With a focus on vinyl releases, for the collectors, Spandau20 has lately also focused on its label nights, with showcases at Fabric, Bassiani and many others. The label's 10th release features 10 tracks that epitomise the musical diversity of Spandau20 and the progressive musical mindset of its roster, calling on the label favourites and Spandau natives to deliver brand new and exciting music. This special release even features one track that all artists have worked on together: ‘Come Closer', a swarming, slithering beginning featured as the VA's opener. Its barely coherent female vocal echoing amidst a cacophony of demon-like effects. The chilling ambience captured at the offset transcends into the first full length track by Elli Acula, ‘Floating Eyes', a cur characterised by an authoritative, pounding bass featuring calculated percussive rolls and metallic overtones to make for a face-scrunching opener to this devilish collection of works. FJAAK follow for the first of twin cameo appearances, partnering up with fellow live supremo and hardware aficionado KiNK. On ‘Overbridge' the trio deliver a cavernous, rolling number driven by a deep thrumming bass in addition to a razor-edged lead synth, and pulsating technopattern. Dajusch is known for incorporating his years of classical study in with his immersive musical style – and with his VA effort the Berlin native neatly showcases this. Easing the energy slightly, ‘Move' escalates from its warm, melodic intro into rumbling goliath of a beat comprising a looping, slew of gassy harmonics. The momentum of the release shifts considerably with the introduction of acutely versatile producer, DJ and sound artist Claus. The artist from Spandau leans his track ‘Bloomscroll' towards sparse, dubby sonics in which he intricately ties together to form churning, burgeoning soundscape. FJAAK jolt proceedings back into the techno groove with their signature blend of arresting sub-bass and reverberating rhythms, which come thick, fast and heavy on ‘Jackfruit'. The abstract wonder of Anna Z's broken-beat like stylings is fully explored on ‘Icy Liq'. It's outlandish and amorphous in its execution, causing a clattering percussive chaos that's choicely pieced together by the modular-extraordinaire. Nikk stealthy moves into breaks territory with his track ‘Down In The Shadows', packing a trap-like snare with an acid-flecked melody and dawn-breaking, dream-like textures. The penultimate track on the VA is ‘Tufted'. J.Manuel expertly employs a chorus of robot-like sonics that course through a short-circuiting low-end to produce a pacy, inescapable journey via a whirling, merciless beat. He is joined by the legendary producer Tobi Neumann for their menacingly ambient number titled ‘Fennec.' In parts a nod to UK dubstep, the duo concocts a fierce admixture of styles bolstering tribal-like components with industrialised overtones and methodically crafted drum-fills.

What are the common problems women in particular face when it comes to orgasms, and what are some of the top tips for overcoming these challenges? What if someone has never had an orgasm? Why is masturbation a pivotal place to start and how can someone develop a helpful masturbation practice? And how do sex toys - both solo and partnered - fit into all of this? About our guest: Charlene Douglas is the author of Come Closer: Everything You Ever Wanted to Ask a Sex and Relationship Therapist and is the UK's leading Sex and Intimacy Expert. She can be seen on the hugely popular Married at First Sight UK, Ch4 imparting her highly sought after knowledge and advice to the newlyweds. She is also on screen relationship advisor on the hilarious Jon and Lucy's Odd Couples, and has appeared on The Sex Clinic, Good Morning Britain, Steph's Packed Lunch and TOWIE. Charlene is an experienced sex therapy counselor, relationship expert and life coach. Her ambition is to help others to enjoy the very essence of who they are and to experience a deeper level of intimacy with themselves and others. Charlene runs her own private practice where she works with both individuals and couples to help them to learn, understand and develop a better, more fulfilling sexual relationship. Her work helps clients unpack what is happening in their mind and what is causing their body to respond the way it does to sex and intimacy. Charlene has a passion for educating young people which was first realized whilst working for a youth organization in 2010. She started teaching about healthy relationships and answering every possible question on sexual health thrown at her by the young people. This led her to embark on a career in counseling and coaching, with a particular focus on sex and relationships. Charlene went onto get her Psychodynamic counseling and Psychosexual qualifications and since then, she has specialized in working with women to help them connect with themselves and their partners, to understand and enjoy intimacy and to seek pleasure. She is an advocate for self-care, managing stress and anxiety, setting boundaries, communicating our needs clearly and prioritizing self.   She is passionate about making sex a less taboo subject to ensure people of all ages are educated on safe, consensual, pleasurable sex and healthy relationships. Through her media work Charlene hopes to encourage open communication between partners, work colleagues, friends and family. Off screen and outside of her practice, Charlene regularly speaks as an expert at panel events, keynote speaking engagements and for corporate workshops. Her talks and discussions range from sharing her journey as a black woman running her own business, fostering healthy relationships at work and in our personal lives and running corporate sessions to support managers to foster an environment where their teams can thrive in the workplace. Charlene has featured on many notable podcasts as an expert guest including Nearly Weds, Pressed BBC Sounds Podcast, Vicky Pattison: The Secret to, The Referral with Dr Karan, Things I Wish my Mum Told me and many more. To learn more go to https://www.theintimacycoachuk.com Come to our Shameless Sex Couple's Retreat in Costa Rica! Like Jesus' own kin, we are cursed by familiarity. We know who Jesus is with our heads, but for some reason the wonder of our hearts has been transformed into apathy. We begin to believe the devil when he asks if God really said, or if God can really handle our situations in life, or if he can really act. This only leads us to become apathetic toward our struggle against the vices and false promises the world offers. But it only makes our faith shrink more. Jesus marvels at our lack of faith, but that isn't his final or greatest feeling toward us. Instead, he invites us to come closer to him; to let him come through the door of our hearts after he's knocked. What if we actually invited the Lord into those places that have hurt us the most? He promises to dwell there with us, and in his own beautiful way, he'll either take the thorn away from our flesh or he'll teach us through the pain a more beautiful lesson, if only we'll let him. Could we, with the centurion and with our blessed Mother Mary, begin to pray “Say the word Lord and I shall be healed.” “Let it be unto me according to your word.”

Sometimes we just need a reminder that things with God are simple, and the weight of our experiencing God is not on us or dependent upon our ability to be spiritual. Jesus wants to remind us today of how he is pursuing our hearts in this life, and all we need to do is say yes. May you find God today as you open your heart to him, and experience the rest that his presence brings. Our Scripture for today comes from 1 John 4:19, and today's worship is Come Closer by Mark & Sarah Tilman.  Thank you so much for listening to today's podcast.  Across all our platforms we're taking time today to give our readers and listeners a way to support this space for God's presence. Resources like this daily devotional are funded entirely by our readers. So if God has been moving in your life, and in the lives of others around you, consider supporting First15 today so we can put this resource in the hands of someone else just like you.  Go to supportfirst15.org to give today to First15 today  Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.
