OKGYEONG, HOW COULD YOU. Judy and Linda are flabbergasted by the choices in episodes 9-12 of "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born" (정년이), starring Kim TaeRi, Jung EunChae, Shin YeEun and Ra MiRan. TW: suicide attempt Digressions: 1:01 - The political situation in Korea, at time of recording (December 13) 4:54 - Linda watched "1987: When The Day Comes", which feels apropos at this time. Remember history, people! 6:37 - Judy is loving the second season of "Arcane" on Netflix. Even if you know nothing about League of Legends videogame, you won't regret checking out this beautiful work of animation. 8:47 - Linda finished rewatching "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" (25, 21) and finally understands why they broke up in the end! 11:11 - Judy watched the Netflix series, "Bodies", a sci-fi thriller that starts off really cool, but why do they always aim for a second season that they're probably not gonna get? 14:02 - Linda watched "Wicked", and there's no doubt that the songs are great, but 3 hours for part 1? Yikes. Some Korean terms: 국극: [gook-geuk] traditional Korean musical theatre. 판소리: [pan-so-ri] traditional Korean singing. 재수없어: [jeh-soo-up-seo] "You're unlucky". 넌 한번도 날 완전히 가진 적이 없어: [neon-han-beon-do-nal-wan-jeon-hee-gah-jin-jeok-ee-up-seo] "You've never once had me completely". 너무 답답했어, 정말: [neo-moo-dap-dap-het-suh-jeong-mal] "I was so frustrated, honestly". It's Ryan's birthday and it means a no veto episode is in the works. For this year Ryan is celebrating Zach Braff's Garden State in its 20th anniversary. It's a movie that was a Sundance darling, critically acclaimed and a boost for sales of The Shins albums. It's beloved by the How Could You?! Podcast, but this film went from much marveled to much maligned. In an emotionally honest episode we seek to answer the question How Could You not love Garden State?

Has Realpolitik gotten too real? —Apartheid & Our Trip Ahead— One in four American Jews think Israel is an apartheid state, and one in five that it's committing genocide. What's so controversial about that? All that and the music of Shay Hamber, who we fell in love with when she was 13, nine years ago, on a kids' reality music show, and who we're falling in love with all over again today, on an adults' reality music show!
In this episode, the AR Pod Team welcomes Dr. Alfredo Ortiz Aragón, an Action-Researcher and Associate Professor in the Graduate Program at the Dreeben School of Education, University of the Incarnate Word San Antonio, Texas, and co-author of Action Research (Fifth Edition) with Ernie Stringer. What does rigor mean in Action Research? Is this term even appropriate for what action researchers do? To discuss these important questions the AR Pod team has a “critically casual” conversation with Alfredo about issues of rigor, quality and what makes good action research. The conversation starts with a quote by Alfredo about the problem with using the term rigor in action research (2:00), which raises a lot of hard-hitting questions, such as: “How might narrow understandings of rigor negatively affect Action Research practice?” and “Should action research be rigorous, or should it simply be responsible? (18:34) Our trio gets critical on the rigid nature of the term rigor to make the point that one needs to be mindful of the moments in action research processes where they should be rigorous and when they should not. Join us in this conversation! Hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy Old Time radio podcast please welcome to the show tonight famous film actor and radio performer Mr John Lund. Mr Lund's first film had him as star To Each His Own with Olivia Havilland for Paramount, in which he played dual roles. It was written and produced by Charles Brackett and was popular critically and commercially. Paramount used Lund as Betty Hutton's leading man in The Perils of Pauline , of another hit.He was one of many Paramount stars who made cameos in Variety Girl . Billy Wilder then cast Lund in A Foreign Affair , as romantic lead to both Marlene Dietrich and Jean Arthur. It was highly acclaimed but failed to make him a major star. He supported Edward G.Robinson in Night Has a Thousand Eyes. Brackett gave him the lead in a comedy Miss Tatlock's Millions. He played Alfonso I d'Este, Duke of Ferrara in Bride of Vengeance alongside Paulette Goddard and MacDonald Carey, following the suspension of Ray Milland the film was largely ill-received by critics. Hal Wallis used him in My Friend Irma as Al, boyfriend of Irma with Ms Marie Wilson as Irma. The film is best remembered however for introducing Martin and Lewis Jerry Lewis had meant to play the role of Al but realized he was miscast. He supported Barbara Stanwyck in No Man of Her Own and reprised his performance as Al in My Friend Irma Goes West . Paramount announced Union Station for him but William Holden ended up playing it. Lund went over to MGM to play the false love interest in Duchess of Idaho with Esther Williams and Van Johnson. Brackett gave him another good role in The Mating Season , alongside Gene Tierney, Miriam Hopkins, and Thelma Ritter. He was Joan Fontaine's leading man in Darling, How Could You! . Paramount wanted to loan him to Universal for Week-End with Father but he refused and was put on suspension. but what a lot of people may not know is that Mr John one also appeared in the old time radio show Johnny Dollar until 1954. in this first episode Mr John line plays a man who is the co captain on a yacht as they are leaving Venezuela he has a very poisonous snake to halt to the United States. so he informs the passengers about it but he tells them not to worry. but unfortunately mother nature hits when a big wave moves the boat. then causes the snake to be able to get out of his cage. so he tries his best to look for the snake. and it is called a shipment of mute freight. and then this next episode he plays the man who has worked for a GM of a hotel for years now and each day at 3:00 they always sit down for coffee but unfortunately for the man instead of enjoying this experience with his boss he hates it. so he works for the hotel as the assistant manager and one day when the maids are refusing to go in the room and clean a room because of rats. he decides to go in the room and is introduced by a doctor who is conducting an experiment on the rats. so the doctor tells him about this yellow powder that is called 6r which causes the victim in slow amounts excruciating pain until they unfortunately die. so the man has an idea in order to get the job of his dreams. he has to eliminate his competition which is the GM himself. but unfortunately for the man he does not know that his boss knows what he is doing until it becomes too late. and the title of that episode is called experiment 6-r which appeared on suspense in 1949. I hope you guys enjoy Mr John Lund and his performance on the show for tonight if you like the show please comment and subscribe guys and enjoy the show thanks.

Welcome back to HWIDG! Around here, we're in the ol' Christmas mood, meaning Tab's drinking his "special" hot chocolate sponsored by Jameson, Tim's making wreaths out of his handle collection, and Todd's vaping a nice gingerbread-venison blend. So Happy Holidays from our weird podcast family, and don't forget the true meaning of Christmas: feeling upset at your gift haul despite buying everyone you know their dream car. Also, issues:* Christmas* End of the Decade Lists* Goverment Hours* Deleting/Deactivating AccountsChristmas. A time of giving. Giving yourself a sweet new iPad that is. Here you go people i've known all my life, here's gift cards to restaurants that aren't even in your area. BUT I WANT MORE. YOU DIDN'T BUY ME A VINTAGE MARSHALL STACK?! HOW COULD YOU?! Ten years is a long time, and most of us only get 7 or 8 of them. Ten years ago Iron Man was a surprise hit with a no-name character with a glint of a larger universe. Now? The MCU is the biggest thing of all time. 2009 was an entirely different time, back when the iPhone had a 3.5 inch 480px320p screen and Soulja Boy was still a thing. Do you want to go back to those days? I didn't think so. How about instead of decade round-ups, we do decade predictions so in ten years we can look back on how wrong we were about holograms and full body VR plugsuits. The government doesn't work for you. Period. It tolerates you, sure, but it doesn't care about you or your life. It cares about itself. Is it easier and cheaper to work 9 to 5 40 hour weeks? Yes. Does that help anyone that actually needs them to work? No. And what about holidays? Seems like they take any chance they can to not help you. Another sunny week in paradise and to our surprise, all the couples have already swtiched. It’s hard to keep up with this weaved web when everyone involved is pretty hard to watch in the first place. Nevertheless, we followed as best we could and found some of our past villains aren’t as bad we thought. And the only thing we have to say to that is, JORDAN, HOW COULD YOU?!
