In November 2020, a few of his closest friends confronted Kristian about his alcoholism. What had started as a crutch/escape from stress and difficult emotions had developed into an addiction and was out of control. Dr. Crawford Loritts leads us through 2 Corinthians 9 and we see that generosity and sacrifice are God's disposition towards us and, therefore, our giving is a picture of the Gospel. We learn that generosity is a product of our gratitude for the mercy God has shown us. Dr. Loritts also teaches us that the pathway to our provision is through generosity. It not only honors God and those around us but it changes the fabric of who we are. We give, not to get in return, but so that we may be given more to share through generosity.

Pastor Louie Giglio unpacks the potential of the Above+ Beyond season for us as a House. This year has been one of exponential growth around Passion City Church: more death-to-life moments than we have ever seen, the highest number of celebrations in baptism, and more discipleship offered through the different ministries of our House than we could have ever imagined. As we've grown, God has given us the grace to stretch our curtain wide. But, to keep stretching, we have a clear call to deepen our stakes and step into the life of Generosity God has called each of us to.

It is by faith we follow God and Abraham was a perfect example of this. Pastor Dan Watson walks us through Hebrews 11, showing us that Abraham understood the power of knowing God's voice despite not being raised to know who God was. Today we continue our week on Jesus's High Priestly prayer by exploring the topic of sanctification. What does it mean to be in the world but not of the world? What does sanctification look like played out in our lives practically? Often the concept of being sanctified is daunting and a bit intimidating.
