的人生笔记。关于生病，他这样写道：《病隙碎笔》节选作者：史铁生，翻译：永清，Vicinte生病也是生活体验之一种，甚或算得一项别开生面的游历。这游历当然是有风险，但去大河上漂流就安全吗？Being sick is also a life experience, or even a unique journey. Got some and a half shelled. I did not wish to slight any of Nature's gifts. I am partial to the peculiar and wholesome sweetness of a nut, and I think that some time is profitably spent every autumn in gathering even such as our pignuts. 为你读英语美文 · 第471期 主播：Dreamer,坐标：西安你或许不了解叙利亚诗人阿多尼斯(Adonis)，但一定在哪听过、见过他的诗句：“清晨借给我它的墨水，是要我书写黄昏；黄昏借给我它的墨水，是要我书写清晨。世界让我遍体鳞伤，但伤口长出的却是翅膀。”大家好，我是Dreamer，好久不见，我在西安的秋天为你读阿多尼斯的诗。阿多尼斯生于叙利亚，先后在黎巴嫩和巴黎生活。他在阿拉伯语诗坛的影响力可与英语世界的艾略特匹敌，也是诺奖的热门人选。他也是思想家、文学理论家、翻译家、画家。曾因为参与叙利亚社会民族主义党的活动而被判入狱6个月。他主张进行新诗改革，抗争权势和世俗，向神本主义挑战，又因为辛辣的笔触和直指死亡、存在等议题而在阿拉伯世界颇具争议。但这些都无法遮蔽他诗歌中语言的光辉。The Beginning of the name英译：Khaled MattawaMy days are her nameand the dream, when the sky spends its night inside my sadness, is her name.Premonition is her nameand the feast, when the slaughterer and the slaughtered are one, is her name.Once I sang: every rosein fatigue is her namein travel, her name.Has the road come to an end? It was very old. It smelled of hay and it smelled of manure. When other children ran home to loving parents, Ye-Ye and his brother walked along the streets looking for somewhere to sleep.
