I hope you’ll join me as I share friend to friend conversations with women who’ve been there, done that, and can point us to our Saviour who walked them through it. It’s my desire to have conversations with women who are meeting God in the mess of their living room or the mess of their heart. Women…

The Friend to Friend: Hope for your Heart and Help from His Word podcast is an incredible resource that has truly been a blessing in my life. I started listening to the podcast a couple of months ago, starting from the beginning so I could catch up. As someone who has faced numerous trials in the past year and a half, this podcast came into my life at just the right time. It has provided me with the encouragement and support I needed as I navigated through difficult times. I am grateful for the dedication and effort put into each episode, as it truly shows in the quality of content.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the wide variety of topics covered. From testimonies of salvation to discussions on different seasons of life, there is something for everyone. The guests on the show share their personal stories and experiences, which adds a relatable element to each episode. It's refreshing to hear real-life stories that resonate with my own struggles and provide guidance and encouragement.

Another great aspect is how grounded this podcast is in Scripture. Each episode encourages listeners to look to Jesus and His Word for guidance and strength. The hosts consistently point back to God's truth, reminding us that He is our ultimate source of hope and help. This biblical foundation sets this podcast apart from others in its genre.

In terms of drawbacks, it can be challenging to keep up with new episodes since they are released regularly. However, this can easily be overcome by making it a priority or setting aside specific times to listen. Additionally, while the range of topics covered is broad, some listeners may find that certain episodes are not as applicable to their specific situations or struggles.

In conclusion, The Friend to Friend: Hope for your Heart and Help from His Word podcast is an absolute gem among podcasts available today. It provides relatable stories, biblical insight, and practical advice for navigating various seasons of life. I highly recommend giving it a listen and binging on the episodes until you have caught up. The dedication and effort put into this podcast are evident, and I am grateful for the blessing it has been in my life.

It has been wonderful to see God use and bless my heart's desire to reach listeners, many of which I will never meet this side of Heaven. We covered a vast array of topics that encouraged and helped ladies for which I am grateful and give God the glory.      Motherhood: God's Greenhouse For Growth. Join me and 5 other guests as we share how motherhood has become a greenhouse of growth - a place of fruit and thorns, sowing and reaping, purging and cutting back. And for what purpose? To be grown in His likeness - our Shepherd and Savior, the Master Gardener, for in leading our children we become students led by His hand. Friends, in sharing these stories, I hope to give you the opportunity to say, “What?! You too? I thought I was the only one!” You are not alone and when days are long and you don't feel like you measure up, don't forget to look up. Look up to our Savior who has promised to equip us for the journey if we will walk in His ways and in His spirit, instead of our tired flesh.  Look behind to younger mothers looking for help and encouragement and look ahead to wiser mothers, further down the road, for the same hope.  And friends, if motherhood is not a road you're traveling, I hope these stories will give insight for how to pray for those you know doing their best to mother their children well.  Connect with us!      As children, we often dream of what our lives will be and make plans for carefully scripted ideals. But we've all seen carefully scripted lives go off script - whether through tragedy or even unexpected blessings. When life goes off script, we are quick to wonder, “What is God doing? Why did he allow this?” Trials, especially, remind us that the we are not the author of our own stories. We can be tempted to question,“Is the Author trustworthy?” In today's episode, Dan and Janice Wolfe share how God in His goodness took trials that could have destroyed their faith and turned those trials into gifts of grace - drawing them closer into fellowship. Their lives have been touched by the death of a spouse, divorce, and an illness that forever changed their child. The Wolfes testify to the truth that God can truly work ALL things together for our good and for His glory. Connect with us! Thanks for tuning in today for our second episode of Season 5, themed “I Cannot but Jesus in Me Can,” words that were once spoke by Holocaust survivor and Christian, Corrie Ten Boom. One of the greatest lessons that Corrie spoke of was that because of Christ in her, she was enabled to forgive one of her once Nazi captors. Corrie traveled the world for 30 plus years after the war sharing this lesson of forgiveness made possible through Christ. As Christians we can become equipped and enabled to extend Christ's forgiveness to others but then can find it hard to receive that same forgiveness for our own sins and short-comings. We become our own worst enemy held back by guilt and shame. Today, my friend Chris Segers joins me to share her story of overcoming her past and how God has enabled her to live a life of freedom from guilt and shame to love Him and serve others. I have learned that motherhood does not fit me when I am not fixed on Christ. My prayer today is that my testimony will allow you to say, “What? You too? Have you ever found yourself craving something new? Perhaps a fresh start in a new year, a new job, new relationships or a different season of life? I have often found myself discouraged by outer circumstances - craving something new, yet finding lack in everything around me. I find myself looking for new in all the wrong places.  Like all of humanity, we demand new from life and end up disappointed in the vanity of what we thought would fulfill us…   This past April I was invited to speak at a ladies' conference in Indiana, hosted by Pastor Wilkerson and his wife Linda. Once deceived by self into believing that she could be “good enough” to earn God's salvation, Mindy shares how Christ brought her over that barrier to salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone. She also shares how God continues to patiently show her that His love is not something to be earned but a gift to be received. Today's episode #48 is our second episode of Season 4 : Salvation: One Gospel, Different Stories.  The power of the Gospel is seen over and over in the result of a changed life. In Acts chapter 9, the Bible gives us the account of Saul  - a persecutor of Christians - whose encounter with Christ turns him into a preacher of the very Gospel that he sought to silence. A life radically changed.  My guest today, Carol Everett, is one such example of a life whose encounter with Christ produced radical change. Like John Newton, the once slave trader turned abolitionist, wrote when he penned the beloved hymn Amazing Grace, “I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see," seeing for the first time what she had once been blind to seeing, Carol was confronted with the sin and evil of her lucrative abortion clinic. Once an advocate for pro-choice, Carol's salvation story resulted in not only her new life in Christ but in life for unborn babies that she now actively seeks to protect. Carol not only seeks to protect unborn lives but to also share Gospel hope with both women and men and help for those recovering from abortion. Inherit Co.
