No matter our struggles, we can have hope and overcome fear because Jesus promised to be with us—always.
“Living with fear stops us taking risks, and if you don't go out on the branch, you're never going to get the best fruit.” - Sarah Parish Mistakes are acceptable, screwing things up is acceptable, failure is acceptable, but continuing to live in fear without taking action is unacceptable.
We live in a world filled with expectations that we cannot meet. We think God is like our world, stingy with love. But Jesus rose again from the dead even when no one believed he could. He rose again to free us from the fear of sin and death and to give us new life.
A LIFE WITHOUT FEAR (Hebrews 13:5-6) When the old mapmakers were drawing ancient maps, they did not know what we know today. They didn't have global positioning satellites. They could not see the world from outer space, and they would make maps of what they knew. But there was much that they did not know, and when they would come to the edge of their knowledge, they would often write something like this: “Beyond this, there may be dragons.” And, if you will look at some of the old maps, you will see the sea monster in the ocean right alongside those words. This is because man has an innate fear of the future, and of the unknown. The fear of the future is a foe that we all face. Whether we are young or old, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, we wonder about what is going to happen. Fear has no racial bias. It's endemic to all people. There is a fear of where our country is heading. There is a fear of the persecution of Christians that is occurring as our country, and world, move further and further away from the Biblical values of God, and God Himself. There is fear of the violence that is occurring all around us. There is a fear of financial loss and the inability to pay the bills that are sitting on your table at home. There is a fear of disease and failing health in a world filled with cancer and pandemics. These are just a few of the things that we face in an uncertain future, and yet, God wants us to have a future without fear. As a matter of fact, God has not only admonished us, but God has commanded us, not to fear. Click on the play button to hear a message that will teach you how to live a life free of fear. This is a live recording of The Master's Class Bible Study at LifeChange Church Wichita, KS. Amen.

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:26 God cares about the nature that is around us. He feeds the birds in the air, He takes care of the trees, He takes care of it all. He takes care of animals in the forest, the fishes in the sea, and the birds in the air. Surely He takes care of you as well! We, humans, are created in His own image, and He loves us so much! He will care for us, as He loves us deeply. Do not worry about yourselves, because our God is a great God that will take care of us!

We live in a therapeutic age where feelings and emotions dominate reason and confidence in truth. Almost anywhere you turn these days, researchers are telling us how folks are more anxious and consumed in fear than at any other point in recent history. Fears inhibit our students' ability to learn and impact their physical, social, and spiritual health. And parents and teachers, well all of us, are vulnerable to fear and anxiety these days. But there is good news! On this episode, we welcome back Ben Bost to share practical wisdom on overcoming fear in both our personal lives and school communities.

Our perception of the world is the lens we look through due to our past experiences, both personally and evolutionarily. This is why we often find it difficult to have a positive outlook after we experience trauma, such as grief, unless we are intentional about lifting ourselves up. Being a hopeful person doesn't mean you never have moments where you feel hopeless or that you'll never experience normal human emotions like anger, fear, or sadness. A perfect example of this is today's guest, Shama Yunus-Joynt. After the loss of her child, Shama experienced a transformation in herself that allowed her to move forward with strength towards the life she wanted to live. Her perspective on the future changed, as she had lived through her worst fear and survived it. What could your life mean without fear? Listen in to find out. About Shama Yunus-Joynt: Shama Yunus-Joynt is an experienced human resource professional specializing in culture and engagement. She has a background in coaching and mental health, which she combines in a very unique way towards helping companies define and execute extraordinary people strategies. A global pandemic that has ushered people to go inside and inward is unprecedented for most of us. It has caused anxiety and has brought out fears in us. Fear of uncertainty, fear of change, fear of the future. In this episode, we explore, with Stuti Singh, Founder of A Life Without Fear, all how fear cripples us and hinders our growth. We also question whether, at any point, fear works to our advantage, and we explore how we can move out of fear-based energy and transmute it into something productive.

"Life Without Fear" is the title of a book by Dr. Fred Barge, one of my favorite classic chiropractic texts. Dr Barge was a contemporary of BJ Palmer, and told us that living a chiropractic life didn't make you impervious to pain or health issues, but made you strong in knowing that "the power that made the body can heal the body'". Our healing potential is astonishing and most of our patients have no idea what it is capable of.
