The landscape of the Hollywood musical has gone through its seasons, from being able to print money, to now feeling like a massive swing. "It's the most movie filled time of the year..." and we are joined by a man who meets and maybe exceeds our Oscars excitment, Anthony Desanctis, Programming Manager of Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas to predict the 95th Academy Awards. In this episode we gather to offer our picks, our snubs, and our greatest hopes for the 95th Academy Awards. We cover all four acting races, director, and best picture in our prediction show in hopes to solidify our ballots and help you with your own. In a season that has been marked by emotional speeches from Ke Huy Quan, Michelle Yeoh, and Brendan Fraser, can the 95th ceremony deliver the goods and make a little magic? Who will win out in the hotly contested best actress race? Will Rihanna absolutely slay her performance? (the answer is yes). How many times will Jimmy Kimmel make Moonlight-La La Land jokes? It's all ours to find out.

It's Super Bowl week, and as Philadelphia's beloved Birds make it to the big dance we thought it only appropriate to cover the city's most enduring sports hero: Rocky Balboa. A script written in a feverish 3 1/2 days from a first time screenwriter turned sports movies on their head. Packed with heart, sensitivity and triumph in the face of loss, Rocky inspires us all to go the distance. With such a heartening story, and so many sequels, it would have to be required viewing of any film fan. It's a Best Picture winner and has one of the most iconic scores of all time. So we have to in this episode ask one of our co-hosts, HOW COULD YOU NEVER HAVE SEEN ROCKY?! Join us for a deep dive into loving Philly, rooting for Adrienne, defending Gazzo, and hating Paulie. By the power of Grayskull and birthdays we are bringing you a celebration of the beloved (and occasionally maligned) film adaptation of the toy series, Masters of the Universe. Join us on a good journey through the realms of Eternia and some town in Texas to follow He-Man in his usual battle with the villainous Skeletor. Behind the scenes, budget cuts and rushed schedules reigned supreme leading to a more earthly setting than most fans of the cartoon expected. But 7 year old Ryan didn't care about any of that. It was all about seeing He-Man battle it out, laughing at Man at Arms, and that epic throne room. Hence why it is his pick this year for a very special birthday episode celebrating one of his most enduring loves, He-Man. Want to follow all things How Could You Podcast?
