Text us your questions for apologist and pastor Robby Lashua!Today:There is no such thing as "settled science".  By its very definition, science cannot "prove" anything.  While it can "disprove" and show something to be false, the impetus of scientific methodology is to continue to accumulate observations and then classify that new information in such a way as to produce reliable predictions which, eventually, can become hypotheses.But, science is wont to continue collecting these observations -- if it is credible science, it must never stop -- and to account for those additional observations.So, why does the US National Park Service suggest that the Grand Canyon was formed over millions of years by erosion caused by the Colorado River when there is near unanimous agreement within the US Geologic Survey that such would not be possible?  Further, why is the US Geologic Survey content in reporting that the "millions and millions of years" narrative is not supported by the Canyon's geology?  "Unconformities are gaps in the geologic record that occur when rocks or sediments are eroded away and time elapses before new deposition occurs. New sediment eventually forms new rock layers on top of the eroded surface, but there is a period of geologic time that is not represented. The Corrections union insists corrupt staffers are few and far between, and some are even forced to go down the wrong path. 14 staff from Mt Eden and Auckland South Corrections facilities have been arrested. A dozen are charged with accepting bribes, and others with conspiring to supply a Class A drug —namely methamphetamine— to prisoners. Corrections Association President Floyd du Plessis told Mike Hosking it's not the norm, but in the past, some staff have been coerced by people who monitor their behaviour and learn about their personal lives. The Cook Political Report has shifted four Senate races toward Democrats, making a Democratic Senate majority a real possibility this fall. With seats in Maine, Ohio, Alaska, North Carolina, and Iowa now in play, the math is moving in Democrats' favor, and the stakes could not be higher when it comes to blocking Supreme Court picks and shutting down Trump's judicial appointments. Eric Swalwell is done. His accusers sat down with Nora O'Donnell on CBS Mornings in their first on-camera interview, detailing a years-long pattern of grooming, manipulation, and coercion targeting young staffers. Swalwell denied sexual assault but left nearly every other allegation unanswered, and he is now under criminal investigation in New York. Attorney Cheyenne Hunt helped these women connect and come forward, and more accusers continue to emerge. Viktor Orban lost his grip on Hungary, replaced by Peter Magyar, who is already signaling that Orban's use of Hungarian state funds to support CPAC may have been criminal. On CNBC, Joe Kernan invited Rand Paul to discuss ICE's use of administrative warrants in place of judicial warrants to enter homes without a judge's signature, a direct violation of Fourth Amendment protections that apply to everyone on U.S. soil regardless of immigration status. In the 80's and 90's eight women living in Massachusetts had murdered their abusive partners. Most had claimed "Battered Woman Syndrome" as their defense. This lowered many of their charges from murder to manslaughter. In the 1990's these women, after all meeting at a prison domestic abuse support group, petitioned the court for an early release. Most were granted. Only one of these eight women however, was LGBTQ. Her name, Debra Reid. Debra had to fight extra hard because it was incredulous to everyone else how a lesbian could suffer battered woman syndrome. This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.  President Trump took to social media yesterday to respond to the offensively false narrative pushed out by Xi Jinping and his friends in the emerging “Beijing Bloc” about the Chinese Communist Party's pivotal role in defeating Imperial Japan.  In fact, while the U.S. military decisively helped the people of China and their nationalist government fight the Japanese at tremendous cost during World War II, the CCP was almost completely AWOL. Mr. Trump also correctly observed that Xi was using meetings with his despotic Russian and North Korean counterparts to “conspire” against the United States. The question is: Will that conspiracy result in more of the “strategic arson” the Chinese dictator and his allies have perpetrated to date in Ukraine and the Mideast – presumably next in Asia?  We're on notice that Xi's regime is our enemy.
