Every disciple of the straight and narrow way that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14) must inevitably experience the afflictive consequences of their former actions. The question becomes if they do so with resignation, acceptance, and perseverance, so that by consciously and patiently paying what one owes before the divine law, spiritual debts are reconciled and wisdom is cultivated. However, the process is a prolonged and grueling one, designated by some authors as “dark nights of the soul.” In such moments of despair, loneliness, and abandonment, the practitioner lacks inner illumination to guide them forward in the psychological work, or as Christ exclaimed on the cross: “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46). While spiritual nights are painful and experienced by everyone in the Gnostic path, they are a necessary step towards self-realization, for ordeals and tests are fundamental for proving one's candidacy in the mysteries. As Beethoven demonstrated in his life and his only opera, the initiate can overcome the punishment of the law through tenacity, negotiation, forgiveness, and supreme faith in divinity. See how in the conclusion of Beethoven's only opera, whereby Florestan seeks his liberation from the prison of karma with the help of his courageous wife Leonora, the divine soul that descends like an angel from heaven to redeem the fallen Sophia.

Disguised as Fidelio, a male prison guard, Leonora seeks access to her incarcerated husband's secret cell in the effort of freeing him. Like other metaphors in religion, the gnostic mythos describes the descent of divine light into the prison of the mind, seeking to liberate and elevate Pistis Sophia (the revolutionary consciousness) back to her rightful spiritual hierarchy. In the same manner, Leonora (the "light of Leo," Helios, the Sun, Christ), disguises herself within the world of forms to perform a very sacred mission: the redemption and liberation of her forsaken husband Florestan, wrongly imprisoned due to political rivalry. Don Pizarro, the corrupt politician who governs the prison and Florestan's persecution, symbolizes the gnostic archons, karma, and metaphysical laws that punish and oppress Pistis Sophia's efforts towards self-realization. Discover how our own inner divinity (Leonora, the divine embodiment of the Christic light) makes super-efforts to orchestrate the greatest work in the cosmos: the liberation of the psyche from suffering and the complete development of our human potential.
Ist Kunst politisch? Historisch betrachtet: klares Ja.
Beethoven's only opera encodes tremendous metaphysical truths gleaned from his own inner spiritual development on the initiatic path. What is more remarkable is that he conveyed gnostic principles on the demiurge, archons, aeons, and redemption without physical access to classical gnostic texts. This is because as a master of meditation, he was privy to knowledge inaccessible to the mind, personality, or senses, and through his psychological work, was able to witness, live, and portray first hand the very root source of such knowledge informing the conception and documentation of the Gnostic Gospels and Nag Hammadi corpus. He composed Fidelio not only to musically uplift humanity's level of being, but also to teach the realities of divine law (karma), atonement, and the esoteric spiritual work for candidates of the mysteries. Such wisdom is elucidated by Samael Aun Weor's rich commentary on The Gnostic Bible: The Pistis Sophia Unveiled, which serves as the basis for future viewings of Beethoven's masterpiece. Discover the deep insights of this truly gnostic opera, and how a prophet of music demonstrated true love for divinity and the overpowering realities of Pistis Sophia's salvation (the penitent soul who longs for and aspires to the light).
"Fidelio" is the password, or you can just press play for our final in a long series of episodes celebrating the 25th anniversary of the films of 1999. If you've been listening all year you knew we would cover Kubrick's final psychosexual thriller masterpiece in all of its Christmas lights glory. And we did! Just under the wire to before the ball drops and we start 2025. It's Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise at their finest, in all sense of the word. It's more than just that one scene you've heard about. It's a film desperately searching to critique desire, wealth, power, and what happens when you go searching for something you don't intend to find.
Christmas is here and you know what that means, It's time for Tom Cruise to poke around New York looking for sex! Does this movie prove Kubrick couldn't have faked the moon landing? Fidelio pigman?
Sean McCann returns to speak with William Ramsey about his latest discoveries in his exploration into the work of Stanley Kubrick. Sean has discovered a key to decipher Stanley's films. From 2001 to Eyes Wide Shut, Kubrick's films align on the same timeline to give us a new message about compliance with evil & the loss of our souls. The Fidelio Experiment (Eyes Wide Shut synchronized with itself at one hour intervals) is the master key to decode Stanley's work. Sean has aligned many of Kubrick's films with the Fidelio Experiment & has discovered they synchronize at key moments to tie the films' themes, scenarios & even dialogue together. Undergirding many theories speculated by viewers over the years. Stanley has carefully constructed his films to align this way. The least we can do as fans is see it & recognize what a genius it was who created them. Stanley Kubrick's 1962 film Lolita synchronized with Eyes Wide Shut (synchronized with itself at one hour intervals). Seeing these films juxtaposed together on the same timeline reveals infinitely more information relevant to the true message Kubrick was giving us with his artwork. Lolita's themes of pedophilia, Hollywood's dark occult & even Samiramis & Pan dovetail perfectly with Eyes Wide Shut. These films are built to compliment each other & give us a more complete picture overall. See how certain moments line up precisely. These films were meant to be seen like this. Stanley Kubrick's depiction of our future society, A Clockwork Orange (1971) synchronized with the Fidelio Experiment (Eyes Wide Shut [1999] synchronized with itself at one hour intervals) all displayed on 4 screens in surround sound. Sound confusing? ...you'll be pleasantly surprised to see it all makes total sense. Frederick wears robes & a masky too. This juxtaposition allows us to see where the films align on the same timeline. Using these two films Stanley depicts how the Cult hires it's psychopaths like Milich. Alex is a highly sought after individual for the cult of death. Frederick, working for the government in corrections, is the perfect scout for the big leagues of "Ultra-Violence". His petty droogs end up as policemen, while Alex the 'violence artist' becomes "friend" to the cult. Clear as an unmuddied lake, we learn how the mind of a psychopath really works. Now taking into account the cult brainwashed & performed surgery on Alex's brain, we see how the cult focusses so much attention to the minds of those it wishes to control. A little glimpse at the horrors which Helena & Alice have endured. Trauma Based Mind Control creates a perfect slave like Alice. A slave who is trapped forever in helpless obedience to evil masters. One who will give her daughter away to the same cult that destroyed her & laugh in her husband's face while she deceives him. The Shining taught us about the nature of evil & demons. A Clockwork Orange taught us about the humans who work for them. Eyes Wide Shut is all those stories shown to us unflinching. Kubrick is fully dissecting psychopathy, evil & mind control. This synchronization allows us to view these films as Stanley intended. "Sean McCann returns to Psyop Cinema to unveil the Fidelio Experiment—which, we are quite confident, is not only the state-of-the-art in occult Kubrick studies but the key to unlocking the final secrets of the cinematic master. Sean first takes us through his long investigative journey, including his previous milestone, “The Butterfly Net,” and explains how he finally cracked the Kubrick code. After applying the password to Eyes Wide Shut internally as well as to the bulk of Kubrick's filmography, Sean and Brett then compare this grand unified theory against the information provided in Jasun Horsley's The Kubrickon regarding Kubrick's early relationships with the deep state and the core Thelemite circle in Hollywood. Finally, Brett highlights the almost completely ignored direct link between Kubrick and the Third Reich, revealing who “the Nazis” really were for Kubrick." Stanley Kubrick's legendary horror film The Shining (1980) synchronized with the Fidelio Experiment (Eyes Wide Shut [1999] synchronized with itself at one hour intervals) with added commentary by Sean McCann. If you thought the Fidelio Experiment was interesting, just wait till you see it synchronized with The Shining. Stanley created these films to sync up at key moments allowing we the viewers to see relations between the films as they are displayed on the same timeline. Notice the significance of the drinks & the kiss. Jack is Tereus on a murderous rampage with his ax as Philomela escapes to become a Nightingale. Beethoven's first attempt at opera, Leonore, premiered in Vienna on 20th November, 1805. Attendance was sparse, due in part to Napoleon's recent invasion: the audience largely composed of French officers. And, unlike almost all his other work, the piece still has a reputation as ‘A Director's Graveyard'. Why? Possibly because the setting - a jail - is drab and uninspiring. Perhaps because the archetypal characters are mostly singing about their inner life. Or… maybe because it's all sung in German, and Beethoven didn't know how to write for singers? In this episode, Arion, Rebecca and Olly discover how the great composer made an initial impact on Austria thanks to his virtuoso piano skills, not his compositions; reveal the multiple occasions on which he attempted to re-work his flop (finally debuting a revised Fidelio in 1814 to great acclaim); and explain why Leonore was the Spider-Man of its day… Further Reading: • 'Fidelio: Story, Synopsis & More' (English National Opera):: https://www.eno.org/operas/fidelio/ • ‘Beethoven: Fidelio, By Peter Gutmann' (Classical Notes, 2014): http://www.classicalnotes.net/opera/fidelio.html • ‘Stage@Seven: Beethoven: Fidelio (Ouverture) - Andrés Orozco-Estrada' (Frankfurt Radio Symphony, 2020): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ8xsi42ubA Love the show? Sean McCann returns to Psyop Cinema to unveil the Fidelio Experiment—which, we are quite confident, is not only the state-of-the-art in occult Kubrick studies but the key to unlocking the final secrets of the cinematic master. Finally, Brett highlights the almost completely ignored direct link between Kubrick and the Third Reich, revealing who “the Nazis” really were for Kubrick.https://onegreatworknetwork.com/sean-mccannhttps://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttp://psyop-cinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinema thomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Have you heard of the remarkable German Heldentenor Ernst Kozub? If you haven't, you're in for a special treat. And if you have, you know doubt have preconceived notions about him, which I hope that you will be prepared to set aside as I present an episode that explores the many facets of an often unjustly-maligned artist. Throughout his short life (he died in December 1971 shortly before his 48th birthday), Ernst Kozub performed a wide range of roles and styles of music, but he was certainly most celebrated for his Wagner and Strauss roles, as well as for his Florestan in Fidelio. The musical selections I have chosen today surround him with some of the most impressive of the jugendlich dramatisch soprano voices of the era, including Hilde Zadek, Melitta Muszely, Elisabeth Grümmer, and Gundula Janowitz, with special emphasis placed on two American sopranos whose careers were primarily based in Europe: Arlene Saunders and Claire Watson. Kozub also performs Schlager, operetta, Jewish cantorial music, nostalgic quasi-folk music, and operas by Offenbach, and Puccini, as well as his particular favorite, Verdi, all sung in German translation. Countermelody is a podcast devoted to the glory and the power of the human voice raised in song. Singer and vocal aficionado Daniel Gundlach explores great singers of the past and present focusing in particular on those who are less well-remembered today than they should be. Daniel's lifetime in music as a professional countertenor, pianist, vocal coach, voice teacher, and journalist yields an exciting array of anecdotes, impressions, and “inside stories.” At Countermelody's core is the celebration of great singers of all stripes, their instruments, and the connection they make to the words they sing. By clicking on the following link (https://linktr.ee/CountermelodyPodcast) you can find the dedicated Countermelody website which contains additional content including artist photos and episode setlists. Bonus episodes available exclusively to Patreon supporters are currently available and further bonus content including interviews and livestreams is planned for the upcoming season.
