    I Declare???

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 10:01

When we pray, we ask God to perform miracles in our lives or the lives of those we love and may not even know. And we don't know if those prayers will be answered, no matter how many times we pray about it. We also pray for knowledge, strength, courage, health, encouragement. We pray for these things. We ask our Father. We ask. This doesn't mean these things will be answered. God's will isn't always lined up with what we want or need, or what we think we want or need, whether for ourselves or for others. He knows what is best, and he knows where everything will end up. Not all prayers are meant to be answered, not all lives are meant to be saved, and not all illness meant to be cured. Death and Illness may be a terrible thing for those that receive it, but God knows how it will impact another according to his purpose And all is done in his glory. This life that we have isn't about us, it's about Him, the creator. We are here for Him and if not for Him, we would not be.We are nothing but a speck of sand on a beach and our life is no more than a vapor, here one moment and gone the next. Nobody owes you anything, and especially not God, but we owe Him everything, we owe Him our life.I say these things to say this. The declare and decree movement must stop. You do not have authority to declare anything that is to be, only what is. You do not give orders to the creator but follow them. You do not expect anything but be thankful for everything and be humble. This movement is not biblical, it's just more proof that the people of the devil's world is yet again confused. Again mislead, misguided, misinterpreted. One scripture that people get this confusion is Job 22:28“Thou shall decree a thing and it shall be established”. That sounds very straightforward, but the question is WHO said that? It was not God. Neither was it one of the Bible authors. It was Eliphaz, one of Job's friends who was described as a miserable comforter and who was aurally rebuked by God for not speaking what was right in Job 42:7This is just one example. But the thing is that this movement is only one problem with society out of many. Between the false teachers and followers of wicked things, it makes perfect sense why Jesus said few will find the path. We are in the last days friends. It's time we take a moment and make sure we are not straying from the path that God set before us. It's time that we do not listen to people with haste, and we take it to the word. It's time we take all these things a little more serious. How many so-called Christians celebrated Valentine's Day? It's a pagan holiday. Jesus specifically said not to.Mathew 15:3 Jesus said, “and why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?”We must die to things of this world and follow Him. We walk away from not only the sins that we repented for, but the traditions of this world. We live for Christ, and when we get sucked into what the world wants, or says we should be doing, then we are living for the world, and if we are living for the world, then we are worshipping the world and the ruler of this world. Die to this world and pick up your cross daily. And only Worship our Father in Heaven Daily

    Fear "Sunday Shorts"

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 10:31

Fear is a common response to many things, whether its financial, your health, fear of a situation you're in like you found yourself in a bad neighborhood, or a conflict with a fellow motorist, or even a peaceful protest. A lot of us most recently have found fear in the world as a whole, with so many moving variables and instability of government, health systems, the rise of different groups and factions forming in the name of fascism, or freedom for that matter. And to be honest everything I just mentioned is sort of rolled up into one big ball of fear. We seem to be experiencing all of these scenarios lately. And you can certainly add the change in weather, from heat to storms to fires, not to mention the temperature of persecution, that has certainly increased. Now with the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan, not only inflicting fear to the locals, especially the Christian community, where they are literally checking cell phones for Bible apps which lead to execution. As well as rumors of alliances with the Taliban, Russia, and China, all with nuclear weapons, it certainly spreads that fear across the world. It really seams that the entire world is on walking on a tightrope, and as we watch on with breaths held, we wait to what happens next. For 100s of years we have watched situations come and go. A dispute here, a problem there, that always seems to pass and within a few days of hearing about it, we go on with our lives. It's just something we've lived with. That's not the case anymore. Just when you think things will settle like they always do, something else happens. And each time is more intense than the last. And we can barely get our breath before the next event takes place, whether it's right here in America or in some other country. But honestly, its everywhere and all the time. But of course, God knew of these things. They were written 2000 years ago.All these things we are seeing are the signs of the end as Jesus explained in Matthew 24:4-144 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.So we knew these things would happen. We didn't know that it would be in our lifetime, but it certainly is. And for those that are alert, and in the word, can see these things, and we shall not be deceived, but we are waiting for our Lord and Savior to come snatch us up. 1 Theselonians 5: 1-115 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. So do not fear, but be encouraged that the time is closer than ever that Jesus will pull us out and the world that is left behind will be judged and God will deal with them. Let me read Matthew 24:14 once again. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.Never before were we able to reach the world to preach the Gospel. Use the technology we have to tell everyone with ears to hear about Jesus Christ. Don't let a day go by where you don't make a post about salvation. If you were lost, wouldn't you want somebody to tell you? And who are you to know where salvation is and not say anything? What a thing to keep to yourself. Perhaps the most selfish thing anyone could ever do. Let me ask you this. If you walked by a 20 foot table of free food and then walked around the corner and saw a group of starving people, would you tell them about it or just keep walking? There is starving people all around you, but they are hungry for a savior. Somebody to take the fear away, someone to ease the pain, someone that will save them from an eternity of torment and agony. That someone is Jesus Christ. So tell them. Now I have a small announcement. Next month is extremely busy for me at work, and my time will be limited, so the Sunday episodes may not be as consistent, unless God puts something in my heart that I have to get out. Religion Vs. Relationship

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 75:03

Religion vs RelationshipAhh, yes you're right, and interesting question. One that was posted on a Christian Group that I follow on Facebook. Lets first look at the definition of religion.religion[rəˈlijən]NOUN1. the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods."ideas about the relationship between science and religion"synonyms:faith · belief · divinity · worship · creed · teaching · doctrine · theology · sect · cult · religious group · faith community · church · denomination · body · following · persuasion · affiliationo  a particular system of faith and worship."the world's great religions"synonyms:faith · religious belief(s) · religious persuasion · religious conviction · religious group · faith community · church · persuasion · affiliation · denomination · sect · body · following · communion · order · school · fraternity · brotherhood · sisterhoodo  a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance."consumerism is the new religion"And the definition of relationshiprelationship[rəˈlāSH(ə)nˌSHip]NOUN1. the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.o  the state of being connected by blood or marriage."they can trace their relationship to a common ancestor"synonyms:family ties · family connections · blood relationship · blood ties · kinship · affinity · consanguinity · common ancestry · common lineage · connection · propinquityo  the way in which two or more people or groups regard and behave toward each other."the landlord–tenant relationship" · [more]  So religion can not only be about worshiping God, but any gods, or even a superhuman. That is what I call a broad spectrum, and not one that I would put any amount of faith in. When you are part of a “religion” you are simply implying that you are willing to worship any sort of god, which includes idols, or even ideology. Cults are based on a religion, and we all know how scary a cult can be.A relationship however, is more intimate, more personal. And a relationship is what God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit wants with you. An ongoing, constant dialog, prayer, faith and dependance with him. Lets put it like this. You join a religion, whether it's Catholic, Baptist, whatever it is, you join, you attend church, you hear what they have to say in service and you leave. It's just that. It's an hour of participation. It's meaningless prayer and meaningless fellowship. For those of you that had gone from one of these type of churches, from choosing to be a part of a religion, to choosing to have a relationship with God, think about how different that church experience was or is. Now, when you have a relationship with Christ, where there is daily communication, meaningful prayer that isn't focused on yourself, but others. Where you put your faith in Christ in all things. Where you let him be Lord, and make all your decisions, where you put everything and everyone second to him. Where you are seeking that closeness and that personal relationship. And when you go to church, it is not a participation but a way to get closer to him, to worship him, and to have meaningful fellowship with others that feel the same way, its altogether different. When you form a relationship with God is when there is depth. That's when you feel him move inside you, that's when you think of him not weekly, not even daily, but hour by hour, minute by minute. Where every decision you make and every thought you have involves Him. Then and only then are you truly living in the vine. Then and only then will you see God working in your life. When you are one with him, you will be rewarded.

5 Ways to Remove the Temptation to Sin "Sunday Shorts"

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 5:41

5 ways to remove sin from your life When you repent, it means to have a change of mind. To turn away from the world, and towards Jesus. To live your life for him instead of the desires of the world. And when you are saved, you receive the holy spirit, and that holy spirit convicts you of your normal sinful nature. Things you use to do seem less appealing. You weep when you commit sin and ask for forgiveness. And though you have turned away from sin, you will never completely not sin. It's not possible, because nobody but God is good. But if you are truly repentant, then you certainly will try. The problem is that we live in this world, and this world is flooded with the devils temptations. He wants us to sin. Us Christians are in a battle, and with the spirit of God inside of us, we will beat the devil. Here are five ways to remove the temptation of sin from your life. 5. Remove friends from social media that post un-Christian content. For example if you have post in your feed that includes sexual content, drug use, foul language etc. Delete those people. They are not enriching your walk. And if you claim to be a True Follower of Christ, but have this type of content, it shows that these things are acceptable to you, and therefore you are not showing fruit, but rather you are a hypocrite.4. If you had a porn addiction, but have repented from it, and turned away from it then you need to set up parameters from it. Delete your browsing history, delete bookmarks to pornographic videos, even go as far as setting up restrictions on content that be displayed on your computer and phone. Yes, child proof yourself. And go as far as removing access that may draw temptation to go a step further.3. Listen to worship music instead of secular. I'm not saying you can't listen to secular music; I would be a hypocrite myself if I went that far. But use discernment to what you do consume. Remove the music in your life with blatant drug, sex, violence, and blasphemous references. There is plenty of great music that avoids this content. When in doubt, worship it out. I have found myself craving worship music. Even when I play something secular, I find myself needing something more fulfilling to my spirit.2. Kind of the same thing, remove the types of programs that the devil wants you to watch. Now we all like a good action-packed thriller from time to time, but if it is filled with ultra-violence, sexual content that pushes the envelope, unnecessary foul language that goes beyond the occasional curse word, then just remove it from your life. All things have an influence on your walk. Fill yourself with content that is positive, enriching and spiritually fulfilling. Perhaps an uplifting family comedy, or even just a good sermon from a bible teaching Pastor instead. I recommend Jack Hibbs, Steve Smotherman for amazing messages. J.D. Farag if you want to dive into prophecy, and James Kaddis and Tom Hughes for current news and prophetic events.1. And finally the number one way to remove sin from your life. Take captive every thought that goes against what God wants for you. Turn away from thoughts, visions, and situations that may cause you to stumble. Always keep Jesus in your thoughts and in your sight. In fact, keep this in mind, God is with you always, he is riding shotgun. And ask yourself, would you listen to, watch, or do the things you shouldn't if the Lord was visibly sitting right next to you? The answer is no. You can't see him, but he is there. Never forget that. In fact, embrace it. He is always there to guide you, embrace you, protect you and fulfill you.And I will close with this. Having a constant dialog with God, and acknowledgement of God with keep you focused on your relationship with God. That alone will keep you on the path of righteousness. Stay on the narrow path, because at the end of that path, through the narrow door, is the Kingdom of Heaven. Thanks for listening. Tune-in Wednesday, our topic is Forgiveness.

    The Untold Story "Sunday Shorts"

The Untold Story I spent 6 years in Catholic school, went to mass every Wednesday at this school, a quite a lot of Sundays, and it wasn't until I became a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ that I heard, or even learned the true meaning of his sacrifice. It wasn't until then that I even knew that I was a sinner. All those years I was never taught to follow Jesus, to believe in Jesus, to be like Jesus. Or even tell people about Jesus Christ. I didn't know that he died for us. I didn't know about repentance. I didn't know about how we should have a relationship with him. And most importantly I didn't know how to be saved. Not from my school, not from my church and not from my family. Not from anybody.  My question is why? I will answer my own question here. Because this is the devil's world. Because all religions have been infiltrated by the devil so that the message of Jesus Christ doesn't get out. Or at least not correctly. For the Catholics for example, they turn to a Priest for their confessions, and to Mother Mary for worship, and idols. They put themselves on a pedestal, to be the mediator between us and God. When we know by reading the bible that it is Jesus that is our mediator. He is our go to. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Other religions may teach this truth, but there are other truths that get twisted which cause confusion. The devil is the author of confusion. I don't say this to slam other religions, in fact, Christians should always be tolerant of other religious beliefs but not accept them as the truth. Instead, Christians should respect and love others in their beliefs, but show greater love in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is our Job as Christians, and to be clear, as Christ followers, to speak the truth to all ears that can hear. And if they hate us for it, just remember what Jesus said in John 15:18-19 18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. I say all of that to say this. Let the world hate you, we are not here to make friends, we are here to spread the Word of God, and the message of Jesus Christ. We are here to cause division between those that believe and follow Christ and those that do not.  Luke12:49-53 49 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. 52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” When I was young, I use to where a t-shirt from the band S.O.D. and there album Kill them all and let God sort them out. Well, now in my new life in Christ, I say Tell them all and let God sort them out. In Revelation Jesus had John write letters to the Seven Churches, these churches represent not only the unbiblical teachings that people receive, but the unbiblical practices that people participate in. Only two of these seven have salvation. The Persecuted Church and the Faithful Church. The others do not follow Christ, they are of the world. They are one with idols, and sexual immortality among other inequities. Unless they repent.  We must push out the word daily, so that all can hear, all can see, all can repent, and believe in Christ, be baptized in his name, and follow him until our day of redemption.  So what is the untold story? It's the true story of Jesus Christ, the story of why he came, what he did, and what he plans to do. It's the story of grace and mercy. It's the story of redemption through Christ. It's the story that so many has never heard.  Our time on this earth is running out, and the devil of this earth is working overtime. Are you going to let the people of this world perish not knowing the story or are you going to tell it?  Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/kisnou/sancta-mea License code: 2DDCJVN6OTACKGQQ

    Weight on Eternity "Sunday Shorts"

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 13:21

The weight of eternity.Us humans put all our weight on this life that we live. A life that will indeed end. It could end at the ripe age of 100 or it could end tomorrow, or today, or at any second.Scary, but nonetheless, a reality. We put so much weight on this life. On our stuff. On the next great thing. The next great movie, or star, or partner. We stress over everything to be perfect, or better, or faster, bigger. And in the end, when it's all over, when we are no longer… alive, all this stuff that we long for, strive for, stress over. Stays right here for the next human to pick over in a yard sale, for family members to fight over, or to simply end up at the bottom of a pile at the local dump. Or in a box under someone's bed, to be forgotten about. How many Big Things could you not wait for? Saved all your money for? Stood in line for days for? Marked days off your calendar in hope for? How many of those big moments came and went, and now forgotten. Just a distant memory that has been erased to replace the next great thing.Seems silly when you think about it. When in the end, none of it really matters. Sure we should have life experiences. Sure, we should enjoy an occasional movie, a great concert… love. But we should not be on absolute fire for any of it.We should put all our weight on Eternity. This life has an expiration date. And none of us know when that date is.Eternity does not. Its forever. Without end. It just goes on and on and on and on….So which eternity do you want? You have two choices. Heaven or Hell. Most of you listening to this, I can guess, choose Heaven. There maybe somebody that comes across this message that doesn't believe in God. And if you do not believe, does not make him not real. I can assure you that God is real. And considering that him being real, and hell being real, and Heaven being real, wouldn't that make you, just for a moment think that seeking out the answers for such an infinite reality of what happens after you inevitably pass on.Why wouldn't such a extreme possibility, that could either be the most amazing experience of your existence or the most terrifying make you shut down your stubborn human nature to actually stop and think that maybe this… This is what I should pay attention to. That this reality seems way more important than researching stereo equipment for 30 hours or swiping left or right for the millionth time. That maybe those people I see on the street corner trying to tell you about Jesus Christ, might not be so crazy. Those people. Those disciples are trying to save your life. Why? Because they love you. Why? Because they have the love of God inside them, and it is pouring out to all of God's people to lead them to a place of peace and joy. Where you will never feel pain, never shed a tear. Where our creator God Almighty will be with open arms to accept you into his Kingdom. If you are an unbeliever, I encourage you to dig into that, research that. Read the bible, look to the prophets, and the prophecies that came to pass. Look how God had spoke to them about things to come, that came and passed with every detail. Look at the things that are happening to us right here right now that the bible said would happen, to the very detail. It's undeniable. Then you put your faith into it. Make a decision that God is real, and Jesus Christ is the only way to him, and make him Lord of your life and not all the stuff that you worship. Then, you will see God working in your life. You will see miracles. You will here him speak to you through his word, and to your heart. To those that do believe, congratulations, you are wise. But do not settle for halfway in. God wants all of you, be obedient, and let yourself fully die of this world and live your life for Christ. Love him more than anything or anyone else. Keep your eyes on Jesus, every day.Don't put your weight on this life but put it on eternity. Because your eternity is all that matters, everything else will just get left behind.Thank you for listening to this message, it maybe the most important one that I have spoke on. And if you have never shared an episode with anyone, I'm asking you to please share this one. It could save somebody's eternal life. It may have saved yours.God Bless, have an amazing day.Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/ilya-kuznetsov/collisionLicense code: 8EE3PM5XUYIF9P5QFirst Street Preacher is part of Columbus Street Preachers. "Sunday Shorts" Pride

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 7:38

Sunday Shorts “Pride”What is pride in Christianity?Pride alienates from God. Whether consciously or not the proud are estranged from God.             Pride is self-devotion, self-justification, and self-glorifying in contempt of God.This contempt may give rise to open revolt, but not always. It is usually expressed as “aversion” of God.             We are all inflicted with pride; we were taught at a young age to be proud of ourselves, and to do things that make people proud of us, like our parents, loved ones, peers --and thanks to social media even people we do not know. And it just dawned on me how the devil is at work again, by creating such a freeform tool to boost our pride in a world-wide platform to boast about everything, to everyone. Something to think about, next time you post that next selfie or whatever it may be.             So how do we humble ourselves in such a prideful world.First, we must realize how we were saved. What God did was designed to humble us and destroy pride. The Old Testament was written to show the power of sin and hopelessness of everyone. And without the grace of God, we are indeed hopeless.Romans 3:1919 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become [a]guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.           We are completely helpless to free ourselves from the blindness and the bondage of sin.We cannot bring ourselves to life from death. Romans 8:5-7, 1 Corinthians 2:14, 2 Corinthians 4:4So, what kills pride?FaithGod appointed faith as the only way of salvation. The way of faith excludes pride. This happens in 2 ways. First, Faith by nature, looks away from ourselves to God, and secondly, Faith itself is a gift of God.Romans 3:2727 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. You are not trusting God when you are boasting, and you are not boasting when you are trusting God.Faith is a gift. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing, it is a gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast” Ephesians 2:8-9           And 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 is probably the clearest text in the Bible about the relationship between election and humility, or election and the destruction of pride.1 Corinthians 1:26-2926 Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world's eyes or powerful or wealthy[a] when God called you. 27 Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. 28 God chose things despised by the world,[b] things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. 29 As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God. Pride is slain by election, free, sovereign, God-willed election, not man-determined election. God chose. God chose so that no human being might boast. Then Paul continues like this in verses 30-311 Corinthians 1:30-3130 God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. 31 Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.”[a] So, the entire message of saving us is designed for this: negatively, that no human being might boast in the presence of the Lord; positively, so that the one who boasts would boast in the Lord.We are saved in such a way that it makes God's sovereign grace shine as glorious and makes us look completely helpless in ourselves, completely dependent on God. We were dead, blind, and helpless, which means that we were no more worthy of salvation than anyone else. You are like everybody that you will boast over, or worse than them, except for one thing. Grace. All self-exaltation is a re-crucifixion of Christ because he died to kill pride. Every boast, therefore, mocks the suffering of Jesus. And I end on this: every humble attitude, every humble act of faith, glorifies the grace of God in Christ.Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/caleb-fincher/looking-forwardLicense code: T81CEFMJFPPADO9UMusic from Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/vens-adams/adventure-is-callingLicense code: RWCWHRYNIVTB3PAU

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 7:12

In this episode we take a look into Revelation and the one world religion. And find out what verses God led me to.There is no coincidences with God!!God BlessThe one-world religion described in Revelation 17:1–18 as “the great harlot” will be part of the end-times scenario. The term harlot is used throughout the Old Testament as a metaphor for false religion. The actual identity and makeup of the religion has been debated for centuries and has resulted in a number of different views among Bible commentators and theologians. There are convincing arguments for the one world religion being Catholicism, Islam, the New Age movement, or some form of religion not even invented yet, and an internet search will produce many more possibilities and theories. There is no doubt that some sort of one-world religion under the false prophet will be a part of the end times, perhaps made up of a number of different religions, sects, and isms that are around today.Revelation 17:1–18 gives us several characteristics of the one-world religion. The false religion will dominate all the “peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues” of the earth (Revelation 1b, 15), meaning that it will have universal authority, no doubt given by the Antichrist, who rules the world at that time. Verses 2–3 describe the harlot as committing adultery with the “kings of the earth,” referring to the false religion's influence among the world's rulers and influential people. The reference to being drunk with the wine of her adulteries may refer to those who are drunk with the power they receive from worshiping the false god of the false religion. Satan frequently ensnares those whose lust for power drives them away from the worship of the true and living God. The alliances forged by the false religion will unite church and state as never before.“The sun and moon will grow dark, And the stars will diminish their brightness. The Lord also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel. “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, And no aliens shall ever pass through her again.””‭‭Joel‬ ‭3:15-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬https://www.bible.com/114/jol.3.15-17.nkjv“The burden against the Wilderness of the Sea. As whirlwinds in the South pass through, So it comes from the desert, from a terrible land. A distressing vision is declared to me; The treacherous dealer deals treacherously, And the plunderer plunders. Go up, O Elam! Besiege, O Media! All its sighing I have made to cease. Therefore my loins are filled with pain; Pangs have taken hold of me, like the pangs of a woman in labor. I was distressed when I heard it; I was dismayed when I saw it. My heart wavered, fearfulness frightened me; The night for which I longed He turned into fear for me. Prepare the table, Set a watchman in the tower, Eat and drink. Arise, you princes, Anoint the shield! For thus has the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.””‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭21:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬https://www.bible.com/114/isa.21.1-6.nkjvVery fitting scripture for the times we are in. ForgivenessIs there somebody who in your life that you need to forgive? How easy are you to hold resentment or anger toward somebody? Do you realize how much impact not forgiving somebody has on your salvation. Salvation is based on forgiveness. Non of us deserve to go to heaven. We are all filthy sinners. But the grace of God and his forgiveness of our sins, because of our belief in Jesus, and our obedience to do what he says and follow him. That includes forgiving others. There are so many verses that speak to this.““Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”Luke 6:37 NKJVhttps://www.bible.com/114/luk.6.37.nkjv““For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”Matthew 6:14-15 NKJVhttps://www.bible.com/114/mat.6.14-15.nkjv“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”Ephesians 4:32 NKJVhttps://www.bible.com/114/eph.4.32.nkjvDo you see the pattern here? Let the Holy Spirit lead you. Be slow to anger. Reflect on yourself, and the actions, or sins for that matter that you, yourself have committed against others. It makes me think of when Mary Magnoline was about to get stoned. But Jesus said, let he without sin cast the first stone. Then they all dropped their stones and left.So should you cast judgement, hold grudges, and not forgive when you yourself have done the same or worse?I live the parable Of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35“Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.' Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!' So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.' And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?' And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his tre”Matthew 18:21-35 NKJVhttps://www.bible.com/114/mat.18.21-35.nkjvIf you have someone you need to forgive, don't wait. Clear that list and keep it that way, the way God has cleared his list for you. And on the flip side. There maybe somebody that needs to forgive you. Give them that opportunity by offering them an apology. Unforgiveness can be a huge weight. It's time to let go of that weight.Live a life of love, forgiveness and gratitude.Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/caleb-fincher/looking-forwardLicense code: E6NCXNG9LCIRHOQL
